Lil Wayne And Snoop Dogg Are Working With Tiffany Haddish On Her New Music
Tiffany Haddish is already a well-established actress, comedian, and now, author, but soon, she is looking to take over the music world as well. The star has been spotted in the studio with other veteran stars like Lil Wayne and Snoop Dogg. In a new interview with TMZ to discuss her children’s book, Layla, the Last Black Unicorn, she also discussed her plans for her music, which she says she originally wanted to only put in her movie projects until she found that sync licensing for previously released music is much more lucrative.

When the show’s hosts asked about whether or not Haddish has been able to work with Beyonce, she played “coy,” as they described. “We’ll see what God has in store,” she replied. “That would be amazing, wouldn’t it?” She admitted that she “would love” to do a song with Beyonce, but since she’s “only seen her at parties,” don’t hold your breath for a T-Haddish featuring Beyonce track anytime soon. Predicting her music’s release, she said, “My goal is to make the music and put it in my movies and TV shows… if I put my music in it, I’m in it… but I just heard yesterday that if I release the music on the airwaves — put it out there for purchase — then when I put it in my show they gotta pay me like $35,000 or something like that. I guess I’m a drop that sh*t today!” However, she did admit she didn’t want to compete with Kendrick Lamar, who just released his new album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.

Pinket who announced shaving her head because she suffered from alopecia (which was the cause of her hair loss) in December didn’t think the joke was so funny, Haddish who has worked alongside Smith in ‘Girls Trip’ was spotted talking to Pinkett Smith during a commercial break at the Oscars following the incident. That meant so much to me,” Haddish told People magazine (via EW) after the Oscars. “As a woman, who has been unprotected, for someone to say like, ‘Keep my wife’s name out your mouth, leave my wife alone,’ that’s what your husband is supposed to do, right? Protect you. And that meant the world to me. And maybe the world might not like how it went down, but for me, it was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen because it made me believe that there are still men out there that love and care about their women, their wives.” And that’s their friend,” Haddish added of Rock. “As a friend, why would you do that? He didn’t even run the joke by her, but she was hurt, though. If she wouldn’t have been hurt, he probably wouldn’t have said anything. But you could see he was clearly … And they exploited it. Reactions continue to pour in from the slap heard around the world delivered by Will Smith to Chris Rock. The latest is from Tiffany Haddish, Jada Pinkett Smith’s Girls Trip co-star, who state the moment was the “most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.”
PEOPLE mag caught up with Haddish after the ceremony and asked her opinion.
“When I saw a Black man stand up for his wife. That meant so much to me,” Haddish said. “As a woman, who has been unprotected, for someone to say like, ‘Keep my wife’s name out your mouth, leave my wife alone,’ that’s what your husband is supposed to do, right?
