Lil Meech Clowned By Homies For Showing Love To Summer Walker On FaceTime: Watch

When Summer Walker first began spending more time with Lil Meech a few weeks ago, many were in shock. Not only do the actor and singer have several years between them (her being older by four), but Walker is also a mother of three young children while her man has none of his own to worry about. From the looks of their recent Instagram posts, the pair is happier than ever, even with Celina Powell’s attempt to derail their relationship by sharing unsavoury content of her and Meech on OnlyFans.

The new lovers have yet to make their red carpet debut, but they have been sharing plenty of content on social media. Most recently, a video of the BMF actor being clowned by his friends for showing affection for Walker on FaceTime has been circulating. “You look so handsome,” the Still Over It songstress tells Meech during their video call. “Thank you, babe,” he happily responds before telling Summer that he’s been missing her.

Lil Meech is a Man in Love

The mushy moment is undeniably sweet for fans of the couple, though one of Meech’s homies was obviously unimpressed by listening to the lovey-dovey talk. “You hatin’ bro?!” the 23-year-old asks after taking in the unreasonably negative reaction. “Talkin’ all that ole’ shit bro, shut that shit up,” he goes on to say before meekly adding, “I want to love somebody too.” Elsewhere in the vehicle, another pal admitted that seeing Meech speak so affectionately with Walker was making him miss his own girl.

During the latest episode of Caresha Please, the R&B diva sat down with Yung Miami to discuss her relationship with the Florida native, among other things. At the time, she revealed that they’re happy together, and have even discussed the possibility of children in the future. Do you think Lil Meech’s friends were wrong for poking fun at him and Summer Walker’s relationship? Let us know in the comments, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Summer Walker Felt ‘Played’ By The ‘Grammys Snub’: ‘The Numbers Was There, The Fans Was There’

The 2023 Grammys are in the books. However, Summer Walker still has a bone to pick with the annual event’s voting board. The “Finding Peace” singer continues to air her grievances with the organization after not receiving any nominations for her past two albums.

During her appearance on Caresha Please, the songwriter told host Yung Miami that she felt played by the ‘snub.’ “Honestly, both albums, Over It and Still Over It, really did the numbers. I don’t know. I feel like I got played. The numbers was there. The fans was there. When I pop out for a show, sold out every time,” said Walker.

Adding, “I don’t f*cking know why they played me. I do know why, but I ain’t gonna go into it. But it’s ok. The love is there, and the money is there. So it’s good.”

This isn’t the first time the singer addressed the matter. Back in November, following the nomination ceremony, she took to Twitter, writing, “And as for the Grammys for a 2nd time, the math is literally not mathing. I was gone post some numbers, but it’s ok. At least the streets f*ck with me. Y’all always pack out every show and support every time I drop. So, thanks for the love I do receive.”

Summer Walker Credits Shenseea With Changing London On Da Track: “Shoutout To You, Bitch”

After interviewing a handful of the biggest names in rap and R&B on her Caresha Please podcast, Yung Miami has become an expert at getting her guests to spill the tea. The City Girl always spills plenty of her own gossip of course, but during the latest episode, it didn’t take much for her to get Summer Walker talking. The mother of three had plenty to discuss, from some of her unique approaches to parenting to her new relationship with Lil Meech.

She and the BMF actor seem to be incredibly happy together at this point, though it’s still early on in their time spent together. While she had nothing but positive things to say about her new man, Walker also took a moment to acknowledge a noticeable difference in her first baby daddy, London on da Track. He himself has moved on with Jamaican songstress Shenseea, who the Still Over It hitmaker happily credited with bringing out the better side in her former frequent collaborator and lover.

Summer Walker Wishes London on da Track and Shenseea The Best

“Shenseea, shout out to you bitch,” Walker told Yung Miami and listeners tuning in earlier this week. “After she got in the picture, he started acting right. I was like, ‘Thank God, n*gga done moved on.’ It was wild in the beginning.” The pair spent months publicly feuding while attempting to co-parent their young daughter together. Seeing as Summer’s Instagram Story has been filled with sweet selfies of her and Meech lately, rather than rants about London, it’s safe to say they’ve come to a healthier place in their situation.

Aside from that, the Atlanta native also discusses her biggest ick in a man, the rumoured “death” of R&B, and her stage anxiety, which has earned her some serious backlash in the past. Have you tapped into Summer Walker’s full appearance on Caresha Please yet? If not, read what she had to say about toxic motherhood at the link below, and check back later for more pop culture/music news updates.

Summer Walker Cried After Hearing J. Cole On “Audio Hug”

According to a recent interview with singer Summer Walker, J. Cole has moved her to tears with a new song collaboration. During an episode of Young Miami’s REVOLT TV talk show Caresha Please, Walker provided some insights to viewers about her new track featuring the Grammy Award-winning rapper. Walker began by mentioning that the song is called “Audio Hug.” She had initially asked Cole to work on a song together, but due to her being heavily pregnant at the time, they couldn’t meet in person. However, Cole ended up sending her something called “Audio Hug,” which deeply touched her.

“So we have a song called ‘Audio Hug,’” Summer Walker began. “I had asked him to do a song, he really didn’t get time to do it. He wanted to meet and I was so f*cking pregnant, oh my God, I can’t. I don’t know if you seen them pictures, I was like 200 pounds. My ankles were huge. It was crazy. So we didn’t meet. But, he did end up sending me something called ‘Audio Hug.’” Although they didn’t meet in the studio, they did have a chance to hang out at Dreamville, where they had a good time. They also went to Dave & Buster’s afterward and played basketball, where Cole and everyone else got beaten. Walker mentioned that she doesn’t typically like working in the studio, but their interaction was enjoyable.

Recently, during the Dreamville Festival, Walker announced her upcoming EP titled Clear 2: Soft Life. Since then, her fans have been eagerly anticipating its release. Earlier this week, Walker decided to give her fans a sneak peek of the EP. She shared a video on social media, showing her enjoying the company of her friends Sexyy Red and Sukihana. They can be seen lounging by the pool and comically sampling caviar. In a lighthearted moment, Walker humorously questions, “So this is what the Caucasian people be eatin’?” Towards the end of the video, she finally reveals the details that her fans have been eagerly waiting for—the tracklist of the EP. Finally, the wait is over, and the EP is now available.

As seen in the tweet above, the EP is getting lots of love. Sukihana, who was featured in some of the teaser material for Summer Walker’s EP, tweeted her love for the project. “So proud of my sister summer that listening to her tape has me in tears,” Suki wrote. “All my fans stream Summer walkers new project all day and night.” In addition, both Rubi Rose and Latto posted about the EP. The former posted a screenshot of the tracklist on her Instagram stories, and the latter posted a picture of Walker’s music video playing on her television. Summer Walker Rants About Narcissistic Men’s Mothers On “Caresha Please”: Watch

While Summer Walker has never shied away from airing out the men who have done her wrong both on social media and in her music, she’s also made sure to hold the women who raised them accountable. On the final track of her sophomore album, Still Over It – mostly dedicated to her toxic relationship with London on da Track – the Atlanta native begins by singing, “I wanna start with your mama, she should’ve whooped your ass.” “4th Baby Mama” has since gone on to become an anthem for women scorned, and it wasn’t the last time Walker spoke out about her feelings on the topic.

More recently, she joined City Girls rapper Yung Miami on the Caresha Please podcast. The duo discussed “all the smoke” as the rapper loves to put it, dishing on everything from Walker’s recently revealed relationship with Lil Meech to her plans for having more children in the future. While things with the BMF actor sound to be going great, the “No Love” songstress did have some things to get off her chest about the mothers of men she’s previously dealt with.

Summer Walker Talks Toxic Mothers on Caresha Please

“I have no regrets,” Summer confirmed of her decision to release the relentless song. “There’s nothing worse to me than, like, men who have enabling mothers. Like, narcissists that have enabling mothers. Like, you could call a n*gga mama and be like, ‘He just did this, he just did that.’ And they’ll be like,” the mother of three explained as Miami cut him off to add, “‘What you do that make him do that?’”

The two women agreed that it’s painful to deal with women like that. “And that’s why he acts like that now, because you never disciplined him or told him when he was wrong,” Walker ranted before revealing that her two youngest children are boys, and she’s determined to not raise them in such a manner. “I wish a girl would call me and tell me my son did some crazy shit to her. I would be like, ‘N*gga is you crazy?! I ain’t raise you like that. Don’t be out here embarrassing me.’”

Summer Walker Teases A One-Night-Only Show In Atlanta With Her Performance Coach, Teyana Taylor

Now that Summer Walker has released her new EP Clear 2: Soft Life, she’s begun to tease her shows promoting it alongside her new performance “coach,” Teyana Taylor. Walker shared a teaser video of the duo working on the choreography backstage to hype up her upcoming “one night only” show in Atlanta. Tickets for Summer Walker: The Clear Series—One Night Only go on general sale on Friday, May 26 at 10 am. Before that, the pre-sale runs from now until Friday at 9. A Live Nation presale will run from Thursday, May 25 at 10.

Fans were psyched to see the behind-the-scenes work, predicting that the collaboration would result in a huge step up for Walker after she Taylor previously worked with Latto on her Coachella set. “Teyana helping the girls raise the performance bar one by one,” one fan tweeted. Another noted, “Teyana Taylor doubling as a creative director + choreographer. Saving the industry one artist at a time.” One even suggested that watching Taylor work with artists would make for a great reality show.

The prevailing sentiment appears to be pride and approval for Taylor’s transition to her post-music roles after calling it quits on her singing career in 2021. After feeling underappreciated as an artist herself, it seems she’s really found her stride helping other artists’ careers — while also occasionally starring in films like White Men Can’t Jump and a planned Dionne Warwick biopic.
