Kodak and YoungBoy

YoungBoy and Kodak Black squashed their beef that started in 2017 after many thought Kodak took shots at YoungBoy on his track “Time Never Mattered” after the Iyanna Mayweather stabbing incident. The two rappers connected on FaceTime while Kodak ate Cajun gumbo in his car. The beef dating back to 2017 included a back-and-forth with […]

Young Thug’s Jury Selection Begins Today In RICO Trial

The day felt like it would never come, but finally, YSL’s RICO Trial is officially underway. Since Young Thug, Gunna, and a slew of other affiliates were arrested in the spring of 2022, the hip-hop community has been eagerly waiting to watch the case play out in court.

Many – including the DS4EVER rapper – have taken plea deals to secure their freedom. Thugger, however, has remained in custody from day one. According to previous reports, the only deals put on the table for him would still result in life in prison.

As France24 reports, jury selection began earlier today (January 9) in the city of Atlanta. The process will likely be a lengthy one, as final members must be impartial to the situation.

The trial itself is due to last much of this year as prosecutors attempt to prove that Young Thug’s record label is a crime ring front. The defence has vehemently denied these allegations. They insist that YSL (Young Stoner Life Records) is “a music label and vague association of artists.”

One element of this case that’s specifically raising eyebrows is the use of the So Much Fun hitmaker’s lyrics in the courtroom. Earlier this month, a video of a judge awkwardly reciting bars from “Slime Shit” began circulating online.

According to TMZ, other songs we may hear from prosecutors are “Take it to Trial,” “Ski,” and “Slatty.”

Elsewhere it’s been noted that the state could call over 300 witnesses, including Lil Wayne. It remains unclear what other famous faces may appear in court, though Thugger’s far-reaching influence has connected him with much of the industry over the years.

The Atlanta native has pleaded not guilty to his charges, and his attorney seems confident in his ability to clear his client’s name.

Kanye West Attends Church Amid “Missing” Rumours: Report

Last year, Kanye West was almost constantly in the headlines. Whether for feuding with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, or proclaiming his adoration for Hitler and his Nazis, there was no shortage of drama attached to the father of four’s name throughout 2022.

As December came to a close, however, reports surfaced claiming that the rapper is missing. According to his former business manager, Thomas St. John, Ye has been unreachable for several weeks now.

Some initially speculated that the 45-year-old could just be laying low after a chaotic year. Others immediately expressed their concerns. After so many tumultuous headlines surrounding West for months, the sudden silence feels undeniably jarring to fans.

Now one week into 2023, the father of four’s name began making rounds on Twitter. Specifically, people questioned where he could possibly be. “So are Britney Spears and Kanye West for real missing??” one user asked, addressing another ongoing dark pop culture theory regarding the “Gimme More” singer.

According to, to another tweet, Ye may be safe and sound in his happy place – church. “Eagle-eyed fans of [the Yeezy founder] spotted [him] at church after some time of missing rumours,” a post from Saturday (January 7) says.

In the accompanying photo, a man closely resembling West is seen wearing an army green jacket and a baseball cap with jeans. He stands with at least two other men, with reports stating they were conversation at the chapel.

At this time, it remains unclear if the apparent image of the Atlanta-born creative is recent. Following St. John’s prior claims, many accused him of spreading “fake news.”

Last month he revealed in court that Ye went missing as his former manager was attempting to sue him for breach of contract. The former reportedly agreed to pay the latter a $300K monthly retainer, though an “aggressive” meeting between the two ended those payments.

“[St. John] needed a guarantee that [West] wouldn’t abruptly abandon the commercial relationship, in addition to the financial costs and hazards associated with committing to [Kanye West] as client,” a lawsuit obtained by AllHipHop says. “But Mr. St. John offered to settle for a contract lasting at least 18 months.”

Bryan Kohberger Update: Alleged Killer Seen Throwing Trash In Neighbour’s Bins Before Arrest

Now that he’s back in Idaho and has attended his first hearing, more details regarding the arrest of 28-year-old Bryan Kohberger are coming out. Needless to say, they’re as chilling as many anticipated. However, authorities still aren’t able to paint a full picture for the public.

At the end of 2022, the criminology student was apprehended by the FBI in Pennsylvania. At this time, he’s the only known suspect in the murder of four young University of Idaho students.

In this handout provided by Monroe County Correctional Facility, 28-year-old Bryan Christopher Kohberger is seen in a booking photo after he was arrested on December 30, 2022 in Pennsylvania. Kohberger has been accused of fatally stabbing four University of Idaho students – Ethan Chapin, 20, Xana Kernodle, 20, Madison Mogen, 21, and Kaylee Goncalves, 21 – in an off-campus house on November 13, 2022 in Moscow, Idaho. As we previously reported, Kohberger and his father drove home from Idaho to Washington for the holidays. During their trip, the duo was stopped twice by Indiana state police. At this time, it’s believed these were planned pullovers to obtain more information on the suspect without spooking him.

According to CNN, authorities also kept watch over their target when he arrived at his parent’s house. A law enforcement source tells the outlet that investigators witnessed as he “cleaned his car, inside and outside, not missing an inch.”

The team assigned to Kohberger was tasked with keeping an eye on him until a warrant was obtained. Additionally, they had to gather an item that could be used to collect a DNA sample.

Officers saw the suspect numerous times outside in Pennsylvania, often wearing surgical gloves. At one point, he headed outside around 4 AM and put trash bags in his neighbours’ bins. They then collected garbage from both the family home and Kohberger’s backup spot and sent it off to the Idaho State Lab.

Last Friday (December 30), a local SWAT team moved in on the family home. Both the door and windows were broken down in what’s known as a “dynamic entry” that’s typically only used with “high-risk” suspects.

After a long trip across the country via plane, Kohberger appeared in Idaho court yesterday (January 5). The previous night, he was booked into the Latah County jail on four counts of first-degree murder and one count of burglary.

He is facing the death penalty, which some of the victim’s parents have already said they support.

Bryan Kohberger Pulled Over Twice Shortly Before Arrest

If all goes as planned, 28-year-old Bryan Kohberger will be extradited back to Idaho in the near future. The Ph.D. student, accused of killing four University Idaho Students near the end of 2022, is unlikely to fight the process, according to his attorney.

Additionally, extradition lawyer James LaBar tells the media that his client was pulled over twice before his actual arrest last Friday (December 30). During a chat with NBC, he explained that the incidents happened during a road trip with his father. They were travelling from Seattle to Pennsylvania over the holidays.

Both traffic stops were in the state of Indiana, though LaBar is unsure if they were given any tickets. “I just know they were pulled over in Indiana almost back to back. I believe once for speeding and once for following too closely to a car in front of them.”

Kohberger has reportedly been getting updates about the allegations brought against him. At this time, it seems his plan remains to waive his extradition rights, and plead not guilty.

While the criminology student maintains his innocence, Moscow Police Chief James Fry is confident they’ve found the killer. During a press conference last week, he gave as many answers as possible. However, it was frequently noted that many details must remain under wraps due to legal logistics.

He was able to verify is that Kohberger likely acted alone during the slayings. Also, the murder weapon has not yet been found. At this time, Fry believes the community of Moscow is safe, though he encourages residents to remain vigilant.

The alleged killer’s extradition hearing is scheduled for this week. Once he’s been securely returned to Idaho, authorities will share information such as the tips that led them to follow Kohberger, as well as any prior relationship he had with his victims.

Bryan Kohberger’s Family Speaks Out Following Alleged Killers Arrest

There were several weeks without any updates in the gruesome University of Idaho murders last November. Now, information is once again coming en masse. Following the arrest of Bryan Kohberger on Friday (December 30), authorities have asked the public to continue sending in any information they may have about the suspect.

For the most part, many accounts from fellow students paint the accused killer as awkward but intense. He studied criminology at DeSales University and was working towards a Ph.D. in the same subject at Washington State University. The school is located just a few miles from Moscow, Idaho.

In response to the very public scrutiny of Kohberger, his family has sent out a press release. “First and foremost, we care deeply for the four families who have lost their precious children. There are no words that can adequately express the sadness we feel. We pray each day for them,” the statement obtained by TMZ reads.

“[We’ll] continue to let the legal process unfold and as a family we will love and support our son and brother. We have fully cooperated with law enforcement agencies in an attempt to seek the truth and promote his presumption of innocence rather than judge unknown facts and make erroneous assumptions.”

They add, “We respect privacy in this matter as our family and the families suffering loss can move forward through the legal process.”

During their initial press conference last week, Moscow Police were open with the public. They shared that it may take some time before all the facts in this case can become public knowledge.

Much of the investigation was kept under wraps. This allowed the FBI and local cops to operate under the radar and maintain integrity. Now, they’re waiting for Kohberger to be extradited from Pennsylvania, where he was arrested, back to Idaho. At that time, more information will come out.

This can sometimes be a lengthy process. However, the accused killer’s attorney tells TMZ that his client is unlikely to fight extradition. This means that he would return to Latah County within the coming days and enter a plea.

Jason LaBar also says that Kohberger has neither admitted nor denied his charges. However, his client does feel as though he’ll be exonerated, suggesting he believes he’s innocent.

Check back in with HNHH later for any updates on the investigation. RIP.

Drake’s July Swedish Detainment Caught On Camera, Rapper Finally Posts Video: Watch

The summer of 2022 was a big one for Drake, what with the arrival of his surprise Honestly, Nevermind album. That was an undeniably huge success for him. However, the warmer months also saw the Canadian rapper landing in some hot water with Swedish police.

Specifically, in July, he was detained by authorities regarding marijuana-related charges after partying in Stockholm. As HipHopDX notes, weed is still illegal in Sweden. At the time, Drizzy’s team vehemently denied any claims that he was in police custody.

Just a few days later, the father of one shared a document from the Swedish National Police Board. “Information for Those Suspected of a Crime and Subsequently Detained,” the document reads. It additionally outlined his rights, such as, “know what it is you are suspected of and why you are being denied,” and “receive the aid of a defence attorney who under certain conditions can only be paid by the state.”

During detainment, Drake also had the right to “receive food and rest as needed” as well as “receive the assistance of an interpreter during interrogations as needed.”

While the incident was in the headlines throughout the summer, it’s since been largely forgotten. This is largely due to the arrival of two new albums from the industry behemoth.

Surprisingly, Drake came through at the end of 2022 with some telling footage from the night of his detainment. In a photo dump on his Instagram feed, the father of one shows a clip of him heading towards a Swedish police car while wearing a bright orange sweatsuit.

In his caption, the wordsmith wrote, “The funds are useful / The lyrics are truthful / The suspects are usual / The opps are delusional.” He continues, “The finish line is beautiful / And the disrespect is mutual. See you in ’23.”

Of course, the post has people talking about Drake all across the internet. It’s certainly not the only reason why he’s making waves though. Another video, this one of the artist’s private jet, has been circulating after landing incredibly close to a group of people celebrating on the beach in St. Maarten.

Bryan Kohberger, Alleged Idaho Killer, Described As “Quiet But Intense” By Fellow Students

In wake of Bryan Kohberg’s identity finally coming to light, more information about the alleged University of Idaho killer is circulating. Following Friday’s (December 30) arrest, the former Ph.D. student’s classmates have been speaking out about their experiences with him.

As TMZ reports, the 28-year-old reportedly had a more “animated” attitude in class after carrying out the heinous murders. He was studying criminology in a graduate program at Washington State University. Previously, he earned a degree in criminal justice from DeSales University in Pennsylvania.

Speaking with the New York Times, fellow student B.K. Norton told the outlet that he “quickly noticed some red flags” in the time after the killings that weren’t as obvious earlier in the semester. “[Bryan] seemed more upbeat and willing to carry a conversation,” they recalled.

In their email, they additionally stated that Kohberger’s interests were leaning heavily toward forensic psychology. His demeanour is “quiet, but intense,” and apparently makes those around him uncomfortable. It’s also been said that he made remarks about being obviously anti-LGBTQ.

“He sort of creeped people out because he stared and didn’t talk much, but when he did it was very intelligent and he needed everyone to know he was smart,” Norton’s character statement claims.

At this time, many details regarding the deaths of Xana, Ethan, Kaylee, and Madison remain unknown. The Moscow Police Department hosted a press conference yesterday, at which time they answered questions in as much detail as possible.

Presently, Kohberger remains in Pennsylvania where he was arrested. The plan is to extradite him back to Idaho, where further proceedings can piece together the gruesome story.

Authorities have asked the public to continue to submit tips, even with the suspect charged and in custody. They’re looking for any piece of information that can bring justice to the victim’s families.

Kohberger’s vehicle was taken earlier today, and cops are subsequently searching his place. The residence is also conveniently roughly nine miles from Moscow.

Thus far, much of the online commentary has been about the reported criminal’s “blank stare” during his police bust. At the time, he’s also said to have asked cops in anyone else was brought into custody in their investigation.
