Trontavious Stephens’ YSL Testimony Leaves Us Laughing As He Evades Snitching Questions

We knew there would be some serious antics unfolding in court throughout the YSL RICO trial, but we couldn’t possibily have predicted this much of a fiasco. Over a year and a half after Young Thug was first arrested in Atlanta, he remains behind bars, with court proceedings only kicking off in the final weeks of 2023. Unfortuntaely, the stabbing of a co-defendant put a brief pause of things ahead of the holiday season, but as the new year began, so too did Thugger’s fight for his freedom.

The latest updates from Fulton County confirm that the label’s co-founder, Trontavious Stephens, is among the latest to give his testimony after previously accepting a plea deal. On Wednesday (January 3), he spoke about YSL being an organization that’s about “the music,” not commiting crimes. As Fox 5 Atlanta notes, part of Stephens’ agreement with the prosecution is that he’s required to testify “truthfully and without invoking his Fifth Amendment right.” While he did admit to gang involvement dating back as early as his teenage years, the witness did everything in his power to evade questions about snitching.

Young Thug’s Former Co-Defandant Gives His Testimony as YSL Trial Resumes

“What does snitching mean to you?” a female voice asks Stephens in the video above. “It doesn’t mean anything to me,” he responds after taking a moment to carefully consider his words. “But I’m aware of the term,” he acknowledges, speaking the truth, as promised. “What is the meaning of the term?” prosecutors further press him, to which Trontavious simply shakes his head. “The definition?” she continues. “It doesn’t mean anything to me but I’m aware of the term,” the YSL leader reiterates.

Even though he’s approaching two years of being behind bars on his YSL RICO charges, Young Thug remains optimistic about the future. Now that he’s back in court, the So Much Fun hitmaker’s social media pages are lighting up with teasers of his latest creative project – a clothing brand. Read more about that at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Wack 100 Insinuates Cash Money Was Behind B.G. Snitching Accusations

As of late, Wack 100 has been going after B.G., accusing the Hot Boys performer of being a “snitch.” B.G. as well as several of his fans and peers have denied the allegations. “The internet undefeated and truth don’t need no cosigner,” according to B.G. Regardless, Wack 100 is sticking by his comments. He claims that wouldn’t have said anything about the alleged snitching if he didn’t have a reliable source.

During a recent conversation on Clubhouse, he went into further detail, seemingly suggesting that Cash Money Records could have been involved. “One thing you gotta understand, n***a, I get five Cash Money budgets every year,” he described. “Understand the politics for me to be saying it, you gotta know where I got it from and where the work comes from. Slow down and use your brain, n***a.”

Wack 100 Says “The Green Had To Come From His Backyard”

He continued, insisting that had he not trusted his source, he wouldn’t have gone public with the snitching accusations. “Use your brain for me to openly say it,” he explained. “The green had to come from his backyard. Use your brain. For Wack to openly say it as loud as I’m saying it — it had to come from one spot. You can’t be slow.”

Wack 100 went on, urging critics of the allegations to consider his circumstances before making any judgments. “If that n***a was ratting and it didn’t come from the right place, I wouldn’t jeopardize $5 million, I’d be quiet. Use your brain. I wouldn’t do it. I wouldn’t say sh*t. It come from right there, n***a. That’s a fact. The work and everything, n***a. From right there to my phone,” he added. B.G. has addressed the snitching allegations involving him on social media, explaining that he’s not phased by the narrative. Pop Austin Media posted an interview clip of B.G. discussing his response on Wednesday. Among the voices to spread the idea was Wack 100.

“At first, I was feeling some type of way,” B.G. admitted in the interview. “But, you know, the n***as who opinion matters reached out to me. B.G. Addresses Snitching Allegations

While he only just responded to Wack 100 spreading the snitching accusations online, many others have come to B.G’s defense. Boosie Badazz, for one, labeled Wack a clown for a post on Instagram featuring B.G. Wack also has said that Birdman got heated at him for the claim. The rapper got out of prison, earlier this year, after being sentenced to 14 years back in 2012. He pled guilty to two counts of possession of a firearm and one count of conspiracy to obstruct justice. Be on the lookout for further updates on B.G. on HotNewHipHop.

Wack100 has claimed that he received a heated call from Birdman after he called B.G. a “rat”. “He bitin the hand huh?” Wack said of Birdman as he addressed the confrontation between the two of them. “I ain’t answering Birdman’s calls. I answer yesterday and he light me up. Tried to get me on No Jumper,” Wack continued.

However, fans weren’t feeling Wack’s accusations. “Cheese grater face need to sit down, BG did 14 years that man is not a snitch. Boosie Badazz Addresses Lawsuit Backlash, Claims People Don’t Call 50 Cent A “Snitch” For Suing

Boosie has taken aim at the people calling him a “snitch” for suing multiple rappers in recent weeks. “To those people calling me a snitch for suing…They the same people that want you to go to shoot somebody behind this. They would rather you go shoot somebody instead of sue somebody. Cuz they wanna holler ‘Free Boosie’ so they get likes. It’s called ‘tricking you off the streets’. I woke up to my DM the other day like ‘Boosie you fake now man. You supposed to shoot that [expletive][expletive] up’,” Boosie said on a recent livestream.

Furthermore, Boosie argued that people don’t make the same comments about 50 Cent. “When people do the sh-t to 50 Cent and 50 sue they a–, do y’all call him a snitch for suing? Or do y’all laugh and applaud it?” Boosie asked. The most recent target of Boosie’s legal ire was Rod Wave. According to Boosie, Wave used a sample without permission. “That n-gga Rod Wave ain’t pull up on me. I don’t own the song fully, I own a percentage of it. I still have publishing in it and writer’s credits. So, I guess when he found out that, he don’t want to give me nothing. We going to court. Nobody contacted me. Nobody gave me my publishing. Nobody gave me my writer’s credit. How you clear it, when you ain’t clear it with me?” Boosie explained in a recent livestream.

Boosie Reveals Pre-Lawsuit Offer For Rod Wave

Meanwhile, Boosie also revealed the offer he had made to Wave to avoid a lawsuit. According to Boosie, he asked for $200K and 25% of the track’s onward profits. Furthermore, Boosie implied that Wave had submitted a counteroffer and explained that he hadn’t cleared the sample with his own label, let alone Boosie’s team. It remains unclear if Boosie is going ahead with his lawsuit as a result.

However, Boosie isn’t the only one handing out lawsuits. In a recent stream, Boosie revealed that he was the subject of two lawsuits. The first was a wrongful death suit over an incident that occurred near a 2017 music video shoot. The second suit stems from a brawl that broke out during a Legendz Of The Street Tour performance in Atlanta in 2021. Boosie has expressed his frustration with both suits, arguing that they don’t make sense as he wasn’t directly involved in either of them. Despite this, both suits have been filed and are thus a developing story.

FBG Butta Slams Adam22 For Calling Him A “Zesty” Snitch

Lately, FBG Butta’s been making his rounds, claiming to have robbed Adam22 and No Jumper in various interviews. Adam22 has taken to social media to address the rapper’s claims, denying that Butta actually took anything. The host went on to accuse him of snitching, noting that if he was able to lie about scamming him so easily, it’s likely that he lied about that as well.

Adam threw a few jabs at the rapper in the process, claiming that whether or not he’s “zesty” remains up for debate. He also said that he had a lengthy conversation with Butta recently, which saw him swear that he’s an honest person. Adam appears to be confused by the entire situation, calling FBG Butta some kind of “sociopathic liar” and advising others not to believe a word he says.

FBG Butta’s Response To Adam22

FBG Butta fired back shortly after Adam shared his take. According to him, he has receipts to prove he “scammed” No Jumper, despite the internet personality’s claims. He turned the tables on him, accusing him of being the one lying about the situation. It’s unclear when Butta plans to drop the receipts, however, fans are eagerly awaiting them. Unfortunately, this is far from the first beef Adam22’s gotten wrapped up in as of late. Last week, Shoebox Baby called him out for mentioning him during his interview with Sidney Starr, claiming that he’d rather he stop speaking on him altogether.

“Don’t put my name in none of that s**t, gang,” Shoebox Baby told Adam. “If it got something to do with some punk s**t, some b***h s**t, some snitch s**t, don’t say my name with that s**t. I know it be all fun and games, but don’t be playing like that, man.” What do you think of FBG Butta’s response to Adam22? Quando Rondo Thinks Someone In His Circle Snitched On Him

Recently, Quando Rondo took to social media to call out someone in his crew who he believes snitched on him. The rapper was arrested back in June for allegedly violating Georgia’s Street Gang Terrorism Act. He was later released on bond, allowing him to continue working. At the end of September, Georgia prosecutors tried to have him banned from his hometown of Savannah, arguing that he’s a frequent target for gun violence. Fortunately for the 24-year-old, a judge recently denied the motion, meaning he’s not barred from entering Chatham County. He’s currently facing various drug and gang charges.

He shared his snitching accusations in an Instagram Story earlier today, noting that legal documents are what have led him to come to this conclusion. “I aint fw nobody right now !” he began, “I dont want nobody with my number right now ! I got one of the [best] lawyers and private investigators on my team this discovery nd paperwork done open my eyes one of yall n***as in the circle been talking thats why i cut all ties im innocent !”

Quando Rondo Maintains His Innocence

“They gone say who lul bruh talking bout im talking bout everybody im putting this out there so everybody can see this yall n***as hell im to solid to fold !” he continued. “I dont want no beef with you ima str8 up tell you in yo face you got it im scared of you.” While it remains unclear who exactly the artist is referring to, fans are, of course, speculating in the comments section.

In July, Quando Rondo was involved in a high-speed car accident in Georgia while out on bond. Reportedly, he was given Narcan by first responders at the scene because he was exhibiting signs of an overdose. At the time, prosecutors pushed for his bond to be revoked, however, a judge ruled in his favor. What do you think of Quando Rondo accusing someone in his crew of snitching on him? Glokknine Stabbed In Prison Over Snitching Rumors, 1090 Jake Alleges

During a recent interview with VladTV, 1090 Jake spoke on Glokknine. The rapper is currently serving seven years behind bars for gun charges, identity theft, and more. According to the internet personality, he hasn’t been faring so well in prison. 1090 Jake alleges that Glokknine was stabbed by another inmate recently, which he says he learned from the Orlando native’s girlfriend.

He went on to explain why he believes the rapper was stabbed, claiming that Ola Runt was behind it. He had Tweeted something with rat emojis, suggesting that Glokknine snitched on somebody. “Damn Glokk9 you went out bad [rat emojis],” the Tweet reads. The rumor got out of hand, leading to some tension among the inmates. 1090 Jake looked into his paperwork, noting that his plea deal included a section stating that if the rapper cooperated with authorities, he could be shown more leniency.

1090 Jake Speaks On Glokknine’s Alleged Prison Stabbing

Though Glokknine did sign the agreement, 1090 Jake says that prosecutors admitted he didn’t cooperate at any point. He adds that they later came out with an amended plea agreement with that section removed. “She believes that this is where the allegations came from,” he says of Glokknine’s girlfriend. “Apparently he got moved on inside of the federal prison because someone sent in that first plea without sending in the amended [plea].”

These aren’t the only false snitching allegations 1090 Jake has spoken on as of late, however. During the interview, he also shut down rumors that Ralo snitched. According to him, Ralo allegedly tried to pay others to take the fall for fake crimes. This was in an attempt to reduce his own sentence, however, it didn’t work out. What do you think of 1090 Jake’s claim that Glokknine was allegedly stabbed in prison because Ola Runt called him a snitch? 1090 Jake Allegedly Has $100K On His Head, Claims Ralo Didn’t Snitch

1090 Jake has made a name for himself in the world of hip hop through his coverage of high-profile artist’s legal troubles. The internet personality frequently puts rappers on blast for allegedly “snitching,” which it turns out, they aren’t fans of. According to him, there are a lot of people who want his voice to be silenced, and some of them are willing to go to great lengths.

During a recent interview with VladTV, 1090 Jake opened up about his newfound “villain” status, noting how he was set on avoiding drama by not being a rapper. Unfortunately, his current path hasn’t saved him any of the trouble that comes along with that kind of career, and may have actually caused him more. He even says he once heard that he has a $100K bounty on his head. As for where the rumors originated, he says he isn’t sure. “I don’t think the city would matter. I think it’s just wherever, f*ckin’ $100k is $100k,” 1090 Jake explained following the revelation. “It’s just rumors that just floated in my direction but it’s like, you know, that’s what comes with the YouTube world. You make more enemies than you know of.”

1090 Jake Speaks On The Downsides Of His Career

Elsewhere in the interview, 1090 Jake was asked about Ralo. The Atlanta-born performer’s currently behind bars for various money laundering, drug, and gun charges. Earlier this year, his paperwork leaked, resulting in him getting hit with his own set of snitching allegations. According to 1090 Jake, however, the allegations are false.

The personality alleges that Ralo tried to pay someone to take fake charges in attempts to get his own sentence reduced, but his plan never worked out. Fortunately for Ralo, he’s scheduled to be released next month. What do you think of 1090 Jake allegedly having $100K on his head? How about his claims that Ralo didn’t snitch?
