Shannon Sharpe Flexes Shredded Physique From The 80s, Says He’s “Always Been Poppin”

Shannon Sharpe shared a throwback picture of his 20-year-old self to prove that his recent muscular physique is nothing new. “When they say UNC just started poppin. That’s a lie. UNC been poppin since the 80s. Here’s proof of young 20 yr old Nephew. 😜😜🤪🤪 #ТВT #SSUQRANGECRUSH #BEENHIM #IMSTILLHIM,” Sharpe wrote on social media.

“20-year-old nephew” dates the photo to 1988, Sharpe’s penultimate season at Savannah State. In 1990, he would become an unheralded seventh-round pick by the Broncos. However, the rest is history. Sharpe would become one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history and one of the greatest Broncos of all time. He ended his career with three Super Bowl rings and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2011.

Shannon Sharpe Delivers Subpar Electric Slide

While Sharpe might be in great shape, it appears that dance is not his forte. In July 2023, a video shared by The Neighborhood Talk appeared to show Sharpe at a cookout. In particular, the video showed Sharpe joining in a group dancing the electric slide. The only problem is that Sharpe puts little effort into the moves and just sort of vibes around at the back of the group. While it is true that Sharpe got a hip replacement, that was in early 2022. The resulting comments meant that ribs weren’t the only thing being grilled.

“He aint never been around so many black women since he was 18,” one person noted. “Lmao he dance like a middle aged white man,” another astutely pointed out. “He used to them football drills this a different type of steppin😂,” argued a third. However, some argued that Sharpe wasn’t the only person disrepecting the dance. “Oh no. Is it a simulation? Is it AI? Because I ain’t never seen so many off beat black folks doing a slide in my life 😩.” Furthermore, some argued that Sharpe’s tendency to date white women couldn’t even be used an excuse. “Can’t even blame the white women because them folks love a good line dance too.”

Sexyy Red’s NSFW Baby Shower Goes Viral, Rapper Drops More Throwback Content

Sexyy Red has gone viral for her NSFW antics at her baby shower. The rapper posed for photos at the hood-themed event with an unidentified man crouched behind her. The goal was to achieve a simulation of “a– eating”. “Mybad if my booty stank” 😂 #babyshowertings,” Red captioned the post.

Meanwhile, Red also posted some throwback beats on social media. “Yall ain’t know I made this too?” Red wrote on X along with a video of her vibing with a joint to her track “Slob on my Ckat”. The 2021 track is very much part of Red’s pre-breakout catalog. However, most people in her comments simply affirmed that they were indeed aware of the song.

Sexyy Red Shares High School Graduation Photos

This comes after Red shared some throwbacks to her high school days. She shared photos of her high school graduation after a fan found a picture of their old teacher with the rapper. “And I graduated,” Red wrote on social media alongside pictures of herself, fittingly, in a bright red graduation cape and mortarboard. Now 25, Red has come along way from high school. While her first tracks dropped in 2018, 2023 was the year that she really took off.

“Pound Town” and “Skee Yee” became viral hits, also becoming her first charting singles. She also dropped her first full album, Hottest Hood Princess, which peaked at No. 82 on the Billboard album chart. She also linked up with some of the biggest names in music. The nightclub Tape posted a bevvy of videos from a Wireless Fest afterparty on their social media. Many of them featured Travis Scott and Red performing from behind the DJ’s desk. Scott had brought out Red during his set earlier in the day. In one, Red performs “SkeeYee” for the crowd. However, they weren’t the only ones there. Latto also showed out, performing “Big Energy” for the crowd before declaring that it was “shots o’clock.” Other performers at the afterparty included Bryon Messina and Bryson Tiller.

Drake Gave Us A Worldwide Bop And Lyrical Banger On “Scary Hours” EP

Drake is one of the few artists who can have a song blow up without much notice or rollout. He was able to pull that off six years ago (January 19) with his two-pack EP, Scary Hours. It began the running theme within Drizzy’s catalog that has now produced a follow-up and is the title for the For All The Dogs extended version. As we mentioned, the first Scary Hours possessed one of Drake’s biggest songs ever, that is “God’s Plan.”

It took over the internet and it was his first single since “Signs” about a year prior in 2017. Joining the global phenomenon was the more lyrically-heavy “Diplomatic Immunity.” While “God’s Plan” is more of a triumphant and thankful cut about how far he’s come amidst adversity, the latter flexes a more braggadocious Drake. “‘Cause n****s started talkin’ to me like I’m slowin’ down / Opinions over statistics, of course / Gassed off journalistic / Come at me and all you’ll get is the ballistic report.”

Sexyy Red Plans To Be A “Whole New Woman” After The Birth Of Her Child

Meanwhile, Red announced that she plans to be a “whole new woman” after she “drops” her baby this year. “Super sexyy. Super pretty. Get money,” Red explained in a series of videos posted on Instagram. Red initially announced her pregnancy in October, but it’s unclear how far along she is in her pregnancy. As a result, it’s unknown when her due date is.

Of course, being pregnant hasn’t stopped Red from going wild. Red was twerking like the best of them as she celebrated the release of the deluxe version of Hottest Hood Princess. Red was turned all the way up at a release party, letting her booty shake like jello. Furthermore, Red’s impressive moves also showed that pregnancy isn’t slowing her down when comes to getting down.

Jazmine Sullivan & Anderson Paak Crafted Magic On “Price Tags” Three Years Ago: Stream

Three years ago today (January 8), Jazmine Sullivan released her acclaimed and enduringly compelling album Heaux Tales. Moreover, it has a lot of smooth, emotive, soulful, and musically proficient highlights, plus some notable collaborations with the likes of H.E.R. and Ari Lennox. However, perhaps none rank greater than her link-up with the one and only Anderson .Paak on “Price Tags,” which is one of the more thematically consistent cuts on the record. On it, the 36-year-old talks about wealth, material success, sexual empowerment, and relationship dynamics. It’s a pretty versatile song when looking at these themes, but most importantly, it’s an infectiously groovy jam with a lot of lush instrumentation and catchy melodies.

Furthermore, Jairus “J-Mo” Mozee put together a pretty impressive production from behind the board, highlighting both featured artists’ talents. The crisp and simple drum beat is consistently nasty, and offers some funky and stark contrast from the traditionally lavish backing elements. These include an ear-worm, high-pitch key sample, vocal harmonies, light guitar strums, and cavernous bass. Jazmine Sullivan shines with a dynamic performance, and the “Stand Up” singer shows off her range from soaring cries to sultry temptations. On his end, Anderson .Paak proves himself as one of the most charismatic vocalists working today with a sassy and impassioned verse.

Meanwhile, this follows a successful but sometimes turbulent 2023 for the Philly native, who had her set canceled at the Leimert Park Juneteenth Festival due to a stampede. Hopefully 2024 brings Jazmine Sullivan more luck, and finally brings the return of NxWorries that Anderson .Paak’s been teasing for so long. As we look forward to what these stars will do this year, we have this throwback to remind us of their talent and skill. If you’ve never heard “Price Tags” before, find it and the rest of Heaux Tales on your preferred streaming service and peep some notable lines down below. T-Pain & Akon Still Have Us Feeling Nostalgic For Their Iconic Collab “Bartender”

Back in the mid-2000s, T-Pain was coming out with all sorts of big hits. However, he was criminally underrated and quite frankly, overhated. A lot of the hate came from those who opposed his use of autotune. Overall, there were a lot of people who felt like it was cheapening the art of singing. People who think that are flat-out wrong. His use of autotune is extremely influential and it ultimately inspired a ton of contemporary artists. Moreover, T-Pain has proven that his natural singing voice is beautiful.

One of his biggest hits from his run in the 2000s was none other than “Bartender” with Akon. This was a track that featured on the same album as “Buy U A Drank,” which just goes to show he was on a roll during this time. Below, you can find the music video for the track, which continues to be a huge hit, all of these years later. If you are looking for your dose of 2000s nostalgia today, then look no further than this offering.

Rihanna Fan Throwback Photo From 11 Years Ago Leaves Bad Gal In Total Shock: Watch

When Rihanna was first discovered in 2003, she was just a 15-year-old with plenty of talent from beautiful Barbados. Now, the Fenty Beauty founder is a proud mother of two, girlfriend to ASAP Rocky, billionaire business owner, along with countless other accolades. She’ll be turning 36 in the new year, and we’re curious to see what the black-haired beauty has planed to top her 2023. She’s been connecting with fans up close and personally since recovering from giving birth to Riot in the summer, and was even recently pleasantly surprised by one member of the Navy who’s been supporting Rih for over a decade now.

While chatting with patrons at a recent Fenty event, one camera caught the “Umbrella” hitmaker’s jaw falling to the floor while staring at a small screen in her hand. “When I showed RiRi a pic we took 11 [years] ago! 💜,” TikTok user @itsmebabykaely0 wrote over the clip. “That’s you?!” the fashionista asks her fan, clearly in shock before posing for a new snap together.

Ensuring their glo-ups are obvious, Rihanna and the OP were mean-mugging for the camera while the singer held up their first picture together. At the time, the sweet fan was likely elementary or middle school age. Now, she’s growing into a young adult – one who continues to take her style notes from Riot and RZA’s mother. The multi-talent was kind enough to take multiple shots with her new friend, as shown in the video.

It’s been a quiet year in terms of new music from Rihanna, but that doesn’t mean the Bad Gal isn’t getting plenty of inspiration from listening to other artists. Throughout 2023, it seems Afrobeats have become a favourite for her, as she revealed in a recent interview. Read more about Rih’s favourite tracks at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Carmelo Anthony “Throwback” Performance Blows Jadakiss Away

On a recent joint appearance on 7pm in Brooklyn, Carmelo Anthony found a way to wow his close friend Jadakiss. As Jadakiss gave Usher his flowers for his recently-ended Vegas residency, he also mentioned that he still fondly remembered his time working with Usher. A moment later, Anthony was dropping a perfect cover of Kiss’ verse from that collaboration, “Throwback”. “He killed it!” Jadakiss exclaimed once Anthony had powered through the verse. You can watch Melo’s impromptu performance below. Let us know in the comments what you thought of Melo’s performance.

Jadakiss and Melo have been friends for most of Anthony’s professional basketball career. After Melo retired in May, Kiss was sure to honor his close friend. As Jadakiss began his performance at an Air Jordan event in July, he played audio from the 2003 NBA Draft, specifically the announcement of Melo going third overall to the Nuggets. Melo was in the crowd and was evidentially touched by the unorthodox shoutout. Kiss has also referred to Anthony as his “little brother” on numerous occasions during their friendship. Furthermore, Kiss’ son previously called his dad the “Melo of the [music] industry”, drawing yet another parallel between the pair.

However, Melo isn’t the only one with hip-hop connections. While walking through the crowd at Madison Square Garden during an It’s All A Blur tour stop, Drake spotted a familiar face. The Toronto rapper bounded over to embrace and greet Kiyan Anthony, Melo’s son. Furthermore, evidence from social media indicated that the pair had grabbed a picture together after the show.

Kiyan is a four-star recruit in the class of 2025. He is ranked #45 by 247 Sports and #52 by ESPN. He currently has a wealth of collegiate offers, including his father’s alma mater Syracuse. Additionally, Carmelo Anthony revealed in post-retirement interviews that he had intended to retire earlier, but that his son encouraged him to keep playing. Kiyan’s other offers are from Bryant, George Mason, Manhattan, and Memphis.

Travis Scott & Quavo Cooked Up One Of Their Best Collabs With “Moon Rock”

Back in 2017, Travis Scott and Quavo felt like unstoppable entities in the hip-hop world. Overall, they still very much are. However, the Migos hype in 2017 was palpable, while Scott was on the cusp of becoming a mega star. They had already worked together before, but they decided to team up for a fully-fledged collaborative album. These collab tapes were becoming extremely popular, and it made sense for these two to link up. The album was called Huncho Jack Jack Huncho, and it was a relative success.

Ultimately, this is one of those albums that did not have the desired effect. Instead, it was seen as just another collab tape by two titans on autopilot. However, there were still some solid tracks here. It is by no means either of these artist’s best work. But that is not to say that it doesn’t deserve closer inspection. For instance, the song “Moon Rock” is one that is particularly memorable. With some of the best production on the entire tape, this feels like the perfect song to highlight on the album’s 6-year anniversary.

Travis Scott & Quavo Are “Huncho Jack”

The melody that builds on this song feels extremely dark. There is something really sinister about it and those crescendoing 808s really make this song pop. As for Travis and Quavo, they pull off some solid performances that are drenched in autotune. Lyrically, they aren’t exactly doing any heavy lifting. However, the vibes are there and that is what you want from these two.

What do you think of “Moon Rock?” Is this the best collaboration between Quavo and Travis Scott? If not, what is and why? Let us know in the comments section down below. Additionally, be sure to keep it locked to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will be sure to keep you informed on all of the biggest releases from all of your favorite artists. There is a lot of great music on the horizon.
