Cardi B Asks Court To Make Tasha K Pay $3 Million Despite Bankruptcy

Last year, Cardi B won $3 million in a defamation lawsuit from blogger Tasha K. The suit cited numerous times that Tasha had deliberately spread harmful misinformation about the rapper and the court agreed that serious damages needed to be paid. Since the verdict was handed down Tasha has had increasing difficulty paying. Back in June, Tasha K filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, and the remainder of her payment to Cardi was paused, but not erased. Now according to The Jasmine Brand Cardi is asking the judge not to dismiss the debt despite the ongoing bankruptcy proceedings.

Fans in the comment section of the post almost unanimously stand by Cardi B. “They better not dismiss it. She talked all that only to have a cop out to not pay!” one of the top comments emphatically declares. Others even agreed with some coming at Tasha with even harsher criticism. “Stay on her MF neck!!! All she had to do was apologize and admit she lied. Let this be a valuable lesson in humiliating!” another top comment reads. For Cardi and Tasha, the battle still seems very much ongoing and is likely to last beyond just this bankruptcy ruling.

Cardi B was almost caught up in some more legal drama of her own when she threw a microphone at a fan in Las Vegas. The local police department did open up an investigation into the case for potential battery charges. Ultimately, the entire case was dismissed without Cardi ever being charged with anything. In the wake of that news, the microphone she threw was auctioned off on eBay. What began as a simple $500 listing ultimately skyrocketed and the mic was sold for almost $100k.

The IRS Goes After Tasha K Following Tax Discrepancy

Two months ago, Tasha K filed a bankruptcy filing to avoid paying the $4 million awarded to rapper Cardi B after she lost a defamation lawsuit. Apparently the filing uncovered discrepancies in Tasha’s tax returns and now the IRS has filed a priority claim against Tasha to make sure they get paid first.

Radar Online reports:

According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Tasha K aka LaTasha Kebe, who was found liable for defaming Cardi B, has informed the court of her financial situation as part of her recent bankruptcy.

In the documents filed in Tasha’s Chapter 11, she said her income is from being a “content creator/influencer” and she “earns her income by appearing on YouTube, Instagram, and other social media.”

Tasha said her largest creditor is Cardi who is owed $3,363,753. Cardi sued Tasha accusing her of defaming her in a series of YouTube videos posted on her channel.

In her new filing, Tasha admitted the total value of her assets is $58,595 with the biggest asset being a Chevy Silverado, with a value of $46,750 and a $53,412 lien on the truck for purchase money financing.

She said without the truck her assets only total $12k. Tasha revealed the IRS has filed an estimated priority claim of $97k for taxes for 2021 and 2022. However, Tasha said she filed both returns and it appears the tax principal due is $150k with another $30k due in state income taxes.

“Clearly [Tasha] does not have the ability to pay the [Cardi] judgment in full,” Tasha’s lawyer said in court. Further, she said Tasha will work to “amicable resolve the [Cardi] judgment” in the case.

Cardi has yet to respond to Tasha’s claims in the bankruptcy.

Tasha K Maintains That She “Does Not Have The Ability” To Pay Cardi B In Court

Tasha K has a tough road ahead of her when it comes to her lost defamation lawsuit from Cardi B. With a $4 million payout, the blogger filed for bankruptcy as the rapper tried to audit her income to see how she could pay damages, while Tasha wants to work out a payment plan. Moreover, during a hearing in bankruptcy court as reported by Radar Online, Tasha claimed that she “does not have the ability” to pay Cardi the $4 million. Of course, many different factors could contribute to this inability, considering her income as a social media content creator. Another important aspect that hinders her pockets are her outstanding tax debts to the IRS, with separate debts of $150,000 and $30,000.

Furthermore, Tasha K filed for bankruptcy back in May, a month after a judge ruled that Cardi B could seize her property in her debt collection. At the moment, it’s unclear how much more Tasha owes her, considering that Cardi already took some of her YouTube checks. Regardless, Tasha filed with $95 in her checking account, and recently claimed her assets total around $59,000. This includes a $47,000 Chevy Silverado with a $53,000 financing lien and other assets totaling $12,000.

Still, this story also saw some turns as a result of Tasha K’s bankruptcy, with Cardi B pausing debt collection soon after she filed. However, it seems like things aren’t so amicable anymore considering the Bronx MC’s audit of the blogger. All this is also made more contentious and spicy by the incredibly sarcastic and backhanded apology that Tasha recently gave to Bardi stans online. It didn’t help her ongoing legal battle, but once that wraps up, we’re sure that the social media war will probably continue just as it always has.

Atlantic refuses to give her any money to produce a second album because they took such a loss on her first album that she is now stating to promote 6 years later. Again, I’m so sorry. Cardi B Keeps It Up And Stuck: Subpoenas Tasha K’s Husband

Two months ago gossip vlogger Tasha K filed for bankruptcy and went to Africa to avoid paying the $3 million judgment awarded to rapper Cardi B after successfully suing Tasha for defamation of character. Now Cardi has slapped Tasha K’s husband with a subpoena too.

HipHopDX reports:

Court documents obtained by HipHopDX reveal that the “Bodak Yellow” rapper issued what’s known as a subpoena duces tecum to Cheickna Kebe, Tasha K’s husband, on Tuesday (June 18).

This subpoena permits Cardi — through her attorneys — to examine each and every asset that the couple has in their name, and confirms that the examination will take place on August 7 in Miami, FL. The examination will also be recorded on video, and entered as part of Tasha K’s bankruptcy filing with the court back in May.

“The examination may continue from day to day until completed,” reads the order, which suggests that the examination will take more than one day to complete. “If the examinee receives this notice less than 14 days prior to the scheduled examination date, the examination will be rescheduled upon timely request to a mutually agreeable time.”

Cardi B Is Not Letting Up On Vlogger Tasha K: Requests To See Financial Records

Last year Youtube gossip vlogger Tasha K lost an ongoing court battle after she refused to take down a video allegeding horrible things about the Bronx rapper. Tasha was ordered to pay rapper Cardi B $3 million after Cardi won the lawsuit against Tasha for defamation of character
Two months ago Tasha filed for bankruptcy but that’s not stopping Cardi from letting up. Now Cardi is requesting to see all of Tasha’s financial records for an examination.

Radar Online reports:

Cardi B has demanded the blogger who owes her $3 million show up to court with copies of all her financial records for an examination, RadarOnline.com has learned.

According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Cardi requested the hearing take place on August 9. The rapper wants to grill Tasha K about the sources of her income.

Cardi wants Tasha to come to court with a series of documents. She has asked for copies of all “transfers Debtor’s financial or other assets to any third party, bank account or trust made from March 21, 2019, to present.”

Further, she wants Tasha to explain how she plans to pay the $3 million debt owed, especially since she believes it cannot be wiped clean in bankruptcy.

In addition, Cardi wants copies of Tasha’s, “direct or indirect income streams through Social Media Platforms or through wire transfers, cash payments or transfers via applications such as PayPal, Zelle, Venmo or CashApp or any other manner for designed for transferring funds to Debtor or at Debtor’s direction to third parties.”

Cardi wants information on all of Tasha’s social media platforms and a copy of her financial statement generated by QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

The motion asked Tasha to also bring copies of her., “Income Tax Returns for Debtor (including jointly filed) for 2019, 2020, 2021 (including all schedules) and including any 1099 forms and Schedule K-1 forms. Income Tax Return for 2022 (including all schedules and when filed) and including any 1099 forms and Schedule K-1 forms.”

Cardi even wants photos of all household goods and furnishings, fur and jewelry owned by Tasha. She also requested copies of all her credit card statements and lists of any crypto currency.

Tasha has yet to respond.

Tasha K & Wack 100 Go Back & Forth On Social Media In Bizarre Beef

It seems like the newest pop culture beef of note is blogger Tasha K and industry executive Wack 100, who manages Blueface and The Game. Moreover, believe it or not, their feud initiated with Tasha’s alleged claims about R. Kelly that the singer believes was part of what led to his conviction. Wack actually interviewed Kelly about this and called her a police informant after the disgraced R&B star accused her of illegally getting access to his emails, prison logs, and other incriminating information. Of course, Tasha clapped back with force, bringing up salacious claims about Wack’s side piece, questionable alleged tax returns, and his wife’s work as a probation officer.

“How did you go from marrying a b***h that ensured motherf***ers turned in they piss, got in before curfew, met all the terms and conditions of they motherf***ing probation,” Tasha K retorted at Wack 100. “Married the b***h. Then you’ll turn around, and now you mad at the very thing that I’m doing on behalf of black women. You married a black woman in full support of what she’s doing to n***as out here.

“These are tax returns because he went from being a truck driver, then all of a sudden he’s managing The Game and managing Ray J and managing Blueface,” she said of his alleged income documents. Unsurprisingly, Wack 100 denied all these claims about him and his wife, letting her know they don’t make him afraid. However, Tasha K accused the manager of online attacks and harassment and even warned him of his movement. “You’re leaving a digital footprint like everything that you posting right now in your page,” she expressed. “It’s a digital footprint that’s the stupidest s**t that I’ve ever seen.”

Meanwhile, this is far from the first feud that either of them have been involved in. In fact, considering that the R. Kelly comments came a while ago, it’s actually surprising that it took this long. Regardless, we’re sure that this isn’t the end of this saga, although it’s hard to say exactly how far it will go or how relevant it will be. Well, they weren’t direct shots, but she spoke on breezing through the negativity shortly after Tasha’s remarks, so fans put two and two together. Regardless, the blogger responded and stood by her position against the matriarch.

Of course, this being Tasha K, there was a lot more she said and ranted about in the clip. She took shots at her ex-husband Matthew Knowles and their failed relationship, including claims that Beyoncé is only famous because she’s light-skinned. Overall, no matter how you slice it, this only meant words of war for the Beyhive, and it’s unlikely any of her praise of the singer came through. Amid her ongoing social media beef with Sukihana, the Unwine host is using her concern for “children, women, and animals” to add fuel to the fire as she shares receipts of the Love & Hip-Hop star previously engaging in inappropriate behaviour.
