Kodak Black Continues His Lengthy “Versatile” Song Series And Announces New Mixtape

Kodak Black is unconscious! The Pompano Beach, Florida native is already prepping another mixtape, according to his Instagram page and a press release. It’s going to be out this Friday, which he’s hilariously dubbing it “BLACK FRIDAY,” and it’s going to be called TRILL BILL. The project, which is based on one of his nicknames, Kutthroat Bill, will be his third overall tape of 2024. The year began for him with his label’s debut mixtape, Vulture Love Presents: The Last Zombies on Earth. Then, just a few weeks ago, he would deliver his first solo effort, Dieuson Octave, which is titled after his government name. In conjunction with this exciting news, fans are being treated to a Thanksgiving Eve single, “Versatile 4.”

If that song title sound familiar, that’s because this a long-running series within his discography. For those who don’t know, this all began back in 2017 on his Project Baby 2: All Grown Up LP. These tracks are undoubtedly some of the longest in his career, with the first one clocking in at just under seven minutes. The second would land on the deluxe of that aforementioned project and is a whopping 9:42 long. Then, the third would drop about three years ago, coming in at a more listenable 5:36. Overall, these tracks are to showcase Kodak Black’s ability to perform on an extended listen. Depending on how big of a fan you are of his, these might be for you. In that same breath, we can also see why some might overlook release from him like this. Regardless, check out “Versatile 4” with the link below.

BlakeIana Is Requiring Men To Pay The “B.B.F.” On Her New Banger

The female rap game is heating up every other week and BlakeIANA is contributing to that. The acts in her lane are fierce competitors for sure, but we can see world in where the St. Louis product rises above expectations. She possesses strong mic presence, always has high energy, and has a knack for writing some catchy club bops for the girlies. What makes this all really exciting is that she’s pretty much just getting her career off the ground too, so we can only imagine what’s in store. Right now, she has a handful of viral singles. “BING BONG” and its remix with her fellow Missouri counterpart Sexyy Red being those records. But soon, the Murda Recordings/300 Entertainment signee is going to be putting all of her ideas and sounds onto one full tape.

According to a recent press release, BLAKEIANA is gearing up for mixtape called Back In The Field. Right now, there is no release date set in stone. But with the clock ticking on 2024, we are expecting it to drop before then. This is the time of year in which rappers are turning in their projects to leave a mark before the next 12 months roll in. She seems to be on that same track and we can’t wait for it. For now, BlakeIANA is back to provide us with one its singles, “B.B.F.” It’s a similar vibe to “Pricey” featuring Moneybagg Yo, as she feels she’s worth spending tons of money on. However, she’s taking things a step further, saying that there’s a “bad b**** fee” on top of those existing expenditures. It’s a raucous banger and one that will spread like wildfire within the night club space.

Wiz Khalifa Continues Rollout For “Kush + Orange Juice 2” With Don Toliver-Assisted “Hide It”

Wiz Khalifa’s mixtape catalog is held in high regard and one of the reasons why is thanks to his 2010 release, Kush & Orange Juice. It remains as one of the most popular of the last decade and for good reason. It helped put the Pittsburgh native into the limelight and it’s really shaped him into the artist we know and love all of these years after it. Fairly soon, Wiz will be reviving it to some degree in the form of a sequel project, Kush + Orange Juice 2. There’s some speculation that it will arrive sometime in November, but there’s no release date set in stone.

If it does come out before the end of the year, it will be his second LP of 2024. Wiz came through sort of out of nowhere in late July with Wiz Owens. However, there was an indicator that this was a part of his lowkey plans to drop twice. That phase two is now officially Kush + OJ 2, as we already have received “Khalifa’s Home.” Now, he’s back to drop off another offering, this time with a feature. Him and Don Toliver have collaborated once before, with 2019’s “Back Up” being that other occasion. Fans were fairly lukewarm on “Khalifa’s Home,” as some felt he was straying away from what he does best. But “Hide It” may regain some of those skeptics as it a weed-smoking jam if we’ve ever heard one. It’s wavy, melodic, and catchy, and one that Khalifa’s fan base will appreciate.

Tory Lanez Shows Love To Trina For Launching His Career While Announcing Rerelease Of Old Mixtape

Making a massive impact in music is certainly a tall task. If the artist is driven enough, they are going to do everything they possibly can to make their dreams a reality. Sometimes, up and coming artists have to fend for themselves and go lone wolf. For Tory Lanez, it was certainly trending that way for some time. About a decade ago, the Canadian rapper was having to sleep in his old girlfriend’s car and his manager’s couch due to his financial struggles. Unfortunately, Tory’s girl broke things off with him, so he was having to find a new temporary place to stay.

That’s when Trina came through for then young and bubbling talent, according to a recent inspirational IG post (via AllHipHop). For Tory, the story goes, “I remember showing her the song for ‘Godfather’. She looked at me and said, ‘That’s the song that’s going to get you a deal’. She put five bands up and helped me get the video shot. Coincidentally, the same director from that video, shot another video from the project for free. That video ended up being ‘Henny in Hand’. Two months later, Interscope watched both videos and couldn’t believe it was the same person on both songs. That led to me getting signed and the rest was history”.

Because of Trina’s unwavering support and generosity, Tory was able to build out his sound and brand. It’s part of the reason why the now star multi-talent is also revealing the rerelease of the mixtape in which those two songs land on. That project is Lost Cause and it’s coming on October 1, which is the day it turns 10. On top of that incredible news, Tory will also be continuing this reissuing run moving forward. “This will be the first of many classic mixtapes of mine that I will officially release on DSPs now that I am INDEPENDENT!!!☂”.

What are your thoughts on Tory Lanez divulging that Trina was helping him throughout the early stages of his career? Are you excited about the rerelease of his Lost Cause mixtape, why or why not? Have you ever heard this project? If so, what are your favorite tracks? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. NLE Choppa Manages To Get Even Nastier On “SLUT ME OUT 3” With Carey Washington

NLE Choppa had the internet extremely confused last week with his tweet, “I’m Coming Out”. Given what he’s been up to musically and online, people were jumping to conclusions that it was something in regard to his sexuality. But “Yall ain’t let me finish”. Instead, he was coming out “With New Song… A New Project This Month, and Black Duck Boots“. It appears that he’s following this release of things in order because NLE Choppa is here with “SLUT ME OUT 3”.

This is now the third release in his newest single series and perhaps a follow-up to the now completed “Shotta Flow” run. Additionally, this looks to be a new single for his “new project this month”. It’s called the Slut SZN Mixtape, and according to Genius, its arriving on September 27. There was some speculation it was going to drop in August after the announcement of Choppa’s Slut SZN clothing line. But it appears we now have a concrete date given the eclectic Memphis MC’s tweet. With “SLUT ME OUT 3”, NLE Choppa is bringing more of a pop/disco/dance pop vibe with this one. But don’t let the clean and agreeable production fool you. This may be the most descriptive and raunchy one out of the trio yet.

Future Reveals Release Date For “Mixtape Pluto”

In the beginning of May, Future was riling fans up with two simple tweets. “MIXTAPE PLUTO” and “MAY TENTH 🤧” sent everyone into a frenzy that Wednesday. However, the internet was severely disappointed to learn he was referring to a Tee Grizzley feature that would go on to drop that Friday. However, there was also some truth to that first tweet. Since then, Future HNDRXX has been relentlessly teasing the release of Mixtape Pluto with several snippets. Of course, this started going down just a month after the trap specialist put out his two sister tapes with Metro Boomin, WE DON’T TRUST YOU and WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU back in March and April, respectively.

Now, with him officially announcing the mixtape today, we can finally say it’s 2015 all over again. That year, Future dropped four projects which were Beast Mode, 56 Nights, DS2, and What A Time To Be Alive. Even though we won’t be getting a quartet of LPs, a trio is nothing to sneeze at. According to a recent press release, as well as the MC’s social media, we will be able to hear Mixtape Pluto next Friday, September 20.

A post shared by Future PLUTO Hendrix (@future)

At this moment in time, producers, features, or the tracklist are not yet confirmed. However, we do have concrete information regarding the cover and some website details to share in the meantime. The artwork features an ominous vibe thanks to its dark color palette and a house that looks abandoned. It’s presumably a trap house that may be taken over by Future based on the pink lights shining through the windows. There’s also an alternate cover with green coloration. As for his website, there’s already shirts, CDs, vinyls, and bundles with tank tops available for pre-order. Given how many bangers he’s put out this year, we hope he will be able to bring that magic to this throwback-like tape.

What are your thoughts on Future announcing the release date and subsequent information about Mixtape Pluto? Do you think this will be his best project of the year, why or why not? Is mixtape Future you favorite version of the Atlanta rapper? Who do you want to see producing and featuring on the project? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Future. Finally, stay with us for everything else going on in the music world.

BlakeIANA Is Becoming A Real “Problem” For The Competition On New Single

It seems that 2024 is the year for the women in hip-hop to either reinstate their dominance or break out. In this case, BlakeIANA fits in the latter category and she’s going to a big “Problem” real soon for the rest of her contemporaries. This is her latest single, and according to a press release, it’s a promotional track for her future mixtape. The details on the project are muddy right now, but her reps are saying it will be out sometime this fall. When it does eventually hit streaming platforms later this year, it will become her first LP of any kind. While we don’t have a lot of concrete information, we can assume that a few past singles will also make it onto the final product.

Her first professional release “BING BONG” is also her first hit record. That has to be a lock given its stature in Blake’s early catalog. The remix with fellow Missouri native Sexyy Red could be included as a bonus track, too. Speaking of Sexyy Red, she brought BlakeIANA on for her Sexyy Red 4 President tour, which just kicked off this past weekend. But back to the potentials, you also have the collabs with Moneybagg Yo and Skilla Baby. Additionally, we would assume that “Stl Finest” and “GAHDAMN” will make their way onto this mixtape. If there is one word to describe BlakeIANA’s style, it would be rugged. She has knack for getting real mean and unapologetic on the mic and that’s what she’s doing on “Problem”. Her confidence is apparent right from the beginning, and it’s deserved given the trajectory she’s on. Check out the track below.

Doechii Shares “BOOM BAP” One Week Ahead Of Her Upcoming Mixtape

It’s a shame that Doechii doesn’t get as much press as some of the other ladies in hip-hop. She might put the blinders on when it comes to that, but we know that she’s a true superstar in the making. It might have to do with the fact that she just doesn’t have as much material as some of her competitors. Heck, even her past EP-like projects have no more than 9 songs on them. However, that is all going to come to an end soon. Next Friday, August 30, the feisty Florida femcee will be sharing a new mixtape, Alligator Bites Never Heal. To promote the project, Doechii is dropping off a new single from it, “BOOM BAP”.

Like previous promo cuts, “BOOM BAP” is another release under Doechii’s Swamp Session series on YouTube. Past inclusions are “BULLFROG”, “CATFISH”, and “NISSAN ALTIMA”. The release date was announced about a week and a half ago and Doechii is looking forward to showing audiences a different side of Florida hip-hop. “I wanted to take my audience to the swamp. Not a lot of people see that very country Florida environment like that… So, I wanted to take them out of the city and show them a country aesthetic”.

A slice of that “aesthetic” is “BOOM BAP”. It’s a well-executed, multi-faceted track that sees Doechii go from “real rap” to a bouncier, house-like vibe about halfway through. This song is essentially a middle finger to those who think she can only create aggressive rap tracks. It’s done to perfection and its building our anticipation for next week.

That a** a magnet, I get it, you know, attractive and s***
I just can’t sing a lil’ bit? I mean, that s*** was a hit
You know exactly what it is, the choir gon’ sing what it is
Top one hundred, what it is? Numero uno, what it is?

OMB Peezy Begins Roll Out For Upcoming Mixtape With “Hallways To Highways Produced By Will-A-Fool

OMB Peezy is gearing up for the release of his upcoming mixtape by presenting its lead single, “Hallways To Highways”. The 27-year-old rapper and singer from Mobile, Alabama will be dropping STILL TOO DEEP sometime in September, according to a press release. Sadly, the exact date is unknown at the time of writing. But with August winding down (already), we should have that piece to the puzzle in the next couple of weeks, hopefully. This project will follow-up on two LPs from 2023, including Le’Paris and Top Kill. The latter of them was a collaborative offering between Peezy and Lil Joc. For “Hallways To Highways”, OMB Peezy is recruiting a platinum artist to tag team this melodic track.

That guest is producer Will-A-Fool. He has worked with plenty of big-ticket rappers throughout his time in the industry, so he’s bringing a lot of experience to the table. Those previous collaborators include Future, Lil Durk, K CAMP, Kevin Gates, YFN Lucci, Rod Wave, and more. His biggest hit he’s probably every assisted was K CAMP’s “Cut Her Off”. Besides Will-A-Fool being able to make beats for these artists, it should be noted that the mixture here is more important. Peezy, like Rod and Lucci, love to sing just as much they like to rap. So, Peezy grabbing Will for this more easy-going, yet personal record makes a lot of sense. Specifically, Peezy talks about his past, friends and family, but he expresses that he doesn’t want to forget them while he’s on the “highways” to fame. You can stream the song with the music video link below to hear what this duo is bringing to the table.

Gucci Mane Announces New Gangsta Grillz Mixtape With DJ Drama And It’s Coming Very Soon

Gucci Mane has grown to become quite the icon in trap music and part of that is due to his extensive mixtape catalog. However, if there’s one thing to know about Guwop, it’s that he will always be ready to drop something new. As it is most of the time with the latter, this will be a Gangsta Grillz tape and fans can expect it Friday, August 16.

These two have plenty of tracks and projects together, so the chemistry should be extremely effortless. Metro Boomin, Zaytoven, Quavo, Quality Control’s CEO, and more were all giving this announcement a stamp of approval. The tracklist sits at 12 songs and includes the singles “Chanel Bag” with JT, and his Diddy diss track, “TakeDat”. Interestingly, this looks to be a two-part release. On Apple Music it shows a separate cover and a much later release date. A 24-track version is apparently coming on October 17, and it looks to include this first set dropping on Friday. Greatest Of All Trappers will follow up on Gucci’s collab effort with B.G. and his 16th studio album, Breath of Fresh Air, both of which were released last year.
