T.I. & Tiny: Complete Relationship Timeline

Clifford Harris Jr. and Tameka Cottle Harris, known as T.I. and Tiny, have been together for over two decades. Mr. Harris was known as Tip but adopted the name T.I. due to his respect for Q-Tip, a fellow rapper with a solid reputation in rap music. Consequently, Tiny got her name from her size but was famed for being a member of Xscape, quite popular in the 1990s.

Tiny has had a successful career, even being credited for her co-writing the song “No Scrubs” by TLC. T.I.’s music career began in 1996 when he befriended Big Kuntry, a local rapper in Georgia. They later sold mixtapes together from the trunk of their car. When the couple met in T.I.’s hometown at the start of his career, Tiny was already a successful artist with three platinum albums with Xscape. They have had a roller-coaster of a relationship and achieved much, but it has not been without problems. Looking back, there have been instances in their relationship that are considered memorable.

T.I. and Tiny first met in 1999 through T.I.’s music career. Coincidentally, Xscape had been working with T.I.’s label, Grand Hustle Records. Tiny ignored T.I. when they first met in the studio, but after some effort and a date, he managed to charm her. The couple’s journey began shortly after this, and just like teenagers in love, they clearly had that spark!

In 2001, T.I. reportedly signed a record deal with Arista. During this time, he made an interesting remark to win Tiny over further as he worked on his Trap Muzik album. In an interview with Global Grind, T.I. joked that while Tiny didn’t give her attention at first, the album would get her attention.

The Couple Grow a Family

After dating for a few years, in 2004, T.I. and Tiny welcomed their first child together. They named their son Clifford “King” Harris III. Years later, T.I. was arrested on gun charges when he tried to purchase an unregistered machine gun from his then-bodyguard. The bodyguard was reportedly a federal informant who snitched on him. T.I. was given a seven-month sentence.

Despite these shocking incidences, Tiny visited him in prison. Unfortunately, while she did this, Tiny was also pregnant but lost the baby. However, in May of the following year, the couple welcomed their second baby together, Major Philant Harris. T.I. decided to honor Philant Johnson, his close friend who had died of gun violence.

T.I. and Tiny finally got married in July 2010. They had been patient but made their lifelong dream to strengthen their family bond come true. The memorable ceremony was graced by a horse-drawn Cinderella carriage in Miami, signaling what most thought would be a new beginning for the couple.

Unfortunately, not long after, T.I. was back in jail for 11 months for illegal possession of drugs, against the terms of his probation in 2010. After completing his sentence, the entrepreneur started a reality TV show on VH1. T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle was founded on the premise of a significant gap he saw that he could capitalize on. As much as it was a hit in the mainstream media, it clearly put their dirty laundry on display.

The Family Scandals Sustain

In 2014, a video surfaced online showing T.I. getting into a physical altercation with Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas. The incident reportedly stemmed from T.I.’s suspicion that Tiny was having an affair with Mayweather. However, the couple denied the rumors and maintained that they were still together.

On March 2016, T.I. and Tiny welcomed their daughter Heiress Diana Harris. Despite the excitement, the couple’s union was not all roses.  In April 2017, T.I. and Tiny’s marriage was once again in the spotlight when Tiny filed for divorce over cheating allegations. T.I. had allegedly cheated on Tiny with Bernice Burgos, an Instagram model. T.I. filed a counter-suit with his own terms for the divorce in July 2017. This was in response to Tiny’s demands that included primary custody as well as joint legal custody of their three kids. Fortunately, the couple reconciled, and the divorce was never finalized.

T.I. Goes Big With Gifts

In 2018, T.I. bought his wife a new $225,000 whip for her 43rd birthday. According to him, he just wanted to thank her for loving him and standing by his side. When he was asked about the Mercedez S550 T.I. had customized for Tiny, he avoided giving the specifics. He instead felt his feelings for Tiny had been justified over the years.

T.I. & Tiny Face Vicious Allegations

In 2021, rumors emerged that the couple had been intimately abusing various women. Sabrina Peterson, a former associate of the couple, started the rumors and alleged abuse and trafficking accusations. Through their spokesperson, the couple denied the claims. However, they later decided to suspend the show Friends & Family Hustle after the allegations to focus on family.

In 2023, the couple’s lawsuit against MGA Entertainment over the similarities between the company’s OMG dolls and that of the rap group OMG Girlz ended in a mistrial. Tiny formed the OMG Girlz in 2009, and the group includes her first daughter Zonnique “Star” Pullins, from a previous relationship before meeting T.I. The couple has been through it all, but despite everything, T.I.’s love for his wife certainly isn’t “tiny.”

Lil Pump Labels T.I. A “Snitch” & Discredits Comedy Career

Lil Pump is the latest rapper to target T.I. over allegations of snitching. The issues began a few weeks ago when Boosie said he canceled his joint effort with T.I.. Though Pump probably had no intention to check out the project, he went on a tirade targeting Tip on Instagram Live. “T.I.’s a snitch,” he said. “So, I don’t ever want to see him pull up with none of them stupid-ass paperwork and shit. T.I., we know you’re a snitch.”

The “Gucci Gang” rapper didn’t end there. Lil Pump proceeded to put T.I. on blast for trying to turn his comedy show into a paperwork party. “You even brought the papers to your stupid-ass comedy show that nobody fucking goes to,” he continued. “You’re a bum.” At this point, it seems unlikely that T.I. will entertain Lil Pump’s shenanigans, largely because he’s smart enough to know that it won’t work in his favor. However, Pump clearly didn’t appreciate how T.I. tried to handle the allegations against him.

Lil Pump Slams T.I.

The comedy show that Lil Pump refers to in the clip occurred in late February. At the time, T.I. tried to call out Boosie Badazz. He confirmed that he invited the Louisiana rapper to attend the show in order to prove, once and for all, that he never cooperated with authorities via paperwork. Boosie didn’t show up, though apparently, Charleston White did. Needless to say, T.I. and Boosie haven’t seen eye-to-eye lately and Lil Pump appears to be using their issues to his own benefit.

Lil Pump recently slid thorugh with his latest body of work on Friday. The sequel to his self-titled debut emerged with 16 songs in total, along with features from a gang of high-profile names. Ty Dolla $ign and NBA Youngbo joined Pump on the record, along with G4 Boyz, Rio Da Yung OG, and close collaborator and friend, Smokepurpp. With the recent comments, including those directed at T.I., it feels like Lil Pump is truly using old tricks to drive his numbers up. Check out Lil Pump’s comments about T.I. above and let us know your thoughts below.

Lil Wayne, T.I. Intended To Form Boyz N Da Hood Before Jeezy Joined Group

With only two albums out, Boyz N Da Hood defined an era in the mid-aughts. The group consisted of Jeezy, Gorilla Zoe, Big Gee, Big Duke, and Jody Breeze, though that wasn’t initially the roster. Jody Breeze spoke to Vlad TV, where he confirmed Jeezy wasn’t actually supposed to be in the group. Instead, Block Entertainment co-founder, Russell “Block” Spencer, wanted a roster of stars in Boyz N Da Hood. He planned to have T.I., Lil Wayne, and Trick Daddy on board for the Bad Boy-signed band.

“The group actually was supposed to have been me, Trick Daddy, T.I. and Lil Wayne,” Breeze explained. “That was Block’s first plan, but I was like, ‘They already on, they already popping,” he continued. Though Breeze already gained momentum, he explained that he didn’t feel ready to stand alongside established Southern powerhouses. Though he worked with T.I. and Lil Wayne, he didn’t think it made sense to join them at this point. “I was telling Block like, ‘Nah, I don’t think I want to be in a group with them at this time,’” he added.

Trick Daddy Rejected Feature On Boyz N Da Hood’s “Dem Boyz”

T.I. and Lil Wayne have previously addressed (and shut down) rumors of joining the group. However, Breeze explained that a few records from the Boyz N Da Hood catalog initially belonged to other artists. Breeze recalled a session with Trick Trick who “didn’t like” the single, “Dem Boyz.” However, he provided vocals on two other records including “P*ssy MFs. This record, in particular, landed on their self-titled debut album. Additionally, T.I.’s “Stand Up” ft. Lil Wayne, Trick Daddy, and Lil Jon was intended for Boyz N Da Hood before Tip added it to Urban Legend.

Boyz N Da Hood didn’t necessarily have a long career, though that’s partially due to Jeezy’s success as a solo artist. By the time the group’s sophomore album, Back Up N Da Chevy, hit shelves, the Trap or Die rapper had already found incredible success and further pushed his solo career. Evidently, it worked out for the best as he continued to define trap music and Atlanta’s rap scene that opened the gates for many of the artists we love today.

T.I. Says He Began Reading The Newspaper Before Kindergarten

It isn’t uncommon for T.I. to make declarations about his skills and talents, and he’s delivered a story about his childhood that caused a conversation. Tip has dubbed himself the King of the South, and recently, Georgia’s Royal Highness revealed he was working on his final solo album, Kill the King. While fans await its release, T.I. has been a regular on the comedy circuit, trying out new material to audiences who are used to hearing him belt out his hits.

Recently, T.I. caught up with Uptown Comedy Corner, and during the chat, he spoke about his development as a child. According to him, his talents were revealed at a young age. “Everybody knew I was smart when I started reading before I went to kindergarten,” said Tip. “Don’t nobody know how I learned how to read or who taught me how to read.” The host was surprised. “Nobody. I just remember being passed the newspaper, asked to read. You know what I mean? And that was kinda like—my grandmama, to impress her friend, call me. ‘Tip! C’mere! Read this!’ You know what I’m sayin’?”

T.I. Is Serious About Comedy Career

Not everyone believed T.I.’s story regarding his reading skills, but the Rap icon isn’t a stranger to critics. When he announced he was venturing into stand-up comedy, people quickly hopped online with questions. Soon, videos of Tip on stage cracking jokes make their way to social media. Veteran comedian Godfrey headlined a show where T.I. also performed but admitted he didn’t watch the rapper’s set. T.I. was said to have gone up after Godfrey, and because he headlined, Godfrey said he didn’t stick around. He also questioned the seriousness of the rapper’s interest in comedy.

Meanwhile, T.I. was made aware of Godfrey’s comments and issued a clap back on Instagram. “Bro, I’m not your opponent. You been talking about how long you been doing this and for somebody to come on after you headlining,” said Tip. He added, “You know how many of these comedians there is out there rapping right now? You know how many comedians there is doing rap? I’ve been rapping since I was eight years old, bruh. It took me probably 20 years to God damn get where I wanted to be.” Check out T.I. with Uptown Comedy Corner above.

Beginning back in February, the tour included a handful of other hip-hop heavyweights like Jeezy, 2-Chainz, and Jadakiss. Its last stop will be at the Barclays on April 23rd. He revealed to TMZ that fellow Atlanta rapper Big Boi warned him about labeling himself The King. He cautioned, “Life is a game of chess, and the name of the game is called Kill The King. That’s what you are setting yourself up for.” Thus the ATL actor’s final album.

T.I. told The Breakfast Club that he’s ready to “get the hell outta here”. In an interview with the Big Facts Podcast, he admitted, “I just don’t care about the sh*t other motherf****** out here care about. T.I. And Boosie Beef: A Timeline

Get a comprehensive timeline of the ongoing beef between T.I. and Boosie. Including the events that triggered it, their social media exchanges, and their fans’ reactions.

Although, the hip-hop industry is no stranger to feuds and rivalries, the ongoing beef between T.I. and Boosie has been intense and dramatic. The two rappers have been exchanging insults and threats on social media. Meanwhile, their fans have been taking sides and joining the debate. In this article, we’ll take a closer look at the timeline of the two star’s feud. Ultimately, try to understand and pinpoint what caused such discord between the rappers and how it has evolved.

March 2020

The first time beef between T.I. and Boosie begin back in March 2020 when Boosie made headlines for commenting on Dwyane Wade’s transgender daughter. In an interview, Wade spoke about how he and his wife supported their daughter’s transition decision. However, Boosie disagreed with this and took to social media to express his opinion. He faced backlash for his comments, with many people accusing him of being transphobic.

T.I. was one of the people who took offense to Boosie’s comments, and he called him out on Instagram. In a video, T.I. told Boosie to mind his business and stop worrying about other people’s children.

May 2020:

Eventually, the beef between T.I. and Boosie continued to escalate in May 2020 when Boosie called TI a “snitch” on Instagram. The comment was about T.I.’s past legal troubles, which included a conviction for federal gun charges. T.I. did not take kindly to the insult and said that he was not afraid of Boosie and would defend his family at all costs.

July 2020:

Boosie was in utter disbelief and criticized T.I. for taking his daughter to a gynecologist to check if her hymen was still intact. Boosie, appalled, argued that T.I. was being too controlling and invasive and that he should respect his daughter’s privacy. T.I. defends his actions and claims he is a responsible parent and that Boosie should mind his own business.

October 2020:

The tension between the two rappers escalated in October 2020 when they crossed paths at a basketball game in Atlanta. T.I. approached Boosie and asked him why he had been talking about him on social media. Boosie denied the accusation, and the two had a heated exchange captured on camera. T.I. later posted a video on Instagram, calling Boosie a “bald-headed, homophobic, racist ass” and challenging him to a fight.

March 2022:

The tension between T.I. and Boosie continued to escalate in March 2022. T.I. released a diss track called “Fck Boosie” in which he called out Boosie for his disrespect towards him and his family. Boosie responded with his own diss track, “TI Ain’t Sht,” in which he accused T.I. of being fake and not living up to his own principles.

May 2022:

The beef between T.I. and Boosie continued into May 2022. Boosie released another diss track called “TI Is a Snitch,” Boosie accuses T.I. of cooperating with the police in a previous legal case. T.I. responded by posting a series of videos on social media, denying the allegations and called Boosie a liar.

June 2022:

Although, T.I. and Boosie’s beef seemed to have calmed down. T.I. posted a message on social media, saying he was moving on from the beef. Ti implied that he had no interest in continuing the feud. Soon after, Boosie posted a statement, saying that he had no problem with T.I. and wished him all the best.

March 2023:

Fast forward to March 2023, and the beef between T.I. and Boosie reignited again. Boosie posted a series of tweets calling out T.I. for not standing up for him during a recent legal issue. T.I. responded on social media, saying that he had no obligation to defend Boosie and was tired of his constant disrespect.

The T.I. and Boosie beef has been an ongoing saga in the rap industry. Incidentally, the two artists exchanged insults and accusations over the past year. Nevertheless, it seemed that the feud had died at one point; it again flared up in March 2023. Whether this will lead to further diss tracks or a physical altercation remains to be seen, but one thing is sure – the beef between T.I. and Boosie shows no signs of ending anytime soon.
