Waka Flocka Flames Yasiin Bey For Wearing Dress After Dissing Drake

During an interview with The Cutting Room Floor last month, Yasiin Bey FKA Mos Def shared his take on whether or not Drake makes hip-hop music. “Why are you doing this to me?” he jokingly responded, seemingly attempting to steer clear of any controversy. “Drake is pop to me. In the sense, like, if I was in Target in Houston, and I heard a Drake song. It feels like a lot of his music is compatible with… shopping. Or, as you know, shopping with an edge in certain instances.”

For obvious reasons, Drake and his fans were less than thrilled with his comments, and fired back with full force. Drizzy even went on to call Bey a “Bohemian Bucket,” or “crackhead,” after finding out about his short-lived marriage to a woman from Toronto.

Waka Flocka Weighs In On Yasiin Bey’s Fit

Social media users have been a bit more critical of Bey since he seemingly dissed Drake too, recently flaming him for a bold outfit he debuted on Instagram. The outfit in question consisted of a silver jacket, a plaid skirt, and a pair of shiny platform boots. For the most part, commenters weren’t really feeling the look, including Waka Flocka Flame. He recently reacted to the flashy fit in a clip on Instagram, making it clear that he’s not a fan.

“That Mos Def buddy is tripping,” he begins. “You go from goddamn telling Drake he not hip hop to putting on a goddamn ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper dress like a wrestler… So that’s what hip hop is?” While some commenters agree with Waka Flocka’s take on the situation, others argue that fashion doesn’t necessarily correlate with the kind of music someone makes. The 2024 Grammy Awards are right around the corner, and Coi Leray is celebrating her two nominations. Moreover, she posted a video on social media of her excitedly greeting (and inhaling) balloons that spell out “GRAMMY NOM,” presumably in her hotel room. If you didn’t already know, the Massachusetts rapper received nods in the Best Pop Dance Recording and Best Rap Performance categories. The latter is for her Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five-tributing jam, “Players,” whereas the former is for the song “Baby Don’t Hurt Me,” which she assisted David Guetta and Anne-Marie on. Not only that, but these are Benzino’s daughter’s first-ever nominations from the Recording Academy.

Furthermore, we can’t really call whether she’ll win the Best Pop Dance Recording category; “Rush” by Troye Sivan is a big favorite. Nevertheless, that’s not our niche, so who are we to say? What we can guess is that Coi Leray actually has a slight chance to win Best Rap Performance, given just how unique each nomination in that field is. Drake Gets Clowned Online For Bizarre New Tour Outfit

Drake just kicked off the joint J. Cole tour Big As The What? in Tampa on Friday (February 2), for which you can find the setlist here. While fans loved it and had so many amazing moments to chew on, they also found plenty of reasons to have a laugh. Moreover, one of the main ones was the bizarre outfit that he chose to wear to open the trek, which is an expansion of his previous It’s All A Blur tour with 21 S*vage. From footage below, you can see that Drizzy wore some sort of spine on his back, or maybe the back of a stegosaurus, or something else entirely that we’re just missing.

Furthermore, maybe you might’ve expected this to be a designer look, but there’s no info on any of that so far. Maybe Drake is shouting out Louis Vuitton’s latest foray into fashion: an Attack on Titan tribute that many fans referenced in the comments of the post below. Jokes aside, this is far from the first time his style got clowned online, but if nothing else, he does have pretty comfy and cozy drip. This new fit doesn’t fit into that category, but we’re sure the 37-year-old will have more curious choices to show off that look more snug.

She kicked things off with “Think U The Sh*t (Fart)” and finished the show with “Deli.” Ice Spice turned heads in a bold, sheer bodysuit, complete with vertical black stripes. She complimented the flirty fit with a pair of black heels and her signature “Princess” chain. Other performers included Victoria Monet, Coco Jones, Noah Kahan, Gracie Abrams, Jelly Roll, and Lainey Wilson.

Joe Montana Poses For OVO X NFL Collab

Four-time Super Bowl champion Joe Montana has teamed up with Drake and the NFL. The Hall of Famer posed in a letterman jacket decked out in the Super Bowl LVIII colors. Furthermore, Montana – who is looking absolutely great at 67 – also donned a cream sweater bearing the OVO logo. The NFL and Drake’s fashion brand have teamed up several times now, with the letterman jacket being a play on an existing product customized by team. However, it’s unclear if the Super Bowl variant will be publicly available.

Montana was chosen due to his unique connection to Super Bowl LVIII. The two-time MVP played for just two teams during his career – the 49ers and the Chiefs. While he won all four of his Super Bowls in the Bay Area, he did led the Chiefs to the AFC Championship game during his first season in Kansas City. The Super Bowl takes place on February 11 in Las Vegas. The Chiefs are hoping to become the first repeat Super Bowl champions since the Patriots in 2005.

Drake Reveals How Much A Trip On His Private Jet Costs

However, collabing with the NFL is not the only thing that Drake has been up to lately. The rapper also recently revealed to Adin Ross how much people need to cough up to catch a ride on “Air Drake”, Drizzy’s luxury private jet. Per a dial-in to Ross’ recent stream, the rapper revealed that prospective passengers have to put $3M up to come aboard and jet set with him.

Air Drake is a customized Boeing 767-200 that Drizzy acquired through a commercial partnership with Cargojet. It features a sky blue and white livery designed by Drake’s late friend, Virgil Abloh. The fully customized interior has been likened to a five-star hotel and features at least three private suites and two living rooms. Drake and Cargojet entered into their arrangement in 2019. It has since appeared across Drake’s socials and in several of his music videos.

Well, they found the perfect occasion as Gatorade is coming through with a new Gatorade iD platform today. This is a free membership platform that allows consumers to customize their own bottles and gear. Moreover, it will allow those users to get access to some surprise drops and other exclusive items. Overall, it is a massive launch for the brand, and Khaled has developed a collection of gear to kick things off.

“I’ve loved Gatorade since I was a kid and to this day, I have it in the studio with me to fuel my creativity,” Khaled explained. “I’m so blessed they gave me the keys to create this legendary capsule. Gatorade, We The Best and Jordan Brand…we all icons and this is just proof.” Below, you can see there is a Jordan Brand We The Best hoodie, a towel, and a bottle, that are all customized to Khaled’s specifications.
