Jack Harlow sort of reinvented himself with his previous Jackman. release. He got away from the radio-friendly hits and saw him bust out more thought-provoking cuts. It was an unexpected curveball for the Louisville, Kentucky rapper and it was arguably the best project he has in his discography. Now, he is back and this may make fans groan or rejoice.

“First Class” took the music and social media world by storm. Jack’s twist on Fergie’s “Glamorous” had a lot of people buzzing for good and bad reasons. But, as of today, it sits at over 739 million streams on Spotify. For his comeback, Harlow decided to take this same approach and redo a fan favorite. This time, he tackles Drake and Lil Wayne’s, “The Motto,” with “Lovin On Me.”

Lil Durk Adopts A Lil Wayne Flow On “Smurk Center”

Lil Durk has never been on the same track with Lil Wayne. However, this song could change that moving forward. Honestly, it is quite surprising that both of them have not worked together. It feels like their styles could mesh very well. But alas we do not have one yet. However, with “Smurk Center” out, maybe this will get Weezy’s attention.

We say that because if you take a listen to Durk’s new song, it is fairly clear who he was inspired by for it. Even the inflection in his voice has hints of the Louisiana rapper in it. The biggest nod has to come from the flow, though. There is something about the cadence that just evokes classic Wayne.

Dugg also failed to serve a six-month sentence following a 2020 federal gun investigation. That is all over now and he is ready to get back into the studio and feed the fans what they want.

He did just that. His first wish was to hit the recording booth. One can assume this latest track, “Go Again,” is a result of that studio session. What might settle that idea is that the accompanying music video includes footage of Dugg and Gotti embracing outside of the prison walls. Now that he is a free man, he sounds as hungry as ever.
