Kendrick Lamar’s Name Mix-Up In New Diss Track “Euphoria” Goes Viral

Earlier today, Kendrick Lamar added yet another captivating chapter to his beef with Drake that first began last month. Drake’s response track “Push Ups” just debuted in the top 20 of the Hot 100 earlier this week. Kendrick saw an otherwise uneventful Tuesday morning as the best time to surprise drop a response track to the song called “euphoria.” The track is more than six minutes and features almost exclusively on tearing Drake down through a variety of different disses. While there are numerous cutting bars and name drops fans have honed in on, one particular mistake has also gotten quite a bit of attention.

In one lyric from the song, Kendrick makes quite a hilarious mix up. “Am I battlin’ ghost or AI? N*gga feelin’ like Joel Osteen, Funny, he was in a film called “AI,” And my sixth sense tellin’ me to off him” a lyric from the song reads. Subsequently, attentive fans noticed right away that he says the wrong name in the track. He’s making a reference to Haley Joel Osment, who acted in the films AI and The Sixth Sense. It’s a sharply written bar referencing Drake’s use of AI to recreate Tupac and Snoop Dogg’s voice in his second Kendrick diss track. Unfortunately, Kendrick confuses Osment for controversial televangelist Joel Osteen. Fans who noticed the mistake quickly took to social media to point it out.

Kendrick Lamar Confuses Child Actor And Televangelist

Elsewhere in the song, Kendrick makes no mistakes about who he’s discussing. He brings up Sexyy Red to make jokes about Drake’s sexuality. He brings up Gunna and references his snitching allegations. And he also mentions Pusha T, who Drake famously beefed with in 2018. Additionally, Kendrick even queried some from Push’s “Story Of Adidon” diss by taking shots at Drake’s fatherhood.

Latto Has Jokes After Fans Catch Her In A Lie

Latto has responded to fans labeling her a liar after her recent post about not trusting anyone who doesn’t use an electric toothbrush. She made the controversial remark in a post on Twitter, earlier this week, prompting plenty of debate between her fanbase.

“Latto, you [are] my fave, but why are you coming at us normal toothbrush people,” one user replied. Another countered with: “If you don’t replace your brush heads as often as you would a regular tooth brush then I don’t trust you.” Others took the comment even more seriously: “I can’t stand when people get money and start judging other people for things they’ve been doing for years. We are judging people for using a manual toothbrush now? If anything, I prefer a manual toothbrush to make sure I’m applying the same amount of pressure to each veneer, I mean tooth,” one Instagram user wrote.

Latto Performs At Wireless Festival

Eventually, one user shared a picture of Latto using a regular toothbrush in a prior social media post. She fired back to the fan with the reply: “Ion trust nobody not even myself so jokes on yall smh.” The admission resulted in her fans sharing jokes in the replies. “Girl they take everything so serious now adays; smh these people ahahha,” one user complained. In other Latto news, she recently shared the single, “Sunday Service.” The track peaked at No. 100 on the US Billboard Hot 100. NLE Choppa Addresses “Gay-Baiting” Claims After Latest “Self Love” Selfie

NLE Choppa has responded to the fans accusing him of “gay-baiting” with his latest selfie. The drama about his sexuality began when he posted a photo of himself kissing his reflection in a mirror with the caption: “I Am Self Love, ALL PRAISES.” When a user on Twitter accused him of acting vague about his sexuality to attract an LGBTQ+ audience, Choppa fired back: “So none of yall kissed yall self in the mirror before? We counting childhood too.”

His fans came to his defense in response to the post as well. One user wrote: “No yall just mad because he comfortable with himself and yall want him to be gay. Just say that.” Another wrote: “He’s comfortable with his sexuality and already said he appreciates the gay community for supporting him. Y’all still wanna drag it.”

It’s far from the first time Choppa has had to speak out on rumors about his sexuality. Back in 2022, he confirmed that he prefers women to men. “First and foremost I love myself and I’m comfortable enough in my skin to show the beauty God blessed me with. Secondly, I LOVE all so I don’t mind attracting both genders, but most importantly my sexual preference is women. Please stop trying to make me something I am not,” NLE Choppa said on Twitter at the time. More recently, he clarified that he exclusively is attracted to women. “I understand me being in love with myself as a BLACKMAN is so RARE to the point some people try putting the homosexual jacket on my name but with all due respect I love ALL, but my intimacy lies with women only.”

Wizkid And Davido Get Into Heated X Exchange Over Who’s Better

There continues to be something in the water in 2024. Beef has been on the menu of just about every major rapper, and now the trend is spilling over into Afrobeat. Wizkid and Davido are two of the biggest Afrobeat artists in the world, and they are not putting up a unified front. In fact, both artists took shots at one another, claiming they are the more important figure within Afrobeat. The whole thing went down on X (formerly Twitter) on April 29.

Wizkid started things off with a subtweet. The “Bad to Me” singer criticized an unnamed artist, claiming they couldn’t touch him in terms of relevance. “U and all ur crew plus ur pant washer song writer go to sleep at night thinking you actually got anything on me in music,” he wrote. The mystery of who he was talking about was quickly solved when Davido got involved. The latter quote tweeted a second message from Wizkid that read: “U know what… no point. Delusional n**gas” with a very pointed response. “We not delusional,” Davido wrote. “You’re a sick man.”

Davido Claimed Wizkid’s Career Was Dead

The two artists continued to trade shots on X into the evening. Wizkid quote tweeted Davido’s response with a video of Davido awkwardly laughing. The latter then took things up a notch by claiming Wizkid is over the hill. “Exactly why I stopped wasting my clout,” he noted. “And jeopardizing millions of my USD on someone whose career was resurrected a few years ago just to die again.” Davido then took a page out of Drake’s book by poking fun at Wizkid’s shoe size. “Size 7 shoe,” he wrote with a laughing emoji. “N**ga shot at footlocker kids.”

Wizkid decided not to take things further, though. He shut down the X exchange then and there by claiming he was over it. “I don tire,” he tweeted. “I dey go sleep. Jesus is King.” Wizkid and Davido have collaborated multiple times over the years, with some of their most notable songs including “My Way” and “Feel (Remix).”

The two artists reportedly had a falling out in 2023, which Davido attributed to the fans during an appearance on Drink Champs. “It actually started with the fans,” he explained. “It was the fans going at it. We was f*cking around and he announced like, ‘Yo, I’m going on tour with Davido next year.’ The fans were so angry.” Regardless of who started it, the beef has become very real.

Drake Shows Off His Singing And Rapping As A 9-Year-Old In Viral Home Video

Drake is the biggest star in all of rap and one of the biggest stars in all of music, but it’s worth remembering he came from pretty humble origins. He’s spawned multiple hits from discussing his come up on songs like “Over” and “Started From The Bottom.” But a recently unearthed video gave fans an even more up close and personal experience with the rapper before he was famous. But it isn’t just Drizzy in his TV actor days, the video goes back even further than that.

A Twitter account called Historic Vids shared a brief 15 second snippet of video that got people talking. In the video Drake shows off his rapping and singing abilities over the music playing in the background. The catch is that it’s the now legendary rapper as a 9-year-old in 1995. The clip racked up more than 33k likes and thousands of retweets in just a few hours as fans couldn’t believe the moment was preserved on film. In the comments they discuss how fascinating it is seeing his interest in music blossoming at such a young age knowing what he would go on to become. As many rap fans have heard, Drake has been attacked on all fronts recently. He’s been called out directly in song by Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross, and Metro Boomin. Meek Mill Theorizes That The Solar Eclipse Is Responsible For The Hate He’s Receiving Online

Meek Mill says that the hate he’s been receiving online might be the result of the recent solar eclipse that took place on April 8. While he couldn’t explain how the two are related, he noted that the backlash he’s been dealing with on the internet began ticking upwards shortly afterward. “The eclipse opened up the portal to everybody that was hating on you to be exposed!” he wrote on Twitter, over the weekend. “Black hatred level went up a few notches in 2024!”

In response, fans brought up the allegations made in Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones Jr.’s lawsuit against Diddy. A claim in the filing about Diddy allegedly having sexual relations with a rapper from Philadelphia prompted the rumors. “Nah bruh they not hating they just sayin u was smashin diddy,” one user replied. Another wrote: “Meek going to extreme levels to cope with the whole Diddy situation lol.”

In more posts the following day, Meek argued that the city of Philadelphia still has his back. He also complained about YouTube’s algorithm allegedly promoting hate against him. He wrote in a pair of tweets: “My city is fully behind me I prolly got a 1000 haters of 1.6 million people! Offset Claps Back At Fan Over Festival Performance Comments

Everybody loves a hype show and rapper’s enjoy flexing the size of their crowds. That’s why fans are no stranger to seeing explosive performance videos with massive crowds shared by artists online. That was the case again with Offset who shared a clip of him performing for an absolutely massive crowd in Romania over the weekend. But when some fans tried to add context to the video the former Migos rapper felt the need to clap back.

“ROCKING SH*T OUT” Offset’s original caption reads attached to an incredibly hype video of his performance. But one fan responds making an important point about the clip. “Lmaooo he acting like that’s his show by his self it’s a festival” a quote tweet from a fan reads. It’s a valid point as he was playing a nighttime set in a day packed absolutely full of music from more than a dozen artists. “Tell me one other artist on here… I’ll wait twin… hate can’t stop me pickup up cake,” the “Worth It” rapper responds. As fans in the comments pointed out, asking his largely American fanbase if they knew the Romanian artists at the festival doesn’t seem like the best test of their popularity. Offset Responds To Alleged Fan Hate

Offset recently jumped on a new remix with somebody who had an eventful night at the Grammys. That somebody is of course Killer Mike, who took home three awards before being arrested backstage. The two Atlanta natives collaborated for a remix of Mike’s song “EXIT 9” from his now Grammy-winning 2023 album MICHAEL. Last month Offset joined Gunna for the second single from his upcoming new album “Prada Dem.”

Kendrick Lamar & Drake Beef: DJ Akademiks Continues Kendrick Criticisms

Everybody in hip-hop has been discussing Kendrick Lamar’s newly sparked beef with Drake and J. Cole for over a month now. It all started when he called out both of the “First Person Shooter” collaborators on Future & Metro Boomin’s “Like That.” The first to respond was J. Cole, though it didn’t seem to go particularly well. He replied with a diss track on his album Might Delete Later and it lives up to its name when he eventually took the song down from streaming services.

But since then Drake has begun quite an assault on all of those that dissed him. While Kendrick remained the primary focus, Drizzy responded to numerous artists who took shots at him in recent weeks including Metro Boomin and Rick Ross, with rumors that it could even also include Future and The Weeknd. But as many expected, Kendrick hasn’t responded. The notoriously private rapper tends to disappear from the public light almost entirely between music releases and tours and has said nothing in response to the diss tracks. DJ Akademiks Keeps Going At Kendrick Lamar

In a new tweet, Akademiks theorizes why there’s been no response. “The new reason y K dot didn’t respond is that he don’t wanna diss Drake now that Kanye jumped in. NIGGA… well y tf did u diss him on an album with bare niggas who intended to diss him thru the whole album. It was cool when it was u metro weeknd future rocky but Kanye Ruined it?” his post reads. Despite his concerns, fans in the comments seem largely okay with Kendrick’s silence.

50 Cent Continues Legal Pursuit Of Former Employee, Seeking To Seize Property

If there’s one thing we’ve learned about 50 Cent recently, it’s that he doesn’t give up. Just ask anyone that the “In Da Club” rapper has decided to target on Instagram. His most notable foe has been Diddy, who he’s been posting about near constantly since the lawsuit Cassie filed against him was made public last year. Unsurprisingly, that included a lot of talk following recent moments like the Lil Rod lawsuit and the federal raids on his properties.

Speaking of property, that’s at the center of a new legal development 50 is pursuing. He’s seeking retribution from a former employee who admitted to financial misconduct that resulted in embezzling money from the rapper’s spirits company Sire. According to All Hip Hop, the battle has been taken to a Connecticut bankruptcy court. The former employee is seeking bankruptcy protections to help keep some of his assets exempt from being turned over to repay Sire Spirits. But 50, or more specifically his lawyers, aren’t backing down from a fight. Check out the full legal details below.

Storme, who previously has claimed to be an ex-best friend of Ice Spice, says Nas copied her “identity” during his Christian era. She also recalled him being “the first major celebrity to discover me.”

Nas eventually caught wind of the accusations and fired back in a post of his own. “I am flattered that you think my outfit was genuinely inspired by your party city monster high dress. Log off the internet and have your psychotic breakdown without an audience like the rest of us baby girl,” he wrote. From there, Storme admitted she only called out Nas to get attention from his fanbase. “I already knew Lil Nas X would be the one celebrity to respond,” she wrote. “I baited him. And it was easy since he is a barb. Thank you for the free promo, Montero! You really put my career on the map now!!”
