Canelo Alvarez Tells Haters He’s Still “In His Prime”

Canelo Alvarez hit back at recent claims that he’s over the hill. “I feel fresh. I feel in my prime,” he told TMZ this week. Furthermore, Canelo revealed that he actually fought his last fight while injured. “I had a little injury on my hand [that was] slowing me down a little bit, but you will see Saturday night.” This weekend, Canelo takes on Jermell Charlo in one of the hottest fights of the year. It’s the first time in boxing’s four-belt era that two reigning undisputed champions will face off. The bout is taking place at 185 lbs (super middleweight), which is a two-division jump for the junior middleweight Charlo.

There is history on the line for both fighters. If Canelo wins, he’ll be the first boxer of the four-belt era to mount three consecutive defenses of a unified title. Meanwhile, Charlo could take Canelo’s titles and become just the fourth boxer in history in a fight two divisions up. The other fighters who have achieved such a feat are Sugar Ray Leonard, Thomas Hearns, and Roy Jones Jr.. The fight goes down in Vegas on Saturday night.

Canelo Has No Interest In Jake Paul

While few people are thinking about the future before this fight goes down, there is one person Canelo will never fight. After he beat Nate Diaz last month, Jake Paul attempted to call out Canelo. However, the veteran fighter has absolutely no interest in battling the internet personality. “My level is other level,” Canelo told Mirror Fighting. “But look, I think he needs to enjoy what he’s doing, and that’s it. He needs to calm down and start calling out people with other levels. I think he needs to focus on what he’s doing. He’s doing good things.”

Álvarez clarified, stating that Paul needs to continue fighting people like Diaz for the being. Paul is 7-1 in his professional boxing career. However, only one of those fights, his sole loss, has come against an experienced professional boxer. His other six fights have been against a YouTuber and four MMA fighters. Previously, Álvarez said “I truly believe that it’s a lack of respect. It’s all based on money. It’s all for money,” in 2020 when discussing the Paul Brothers with TMZ.

That would happen to be another big-time pairing of Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner. The actor and model duo have been together since early to mid April and their adoration for one another only continues to grow.

Unfortunately, they have had to deal with a lot of outside noise and speculation. More specifically, there have been rumors that the two split or have thought about it at least, but those comments are no more. Paparazzi asked Chalamet about the relationship and all he did was smile. Other than that, both seem to be enjoying their time together anytime they are in public. Recently, they were at the US Open Tennis Championship sharing some smooches.

DJ Paul Reveals He Was With Krayzie Bone Just One Day Prior To Being Hospitalized

According to DJ Paul, things seemed to be going fine with Krayzie Bone. So much so, that the duo was in the studio together just a day before the scary news that the Cleveland native went to the hospital. The rapper suffers from a rare disease called sarcoidosis. It is described as an inflammatory disease that causes the organs to become covered in lumpy nodes called granuloma. Luckily, they are not cancerous, according to Mayo Clinic. “They are a defensive mechanism that triggers the body to “wall off” foreign invaders such as bacteria or fungi to keep them from spreading,” according to their website.

He was coughing up blood due to a leaky lung artery and unfortunately, the emergency surgery was unsuccessful. TMZ reported that he is going to be having another surgery soon as he is currently being sedated as well. These are scary and heartbreaking times right now, and we wish the best for Krayzie and his family and friends. What makes this even more saddening is that he and DJ Paul were just in the studio the day before.

TMZ shared that the Memphis and Cleveland icons were cooking up some great tracks together. Apparently, a collaboration project is coming and it has been highly awaited by fans. Paul was frankly stunned when he found out that Krayzie was rushed to the hospital. However, he thinks that he will be back soon and will recover just fine. We certainly hope that is the case as he continues to fight for his life.

Chandler Jones Swears That He Was Forced Into A Mental Hospital And Given Unknown Substance

It seems that the Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders organization cannot get righ. From Jon Gruden to Henry Ruggs III speeding on the highway, and Damon Arnette waving guns on social media, there is always something wrong. Now, there is Chandler Jones’s behavior that has seen him spiral out of control. At the beginning of September Jones claimed the Raiders sent a “crisis team” to his home saying he was in danger.

Jones thought it was nonsense and he remains confused as to why he is not a part of the team. On top of that, he ranted that he did not want to play for the organization, according to TMZ Sports. He went off on Instagram stories, saying, “They won’t let me in the building tho, tryna provoke a n****.” He went on further, “F*** it, I don’t wanna play for the Raiders.” Now, we just learned more from TMZ Sports that he was forced into a mental hospital.

According to the report, Chandler was told by the Las Vegas Fire Department to come with them against his will. In his Twitter post, he shared some journal entries where he said he was injected with a substance he had never seen or heard of before. Additionally, he was transferred to a second mental hospital. Jones also feels that whoever was behind this was not doing it for the right reasons. Finally, he claims that he contacted the Raiders to help him but to no avail. Surely, there will be more to come on this bizarre and messy situation.

Lizzo’s Team Responds To Newest Workplace Lawsuit

Lizzo fans once again woke up to another surprise today as the singer has been hit with yet another lawsuit relating to her workplace conduct. This time, fashion designer and former tour employee Asha Daniels is making accusations about her workplace culture. In the lawsuit itself she describes the grueling 20 hour work days. She also explains that she witnessed both racism and fatphobia often. She also sat down to talk with NBC News about her experienced in more detail.

“I felt like I was living in a madhouse,” she reported. “It was totally shocking… I was listening to this Black woman on this huge stage have this message of self-love and caring for others and being empathetic and being strong and standing up for others. And I was witnessing myself, the dancers and the background vocalists and my local team in every city be harassed and bullied regularly.” Unlike the previous lawsuit which saw her legal team taking days to respond, Lizzo’s legal team had a response ready.

Lizzo’s legal team spoke to TMZ shortly after the allegations leaked. “As Lizzo receives a Humanitarian Award tonight from the Black Music Action Coalition for the incredible charitable work she has done to lift up all people, an ambulance-chasing lawyer tries to sully this honor by recruiting someone to file a bogus, absurd publicity-stunt lawsuit who, wait for it, never actually met or even spoke with Lizzo. We will pay this as much attention as it deserves. None.”

The statement sees her legal team once again deploying the tactic of downplaying the legitimacy of the accuser’s claims. They were criticized by the defendants in the previous lawsuit for a similar response downplaying their initial allegations. As the statement reads, Lizzo is set to receive a humanitarian award from the Black Music Action Coalition during their annual gala tonight. The pair have been spotted together often and made what many thought was their debut as a couple at a Beyonce show earlier this month. Despite the pair’s relationship lasting months now they have been subject to repeated rumors of either a breakup, or never having been that serious of a couple in the first place.

But when given the chance to clarify, Timothee Chalamet could only smile at the mention of Kylie. When TMZ cameras caught up with Chalamet they asked him questions like “Are you happy in the relationship?” While he’s clearly trying to ignore them, it seems like he can’t help but crack a smile at the thought of his romance with Kylie. Lamar Odom Involved In Car Crash, Smashes Up His Mercedes

Lamar Odom was involved in a car accident early Monday morning in a residential area near his home in Los Angeles. According to TMZ, Odom dropped his phone in the car while driving home from a friend’s place in Northridge. While reaching around to find it, he lost control and swerved into a parked car around 3:00 AM.

He hit the parked vehicle with enough force to propel it into another stationary car. The airbags deployed, but he wasn’t injured nor did he request medical assistance. As visible in TMZ’s photos of the accident, his white Mercedes is quite banged up.

The Los Angeles Police Department didn’t take a report while responding to the scene. Odom apparently explained he hadn’t been drinking and even owns his own rehab facilities. They did not feel the need to perform a field sobriety test and left after watching everyone involved exchange insurance information.

While he was sober during the recent incident, Odom has been vocal about his struggles with substance abuse in the past. Back in 2015, the former Los Angeles Lakers star was hospitalized after overdosing at a legal brothel in Crystal, Nevada. He reportedly suffered kidney failure, several heart attacks, and 12 strokes, and was placed on life support before regaining consciousness. He and Khloe Kardashian had been going through the process of divorce at the time. In the wake of the incident, Khloe withdrew her filing, although had no intention of reconciling with Odom. After getting clean, Odom referred to himself as a “walking miracle” who had “cheated death.” He also admitted to US Weekly that his drug use made “the end of [his basketball] career come along a little faster.”

Audio Of 911 Call Made After Blueface Stabbing Released

TMZ has obtained the call made to 911 after rapper Blueface was stabbed at a gym last month. The incident was used to hype up an episode of Crazy In Love while also forcing Blueface to postpone an October boxing match. However, the 911 audio paints a slightly chaotic picture. The person who called the emergency services appears to be the owner of the gym in question. After telling the dispatch operator that someone “stabbed my client”, there appears to be a breakdown in communication.

The audio clip appears to show the owner of Kaminsky Boxing Club being unable to properly hear the dispatcher’s questions. This leads the man to grow frustrated with the operator and demand that they send paramedics “pronto”. His frustration continues to grow as the dispatcher attempts to stick to protocol and go through their standard dispatch questions. However, emergency services were eventually dispatched and the assailant, Brandon Henry Snell, was quickly arrested. Furthermore, Blueface appears to be recovering well from the leg injury he sustained during the altercation.

Blueface Facing Trouble Of A Different Kind

Away from the fallout of his gym stabbing, Blueface has been facing legal trouble of a different kind. Earlier this week, the rapper claimed that Child Protective Services had paid a visit to his home. The visit was over concerns about the welfare of his son, Javaughn. Per the allegations, an investigation was opened due to Javaughn being seen around strippers and being placed in other adult situations.

Seemingly as a result of this, Blueface and his mother have tried to shift focus onto Chrisean Rock. Rock is continuing her post-natal recovery after giving birth to Blueface’s son, Chrisean Jr. Blueface has taken shots at Rock for working out and meeting with fans so soon after the child’s birth. Meanwhile, fans online lashed out at Rock for taking her son to a football game so soon after he was born. It appears that neither parent in this increasingly bitter relationship can find themselves on the parenting high ground for very long.

Jay Rock Shares Update On Black Hippy, Leaving The Door Open For A Reunion

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen them reunite on wax, but Black Hippy remains one of the most revered rap groups of the past few decades. Moreover, the TDE alumni (consisting of Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, ScHoolboy Q, and Kendrick Lamar) is still tight despite radio silence on release fronts– according to Rock. TMZ recently caught up with the California rapper and asked him about what the legendary collective is up to. It’s a question that fans often ask, and recently actually received an update on courtesy of label boss Top Dawg. Regardless of the hype, it seems from the 38-year-old’s words that they’re still tight, but probably won’t drop something anytime soon.

Specifically, he said that he and Kendrick are still cool despite him leaving the label, and that the same goes for the other members of Black Hippy. In addition, Jay Rock highlighted ScHoolboy Q’s upcoming release, his own, and Ab-Soul’s recently released HERBERT. With that in mind, the Watts native suggested that everyone’s too busy to work on something together. However, he didn’t close the door on it, either, so maybe he just had to be tight-lipped to not spoil the surprise.

Of course, a new Black Hippy song, album, or something else altogether sounds way too good to be true. It’s one of those 2010s hip-hop myths that seemed more and more unlikely as each MC’s career progressed. Not only that, but there’s already plenty of material between each other to enjoy, so this isn’t as mythical or awaited as some other dream rap collabs. While it’s disheartening to hear that what we have is all we’ll get, we’ve gotten no such confirmation of that from any of these artists. Still, with only teases in mind, it’s hard not to be a little skeptical.

Most importantly, each artist is still dead-set on crafting their path with patience and skill. Rock recently dropped his new single “Too Fast (Pull Over)” with Anderson .Paak and Latto, and his next album’s soon to come. All we can ask for is that they don’t forget about each other and their chemistry, whether in ten days or ten years. Kanye West Wanted His Home To Have No Electricity Or Windows

Despite popping up occasionally in some NSFW moments with wife Binaca Censori around Italy, Kanye West has transitioned into living a mostly private life. Some of the only times we get details into his strange world is through the court system. Previously the rapper has been subject to plenty of lawsuits in recent years. They’ve been related to workspaces for his GAP collaboration, his DONDA Academy schools, and more. Now a new lawsuit comes from a man who was fired by West for failing to perform some strange requests while remodeling his home.

According to TMZ, Tony Saxon is now suing Kanye West. Saxon was reportedly hired in 2021 to serve as the project manager on a remodel of West’s Malibu home. He was while also serving as caretaker and security for the property. In the lawsuit there are plenty of alarming details about interactions between the pair. Saxon claims that he worked 16-hour days on the property and was only paid for one week of work in two months. Things reached a climax when West asked Saxon to remove all the windows and electricity from the property and bring in large generators instead. Saxon expressed concern for the safety issues and fire hazards the plan would create and refused. Consequently he was fired by West. In his lawsuit, he’s asking for damages and unpaid wages for various labor code violations.

If that sounds familiar, it’s because windows have been involved in previous lawsuits made against West. A lawsuit made over West’s DONDA Academy claimed that the school didn’t have any windows. It was reportedly left that way because the rapper “did not like glass.”
