“Vultures 2” Tracks Appear On TikTok & Instagram As Fans Await Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign’s Album

When Kanye West delivers an album release date at this point in his career, few hip-hop heads are inclined to believe it. The father of four is notorious for hitting fans with delays, some of them even spanning months. We saw it with the original Vultures LP, which was set to arrive in late 2023 but didn’t actually debut until February 10. The follow-up to that controversial project is expected to land this month, but as HipHopDX reports, there’s some confusion about whether that will really happen.

Ye has already made it clear that Vultures 2 won’t be available on streaming. Instead, he and his collaborators plan to sell the album online for $20 a piece – double the usual price. As we curiously wait to see if we’ll be able to purchase Ty Dolla and West’s work this New Music Friday (March 15), fans have noticed several titles from the tracklist appearing on platforms like Instagram and TikTok.

Will Vultures 2 Be Dropping Tonight?

“River,” which features Young Thug and singer Leon Bridges has made it onto various apps, along with Future’s appearance on “Promotion.” Elsewhere, versions of “Slide” with James Blake and the rumoured Playboi Carti collab, “Field Trip,” which also includes Kodak Black, Lil Durk, and Don Toliver. According to @YeFanatics on Twitter/X, insiders are now saying these are “ripped audio” recordings, and could lead to delays in the official release of Vultures.

His work on Vultures 2 is certainly taking up a lot of Kanye West’s time right now, but he’s still making sure to put his family first. Earlier this week, the Yeezy founder and his firstborn, North, confirmed that her debut album is on the way, and it takes inspiration from one of her father’s classic releases. Read all about that at the link below, and let us know if you think Ye and Ty Dolla Sign will be dropping this weekend in the comments.

Kim Kardashian & Bianca Censori Hang Out Together At Kanye West’s Latest Show

Kim Kardashian and Bianca Censori have one thing in common and that is the fact that at one point in their lives, they were married to Kanye West. Kim and Ye were married for about a decade, while Censori has been married to Ye for about a year. Overall, fans were surprised when they found out that Ye had remarried so quickly. However, he seems to be happy with Censori, and the feeling appears to be mutual. As for Kim Kardashian, she is currently dating Odell Beckham Jr., who plays for the Baltimore Ravens.

Interestingly enough, Kim Kardashian and Bianca Censori got to spend some time together recently. Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have been hosting Vultures listening parties, and the two women found themselves at the most recent one. In the video down below, you can see that Kim and Bianca were both in the same section together. The two were in very close proximity to one another, and there appeared to be no issues. It was pretty cool to see, although who’s to say what was going through their minds at the time.

As some commenters pointed out on The Neighborhood Talk, Kim was likely there to support North West. After all, North is planning to drop a new album soon. There is no telling what kind of album this will be or how it will sound. However, the concept of a North West LP is definitely intriguing. We’re sure Kanye West is very proud, and we imagine he will also look to produce it.

Kanye West Reunites with Former Manager John Monopoly to Plan World Tour

Kanye West Reunites with Former Manager John Monopoly to Plan World Tour

Kanye West has reunited with his former manager, John Monopoly.

According to Billboard, Monopoly discovered Ye in the early ’90s and worked alongside Gee Roberson and Kyambo “Hip-Hop” Joshua in the Roc-a-Fella days.

Ye announced and saluted Monopoly during a Vultures private party in L.A. The two will now tackle putting together a world tour, hoping for a launch in the forthcoming months. It would be Ye’s first tour since 2016’s Saint Pablo Tour.

In related news, don’t look for Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s Vultures 2 to hit streaming. Ye once again spoke with the YeFanactics Instagram page and revealed he agrees with James Blake sentiment that streaming “devalues our music.”

“Was talking with the team about how to release the next album. Like James Blake said streaming devalues our music. We sell albums on Yeezy.com,” Kanye wrote. “I got 20 million Instagram followers. When five percent of my followers buy an album. That’s one million albums sold That’s 300K more than the biggest album last year.

“We sold 1 million items on Yeezy.com on Super Bowl Sunday so we know it’s possible. How do you feel about us not streaming and only selling the album digitally.”

As fans await Vultures 2, Ty Dolla $ign revealed the cover, which holds sentimental meaning.

Responding to a fan online, Ty revealed that the cover features him “holding a picture of my brother Tc, FYI.”

According to HipHopDX, Ty Dolla Sign’s brother, Jabreal Muhammad, known as Big TC, is serving life for a murder that he says he did not commit.

After ‘Vultures 2’ Unsurprisingly Did Not Release On Schedule, Kanye West Appears To Debate A Direct-To-Consumer Approach

March 8 has come and gone, and surprising literally no one, Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s second part of Vultures is nowhere to be found. According to a Kanye fan account on Twitter, YeFantatics, he seems to be looking into a pure direct-to-consumer sales approach, keeping the album off of streaming entirely and just seeling it through his website Yeezy.com.

“Like James Blake said streaming devalues our music,” he insisted, according to a tweet from YeFanatics, relaying a private conversation on Instagram. We sell albums on Yeezy.com. I got 20 million instagram followers. When 5% of my followers buy an album [t]hat’s 1 million albums sold[.] That’s 300k more than the biggest album last year. We sold 1 million items on Yeezy.com on Super Bowl Sunday so we know it’s possible. How do you feel about us not streaming and only selling the album digitally[?]”

Truth be told, it’s not a bad idea. More and more artists have been enjoying the freedom and ownership that comes from alternative distribution methods, with platforms like Even allowing fans to more directly support artists without go-betweens like Spotify taking a big cut and paying out the artists pennies on the dollar.

However, let’s be honest; Kanye is probably only “debating” this avenue because it’s the only one open to him at this point. While he previously told YeFanatics the album was delayed because he and Ty are “in the lab” (and it wouldn’t be the first time he’s overshot deadlines over last-minute tweaks to his projects), there’s another possible reason. After all, Vultures 1 was a streaming beast and even some money is better than no money for a project that isn’t out yet.

When he decided to sneak his album out via a connection at FUGA, it doesn’t seem that he considered that the distributor wouldn’t be happy about it and would inevitably plug the leak. Making it a three-part release then burning his backdoor to release only the first part of it was poor strategy on his part — but then, you can’t really expect solid long-term planning from a guy who torched a billion dollars in endorsement deals to prove a point.

At least there’s always the Stem Player… right?

Ty Dolla Sign is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Kanye West Might Not Drop “VULTURES” 2 On Streaming Amid “Final Tweaks”

Ye and Ty Dolla $ign have yet to drop VULTURES 2 as promised, but now there’s a new pipeline of info that the first installment didn’t have. Moreover, a Twitter (now X) account by the name of @yefanatics has apparently been in contact with the Chicago artist and his team, and through this account, he’s been able to provide updates on the project. In some of the most recent message screenshots posted on social media by the fan page, the “BURN” MC said that he and Ty will play both VULTURES 1 and 2 at their Phoenix listening event tonight (March 10), plus what seems to be another track called “Slide,” presumably for the final part of the trilogy.

Furthermore, Ye had a pretty interesting question to ask @yefanatics (and by extension, the fans) about his and Ty Dolla Sign’s next two VULTURES albums. “Was talking with the team about how to release the next album,” he apparently wrote via direct message. “Like James Blake said streaming devalues our music. We sell albums on Yeezy.com. I got 20 million Instagram followers. When 5% of my followers buy an album. That’s 1 million albums sold. That’s 300k more than the biggest album last year. Ye’s Newest Updates On VULTURES 2

With this in mind, it’s at least great to see that James Blake’s recent statements on the music industry have really resonated. The English creative brought up a lot of great points in terms of artist exploitation, the adverse effects of a streaming-dominated economy on artistry, algorithmic engagement like TikTok being a hindrance to creativity, and much more. While Ye has his own legal, distribution, and politically sensitive reasons to see pushback from streaming platforms, it doesn’t change the fact that the issues with streaming apply across all artists, for the most part. Perhaps VULTURES 2 will join the likes of Willie Nelson as some of the first huge and prominent musical moments against streaming.

Meanwhile, we know that this is history repeating itself, because Donda 2 only released via the Yeezy Stem Player. But VULTURES 1 is still seeing a lot of streaming success, so maybe that’s another reason for them to switch things up for this one. After all, it seems like casuals won’t stop playing “CARNIVAL” anytime soon, and the next installment can focus more on the core fans. For more news and the latest updates on Ye and Ty Dolla Sign, keep checking in with HNHH.

Ty Dolla Sign Clarifies “Vultures 2” Album Cover

Ty Dolla $ign has revealed that he is the individual who appears on the cover of Vultures 2. A masked Ty stands against the same background used for the cover of Vultures 1. Furthermore, Ty is seen holding a picture of his incarcerated brother.

Kanye West posted the cover earlier this weekend. However, fans were not overly receptive to an album cover with no album to listen to. “Vultures 2 or GTA 6 dropping first?” asked one fan, referencing the equally tortured development of Rockstar’s open-world game. For context, GTA 6 is scheduled to drop in 2025. “Blud hasn’t mixed/mastered a single track from Vultures 2 yet,” theorized another fan. Despite this, some fans were excited and pointed to next week’s Rolling Loud California, despite West and Ty Dolla $ign not being listed as performers at the event. When do you think Vultures 2 will finally drop? Let us know in the comments.

Kanye West’s “Carnival” Gets Intense Cover Art

Furthermore, Kanye has gone pretty hard with the cover art for the long-awaited Vultures project. Last month, West unveiled the intense cover art for “Carnival”, one of the standout tracks from Vultures 1. Designed by noted Canadian artist Jon Rafman, the cover art for “Carnival” depicts a close-up of a screaming and bloodied skinhead. Rafman also created the AI-generated music video for “Vultures (Havoc Version)” which was released alongside the album.

“Carnival” features Playboi Carti and Rich the Kid. As mentioned, it is widely considered one of the best tracks on Vultures 1. Many people have already called it the best song of 2024. However, the song proved controversial even before it was released. A version heard at a listening party in Chicago earned the ire of Ozzy Osbourne due to an uncleared sample of Black Sabbath. A later version at a Long Island listening party used a sample of Kanye’s “Hell of a life”, which interpolates the same Black Sabbath song.

Don Toliver Shares New Snippet, “VULTURES 2” Listening Event Adds More

Don Toliver just dropped “Bandit” last month, and with a new previewed track, it seems like he’s got a lot more coming. Moreover, new snippets emerged from his social media accounts that are circulating online over his next song “Deep In The Water,” which will reportedly come out next Friday (March 15) and features his boo Kali Uchis amid some pretty visuals. Sonically, the teased portions are pretty moody and deeply trap and sultry R&B-inspired, as expected from the Cactus Jack artist. His previous single was more of a hard-hitter, so whatever this woozy direction is, it seems like it will be well-balanced.

Not only that, but Don Toliver also appeared in one of the many tracks, both old and new, that Ye and Ty Dolla $ign played at their recent VULTURES 2 listening event. The track reportedly goes by “VENOM / FIELD TRIP” and also features Playboi Carti and Lil Durk. From what these short clips indicated, it looks to be another banger with his soaring vocals taking up much of the space in it. Whether or not the album will drop soon is another story, but it’s definitely in the cards and will likely please fans whenever it lands.

Don Toliver’s “Deep In The Water” Song Snippets: Listen

Meanwhile, Don Toliver has been pretty low-key as of late, most likely celebrating fatherhood and his special relationship with Kali Uchis. Still, that doesn’t mean that he didn’t kept up with new releases and more material even in smaller ways, such as his new Curren$y and Trauma Tone collab, “Coming Home.” Although fans really want another solo project soon, it wouldn’t be too long after 2023’s LoveSick, so there’s also not a lot of pressure here. Maybe these loosies and high-impact singles will provide a lot of hits for 2024 before the next big step.

Kanye West Posts “Vultures 2” Album Cover, Fans Lament Lack Of New Music

Another week, another missed album deadline by Kanye West. Fans voiced their displeasure as West posted the cover art for Vultures 2 on the same day that the album was meant to drop. The cover of Vultures 2 shows a masked West holding a framed picture of a person some fans claim is Virgil Abloh and others claim is Ty Dolla $ign’s incarcerated brother.

However, as mentioned, fans were unhappy to be getting the album cover, but no album.
