Kwazii Tries To Fix A Broken Relationship On “Full Circle”

Kwazii is someone who we have been shedding some light on as of recent. The artist hails from just up north in great country of Canada and he has the ability to sing and rap. In some respects, he takes some cues from the likes of his more popular contemporaries from his hometown such as Drake, Tory Lanez, and PARTYNEXTDOOR. He really is a dual threat that is looking to make some noise with each release, and to be honest, he’s doing just that. His last three singles, all of which are promoting his forthcoming mixtape, I Was Perfect To Someone, are pulling in good numbers. In fact, all of them hold the top three spots in his top 10 popular releases on his Spotify.

As for Kwazii’s newest track, it’s called “Full Circle”. It’s clear that he is going to be focusing on themes of relationships and their complexities. The focus of “Full Circle” sees Kwazii painfully and annoyingly deal with a woman who’s constantly playing games and gaslighting him. He’s trying to put in the effort to fix their problems, however, she’s not willing to do the same. “You normalizing the things I just can’t do / You stubborn got me praying tryna break through / I tried a thousand ways nothing changed you“. You can check out the new track with the link below. As for when I Was Perfect To Someone will be out, you’ll have to wait until September 20.

Adin Ross Teases A New Future Snippet Amid “Mixtape Pluto” Hype

Future, Atlanta rap icon, is still commanding a lot of listeners attention in the 2020’s decade. To some that probably isn’t a surprise, but just staying relevant in music is a tremendous feat, especially for how long he’s been in the game. On top of being in the mainstream still, he is almost always at the top of the charts, which just further solidifies his status. It’s why both of his collaborative efforts with his close producing pal Metro Boomin, WE DON’T TRUST YOU and WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU, are two of the biggest records of the year. That’s the other thing that is impressive about Pluto. No matter how often he drops, fans are constantly wanting more from him.

That is currently true at this moment in time as well, as ever since the release of WSDTY, he has been teasing the crap out his return to the mixtape format. There was a point in May where Future had a lot of people thinking that project would be coming. Instead, it turned out to be a guest placement on a Tee Grizzley single, “Swear to God”. That seemingly started a mini feature run and not much has been said about this return to Future’s mixtape era.

However, things are seemingly ramping back up, as a new song snippet was just previewed. With streaming becoming such a major market right now due to names like Kai Cenat, Jynxzi, and Sketch, for example, rappers especially are using it as a tool to spread the word on their upcoming material. That is exactly what Future decided to do, using Adin Ross’ platform to tease a potential track from Mixtape Pluto. There aren’t a lot of lyrics in the snippet, but the instrumental sounds extremely ominous and intoxicating. Ross seemed to like what he heard, and possible credit could go to Southside for the beat. He has been quoted talking about assisting Future, which is great considering their track record together.

What are your thoughts on this new Future snippet? Do you think this a track that will land on this upcoming mixtape? Is he the current king of trap rap, why or why not? Is he your 2024 Rap MVP? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Future. SoFaygo & Don Toliver Tag Team A Lil Tecca Beat With “Precision” In Cactus Jack Link-Up

SoFaygo might not be the biggest artist on the Cactus Jack label, but the fans sure adore him. Ever since he inked his deal, he has yet to work with Travis Scott and a majority of its counterparts. However, SoFaygo can say him and Don Toliver have solid chemistry, and we would agree they display that on their latest effort together, “Precision”. Also on this cut is New York hitmaker Lil Tecca, who is wearing his producer hat this time around. Him and the Grand Rapids, Michigan rapper are also frequent collaborators, with Tecca typically in control of the instrumentals only.

With SoFaygo steadily developing these connections over the years in the industry, it is no surprise to is that “Precision” slaps. Overall, we feel the beat is the biggest highlight, as Tecca brings an atmospheric and dark production with a slick drum pattern. It is hard-hitting right from the jump thanks to this looping tone in the background. To Faygo’s credit, he does bring a sticky chorus to the table. As for Don, some of his bars are little out there, but unhinged qualities they possess compliment that rage-like energy this single gives off. “Precision” does appear to be landing a project rumored to be called, WAR II: NEVER APOLOGIZE, but overall details seem to be a little up in the air.

Capella Grey Previews Upcoming Album With “Strings” Featuring French Montana & Fivio Foreign

Capella Grey has grown his brand very well over the course of his career. The Bronx, New Yorker has mixed elements of rap, R&B, and dancehall to create a very unique sound, one that he can partially thank for his Jamaican roots. In addition to this, he also has his own label, Allepac the Family (Capella backwards), in the early stages of the 2020 decade. The solo catalog is still a work in progress for the 28-year-old multi-hyphenate, as he has just two shorter projects to boast right now. Both dropped in 2023 and one was more of a Christmas/holiday-themed record. So, if you wanted to be really technical about it, Capella only has one album out. Soon though, that album catalog will expand to two it seems. If you head over to his Instagram page his bio reads, “Vibe Responsibly Vol.1 [6/21]”. There is not much information on it when it comes to tracklist or features, but we do a small piece to the puzzle now. That would be Capella Grey’s “Strings” with French Montana and Fivio Foreign.

This is one of many single releases for him this year, but it is his fifth solo offering. On “Strings”, Capella Grey sings about wanting to be with a woman without any commitment. Fivio and French share the same sentiments, as the duo raps over a mix of dancehall and R&B instrumentation. The rhythm is there, and the melodies from Capella add a nice bit of extra sauce to the track overall. If you want, you can check out “Strings” on YouTube with the link below or on your favorite streaming service.

Tink & Summer Walker Have Difficulties Resisting Temptations On “Songs About U”

Tink and Summer Walker are having a hard time moving on from a lover on their new single “Songs About U”. This is the latest offering from the Illinois balladeer and singer’s forthcoming project, Winter’s Diary 5. It is the 29-year-old veteran’s halo series in her discography, and it is the one that jumpstarted her career. In fact, her first four releases were all Winter’s Diary titles.

However, this fifth one will be Tink’s first in eight years, so this fan-favorite entry is a big deal. This will supersede Thanks 4 Nothing, her 2023 tape that boasted features such as Ty Dolla $ign and Yung Bleu. Another reason that this project is big news is because of one producer in particular. That would happen to be Hitmaka, who had a tumultuous relationship with Tink for quite a while.

Things got really ugly between them, including an alleged physical altercation in which Tink accused Hitmaka of, and one that the latter denied up and down. However, in one of the more recent updates, it seems they have smoothed things over enough to where they are comfortable working in the studio together. So far, Hitmaka has already produced two of the tracks, including this one. On this track, Tink recruits Summer Walker for a night of drinking that leads to them questioning if they want to get back with someone who was not really good for them. Coincidence? We think not.

What are your thoughts on “Songs About U” by Tink and Summer Walker? Is this the best promotional track from her upcoming tape, why or why not? Does this have you interested in what is to come on Winter’s Diary 5? Who had the stronger performance and why? Black Eyed Peas Team Up With El Alfa & Becky G For “Bad Boys: Ride Or Die” Track “TONIGHT”

In just under a month, icons Will Smith and Martin Lawrence will be hitting the big screen as Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett once again. The buddy cop film franchise, Bad Boys, will be getting its fourth installment, Ride or Die, in theaters on June 7. Its original motion picture debuted back on April 7, 1995 and one of the actors’ defining roles. While we most likely will not review the film, we are hear to break down a new exclusive track for it called “TONIGHT.”

This is a collaboration between pop/Latin pop legends. Black Eyed Peas, El Alfa, and Becky G were all in the studio to give the movie some extra oomph. However, fans, at least musically speaking, are going to be quite disappointed in this track. “TONIGHT” is one of the most painfully boring records that we have heard this year.

Making music for a film is never easy. We say that because the artists have to pull back a bit when it comes to getting creative for the sake that it matches a scene or tone. Which is why a good number of listeners loathe soundtracks. “TONIGHT” will presumably do what it is was set out for, but looking at it from a critical standpoint, it is wallpaper at best.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “TONIGHT” by Black Eyed Peas, El Alfa, and Becky G? Does this track build any anticipation for the forthcoming soundtrack? Additionally, does it hype up the Bad Boys: Ride or Die film, why or why not? Who had the strongest performance? Coi Leray Previews Mike WiLL Made-It-Produced EP With Title Track “Lemon Cars”

About 24 hours ago, Massachusetts rapper and singer Coi Leray was going a little viral after The Neighborhood Talk shared a video of her showing off her stripper moves. It turns out that it was a music video shoot for a new single. The track is called “Lemon Drop,” and it is the title track for a new collaborative EP between Coi Leray and a famous producer. She has worked with some of the very best, and in this case it is Mike WiLL Made-It.

According to Rap-Up, the project will be executive produced by the Marietta, Georgia native. Additionally, the new offering, which will follow-up another Coi Leray, Blue Moon, will drop on May 24. There is a strong possibility that the singles “Wanna Come Thru” and “Can’t Come Back,” will make the cut too. “Lemon Cars,” sees Leray lay down some auto-tuned singing over a dreamy instrumental about being a party girl.

Be sure to stream the new single from Coi with the link above.

RXKNephew Teases New LP With “Money Can’t Replace Time”

New York hip-hop — as every fan of the genre knows — is extremely diverse. One artist that is contributing to the colorful scenery out East is underground rapper RXKNephew. You would be hard pressed to find someone who has a larger discography than this man has since he began his career in 2019. In just five months, the off-kilter MC has dropped six(!) tapes already. Even NBA YoungBoy is not doing those kinds of numbers that early on. What is even more shocking is that he is nowhere near done. According to Stereogum, the “Critical” creator is gearing up for another project that will be out by the end of the month. To promote Till I’m Dead 2, RXKNephew is back with “Money Can’t Replace Time.”

If that title rings a bell, that is because this will be a sequel to his so called “debut LP” Till I’m Dead. That released a little over a year ago, March 10 to be exact. As we mentioned at the beginning, RXKNephew is does like to do things by the book. If you want to hear what we mean, we highly encourage you to go back and listen to his Christmas-themed track “HAPPY HOLIDAYS.”

It is a tongue in cheek rendition of Mariah Carey’s classic, “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” That is all we want to reveal to you for now. But as for “Money Can’t Replace Time,” it is definitely a much safer and toned-down approach to what he considers normal. His flows match the tempo of the production, whereas before he would have a Blueface mindset of rapping off beat. All in all, it is a solid release from the prolific personality.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “Money Can’t Replace Time” by RXKNephew? Does this get you excited for his upcoming project, why or why not? Dave East Teases Another New Tape With Hustler Anthem “SO MUCH CHANGED” Assisted By Mike & Keys & Stacy Barthe

Dave East is one of New York’s hardest working rappers going right now and “SO MUCH CHANGED” shows that blue-collar mentality tenfold. This is the Harlem resident’s latest release, and it doubles as a lead single for yet another new project. The “Phone Jumpin” artist is teaming up with a new producer this time around for Apt 6E. This time around, Harry Fraud of 2 Piece is being replaced by the equally talented duo Mike & Keys.

There is no release date yet, but hopefully the gap in between this single and the final product will not be too unbearable. Also joining Dave East on this effort is frequent rap chorus expert and singer Stacy Barthe. Many hip-hop heads will remember her most for her beautiful contributions to the late Nipsey Hussle track “Victory Lap.” On “SO MUCH CHANGED,” Dave raps with a lot of passion and at a perfect pace to boot.

You can almost hear a bit of Tupac’s influence shining through from the flow side of things. East was clearly not shy to pay homage to one of the pillars of the genre in a promotional IG post for the track. “Rest In Paradise Tupac Amaru Shakur,” East wrote. All of the elements are working in harmony on this gritty track, especially the bouncy and punchy Mike & Keys beat.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “SO MUCH CHANGED” by Dave East, Mike & Keys, and Stacy Barthe? Is this one of his better tracks as of late, why or why not? Kevin Abstract & Lil Nas X Break Out Their Previously Teased Collaboration “Tennessee”

Did you ever expect to hear Lil Nas X and Kevin Abstract of BROCKHAMPTON fame on one track? Well, we certainly did not have that on our bingo card going into 2024, but here we are. Two of the more prominent figures in the LGBTQ+ hip-hop community are teaming up for what appears to be the beginning of another album rollout for Kevin. Late last year, he made his solo return after four years with his indie record Blanket.

Now, according to Genius, the Texas singer and rapper will be coming through with a project with the rumored title being glue. It does not have a release date, other than it is expected sometime this year. This alleged lead single “Tennessee” sees Kevin Abstract and Lil Nas X fully embracing their homosexuality and how their partners love all that comes with them. The raunchy track was produced by Kevin and Quadeca as well.
