Safaree Sends Request To Lower Child Support Payments And Have Erica Mena Cover His Legal Fees

Safaree and Erica Mena continue to show bitterness towards one another despite being officially split for over two years. Most recently, it was the latter who was sounding off, clowning his new sense of generosity. “And here I am feeling guilty because I wasn’t there due to work. And while I’m feeling guilty, motherf*****s is out here trying to make the world believe that they actually have a charity because they care about other people’s children. How can you care about anybody else’s children when you don’t even care about your own?” Mena ranted.

Well, it seems like her views on Safaree’s supposed unwillingness to not help his own offspring are being proven right. According to The Neighborhood Talk (via InTouch), the TV star is looking to whittle down his child support payments. Not only that, but Safaree is additionally demanding that Mena help pay off his legal fees due to her income supposedly increasing. He says due to her labeling him a deadbeat father publicly to millions of social media followers has led to less bookings.

Furthermore, Safaree claims to not be a full-time cast member on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, leading to a decrease in his monthly income. When him and Mena’s divorce was finalized back in September 2022, he was making around $61,000 per month. With that supposedly not being the case, he’s trying to lower his initial $4,305 child support obligation. It’s also not helping that he’s keeping his children for 3–4 weeks at a time instead of the previously agreed upon 12 days. These documents were apparently filed back in a Georgia court in June 2023.

What are your thoughts on Safaree wanting to reduce his child support payments and have Erica Mena cover his legal fees? Do you think this will wind up working out for him? How does this make the musician and TV star look in your opinion? Erica Mena? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Live Nation Faces $5 Million Class Action Lawsuit Over Ticketmaster Data Breach

Live Nation is facing a massive class action lawsuit over the recent data breach from Ticketmaster which allegedly affected upwards of 560 million customers. The group ShinyHunters harvested users’ full names, addresses, emails, phone numbers, and credit card information. The complaint accused the parent company of taking nearly two months to even notice the breach and also of having inadequate security protections in place.

The lawsuit cites several damages including invasion of privacy, an increase in spam calls, texts, and emails, and much more. “The Data Breach was a direct result of Defendant’s failure to implement adequate and reasonable data protection procedures, including vendor management, necessary to protect consumers’ PII from a foreseeable and preventable risk of unauthorized disclosure,” the lawsuit reads, as caught by The Hollywood Reporter.

It continues: “Defendant disregarded the rights of Plaintiff and Class Members by, inter alia, intentionally, willfully, recklessly, or negligently failing to take adequate and reasonable measures to ensure its data systems, or the data systems of its vendors, were protected against unauthorized intrusions; failing to take standard and reasonably available steps to prevent the Data Breach; and failing to provide Plaintiff and ClassMembers prompt and accurate notice of the Data Breach. Plaintiff and Class Members are now at risk because of Defendant’s wrongful conduct.” With the lawsuit, users are seeking $5 million in damages.

The latest legal action comes after the Department of Justice sued Live Nation, earlier this year, for allegedly acting as a monopoly, something the company has denied. Be on the lookout for further updates on Live Nation on HotNewHipHop.

Big Sean & Gunna Encapsulate Humble Beginnings To Perfection In “It Is What It Is” Visual

The goal for Big Sean’s latest album Better Me Than You in our eyes was to promote maturity and personal growth. Overall, the project mostly succeeded in that regard outside of a few detours in the tracklist. In terms of the quality, Sean Don definitely had some flashes of pure genius, but too many times did he revert back to some things that hold him back. Some of those drawbacks included sleepier performances and some awkward singing. All in all, though, we are happy to see the Detroit native back in action and there are still a few tracks that we go back to. One of those is Big Sean’s first-ever collaboration with Gunna, “It Is What It Is.” This seems to be a favorite for most that checked out this tape and it’s easy to see why.

Sean and Gunna absolutely glide over Turbo’s Latin-esque trap blend. The topic at hand is substantial enough to keep your interest as the successful MCs remember their journeys to fame and flex on the doubters. Both drop some gems, with one being, “No time to wait, I’ma hit in this Scat, hope they payin’ attention / They try turn their back on the realest / Ain’t work, what the word on me now when you fearless?” It’s pretty evident that this track has tremendous replay value and Sean recognizes that as the visual for “It Is What It Is” is here now. Given that him and Gunna are rapping with that blue-collar mentality, them choosing a decrepit-looking freight train station was a smart move. It’s a lowkey video, but it really needs nothing more. Check it out with the link below.

Glasses Malone Clarifies His Views On Drake As Complimentary Tweets Resurface

Glasses Malone has clarified that he’s never had a serious issue with Drake and actually thinks he’s a “phenomenal artist.” After fans dug up his old posts on X (formerly Twitter) praising the Toronto rapper, he addressed the situation during a livestream. He had previously argued that Drake isn’t true hip-hop.

“I don’t know why y’all think I dislike Drake. Drake is goated,” he said. “If I’m saying Problem is better than Drake, it’s not because I think Drake is bad. I think Drake is a phenomenal artist. He one of the best f*cking artists ever. This n***a like Madonna as a rapper. This n****s dope. He knows what he’s doing. When I’m giving credit to my homie, I’m not finna say that about some n***a I don’t think is dope. He just not hip-hop. Hip-hop is street culture personified through art.” From there, he labeled Drake “Jewish culture personified through the arts.”

Fans on X had mixed responses to the argument. “So is Alchemist hip hop? That mf a Jew from Beverly Hills and n****s say he one of the greatest producers ever. How does this work?” one user responded to the clip. Another countered: “Crazy to see. The man has done so much for hiphop. Honestly, I wouldn’t really blame Drake if he stopped rapping all together. An just started producing/writing. ‘The culture’ just don’t appreciate his contributions at all according to this n***a.”

OnlyFans content creator Gucci Third Leg is currently under fire after a female TikTok collaborator accused him of transmitting herpes to her.

Danae Davis says that she was only 19 at t the time of their collaboration and never disclosed that he had a sexually transmitted disease. She also claims that GTL knew about his diagnosis and purposely kept it a secret from her and his other female social media collaborators.

Being that Gucci Third Leg has collaborated with some of the biggest porn stars in the world, Davis claims that he has exposed dozens of women to the disease. Streamers Adin Ross and Deshae Frost have slept with some of the women that GTL has collaborated with, which now has the industry abuzz about who could’ve been exposed and possibly even contracted the disease.

Gucci Third Leg claims to have slept with over 3,000 women in his lifetime. Someone took to X to post a list of the women with whom Gucci Third Leg either shot content, slept, or created content in the past year.

GTL has yet to step forward and issue a statement regarding these allegations.

Live Nation Is Being Sued In A Class Action Over The April 2024 Ticketmaster User Information Hack

A class action lawsuit has been filed against Live Nation, accusing it of not securing user information after an April 2024 hack of Ticketmaster that harvested the personal info of more than 560 million customers. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the lawsuit was filed in California federal court on Friday (October 11) and demands at least $5 million in damages. Ticketmaster allegedly took nearly two months to uncover the hack, then another two months to inform customers their information had been compromised.

THR credited the attack to the hacker group ShinyHunters, which exploited vulnerabilities with Ticketmaster’s third-party server host, Snowflake, and threatened to leak the info on the dark web if not paid a $500,000 ransom. According to the lawsuit, Ticketmaster did not ensure that Snowflake had taken adequate security measures to protect user data, and retained personal information that it should have deleted. That information was also being sold to business partners and data brokers.

ShinyHunters has also been credited with hacks of AT&T, GitHub, and Pizza Hut, stealing over 900 million customer records. The stolen information can be used in further identity theft, such as opening fraudulent credit cards and other loans.

Ticketmaster, which is part of Live Nation, is also the subject of another lawsuit from the US Department of Justice, alleging that the two companies’ partnership constitutes a monopoly employing illegal means to suppress competition.

DDG’s BBL Contest Leads To Severe Backlash From Halle Bailey Fans

DDG and Halle Bailey caused quite the uproar on social media at the beginning of this month for their split. However, the raucous has more so been caused by the rapper and content creator rather than the singer. Overall, he’s been the one doing almost all of the talking and posting online, with Halle only sharing some flicks at the gym with their child, Halo. What we have to learn is that he’s only willing to get back into a relationship if it’s with her.

Additionally, and quite conversely, he was also saying that he would tell his younger self to be single during his 20s. He essentially said dating is taxing and labeled it as “a part-time job.” It seems that the belief surrounding their breakup is that DDG was problematic, and that Bailey was right to be quiet amid all of the noise and leave him. That feeling is only growing after The Shade Room has shared that he’s launching a contest for his female fans.

He’s getting ready to drop a new single called “What U Bad For,” and it assumedly going to be a self-confidence anthem. We say that because in conjunction with the song, DDG is giving two lucky fans the chance to get a free non-surgical BBL. To win, they need to send him and Dr. Dorfman, the surgeon who will be performing the procedure, a video of them explaining why they deserve to win. It will be a two-week contest and when they get selected, they will be flown out to LA after getting a consultation that says they are able to receive the BBL surgery. Overall, Halle Bailey fans are being proven right in their eyes, while others feel she should have donated proceeds to charities instead.

What are your thoughts on DDG getting two fans non-surgical BBLs? Do you think he should have done something else in conjunction with his new song? Is this surgery become too big of an issue? Do you think this further proof that the rapper was the problem in his relationship with Halle Bailey? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding DDG. Finally, stay with us for everything else going on in the worlds of music and pop culture.

Punch Dispelled Rumors Of Beef Between TDE And Dreamville Artists After A Viral Fan Theory About J. Cole’s ‘Pi’

j. cole

Ever since Future and Metro Boomin added Kendrick Lamar to their combative single “Like That,” the rap game has been in shambles, with bloodlust among rap fans fueling pernicious rumors of beef between their favorite entertainers. Case in point, the song “Pi” from J. Cole’s new mixtape, Might Delete Later, has been the center of rumored beef between rappers affiliated with Kendrick’s former label, TDE, and J. Cole’s label, Dreamville. However, TDE President Terrence Henderson — aka Punch — stepped in to dispel that myth before it spread any further.

After a rap fan on Twitter (never calling it “X”) wrote, “Ab-Soul threw jabs at J. Cole after Cole did him dirty by adding him & Daylyt to a song with a verse dissing Kendrick on ‘Pi’,” Punch did some fact-checking on the inaccurate speculation. “I hate to clear up rumors,” he wrote in response. “I usually let them fester and see how far they go, but ALL verses on ‘Pi’ were recorded long before ‘Like That.’”

It’s fair to say that fans have let their excitement get the best of them in the past. That, combined with the vagueness of some rappers’ battle raps, gives plenty of room for conspiratorial thinking and jumping to conclusions. However, there’s a big difference between fan theories on the internet and what really goes on behind the scenes — and Punch’s tweet is a reminder that many of those theories are usually missing key pieces of information. In this case, the fans in question appear to have overlooked the fact that Daylyt and J. Cole have collaborated since on “Plate Of Collard Greens,” and that even Ab-Soul appears to be rooting for Drake to have a soft landing.
