Earlier this month, Chrisean Rock was released from prison following a three-month stay. Immediately, she reunited with her son and revealed that her top priority was being a good parent. It appears as though she’s been on the right track since her return home, and even formally changed his name to Chrisean Jesus Porter.
Now, the Baddies star has hopped online to share a clip of herself all made up and sporting a new hairstyle. Clearly, she’s feeling herself, and fans are glad to see her back to business as usual. “My favorite back to herself I love to see this,” one fan writes. “That’s all we want to hear,” another notes.
Chrisean Rock Is Back At It After Getting Out Of Prison
While Chrisean’s supporters are certainly happy for the reality star, not everything in her life has been smooth sailing since her release. Earlier this week, she took to Twitter/X to ask her followers for help finding a good rehab facility for her mother Charla. She claimed that Charla has been struggling with addiction, and offered a prayer for her wellbeing. “Mommy you did ya best I love you I’m praying for restoration I love love love you amen amen amen So do anyone know about any great marriage rehabs in DMV pls Dm them !” she wrote in part.
The father of Chrisean’s child, Blueface, is also currently behind bars. Last month, the “Thotiana” rapper was handed a four-year sentence, and he’s since been moved from the Men’s Central Jail in downtown LA to North Kern State Prison in central California. His new mugshot made its rounds online a few weeks back, showcasing what seems to be a fairly drastic physical transformation. What do you think of Chrisean Rock showing off her post-prison transformation? Are you glad to see her back home? What do you think is next for her? It’s been an undoubtedly hectic few months for Lizzo, but it looks like these days, she’s doing better than ever. Over the weekend, the “Good As Hell” performer has been keeping her social media followers updated on her trip to Bali, which she’s enjoying alongside her good friend SZA. In one clip, shared on Instagram earlier today, she stands in the rain while looking over a balcony, surrounded by greenery. “I’m taking a gap year & protecting my peace [prayer emoji],” she captioned the post.
Fans certainly can’t blame Lizzo for wanting to take some time to relax. It’s far from the only thing she’s done for herself as of late, however. Earlier this month, the hitmaker took to Instagram to share a clip of herself working out at the gym, both before and after nailing a consistent routine.
The before and after video quickly went viral, as fans praised Lizzo for her determination. While it’s unclear exactly what Lizzo means by a gap year in this case, supporters are glad to see a pattern of her prioritizing self-care. Back in May, she opened up about struggling with her mental health, revealing that she was on a better path. “I’m the happiest I’ve been in 10 months,” she explained at the time. “The strange thing about depression is you don’t know you’re in it until you’re out of it. I’m definitely not all the way as carefree as I used to be.. But the dark cloud that followed me every day is finally clearing up. My smile reaches my eyes again and that’s a win. I thought my album was finished.. but I gotta get some of these good vibes off in a banger real quick. Thanks for your patience.”
What do you think of Lizzo announcing that plans to take a “gap year” to focus on her own wellbeing? What about her continuing to show off the impressive results of her fitness journey? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.
Lizzo has been through a social media firestorm over the past couple of years, both for warranted and unwarranted reasons. On that latter point, at least she’s been able to uphold her body positivity standards and continue to share her love for fans through her shapewear brand YITTY and other public statements and initiatives. However, following the singer’s viral fitness transformation video in which she showed off her workout routine, many haters think that she betrayed her own “unhealthy standards” supposedly promoting being “out of shape” or is only getting fit because of cyberbullying. Her fans quickly clapped back at these misconceptions.
But Lizzo isn’t just receiving a lot of defense on her behalf: she’s also defending other criticized public figures. “For everyone saying that Kamala Harris didn’t do anything when she was VP, please, for $5,000. Do not use Google,” she remarked on social media. “Tell me what any vice president has ever done during their term that was notable that you noticed. It’s funny because when Joe Biden was VP, the only things I really remember him doing was making cool videos with Barack.”
Lizzo Fans Come To Her Defense Amid Trolls’ Reactions To Workout Video
Elsewhere, Lizzo also reacted to how other media satirized her body positivity message and her physical transformation, namely a South Park episode. “Guys, my worst fear has been actualized,” she told fans online when she heard that the animated comedy show jabbed at her. “I’ve been referenced in a South Park episode. I’m so scared. I’m gonna blind duet to it right now. Here we go.” After finishing the clip, the Detroit native said the following. “I just feel like, damn, I’m really that b***h.” See more fan reactions to Lizzo’s viral fitness video below.

“I’m really that b***h!” Lizzo exclaimed in the South Park reaction. “I really showed the world how to love yourself and not give a f**k to the point where these… men in Colorado know who the f**k I am and put it on their cartoon that’s been around for 25 years. I’m really that b***h and I showed y’all how not to give a f**k and I’ma keep on showing you how not to give a f**k.”
Late last month, N.O.R.E. took to social media to announce that he’d be growing his hair out in an attempt to beat the “bald” allegations once and for all. Now, the Drink Champs host is proudly sporting his new style, but the transformation is almost too impressive for fans and peers to believe. According to him, however, it’s 100 percent real.
One of the first of N.O.R.E.’s friends to weigh in on his new look was Fat Joe, who seems to have taken a liking to it, based on a recent social media post. N.O.R.E. shared a clip of himself and the rapper on Instagram earlier this week, in which Fat Joe brushes his hair in disbelief. “It’s real!” he repeated. The transformation was even enough to get Fat Joe to consider one of his own, joking that he might head to Turkey sometime soon.
“U know it’s bad when ya best freind / brother don’t belive you and think u went to turkey [crying face emojis] this isn’t right !! This my real sh*t,” N.O.R.E. captioned his post. He later went on to credit an at-home hair dye kit for his revitalized appearance, the same one previously promoted by Fat Joe and DJ Khaled.
His new hair isn’t the only thing N.O.R.E. has changed up about his appearance in recent months, however. Earlier this year, he also opened up about his weight loss journey, revealing that several social media users thought it was too good to be true. He faced accusations of using Ozempic, and even being a clone, but insists it was all thanks to time well spent at the gym. What do you think of N.O.R.E.’s new hair? Do you think Fat Joe should look into hair transformation too? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.
Comethazine is an artist who burst onto the scene back in 2018 with his now-iconic track “Walk.” At the time, the song was known for its incredible music video that came courtesy of Lyrical Lemonade. Furthermore, the track had skeletal production and murderous bars that made the artist come across as a sociopath. Overall, it was a recipe for success that carried over into the artist’s Bawskeeprojects. For five years, Comethazine remained consistent with his craft, until he just up and left with no explanation.
Yesterday, Comethazine made his return to Instagram for the first time in two years. Fans were pretty stunned to hear from him, however, it was nice to know that he’s doing alright. In fact, it appears as though the artist has come through with a rebrand of sorts. He is now rocking a mustache and is dressing like a ’70s rockstar. Additionally, it looks like he’s been taking some guitar lessons. In the video down below, Comethazine can be heard playing a lick, and it sounds pretty amazing.
As you can imagine, social media was flooded with fans who were shocked by the change. When you think about Comethazine’s early work, it’s hard to imagine him pivoting this hard. That said, it is always cool to watch an artist evolve. Clearly, he has a passion for rock, and he wanted to go away for a couple of years to perfect his craft. Hopefully, he follows this up with a new song or even an album in the not-so-distant future. We’d love to know if he is exploring the rock sound further or if he is simply engaging in some well-thought-out promo.

This year, fans have seen some shocking shifts in a few of their favorite hip-hop stars. Whether it’s recovering from controversy, coming back after incarceration, or even converting to Christianity, the future is looking up for this list of figures. Having pushed through adversity and come out stronger on the other side, they surely deserve a nod for their turnarounds.
Turning one’s life around is obviously no easy task, particularly in the spotlight. Changing public perception can often prove to be an even more arduous feat than a personal transformation itself, sometimes meaning a long road to getting credit where it’s due. Regardless, these hip-hop stars appear to be doing better than ever these days, despite their past obstacles.
Angela White FKA Blac Chyna
Angela White, formerly known as Blac Chyna, rose to prominence in the Miami strip club scene, later catapulting to stardom as a video vixen. Eventually, she landed as a businesswoman/ reality star, known in part for her high-profile relationships with Tyga and Rob Kardashian. The D.C. native took quite a journey to get to where she is now, at one point becoming nearly synonymous with the surgically enhanced appearance popularized in the 2010s. This year, however, White decided to go back to her roots, reversing some of her cosmetic procedures and transforming her look dramatically.
Nowadays, the mother of two prioritizes keeping her body healthy, focusing on fitness, and celebrating over one year sober. On top of her physical transformation, White has also leaned into her faith since converting to Christianity in 2022. Ultimately, she decided that sex work is no longer for her, and has opted to let her religion guide her life from now on. While there’s nothing wrong with sex work or cosmetic procedures, White told Page Six that she feels “the best [she’s] felt [her] whole life” since her turnaround. Fans love to see White in her bag her way, reaping the rewards of securing icon status early on.
Gunna got out of prison at the end of last year, following a sweeping indictment that saw the arrest of him, along with 24 other YSL affiliates, Young Thug included. He signed a plea deal on the day of his release, prompting countless fans and peers to speculate that he turned his back on his co-defendants. As Young Thug remains behind bars, the Georgia hip-hop star has been a major target for “snitching” allegations, which he’s seemingly denied multiple times in his music.
He dropped his album A Gift & a Curse back in June, hinting at the rumors being false on various tracks. The album has performed well, and managed to earn him back some respect among listeners. It even scored him a nomination at the 2024 Grammys, notably hushing his critics. Not everyone is back on Gunna’s team these days, but in a genre where loyalty rules, his turnaround is impressive, to say the least.
B.G.
This year, B.G. became a free man after spending over a decade behind bars on gun and conspiracy charges. The 43-year-old hasn’t wasted any time since his release, reuniting with old friends and collaborators following his lengthy prison stay. He’s already dropped projects with Boosie Badazz, Mike WiLL Made-It, and more, and is only looking forward to adding to his discography. He even told 2 Chainz back in September that he’s planning on unleashing “seven, eight” albums in the near future, wanting nothing else but to “flood the streets” with new music.
While surely his turnaround hasn’t been easy, the New Orleans-born hip-hop artist seems to have a solid support system of people who want him to succeed. At this point, aside from releasing music, B.G. is focused on keeping on the straight and narrow, ensuring that he won’t be returning to the lifestyle that landed him in prison. “I’m not letting nobody rob me of my productivity, prosperity, positivity and peace of mind,” he told followers in September. “13 years was more [than] enough time for me to change the reckless path I was on.“
This year, Chrisean Rock welcomed her first child Chrisean Jr. with her ex Blueface. The new mother has been a frequent target of criticism pertaining to her parenting skills, relationships, and more. While she continues to go back and forth with the “Thotiana” performer online and engage in some other questionable behavior now and then, there’s no doubt that there’s been a notable turnaround in the Baddies star’s lifestyle.
On top of caring for Jr., Chrisean has also called on her faith in recent months, and continually expresses a desire to do better for the sake of her child. Nowadays, the Baltimore hip-hop artist seems to do her best to avoid the pitfalls she’s been victim to in the past, moving towards a more stable future for herself and her little one. Chrisean isn’t always successful when it comes to dodging controversy, but fans can agree that the addition of her son to her life has been overwhelmingly positive.
The last time we reported on 23-year-old 9lokkNine was at the end of December 2021. Back then is when he was sentenced to seven years behind bars. The rapper was booked on federal charges of Possession of an Unregistered Firearm, Aggravated Identity Theft, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Ammunition, as XXL reports. On top of serving time, 9lokk will also be required to live under supervised release and drug treatment for an additional three years and pay $10,416 in restitution.
It’s been relatively quiet on his front since he went away. However, on Thursday (May 25), an Instagram fan account dedicated to the artist lit up with some new photos of him. “But You Know I Hold On Staying Strong I Keep My Helmet High ,” they wrote in the caption. In a series of photos, we see 9lokk kicking it with fellow inmates, all wearing matching sweatsuits and sneakers. The most obvious difference in the young star’s appearance is his hair, which he’s begun growing into an afro.
Aside from that, he’s also obviously had time to hit the gym in the last year and a half, as his figure is substantially bulkier than before he went away. Apart from the aforementioned charges, 9lokkNine is also accused of allegedly shooting a gun into an Orlando home in July of 2021. For this, he’s facing attempted second-degree murder, as authorities believe he was targeting another rapper at the time. A woman and her children were inside at the time, but thankfully, no one was harmed.
At the time, a witness told detectives that the “Crayola artist” wanted to be “the only rapper coming from Orlando. He previously rose to fame with projects like Loyalty Kill Love and Mind of Destruction. While he reportedly landed a deal with Cash Money Records, nothing ultimately came of it before his arrest. After celebrating her 35th birthday earlier this week, Blac Chyna – now known as Angela White – seems to have raised her vibration higher than ever before. In the months leading up to the big day, the reality star underwent several major procedures, including the removal of her butt injections and a reduction of her previously augmented breasts. On top of that, she had her Baphomet tattoo removed and visited a cosmetician to have her facial filler dissolved. While she still looks recognizable, there are distinguishable differences to Chyna’s new face and body that seem to have left her feeling confident.
To kick off her weekend, the mother of two shared a photo dump on Instagram, breaking down the difference in her face now to how it appeared after having some work done. In recent interviews, Chyna has compared herself to Jigsaw from the Saw franchise with so many injectables and many people online couldn’t help but agree. Now that she’s moved on from that chapter of her life, the Washington, D.C.-born entertainer is able to look back and laugh at her past decisions, encouraging her millions of followers to do the same. “Bruh please slide,” she wrote in the caption of her before-and-after post.
After showing off her transformation, White included a video message addressing those who have supported her through her recent changes. “Yo, why I was looking at old pictures you guys… That face was looking crazy. Like, that first picture? That was a few months before I took out all the filler,” she explained before turning the camera to give a close-up of her new side profile. “I look so much better,” she declared. “Like, ladies… That ain’t the way! The lips have went down, thank God. I love you guys,” Chyna quickly added before the clip cut off.
The former OnlyFans creator isn’t the only member of her family to switch up their look lately. In honour of her daughter’s birthday, Tokyo Toni got the model’s legal name, “Angela,” tattooed on her chest. Do you prefer Blac Chyna’s new appearance over her previously injection-filled face? When Jordyn Woods found herself cast outside the Kardashian-Jenner social circle as a result of sharing a smooch with Tristan Thompson, some speculated that the socialite’s career was over. The world previously best knew her as Kylie Jenner’s best friend. Though that came with some opportunities of its own, none of them gave her the chance to shine in the spotlight like her BFF. Since their “breakup” however, Woods has only gone on to soar to new heights in her career – and pin down one of the NBA’s most eligible bachelors.
She and Karl-Anthony Towns have been romantically involved for several years now, after previously spending plenty of time getting to know one another as friends. Aside from being #couplegoals for the world, Woods has also stepped up in her role as a businesswoman, recently launching her own Woods by Jordyn clothing brand. With so much on her plate, the California native has also found time to focus on her body, which has become notably slimmer following the end of her friendship with Jenner.
In her younger years, Jordyn still had some of her childhood baby fat hanging on, but at 25, she’s stepping more into her adult body after undergoing “second puberty,” as it’s infamously known. Of course, as a young, wealthy, social media star, Woods also has access to countless cosmetic procedures and drugs to enhance her appearance, which some users are speculating may have played a role in her drastic physical transformation. Specifically, they’re crediting Ozempic (allegedly used by stars like Mindy Khaling and Kim Kardashian) as the secret behind her slim thick figure.
“All the celebs, even regular [people] are on Ozempic,” one Instagram user ranted in the model’s comment section. “When do you stop taking Ozempic?” someone else asked. Thankfully for her sanity, just as many fans are showering the young reality star with love, letting her know that they’ve seen the hard work she’s been putting in on her image. Are you a fan of Jordyn’s new appearance? Let us know in the comments, and tap back in with HNHH later for more pop culture/hip-hop news updates.
