Sarah Paulson And Pedro Pascal Are Entangled In A Friendly Feud Over Who Beyoncé Actually Blew A Kiss To

Does Beyoncé’s air kisses send Hollywood stars into a frenzy? According to the latest episode of The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, the answer is yes. On March 29, Sarah Paulson made the comical confession when she dropped by the late-night staple.

Paulson conveyed her love for the “Levii’s Jeans” singer’s new album, Cowboy Carter. But her admiration for Beyoncé long predates its release. In fact, in 2023, Paulson even attended the Renaissance World Tour. During the performance, Beyoncé blew a kiss at her while suspended above the crowd. However, the only problem is Pedro Pascal (who was nearby) thinks it was actually intended for him. Thus, a friendly feud has been ignited.

“Beyoncé was flying overhead as she does, ’cause she’s God incarnate,” she said. “She blew a kiss in my direction, and I believe it was to me, and Pedro thinks it was to him. He’s the most famous man in the world right now, so he believes everything is happening for him. Can I have one thing?”

Well, there’s only one way to resolve this dilemma. Both Sarah Paulson and Pedro Pascal need to secure tickets to Beyoncé’s rumored upcoming Cowboy Carter World Tour. Beyoncé can then decide the true winner.

Pedro Pascal Couldn’t Help But Stop In His Tracks To Admire Ciara’s Beauty On The 2024 SAG Awards Carpet

Forever” singer Ciara’s post-baby bouncebacks are always mind-blowing to see. After welcoming her fourth child in December, Ciara is already back to sporting stunning hip-hugging looks at industry events.

Yesterday (February 24), during the 2024 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, her husband, Russell Wilson, and viewers at home weren’t the only people in awe of The Color Purple star’s beauty. In fact, users online pointed out that Pedro Pascal stopped in his tracks to admire Ciara on the pre-ceremony carpet.

In a video clip originally captured by E! and reposted by a fan page, folks across X (formerly Twitter) joked about what Pascal’s intrusive thoughts are tempting him to say.

“Pedro was wondering if Russell [Wilson] can fight,” wrote one user.

“Oh honey, he was mesmerized,” penned another.

“Every gay man chooses a diva to imprint on. It’s clear he chose her 👀😂,” joked a user.

Although Ciara didn’t take home the SAG Award, she didn’t let that stop her from enjoying the career milestone with a fabulous post on Instagram. “My 1st SAG Award Nomination #TheColorPurple,” she wrote. “Let’s Go🤘🏽.”

But something Ciara did celebrate at the event was the upcoming 20th anniversary of her debut studio album, Goodies. While chatting with E! correspondent and actress Lavern Cox, Ciara talked about what that meant to her. “It’s a blessing to me,” she said. “To know that I was a baby [when that dropped] and I’m still dreaming big and living my dreams out…it motivates me so much”.”

Bad Bunny Hilariously Addressed NBC’s ‘Speaking In Non-English’ Controversy In His ‘Saturday Night Live’ Opening Monologue

Bad Bunny pulled double duty tonight (October 21) on Saturday Night Live, as both the host and the musical performer for this week’s episode. His new album title, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va A Pasar Mañana, translates to “Nobody Knows What’s Going To Happen Tomorrow,” but we can bet this record will bring in a promising season in his career.

Kicking off the show with a bang, Bad Bunny delivered a humorous opening monologue, during which, he assured the audience that he is capable of hosting the show in both English in Spanish.

“I can order McDonald’s in English, I can have sex in English, but I prefer sex in Spanish,” Bunny said.

He continued, delivering his monologue in Spanish, and during this portion, a subtitle reading “Speaking In Non-English” appeared on-screen. This alludes to a situation last season, when Pedro Pascal was hosting, and delivering his opening monologue in Spanish. The subtitles read “Speaking In Non-English,” to the chagrin of Spanish speakers.

Bunny was not having this, and immediately asked the powers that be to make the necessary corrections.

The subtitle then read “Speaking In Sexier Language.”

Shortly after, Pascal himself made a surprise appearance in the monologue.

Tonight marks the Puerto Rican superstar’s first time hosting SNL, his second time as the show’s musical guest, and his third overall appearance. In April 2020, Bunny appeared in a special “at-home” episode of SNL at the early onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, and performed as the musical guest in a February 2021 episode, with Bridgerton actor Regé-Jean Page hosting.

You can see Bad Bunny’s full opening monologue above.

Pedro Pascal Stars In Trailer For Western “Strange Way Of Life”

If you’ve been on social media in the last 6 months, you have a pretty good idea about who Pedro Pascal is. The actor has been fairly successful for much of his career. However, he has experienced quite an explosion in popularity recently. This is likely due in part to his roles in Disney’s The Mandalorian and HBO’s The Last of Us. However, many have been fans of Pascal’s work for decades. The actor even had a very memorable turn on Game of Thrones long before the series went off the rails.

Earlier this year, Pascal had the honor of hosting the legendary Saturday Night Live. Before his turn on the sketch comedy show, he stopped by The Tonight Show. There, he spoke at length about his feelings with SNL vet Jimmy Fallon. “I think it’s the top of everybody’s bucket list. I am scared,” he said. “There’s like a wall of sheer terror I think that you start with. And then it’s such a well-oiled machine, everybody’s so amazing and talented… and they take these, you know, blocks of white-hot terror apart for you with big cue cards.” Now, Pascal is headed to the wild west.

Pascal And Hawke: An Unlikely Pairing

The official trailer for Pedro Almodóvar’s Strange Way of Life was released on Wednesday. It is described as a queer Western romance. The 30-minute film stars Pedro Pascal, fresh off of his starring role in The Last of Us. It also stars Ethan Hawke, who recently played a critically acclaimed role in the horror film Black Phone. The story of Strange Way of Life revolves around the complicated romance between two cowboys who reunite after two decades apart.

In an interview with the Cannes Film Festival, Oscar-winning filmmaker Almadóvar provided a synopsis of the film. The story begins when Silva, played by Pedro Pascal, rides his horse across the desert. At his destination, he meets his friend, Sheriff Jake, played by Ethan Hawke. The two have not seen each other for 25 years. They enjoy the reunion, but it is soon revealed that there is more to the visit than a friendly reminiscence of time gone by. What do you think of the new trailer? Let us know in the comments!

Pedro Pascal Proves He’s A Diehard Rihanna Stan: Watch

If there’s one celebrity who has no shortage of admirers right now, it’s Rihanna. The 35-year-old’s year began with her highly anticipated return to performing during the Super Bowl Halftime show. While many expected her to give us an album or tour announcement at the same time, she instead revealed that A$AP Rocky will be a father for the second time in the coming months. Despite the fact that she and the rapper are obviously very happy together, many men continue to fantasize about RiRi.

It seems that’s exactly what Pedro Pascal was doing at Sunday (March 12) night’s Academy Awards, where he was caught on camera asking about the Bad Gal multiple times. In one clip, The Last of Us actor gets obviously distracted while chatting with Amelia Dimoldenberg of Chicken Shop Date fame. Just seconds in, he avoids her question to excitedly ask instead, “Is that Rihanna?!”

Pedro Pascal Has Rihanna on the Brain

When the journalist says no, Pascal’s energy instantly focuses back on the present moment. “Well, maybe… Is it?” Dimoldenberg asks before the answer is revealed. According to Uproxx, it was actually Saweetie, and not Rihanna, who the 47-year-old spotted at the event. Surprisingly, that isn’t the only time he brought the soon-to-be mother of two up in his red-carpet interviews.

“Is Rihanna performing?” the Chile-born star asked another correspondent ahead of the Academy Awards. “I don’t think Rihanna’s performing, I mean that would be a nice surprise,” they incorrectly told Pascal. “But she is coming because she’s nominated,” they confirmed.

And perform, she did. For the second time this year, the Barbadian-born singer left audiences amazed with her vocal talent. The maturity is more evident in her voice than ever before, and she looked radiant in a black and silver outfit that gave us a peek at her growing baby bump. Catch a video of Rihanna’s emotional Oscars show below, and tell us what you thought of this year’s award ceremony in the comments.

Just The Thought That He Maybe Saw Rihanna At An Oscars Event Left ‘The Last Of Us’ Star Pedro Pascal Stunned

Pedro Pascal had a big day yesterday (March 12). Aside from the Season 1 finale of The Last Of Us debuting last night, the actor was also a presenter at the Academy Awards, where his sister Javiera Balmaceda (Amazon’s head of Originals, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, and Chile for Prime Video) was on hand to represent the Oscar-nominated Argentina, 1985. There were a ton of stars on hand for both the actual Oscars ceremony and for the Vanity Fair afterparty, and at the latter, Pascal was momentarily immobilized when he thought he saw Rihanna.

Towards the start of a red-carpet interview with Chicken Shop Date host Amelia Dimoldenberg, as the two exchanged opening pleasantries, Dimoldenberg asked Pascal how he’s doing. As she asked the question, though, Pascal’s demeanor became more serious and distant as he looked off behind Dimoldenberg. After pausing for a few seconds, he asked, “Is that Rihanna?”

(It was not Rihanna he saw from behind, but rather, Saweetie.)

Dimoldenberg quipped that if it was Rihanna, Pascal should abandon the interview and go introduce himself. Pascal responded, “I will literally shove you out of the way.” Dimoldenberg said she’d do the same thing in his shoes and he replied, “If you didn’t do it, I wouldn’t understand.”

Pascal very clearly had Rihanna on the brain all night: In an earlier red-carpet interview at the actual Oscars with Ashley Graham, Pascal spoke about what he was looking forward to that night. He said he was happy to support his sister and to just watch the show before asking, “Is Rihanna performing?”

Rihanna, by the way, did perform.

Pedro Pascal On “Hot Ones”: Actor Discusses “The Last Of Us” And “Game Of Thrones” Roles

Claded in a hot red casual suit, Pedro Pascal feasted on a bunch of spicy chicken wings as he answered questions about the process of making TV shows like The Last of Us, Game of Thrones, and The Mandalorian. The Chile-born actor awed fans on Hot Ones, expressing composure as though he wasn’t devouring fiery food. Sean Evans, the show’s host firstly began by welcoming the 47-year-old actor on the show. His guest replied, “Thank you for having me. I’m so glad for the opportunity to finally be taken seriously for once.”

As he spoke about some of his most recent acting projects, Pascal described his creative sci-fi partner, Grogu, aka Baby Yoda in Disney’s original Star Wars series as a very cooperative and fulfilling partner. He went on to admit that it was pretty crazy having to say goodbye to his friend in season two. Elsewhere in the interview, we heard about the beloved actor’s childhood and his love for the theater.

Pedro Pascal’s Childhood and the Theater

Brushing through his family’s relocation to California at a young age, the actor talked about his time at the South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, There, his mother enrolled him in the community theater. Clearly, this push from his family matriarch lead Pascal down the right path, as he’s now one of Hollywood’s most beloved heroes.

Talking a bit about his knowledge of the making of heavily costumed movie scenes, Pascal mentioned the disdain he feels while watching a movie where he can pinpoint some excesses. He additionally described the infamous bloody scenes from Game of Thrones in which his eyes were brutally gouged out. Elsewhere, he shared that the final laps of Equalizer were the most relaxing, and he was able to catch up on some quality sleep.

On social media so far, fans of the foreign star are commending his composure while chowing down on hot wings with Sean Evans. Which of Pedro Pascal’s previous roles has been your favourite? The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 1 Review: Up To Lightspeed

The Mandalorian Season 3 has just dropped on Disney+. Unlike Netflix and other streaming services, Disney offers things in weekly format. This rewards patience and engrosses an audience far longer than the typical binge model.

As a result, the first episode of the Pedro Pascal-starring show arrived on Wednesday. The Mandalorian, Grogu and company were finally back on-screen for the first time since Season 2 ended in December of 2020 and since a few characters were seen at the end of The Book of Boba Fett.

The first episode drew viewers back in but didn’t offer much otherwise. A lot has happened and Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni decided to dedicate this episode to bringing viewers up to (light) speed and setting the plot in motion (spoilers for all episodes of The Mandalorian ahead).

The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 1 recap

Mando, as he’s affectionately called, is reunited with Grogu. The latter spent two years (as Favreau recently confirmed is the timeline) training with Luke Skywalker before choosing to pursue a Mandalorian lifestyle with Din Djarin.

The iconic duo head back to Nevarro, the same place Greef Karga has been operating in since the beginning. This time, it looks like a respectable planet and Karga is now High Magistrate.

Djarin wants to rebuild the only droid he’s ever trusted- IG-11. The droid that (spoilers) sacrificed himself to save the bounty hunter and Grogu has a statue made out of the remaining parts.

Djarin, who needs to find the cleansing waters of the Mandalorian mines, needs a droid to help him scout the destroyed planet. Even though he’s come a long way, the Mandalorian doesn’t want just any droid.

Episode 1 is familiarly good

Thus the first plotline of The Mandalorian Season 3 comes into focus. Djarin needs to redeem himself for removing his helmet, the cardinal sin for certain sects of Mandalorians. This can only be done by bathing in the waters of the mines of Mandalore.

To achieve this, he needs a trusty droid, but IG-11’s memory processing unit has been destroyed, making him once again hostile towards Grogu. He can be fixed, but only with a specific part that Djarin and Grogu must find now.

The episode reintroduces Djarin, Grogu, High Magistrate Karga and other key players. It also explains the absence of the fired Gina Carano. Most of the episode is expositional since it’s been a while since Season 2 ended.

Nevertheless, by the end of the episode, The Mandalorian Season 3 has everyone hooked once again.

The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 1 review

The first episode doesn’t do anything special in relation to other episodes of The Mandalorian. Season 3 begins with the protagonists needing something and going to look for it. This is a familiar plot line from the first two seasons.

What the show does so well is pull viewers in and give them what they want. There are a few excellent action set pieces, including the cold open, that rival any blockbuster movie.

The Mandalorian is so cool and Grogu is so popular that it truly doesn’t matter what they do as long as they’re on screen together.

There are some positively adorable Grogu moments, too. At one point, it appears he’s using the Force to move his chair in circles rapidly. He then uses the Force to pick up and eat a piece of candy.

More growth for Mando and Grogu

The relationship between the two protagonists has grown a lot, too. Djarin is much more fatherly to his adopted son. Looking back at the beginning of the series, there is a warmth between them now in Season 3 that just wasn’t there before.

This season appears poised to jump fully into the lore of Star Wars and of Mandalorians specifically. Bo Katan returns and is seen on Kalevala. This planet is making its live action debut after first being seen in The Clone Wars.

The show has done a tremendous job of slowly bringing fans, many of whom probably weren’t avid Star Wars nerds, into the fandom.

Now, they’re too hooked to care. They may not have heard of Kalevala and they don’t know the intricate lore of the Mandalorian religion. It matters not.

What started out as a very distant Star Wars project (no doubt designed to pander to less interested fans) is turning up the heat now. It doesn’t matter, because this show is too good to skip out on.

The premier of Season 3 of The Mandalorian proves that. It’s pure exposition with a bit of impressive action and it’s done so well that that’s all anyone needs.

The Mandalorian is still the best

There are plenty of Easter eggs and references for hardcore fans, but Filoni and Favreau have masterfully interwoven the intricate aspects of the universe into the most accessible property it’s ever had.

Take a close look at everything in the episode, titled The Apostate and you’ll see just how much is going on. Or don’t, and enjoy the return of television’s favorite duo.

There were probably some doubts as to what the best Disney+ show was and what the best Star Wars show was after Andor came out. Pascal, Favreau and the rest of the crew jumped back into the saddle to remind everyone that there should be no debate.

The next episode will go live on Wednesday, March 8. Be sure to get on Disney+ as soon as it does.
