21 Savage Surprises Fans During Young Nudy’s Atlanta Concert

Family ties can lead to incredible artistic chemistry, and there are fewer better examples of that than cousins Young Nudy and 21 Savage. Moreover, Nudy just invited 21 to join him during his Atlanta concert, his final homecoming tour stop for his 2023 dates. Unsurprisingly, the crowd went absolutely ballistic when 21 Savage graced the stage, and they performed the track “Peaches & Eggplants” to a wild group of fans. If you’re looking for more from the East Atlanta trap star, he recently released his latest food-themed album Gumbo, where he delivers high-quality cuts while tapping into his inner MF DOOM.

When it comes to the Her Loss‘s guest appearances as of late, they’ve been nothing short of energizing and impactful. The weekend before linking up with Young Nudy, 21 Savage appeared during Metro Boomin’s fantastic set at Coachella. Sure, they played some of 21’s contributions to his latest album HEROES & VILLAINS, but also went through their extensive and iconic collaborative history. Whether it was “X,” “Runnin’,” or “Bank Account,” the MC-producer duo ripped through the festival grounds like a hulking beast- or like The Hulk, considering Metro’s comic book-inspired presentation.

Young Nudy & 21 Savage Serve Atlanta Crowd “Peaches & Eggplants”

What’s more is that other artists recently took note of Young Nudy and 21 Savage’s chemistry, with one artist in particular remixing one of their team-ups’ instrumentals. None other than Lil Yachty took a shot at the duo’s “EA” in a snippet he shared while on Kai Cenat’s stream. Over the menacing instrumental, Yachty floats with off-kilter flows and consistent switch-ups that make his relaxed delivery feel more potent. Hopefully the remix lands sooner rather than later, as it would mark one of the only times that the 2016 XXL Freshmen officially collaborate on a song.

Regardless of that, Young Nudy will likely continue to deliver on the colorful yet still grimy aesthetics that he’s graced fans with so far. Another standout project from him is EA Monster, which he dropped last August to a lot of fan acclaim. It seems like no matter the occasion or the context, a Nudy and 21 joint never misses. Lil Yachty Remixes Young Nudy & 21 Savage’s “EA” In New Snippet

Lil Yachty’s finally receiving his proper credit. A pioneering figure in the Soundcloud rap movement, he’s undoubtedly pushed the boundaries of hip-hop and influenced a generation of rappers who’ve followed him. However, in recent times, he’s also earned much more praise for his musical outings. 2022’s “Poland” became a viral hit that landed on many year-end song lists. But, it was his foray into psychedelic rock with Let’s Start Here that felt like a true testament to his range as an artist.

Some fans felt as though Let’s Start Here was Yachty’s attempt to abandon his rap beginnings. However, that clearly isn’t the case. He returned earlier this year with “Strike (Holster),” which bred some serious anticipation surrounding Yachty’s next project. Yachty leans into the vibrato delivery even further, just as he did on “Poland,” for a smooth, melodious banger. Still, it seems like “Strike (Holster)” is really just getting things in motion for a new era in Yachty’s career.

Lil Yachty Previews New Music

This week, Lil Yachty joined Kai Cenat on his recent livestream. Though the two delved into plenty of topics, including Cenat’s custom AF1s gifted by Twitch, the Atlanta rapper also previewed some new music. The rapper actually debuted a remix of Young Nudy and 21 Savage’s “EA,” which includes drill drums rather than Pi’erre Bourne’s signature trap percussion. It’s unclear where it’ll land but hopefully, it sees a release date in the near future.

Besides the recent remix, Lil Yachty’s been riding high in the last few months. He recently served as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live where he performed “The Black Seminole” and “Drive Me Crazy!” Prior to that, he revealed that he wanted to lock in for a joint album with Tyler, The Creator, who he said inspired him to explore the psychedelic rock sounds on his latest album Let’s Start Here. Overall, it looks like we’ll be getting a lot more music from Lil Yachty this year. Perhaps, he’ll announce an album sometime in the near future. Young Nudy Releases New Album “Gumbo” With Food Names For Song Titles

Young Nudy

Young Nudy’s new album, Gumbo welcomed his fans to a feast of new music. The rapper is known for his clever food name titles on his songs, and in this new LP, all the tracks have food titles to match the album. Atlanta rapper Young Nudy dropped his new album Gumbo, and all of the […]

Young Nudy Releases His Food-Themed Album ‘Gumbo’ In Spite Of The Huge Leak Of Nearly 200 Of His Songs

Hip-hop has a long, proud tradition of rappers naming albums and song titles after foods. You may never find a better title in all of rap than MF DOOM’s “Rap Snitch Knishes.” The latest rap mainstay to join this proud history is Atlanta rapper Young Nudy, who released his new album, Gumbo, today after teasing its tracklist over the weekend.

Each song on the album is named after some kind of food, and many are named after ingredients in a good pot of the titular soup, including “Okra” and “Shrimp” (I don’t want to hear any argument about this; unless you have food allergies, your gumbo must include shrimp, or it ain’t gumbo). Other tracks are named for other dishes — “Pot Roast” which features Nudy’s fellow feature-reticent rapper Key Glock, a match made in heaven — or ingredients — “Portabella,” “Duck Meat,” and “Peaches & Eggplants,” the latest collab between Nudy and his cousin 21 Savage.

The impressive 13-track playlist only includes those two features and once again finds Nudy rapping over dizzyingly weird beats, which has become his signature. It’s even more impressive that he had these tracks ready to go so quickly after someone leaked nearly 200 of his tracks, prompting him to issue an ass-beating threat on social media — a rare interaction for Nudy. It’s also a quick turnaround from EA Monster, the collaborative tape he released with Pi’erre Bourne just this past August.

Gumbo is out now on RCA Records. You can listen to it below.

Young Nudy & 21 Savage Serve Up “Peaches & Eggplants” On New “Gumbo” Collab

Rather than blend in with the crowd and drop an album on New Music Friday, Young Nudy is taking a different approach today (February 28). At midnight on Tuesday, the 30-year-old shared Gumbo, a 13-track effort that boasts plenty of food-themed titles, plus two features from Key Glock and 21 Savage. The PRE artist joins his friend on “Poat Roast,” which finds them both putting their rhyming skills on display.

Further down on the tracklist, the “X” hitmaker comes through on “Peaches & Eggplants” with a killer closing verse. “Okay, she fine (21) she sexy, she cool (21) / She from East Atlanta, so she like to get loose (On God),” Savage begins, throwing in plenty of his signature adlibs. “Casamigos, (Yeah, yeah), do some shrooms (21, 21) / But if you wanna come (21), give my brother some (Yeah).”

21 Savage Reunites with Young Nudy for His Gumbo Album

Nudy handles the top half of the COUPE-produced beat, revealing to listeners what it sounds like when he puts his “d*ck in that p*ssy” in his intro. His salacious antics only continue as his real bars begin to come out. “Slut out a freak, hit her from the back, turn her bladder deep / Do the triple legs when I’m in a freak, knock a ho to her knee,” he confidently spits.

Ahead of Gumbo‘s arrival, Nudy teased the project on social media earlier this month. Fans were notably eager to hear his first full-length effort since 2022’s EA Monster. That consisted of just 11 titles and saw one guest appearance from BabyDrill. Seeing as he worked with Glock and the Saint Laurent Don this time around, we’re eager to see what heights the Atlanta native’s career will rise to.

Quotable Lyrics:

Okay, she fine (21) she sexy, she cool (21)
She from East Atlanta, so she like to get loose (On God)
Casamigos, (Yeah, yeah), do some shrooms (21, 21)
But if you wanna come (21), give my brother some (Yeah)

Young Nudy Is Keeping His Fans Fed With The Cover Art And Tracklist For His Food-Themed Album, ‘Gumbo’

New music from Young Nudy is coming soon. Yesterday (February 24), the rapper took to Instagram to reveal the cover art and tracklist for his food-themed album, Gumbo.

Gumbo boasts a hefty tracklisting that reads like a list of ingredients. It appears Nudy was also joined by some collaborators, who helped him cook up something great. Joining him in the kitchen are Key Glock, and 21 Savage, who is actually Nudy’s cousin.

Over the years, Nudy has garnered a large fan base and an online following, though, in an interview with XXL last year, he admitted he doesn’t spend too much time online.

“I ain’t gon’ cap to ya. The only way I knew my fan base growing, when I do a show,” Nudy said. “Other than that, trying to go from the internet and sh*t, I don’t really be getting it, because I be seeing rappers that got a million followers and sh*t, and they can’t even get 100,000 likes. And, I know I be getting them muthaf*ckas, and I ain’t got no bots or no fake sh*t. I got real Nudy fans. I feel like my fan base is slowly growing.”

Young Nudy Teases Upcoming Album With Cover And Track List

Atlanta rapper Young Nudy took to Instagram yesterday (February 23rd) to announce the release date of his upcoming album, Gumbo. The 13-track album will be dropping on February 28th and features his cousin, 21 Savage, as well as Key Glock. The 30-year-old artist also revealed the cover art and tracklist for Gumbo in his post, captioned, “[G]UMBO February #28 #NUN #TO #DO.”

As insinuated by the shrimp and mushroom emoji in the post’s caption, Gumbo‘s tracklist is fully inspired by different foods. With songs named “Duck Meat,” “McChicken,” and “Portabella,” Nudy has channeled his appetite for success into his newest project. After releasing “Loaded Baked Potato” and “Barbecue” in his album Nudy Land, the rapper has earned a reputation for naming his tracks after snacks. However, Gumbo is his first project fully dedicated to food names. The post also revealed the album’s cover art, which stylistically features a red dinner table outfitted with plates of the song titles, a gun, and a stack of bills. In the center of the table setting is a statue of a snake, hungrily gazing over a bowl of gumbo.

Young Nudy’s Food-Inspired Album Drops February 28th

Nudy released his vibey mixtape EA Monster last year, which also featured a few tracks boasting a food-inspired name. “KitKat” and “Lunch Meat” fall alongside tracks like “Impala” and “Nun To Do.” The resulting project is the 11-song collection that earned Nudy a loyal following. Right now, Nudy is set to embark on an 8-week tour presented by Rolling Loud, which will include a set at the California festival.

After the announcement of Gumbo, fans excitedly took to Twitter to share their enthusiasm. Many were quick to note the humorous song titles, with one user writing, “every song is titled after food, we’re getting a classic.” Others simply displayed their excitement for the artist’s commitment to new music, with appreciation over the album cover. “Still never missed on an album cover,” one user mentioned, while another added, “nudy always has a dope cover.” Be sure to check out more Twitter reactions at the end of this article. As the release date for Gumbo approaches, keep up with HNHH for the latest drops in hip-hop.

Twitter Reactions:

Young Nudy Was Very Upset After 172 Of His Tracks Leaked: ‘I’m 100 Percent Gon’ Beat Your Ass’

Atlanta rapper Young Nudy has been on the rise over the past couple of years after dropping well-received projects such as the Sli’merre mixtape with Pi’erre Bourne, and his albums Anyways, Dr. Ev4l, and Rich Shooter. Most recently, he reunited with Bourne for EA Monster and featured on Metro Boomin’s star-studded new album Heroes & Villains alongside his cousin 21 Savage, raising his profile considerably in 2022. So, it’s understandable that fans are hungry for more new music from Nudy; however, someone went to more extreme lengths to get it, resulting in the leak of over 100 songs from Nudy and fellow Atlanta rappers like 21, Gunna, and Young Thug. Obviously, Nudy was not happy with the culprit.

“I don’t know if y’all know, I’m not like other rappers,” he responded in a video posted on his social media. “I’m 100 percent finna take my time out to find out 100 percent who exactly is leaking my music. And I’m 100 percent gonna pull up at whatever studio it is and I’m 100 percent gon’ beat your ass, on my mama.”

Considering the leak was mostly Atlanta-based artists, the going theory is that the leaker(s) had access to a recording studio frequented by the above names and likely made off with a hard drive containing the tracks (sort of the downside of digital audio recording. It’s way harder to steal tapes). It’s also possible that the hard drive was mislaid or even stolen when an engineer took it home for legitimate reasons.

Let’s hope that, for once, the police find the leakers and bring them to justice before Nudy does anything that could land him in jail. We want to see him flourish, not get caught up over some nonsense.

Future, Young Thug, & More Are Victims Of Massive Leak

Songs and even full albums leaking have long been an issue in the music industry and will be for the foreseeable future. Specifically, within hip-hop, it seems as though leaks happen on a regular basis.

In fact, there’s an entire website, leakth.is, dedicated to updating the ever-growing list of leaked songs. Then there’s the side of SoundCloud and Twitter that’s fixated on the leaks of artists like Playboi Carti and Juice WRLD.

A common sentiment is that the leaked material is some of the best of the artist’s career. Especially with artists like Carti, who have a hardcore fanbase.

Future & Others Hacked

Hackers have recently gotten a hold of a huge collection of songs before they’ve been released yet again. Young Thug, Future, Gunna, 21 Savage and Young Nudy are among the targeted artists this time. The leaks began to circulate on the internet on Tuesday night (December 6).

The artist hit the hardest this time around was Atlanta spitter Young Nudy. A total of 172 of his songs have been accessed and exposed to the internet without his approval.

The 29-year old took to his Instagram Stories to express his frustration. “I don’t know if y’all know but I’m not like other rappers, bro. I’m 100% fitting to take my time out to find out 100% who exactly is leaking my music and I’m 100% gonna pull up to whatever studio it is and I’m 100% gon’ beat yo a**,” he said.

On the flip side, a leaked song can occasionally benefit an artist. A recent example of a leak working wonders for an artist is Lil Yachty and “Poland.”

Upon the leak of the clearly experimental track, it rapidly went viral on social media due to Boat’s wobbly, high-pitched hook on the track. The 25-year-old says the song wasn’t even finished.

The song currently has over 64,000 streams on Spotify, while the accompanying music video has 20 million views. It’s gone on to be one of the biggest hits of his career.
