Diddy’s Sean John Eyeglasses Brand Dropped By Major Retailer

It’s been a difficult year for Diddy, one that’s led many people and brands to cut ties with him entirely. Even for those that have been completely silent or even defenders of the legendary rap figure they recently hit a point of no return. That came earlier this month when CNN leaked a video of hotel security footage. In the clip the rap mogul appears to assault Cassie in full view of the camera, something she first accused him of in a lawsuit last year. In fact, her lawsuit served as the beginning of the recent series of trouble for Diddy.

While many have focused on the social repercussions he’s faced from various members of the music industry he’s collaborated with in the past decades, that isn’t all he’s dealing with. There’s also been a consistent undertone of business connections deteriorating, something he’s once again facing today. According to TMZ one of the major retailers for glasses, America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses is severing their ties with him. A representative for the company confirmed that they will no longer be carrying glasses from Diddy’s Sean John brand. Check out the full statement they gave below.

Diddy Suffers Another Business Loss

The consequences have been coming fast for Diddy in recent weeks. A push had been made recently for his star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame to be removed. But over the weekend an insider alleged that his star can’t actually be removed. Fellow celebrities have reacted to the video and his subsequently maligned apology by unfollowing him on social media. LeBron James and Yung Miami are two of the most relevant celebs to unfollow the rap mogul on Instagram recently. While all of this has been going on he’s still subject to an ongoing investigation by the federal government into allegations of sex trafficking.

NLE Choppa Has Students All Over The World Doing His Signature Walk At Graduation

NLE Choppa’s new song “SLUT ME OUT 2” is whatever the exact opposite of kid-friendly is. The song is even raunchier than the original and has come with a promotional campaign featuring a number of NSFW moments. That included a viral photo shoot where he recreated a classic Tupac bathtub photo using excessive chains and rubber ducks. It also included a hilarious performance of the sex anthem with some of the last people you’d expect, his own parents. Now the song is once again creeping into territory you wouldn’t expect given how raunchy it is.

The song is making its impact on graduation ceremonies around the world, though unsurprisingly it’s not because they’re actually playing the track. It’s because students all around the world are hitting the signature walk associated with the song and video as they make their way across the stage. Since it’s the time of year where millions of students are graduating it’s very easy to find tons of videos online of fans sharing videos of themselves doing the walk while accepting their diplomas. “SLUT ME OUT 2” isn’t the only new single Choppa has released recently. He followed up the highly-anticipated sequel with the equally raunchy two-prat cut “Stickin And Movin.” While the latter has only racked up 1 million streams on Spotify, the former has already crossed the 10 million stream threshold. Recently he discussed his tendency to write songs of a particularly raunchy nature and revealed a detail that many fans were surprised by. He claims that he writes his best NSFW songs while celibate, rather than pulling directly from his own active experiences.

Tyla Recruits Gunna And Skillibeng For Flashy New “Jump” Music Video

Last year, Tyla seemingly became an R&B superstar overnight. It arrived on the back of her song “Water” which dropped last year and slowly crept up the Hot 100. Eventually the song became a total smash hit peaking at number 3 on the chart. The song has racked up more than 600 million streams on Spotify alone and even got a remix with Travis Scott late last year. She followed that up with her self-titled debut album earlier this year, for which she recruited a couple of high profile features.

Two of those features also showed up in her newest video for the song “Jump.” Gunna and Skillibeng both feature on the track, which has rocketed up to her second most-streamed song on Spotify. They’re also present in the video which is shot in a variety of locations within Tyla’s native Johannesburg. It also features shots of Skillibeng from his own hometown of Kingston, Jamaica. The video was directed by NABIL and has already racked up more than 600k views in just its first few hours while hitting YouTube’s trending page. Earlier this year, Tyla canceled a world tour she had previously announced for 2024. In a statement released alongside the announcement of the cancelation. she cited health issues that prevented her from following through on the tour. The R&B star has been spotted partying all over the world in recent months and doesn’t look particularly encumbered in her new music video. That’s led to some fans speculating that there could be alternate reasons for the tour’s canceling.

Ice Spice Is Flashier Then Ever Before In New “Gimmie A Light” Music Video

Ice Spice’s Y2K era is fully underway. After she kicked off the new album with the release of “Think U The Sh*t” earlier this year the second single has finally arrived. Much like its predecessor it was also teased on social media for weeks in the lead-up to its eventual release. After teasing the title, lyrics, and even a snippet of the song with fans she shared a teaser for the music video earlier this week. Now the video is out in full and fans are unpacking the various different highly stylized scenes it deploys throughout.

The video is self-directed with Ice Spice taking over the role herself alongside two collaborators. Though it’s a short overall video matching the songs barely two-minute runtime she manages to fit a lot into it. She makes use of the pink Range Rover which was also used to promote the song earlier this week. The car makes multiple appearances as she drives it around smoking out the window and later shows off her twerking skills in the backseat. In another scene she hits a packed club with her signature long-hair look and a pink bodysuit. Check out the stylish visuals for the song below.

Later this year Ice Spice will release her debut album Y2K. The NY rapper has experienced a meteoric rise to fame on the back of her Like..? Cardi B Comments On Controversial Viral Teacher Video

A few celebrities and thousands of fans online have given their takes on a recent viral video of a teacher. In the clip the male teacher lets some of his female students unbraid his hair. While it seems innocent enough on the surface, a huge debate sparked over the video and whether or not what he was doing was appropriate. Part of that was sparked by India Royale who said “no & hell no” after seeing the video. Now Cardi B has taken the opportunity to weigh in.

That came after the teacher in question defended himself and added context to the situation. ““My admin is well aware of my social media presence, my vids, as well as the relationships I have with my students. Of course if we have visitors I prob wouldn’t do that. But this was on a Friday…at the end of the day…before dismissal…after work was completed. I hate that y’all are dragging me down because of what other mfs have done,” the teacher said in a social media post. He may have found an unsurprising ally in Cardi B who seems to agree with him. Gunna And Tyla Spotted Partying In Johannesburg

The song peaked inside the top 10 of the Hot 100 at number 7 while also hitting number one on the Hot R&B Charts. She capitalized on that success earlier this year with a self-titled debut album. The album featured appearances from Skillibeng, Travis Scott, Tems, Becky G, and more. The song “Jump” also featured an appearance from Gunna, who she’s been spending some time with recently.

Gunna had a pretty big 2023 in his own right. He dropped his new album a gift & a curse which soared to number 3 on the Billboard 200. It spawned the track “fukumean” which became one of the biggest rap hits of 2023 and one of the biggest hits of the year period. Now the two musical superstars of last year are spending some time together. Cameras caught the pair partying together in Johannesburg earlier this week. Most recently she jumped on her Instagram live and while there she shared her reaction to a controversial episode of the YouTube show 20 vs. 1. The shows format focuses on just one guy facing up against 20 girls in a variety of social challenges. In a recent episode they had a particularly NSFW incident that caught the attention of a lot of people online. Eventually the buzz got loud enough that it reached Cardi.

In the clip, she seems to take issue with the actions at hand. In the same kind of rambling, hilarious tone that fans have become accustomed to she explains why she can’t stand by the actions in the video. “I want better for you” she says specifically of J.P, the rapper who plays the roll of the 1 in the video. She kept rapping even after T.I. interjected and you can tell that she is giving this her all. But, instead of totally blowing Trapicana off, the Atlanta mogul offered up some great advice.

PARTYNEXTDOOR Reveals “Sorry I’m Outside” Tour Dates

It’s been a flood of PARTYNEXTDOOR news in the past week. Fans of the OVO R&B singer got a new album from him over the weekend. It was his first project since 2020’s PARTYMOBILE and his first new entry in his self-titled PND series since 2016. Songs like “R e s e n t m e n t” and “H e r O l d F r i e n d s” that dropped in advance of the album are already racking up millions of streams. The album will make its debut on the Billboard 200 later this week.

Now fans who are loving his new music will get the chance to see him perform live later this year. Earlier this week he announced that he was taking off on a tour. It’s called the “Sorry I’m Outside” tour and while it didn’t have dates confirmed right away, it didn’t take long. Drake Shows Off His Singing And Rapping As A 9-Year-Old In Viral Home Video

Drake is the biggest star in all of rap and one of the biggest stars in all of music, but it’s worth remembering he came from pretty humble origins. He’s spawned multiple hits from discussing his come up on songs like “Over” and “Started From The Bottom.” But a recently unearthed video gave fans an even more up close and personal experience with the rapper before he was famous. But it isn’t just Drizzy in his TV actor days, the video goes back even further than that.

A Twitter account called Historic Vids shared a brief 15 second snippet of video that got people talking. In the video Drake shows off his rapping and singing abilities over the music playing in the background. The catch is that it’s the now legendary rapper as a 9-year-old in 1995. The clip racked up more than 33k likes and thousands of retweets in just a few hours as fans couldn’t believe the moment was preserved on film. In the comments they discuss how fascinating it is seeing his interest in music blossoming at such a young age knowing what he would go on to become. As many rap fans have heard, Drake has been attacked on all fronts recently. He’s been called out directly in song by Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross, and Metro Boomin. But there’s even further suspicion that Future and The Weeknd may have also taken shots at the mega-star. Subsequently, he responded with a diss track attempting to take on all his challengers called “Push-Ups.” The song just debuted at number 19 on the Hot 100.
