Benny The Butcher Explains Donald Trump Support & His “Frustration” With It

When Benny The Butcher tweeted “I’m votin Trump 2024,” many fans hoped that someone had hacked his account. However, he dodged a question about it during a podcast appearance shortly after, which got fans even more worried. Even though we shouldn’t hold anyone to any standard based solely on their political opinion, listeners simply wanted a more elaborate explanation as to why. Well, they just got it, as the Black Soprano Family boss appeared on The Breakfast Club for a wide-ranging interview. Moreover, he reflected a little bit more than last time about what that tweet means to him, and whether he stands by it today.

“People in our position ain’t supposed to speak on their political candidates,” Benny The Butcher expressed. “I also learned everybody voting for Trump, you know what I’m saying? Only president I voted for was Obama, so I really was just talking s**t. A lot of times, African Americans, we vote Democrat, and what the f**k that been doing for us? That’s all I mean, like, what the Democrats been doing for us? I was expressing my frustrations on that. I don’t know who I’m voting for.”

Benny The Butcher Joins The Breakfast Club: Watch

The Trump conversation begins around the 21:30-minute mark.

Of course, this is far from the only hip-hop endorsement of Donald Trump, although it might be among the most unexpected. But Benny The Butcher’s words ring true for many typically blue voters in the U.S. who haven’t seen much to praise from either political party. Perhaps this isn’t the forum to get into that, but it’s an important reality to acknowledge as both groups head into what will likely be a destructive and chaotic election year. It will be very curious to see how public opinion on these matters evolves throughout the year, especially within artistic fields like rap music, in this case.

Meanwhile, the “BRON” MC will likely be one of those millions of citizens who will weigh their options up to November. Maybe he will also take this experience and run with it, perhaps chiming in with some political commentary every once in a while. Some want to keep these worlds separate for understandable reasons, but we need these conversations to happen at every level across pop culture, everyday life, and all communities who will be very impacted by whoever sits in the Oval Office. For more news and the latest updates on Benny The Butcher, keep checking in with HNHH.

Cesar Pina’s Attorney Negotiating Plea Deal in Real Estate Scam Case

Cesar Pina's Attorney Negotiating Plea Deal in Real Estate Scam Case

Cesar Pina, the controversial business partner of DJ Envy, is looking to reach a plea deal with federal prosecutors for his role in a real estate scam. According to AllHipHop, court docs highlight the work of Pina’s attorneys pushing for a continuance.

“Counsel for the parties represented that this additional continuance is necessary for effective preparation and to permit the parties to attempt to resolve this case prior to indictment and thereby avoid a trial,” the docs read. “Plea negotiations are currently in progress, and both the United States and the defendant desire additional time to negotiate a plea agreement, which would render grand jury proceedings and a trial in this matter unnecessary.”

In November, DJ Envy and Cesar Pina were named in a new lawsuit over their real estate business practices. In court documents obtained by AllHipHop, Envy, and Pina are being sued by Derik Deangelo, Chamblin Group Real Estate Ventures LLC, and Reispec Developments LLC.

The suit claims state the two men used their “Flipping New Jersey” seminars as “funnels to draw in victims” to their real estate scam. The lawsuit includes violations of the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act, a breach of contract, a civil RICO violation, fraudulent transfer, and more. The plaintiffs are seeking a jury trial and request $2,000,000 in damages.

“During these private consultations and meet and greets, members of the Pina network attempted to ‘size up’ the financial resources of each attendee and solicited individuals with sufficiently high net worth to ‘partner’ with Pina, DJ Envy, and other members of the network in real estate ‘joint ventures,’” the docs read. “During these meetings, Pina also offered his personal ‘consulting services’ wherein he made himself available for one-on-one private meetings with guests at his office for flat rate fees ranging from $1,500 to $2,500 per meeting and more.”

Recently, DJ Envy’s cohost, Charlamagne Tha God, spoke with the Rap Radar podcast and revealed that he would keep the show going if Envy was no longer part of the crew.

“‘The Breakfast Club’ is bigger than any of us as individuals,” Charla said. “I’ve always felt like that.”

He added, “I’ve never felt like The Breakfast Club was just a show about three individuals. That’s always where my mind was.”

Jess Hilarious Joins “The Breakfast Club” Full-Time

Jess Hilarious has been revealed as the newest permanent co-host of The Breakfast Club. Hilarious became the show’s third permanent host a year after Angela Yee left the show to pursue other opportunities. “Ima put the f-ck on for my city. Specifically, West Baltimore,” Hilarious said during a press conference about the reveal before Christmas.

The news came at a major spike of interest for the show and Jess herself. The news that she was permanently joining the show came after her viral interview with Sexyy Red. It was an especially tense interview, with Red not making any secrets about her disdain for Jess. Despite Jess’ best attempts, she was never able to get Red to warm up to her.

Charlamagne Tha God Speaks On Pink Friday 2

Meanwhile, Jess’ new co-host, Charlamagne Tha God, recently gave his thoughts about the recent release of Pink Friday 2, the recent album release from Nicki Minaj. “I hate that this album didn’t have a bigger rollout. We knew it was coming out but it’s Nicki Minaj. Whoever she’s signed to…Nicki needed and deserved a bigger rollout. She got records on this album. Why wouldn’t a single come out? Why wouldn’t a big video come out?” Charlemagne said on The Breakfast Club. Later in the conversation, he accused Nicki’s label of not having enough of a plan for the release. He noted this was especially apparent when she had to move the release date due to ColleGrove 2.

Pink Friday 2 did have two singles preceding its release. However, both were released well before the album was either announced or its release date revealed. Furthermore, as Charlamagne said, the album is stacked with big-name features such as J. Cole, Drake, and Future. However, the only thing those tracks received before the album was controversy. Additionally, while the album was also preceded by the AI fan collaboration “Gag City”, Charlamagne is right in arguing that Pink Friday 2 got a surprisingly muted release.

DJ Envy Requested to Submit Documents to Court or Face Arrest in Latest Development From Real Estate-Gate

DJ Envy Goes Against Lawyer's Advice, Makes Statement Against Rumored Involvement in Real State Scam

DJ Envy is on the clock. According to court reporter Meghann Cunniff, Envy must provide documents regarding Cesar Pina’s Whairhouse LLC bankruptcy by request by Judge Rosemay Gambardella to the court-mandated reported by Jan. 8.

If Envy does not meet the deadline he could be arrested and make a mandatory deposition in New Jersey bankruptcy court.

Envy already missed one deadline as Judge Gambardella states Envy did not comply witha subpoena to provide financial and communication documents by Nov. 28. The order also lists Pina and his wife, Jennifer Iturralde Pina, under the same Jan. 8 deadline. If the trio fail, Judge Gambardella could host a hearing “to address appropriate sanctions against Cesar Pina, Jennifer Iturralde Pina and Raashaun Casey for contempt of this Court’s order, including, but not limited to an order for arrest to bring the parties to the United States Bankruptcy Court.”

Last month, DJ Envy and Cesar Pina were named in a new lawsuit over their real estate business practices.

Keith Lee Accuses DJ Envy Of Calling Him “Ghetto” On “The Breakfast Club”

During his recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, Keith Lee got into a bit of a back-and-forth with DJ Envy. Envy claimed that the viral food critic reviews food “the hood way” when the father of two fired back. He accused the host of calling his reviews “ghetto,” which Envy quickly denied.

“I wouldn’t say the hood way, I just eat food,” Lee argued. Envy then asked him how service in NYC differs from that of other regions, which Lee said is all in the culture. “Culture is different, the people are different” he explained. “When I walked in you asked me or you said that I’m a ghetto food critic, so it’s like that alone embodies what New York is… New York is cold, they play with you a lot.

DJ Envy Says Keith Lee Reviews Food “The Hood Way”

“I didn’t say ghetto I said hood,” Envy interjected, prompting Lee to say “It’s the same thing.” The TikTok personality went on, claiming that he doesn’t like when small restaurants are given the same “energy” that Envy gave him, but he himself doesn’t mind it because he has “thick skin.” Envy eventually elaborated on his comments, stating that while he’s from the “hood” he doesn’t consider himself “ghetto.” Charlamagne Tha God disagreed, calling him “so ghetto.” Both Charlamagne and Lee then took aim at his outfit, arguing that wearing a wife beater when it’s cold and rainy is pretty “ghetto.”

The former MMA star made it clear that he didn’t appreciate being pigeonholed by DJ Envy. Countless social media users are weighing in on the debate, praising Lee for the polite way he handled the correction. Others think he misunderstood what Envy said, and came back a bit too hard. What do you think of Keith Lee and DJ Envy going back and forth during a recent episode of The Breakfast Club? Do you think the food critic’s response to Envy’s comment was warranted? DJ Envy Denies Blackballing Nicki Minaj

Yesterday, Nicki Minaj took to Twitter to address DJ Envy, accusing him of blackballing her and throwing a jab about his alleged real estate scam. “Remember how cocky dj envy was when he was saying he black balls my music on the radio?” Nicki wrote. “Ask yourself how a DJ could get away w/that behavior. Then I remember him selling them busted houses & I have to laugh… We prayed, envy 1 by 1… God will show y’all that you are NOT GOD.”

Now, the DJ has responded on The Breakfast Club, claiming that he plays her music nowadays. According to him, he previously decided not to play Nicki’s music because she allegedly threatened to send people to beat a fellow DJ up for his comments on one of her albums. In solidarity, he decided not to include her in his mix.

DJ Envy Responds To Nicki Minaj’s Tweet

“I ride for all the DJs. Nicki Minaj at the time got upset and said she was sending some Queens dudes up here to pretty much beat [DJ Self] up. That was wack. You can’t threaten that man for his opinion,” he explained. “The DJs are always the ones that get picked on and that gets beat up… An artist never goes at the other artist, they always say ‘Well, why the DJ played the record.’ What I said was, ‘I’m not going to play Nicki’s record until they squash that beef.‘”

“I still play her music,” he added. “And I’ll continue to play her music. I can’t blackball, all I can do is not play her in my mix.” Nicki Minaj has yet to respond to his most recent comments. Sexyy Red Explained Her Sex Tape Leak In A Hilariously Unhinged Interview With ‘The Breakfast Club’

Sexyy Red‘s new interview with The Breakfast Club goes right off the rails almost from jump, with the St. Louis rapper calling out the show’s co-host Jess Hilarious for shading her repeatedly over the past several months of her rise to fame. After things settle down, Sexyy goes on to explain her friendship with Drake (taking another shot at Jess for good measure) and how her sex tape was leaked on her Instagram Story two months ago.

After Charlamagne The God suggests that she leaked it herself to capitalize on the success of her uninhibited single “Pound Town,” Sexyy denies doing so, saying it happened accidentally when she set her phone down during “the moment” — probably meaning during a sex session. She also complains that the video in question was “wack” because it was taken when she was “fat, pregnant, and didn’t feel like doing sh*t.” She jokes that she has “way worse stuff in her phone” and that “I could really be a star” if she posted that stuff.

The lesson here, I suppose, is: If you’re going to shoot spicy videos, don’t use the Instagram camera! It makes things “easier” in a way (probably) but that “Your story” button is just a little TOO convenient to take the risk. Of course, if you’re Sexyy Red, it all just feeds the legend, which is growing by the day

Sexyy Red Accuses Jess Hilarious Of Sneak Dissing On “The Breakfast Club”

During her recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, Sexyy Red called out guest host Jess Hilarious, reminding the comedian of her past shade. According to the St. Louis rapper, she’s seen and heard everything that Jess has said about her, and simply isn’t a fan. Now that Jess has managed to “rub [her] the wrong way,” Sexyy Red claims that it’ll be tough to turn the relationship around.

“I don’t mess with you. You be sneak dissing, I see everything,” Sexyy Red declared when asked about her feelings about Jess. “I was trying to see y’all wasn’t sneak dissing before I came up here too. I check everything.” She went on, calling the personality out for “talking sh*t.”

Sexyy Red Calls Jess Hilarious Out For Past Shade

“I don’t like being brought up, especially when people talking sh*t and all that,” she explained. Jess Hilarious started to push back, insisting that she’s never disrespected the “Pound Town” performer, but Sexyy Red stuck to her guns. “I just be hearing sh*t, I be seeing sh*t on the internet,” she said. “Once somebody rub me the wrong way I just, it’s just…” She continued, describing how she doesn’t understand where the shade is coming from. “I mean, she said what she said,” Sexyy Red explained. “It be a couple times I seen you comment under something under Instagram that got something to do with me. I just be like why?”

“I’ve seen you on here talking about me before so y’all trying to play cr*zy,” she added, as Jess attempted to defend herself. “I mean, if someone was downing you, you wouldn’t f*ck with them either.” What do you think of Sexyy Red calling out Jess Hilarious during her recent appearance on The Breakfast Club? Do you think it was warranted, or should she have kept her feelings to herself? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.
