Don Toliver Announces The “PSYCHO TOUR” Featuring Teezo Touchdown & Monaleo: Details

Don Toliver has been thriving in 2024. The Houston, Texas melodic rapper can attribute that to his latest commercial effort, HARDSTONE PSYCHO. The 16-song set saw him take a more aggressive approach by placing his already unique voice over several metal trap instrumentals. Of course, there are the softer and more mellow cuts toward the back half. But the slight switch-up was enough to make his fourth LP his most successful yet. It debuted at number three on the Billboard Hot 200 and it has been receiving its fair share of critical praise, too. The project now also has a deluxe version with four new tracks that see him grab Lil Uzi Vert and Yeat.

With all of this, it was only a matter of time before the “BANDIT” MC decided to take it on the road. Well, that day is today, as Don Toliver has just announced the PSYCHO TOUR. The unveil comes with a short trailer, as the hitmaker calls up his future traveling partner, Teezo Touchdown, to drop the bombshell on him. Speaking of guests, fellow Texas rapper Monaleo will also be opening for Don when the tour kicks off on August 8. That date happens to coincide with the Sudoeste Festival that is held in Portugal. He is one of the headliners for day two and after that, Don Toliver will resume the trek across North America on the 24.

For one, it is her second time hitting the road this year alone. This is coming just months after her solo debut set of dates which saw her perform at club venues only. Secondly, JT is dropping her first-ever project as a lead artist. There was a little bit of speculation as to whether or not this would be an EP with about 10 cuts. Those are out the window, as this is a mixtape, and it will include 16 tracks. City Cinderella will hit streaming on July 19 and will feature singles such as “OKAY”, its remix with Jeezy, “No Bars”, and “Sideways”.

What are your thoughts on JT heading out on tour for her solo debut mixtape, City Cinderella? Do you think this is a smart move for the City Girls MC to embark on this journey? What cities should have been added/what should she add? Do you think this project could be the end of her affiliation with Yung Miami? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding JT. French Montana Enlists Fabolous & Fivio Foreign Ahead Of Their Tour For “To The Moon” Single

French Montana, Fivio Foreign, and Fabolous are shooting for the stars on “To The Moon”. This is the Moroccan-American rapper’s most recent offering of 2024 and it comes after a jam-packed first half. The curator put together one of the largest tapes of the year in late February with Mac & Cheese 5. It is the latest entry in the longstanding series and outside of the usual hefty number of songs, the features were also in abundance. Kanye West, Buju Banton, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Westside Gunn, Lil Baby, JID, and Lil Durk were just a few of the stars on tap. Also making it a massive undertaking were the various versions of each track (acapella, instrumental, etc.). However, those have all been removed from streaming.

Now, French Montana is going to be heading out on the first leg of his Gotta See It To Believe It Tour. It kicks off on August 1 in Connecticut and runs through the 25th in historic Philadelphia. However, this next mission will not be accomplished alone, as fellow New York based rappers Fivio Foreign and Fabolous are going to be joining him. This “To The Moon” single is going to be something they can all perform together onstage, and it is trap banger to a tee.

Juvenile Immortalized In New Orleans With “Back That Azz Up” Day

One of the true Golden Age’s of hip-hop has to be the 90s. There were so many iconic and influential records that dropped during that decade. One of them that came out toward the latter half of those 10 years that turned out to be ahead of its time was “Back That Azz Up” by Juvenile. The 400 Degreez cut, contrary to popular belief, was not as well received as you might think. Those were the paraphrased words of the song’s producer, Mannie Fresh. But as Mannie also said, “Fast forward 20 years later it’s stood the test of time”.

Those words could not be truer, as the song is now 25 years old exactly, and it still revered and played at functions and by hip-hop fans across the globe. Because of the importance of the song and it essentially kickstarting the New Orleans bounce sound, it is getting its own day. According to HipHopDX, Mayor LaToya Cantrell made it official this week that June 11 will be “Back That Azz Up Day”. Juvenile shared his excitement for this incredible honor on his Instagram page, while holding the framed document.

“Check me out, man. The mayor done made it official. On this day 25 years ago, I released a song called ‘Back That Azz Up’. Today is officially ‘Back That Azz Up Day. I need everybody to celebrate today by backing that azz up.. Y’all come lay it down with your boy, Juvie”. Mannie Fresh also expressed his gratitude toward Mayor LaToya Cantrell, saying, “@juviethegreat @liltunechi @cashmoneyofficial and myself are appreciative of this moment in music history …THE GREATEST LOVE SONG EVER WRITTEN
Thank you to @mayorcantrell and @cityofnola.” This news comes at the perfect time, as Juvenile is also going on a behemoth of tour to help further commemorate the track. The Back That Azz Up 25th Anniversary Tour will kick off on July 7 and run through December 31. That equates to 65 stops and it should be one heck of a party.

What are your thoughts on Juvenile getting his own day from the mayor of New Orleans for “Back That Azz Up”? Is it the greatest New Orleans bounce song of all time, why or why not? Where does it rank all time for rap tracks from the late 90s to early 2000s? Are you going to be attending one of the shows during his upcoming tour? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your thoughts in the comments section below. Snoop Dogg & Warren G Drop “Cali 2 Canada” To Perform Together On Their Upcoming Tour

Snoop Dogg is known for being a prolific artist, as he featured on hundreds of songs and made a ton of tracks for his solo catalog. He has already been a part of a new album from his close pals, Tha Dogg Pound, called W.A.W.G. (We All We Got). D-O-G-G was on eight of Kurupt and Daz Dillinger’s 14 cuts and in addition, he has a solo release today. For this single, “Cali 2 Canada”, Snoop Dogg is working with more California greats, this time in the form of Warren G.

While there is a chance this is just a loosie, this record does have some affiliation with something larger. According to Vibe, Snoop and Warren will be heading up to our friends up north in Canada. In fact, they will be making their way up there in just a couple of days, as the Cali To Canada Tour begins on June 3. It features 11 dates and will go through June 25 in Vancouver.

Listen To “Cali 2 Canada” By Snoop Dogg & Warren G

Also joining them is the equally pivotal figure DJ Quik, so it should be one heck of a tour. On “Cali 2 Canada”, Snoop Dogg and Warren G are trading bars with ease and providing the ol’ reliable bounce of G-funk. This track may not be anything too special, but it is a solid formula that both artists have nailed throughout the course of their storied careers. You can check out the single with the link above.

What are your thoughts on “Cali 2 California” by Snoop Dogg and Warren G? Is this the best song that Snoop has been a part of today, why or why not? Do you think a new album could be in the works? What was your favorite aspect of the track? Who had the better performance? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Megan Thee Stallion Divides Fans With Low Ticket Prices, But There Might Be A Catch

Megan Thee Stallion is going on tour soon, but some fans are calling into question whether it will be a sold-out experience or a less crowded affair. Moreover, this argument has been made by many of her detractors in the past, but this time around, it’s due to $24 ticket prices on Ticketmaster for seats not as close to the stage. Some fans argue that this indicates that the Houston MC is desperate to sell tickets, while others brought up Live Nation’s concert week in which many concerts are getting steep discounts. You can see some more fans debate this in the Instagram post below, as well as in its comment section.

Furthermore, you can see how either way, it doesn’t seem to have much to do with ticket sales, and fans also debated whether an artist selling more financially accessible tickets is a bad thing. Either way, it’s probably not going to bother Megan Thee Stallion, who’s been teasing some new music recently and hyping up a drop soon. It’s unclear whether this will come out before the tour’s scheduled kickoff in Minneapolis on May 14, but fans obviously hope it drops ASAP. Regardless, we’re sure that there will be material eventually for this summer tour, and it has a lot of potential to stun.

Fans Debate Megan Thee Stallion’s Ticket Pricing

However, Megan Thee Stallion does have to handle some more serious accusations and rumors flying about concerning a harassment lawsuit. While her legal team dismissed this as a “salacious” attempt to get money, we won’t really know anything for sure until the case itself goes away. Of course, this prompted a lot of rightfully earned debate, especially from other fanbases in hip-hop that have beef with the Hotties. There’s some reaching and exaggeration on either side, so this is nothing to take lightly as legitimate legal action.

Meanwhile, in the wait time for that to develop, the Ticketmaster promotion (if true) will likely change in the next few days to age the narratives like fine wine or like milk. There’s been both support and attacks when it comes to the harassment allegations that supersedes any ticket talk. But maybe we just have to wait for the whole tour to go down to see what’s up. But if you want to go to a show, we’d recommend you buy ASAP if this is still an active deal when you read this.

Vince Staples Hints At New Album Before Tour This Summer

Vince Staples may be hot off the heels of his new acclaimed Netflix show, but it looks like he’s also transferring that run in the studio. Moreover, during a recent interview with Big Boy, he spoke on his plans to put out another body of work before his upcoming European summer tour. “I’m working, I’m close,” the rapper and entertainer remarked when asked about new music plans. “I’m trying to put something out. I got Europe in June, so I’m going to try to put something out before I go out there.” “Yeah, for sure,” he answered when the iconic radio host asked whether he’d drop this new material before he goes on his trek across the Atlantic.

However, if you’re on the Long Beach native’s side of the Atlantic and can’t make these shows, don’t fret. He’s got a couple of American performances on the schedule, such as Lollapalooza in Chicago in August and Jack Harlow’s Gazebo Music Festival in Kentucky this May. For this European trek, titled the Black In Europa tour and marking his first headlining tour in five years, Vince Staples will hit up cities from June 4 to June 15. Specifically, in chronological order, he’s set to perform at Cologne and Berlin in Germany, Paris, London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Barcelona.

Vince Staples’ Newest Big Boy Interview: Watch

Their conversation concerning new music starts at around the 18:25-minute mark of the video above.

In addition, this follows the “ARE YOU WITH THAT?” multi-hyphenate’s efforts to promote some other highly anticipated new music from his fellow Los Angeles spitter. He previewed and praised ScHoolboy Q’s new album BLUE LIPS before it dropped earlier this year, and while they unfortunately didn’t collaborate, it’s great to see this bond between artists working in the same field. Surely Q will return the favor when Vince Staples rolls out his next full-length effort. Either way, we don’t need anyone to tell us that he’s likely coming through with some serious heat.

Meanwhile, the 30-year-old might take up another title to add to his resume: NBA Commissioner for a day. He had some hilarious suggestions for the league during his recent appearance on Paul George’s podcast. It just goes to show that Vince Staples is always thinking about how to make things better and of deserved quality for fans, a commitment that his music will surely continue to champion. Jennifer Lopez Cancels Several Tour Dates, Reports Indicate Low Ticket Sales

Jennifer Lopez hit a speed bump on her upcoming North American tour, her first in five years, in support of her new album This Is Me… Now. Moreover, she and her team canceled seven shows from August 20 to 31 in Cleveland (August 20), Nashville (22), Raleigh (24), Atlanta (25), Tampa (27), New Orleans (30), and Houston (31). Ticketmaster indicated these changes, and seating charts for these shows are apparently still available at press time. As such, reports from other outlets name low ticket sales as the reason for this change, but that is impossible to confirm without a statement from the singer or her team.

For those unaware, Jennifer Lopez’s new album was part of a larger multi-media rollout, which she reportedly funded entirely by herself. Furthermore, two visual projects were also a part of this last month: a musical film titled This Is Me… Now: A Love Story and The Greatest Love Story Never Told, a documentary on this album and project centered around her romantic rekindling with Ben Affleck. “Everybody thought I was cr*zy. And by the way, I thought I was cr*zy,” the New York City native recently told Variety during an interview. Whether you think that applies to her relationship or her career moves, she’s ready to take it all on.

Jennifer Lopez Cancels Tour Dates: Report

Still, seeing these canceled Jennifer Lopez tour dates is quite disappointing for fans, although second nights in Miami (June 29), Toronto (August 3), and New York (August 17) were added per a Live Nation announcement on Thursday (March 14). In addition, sources reportedly told Billboard that the canceled dates were due to routing issues, but that they added new dates and will announce them soon. It’s unclear if these new dates for the “Can’t Get Enough” superstar are the new Miami, Toronto, and New York dates or if the new dates will address the canceled shows themselves. We’ll have to wait and see.

Meanwhile, even though not everyone loved the aforementioned single “Can’t Get Enough” with Latto, it’s still great to see the 54-year-old develop her career more and keep playing in the game. After all, superstardom and talent don’t go away easy. Let’s just hope that the rest of the tour goes swimmingly as planned.
