Rick Ross Takes Aim At 1090 Jake Following Recent Threats Amid Drake Feud

Rick Ross is someone who is currently in the midst of various feuds. Of course, he is currently in a beef with the likes of Drake. This has led to some back-and-forth shots, particularly on social media. However, in songs, Drake dissed Ross on “Push Ups,” while Ross delivered a quick response with “Champagne Moments.” Needless to say, there is something in the air right now as it pertains to the rap world. This is especially true as fans await an official response from Kendrick Lamar, who threw the first shot on “Like That.”

Now, 1090 Jake is getting involved. The online media personality has been known to leak paperwork that showcases when an artist is snitching. Overall, this always leads to some sort of tit-for-tat or prolonged drama on Instagram. This time around, Jake decided to go after Ross for his time as a Correctional Officer. Ross stated that he was in training for four months and eventually quit. However, 1090 Jake claims he was a C.O. for much longer. He even threatened to leak footage of Ross as a C.O. Some footage has even leaked online, although its veracity is suspect, to say the least.

In the tweets above, you can see that Ross fired back at 1090 Jake numerous times. In these instances, he claimed that 1090 Jake was a rat. Furthermore, he kept calling him a white boy, much like he was doing to Drake. It was all in line with what Ross has been doing lately. He is in peak trolling mode right now, and he is showing no signs of actually slowing down. Only time will tell whether or not he makes nice with any of his new enemies.

1090 Jake Threatens To Leak Rick Ross’ Correctional Officer Confession, Defends Drake

Rick Ross and Drake haven’t been on the best of terms as of late, ever since Drizzy appeared to go after Rozay on his leaked diss track, “Push Ups (Drop and Give Me 50).” Ross didn’t waste any time at all with his response, “Champagne Moments.” In the song, he accuses Drake of getting a nose job, refers to him as “white boy,” and more. This has caused a bit of online back and forth between the two performers in recent days and prompted countless social media users to pick sides in the feud.

1090 Jake, for example, quickly took to social media to side with Drake. Moreover, he threatened to release a video which he claims contains a confession from Rick Ross. The video in question allegedly exposes his past as a correctional officer. “Since he keep callin @champagnepapi a Whiteboy He woke the Real Whiteboy up [laughing emoji] yall want this video?,” the internet personality wrote earlier today. “He said he only lasted 4 months but the paperwork says 95-97 with a Perfect Attendance lmk.”

While some of his followers are rooting for him, others are calling 1090 Jake out for getting involved in other people’s drama. Many also note that Rick Ross’ past as a correctional officer is already widely known. 1090 Jake Named In YNW Melly Case After Exposing Private Investegator

1090 Jake has become the most recent person swept up into YNW Melly’s upcoming retrial. The rapper’s second time facing murder charges is still early in the pretrial process. Jury selection is underway and the judge is weighing the validity of new evidence presented by the prosecution. Last month, the judge ruled that a number of the new pieces of evidence needed to be restricted, including some text messages sent the night of the alleged murders.

In another section of evidence, the state is trying to introduce, 1090 Jake and a number of his YouTube videos are named. The blogger became tangentially involved in the case when he exposed undercover detective Danny Polo. In a refutation of the attempt to introduce the videos into evidence the defense called Polo a “crazed fan” who can’t keep Jake’s name out of his mouth. The judge has yet to rule on whether the YouTube videos cited by the prosecution will be allowed into evidence. Check out the official legal filings by the defense below.

This is the second piece of new information to come out about the Melly case in the past few days. It follows yet another delay in the trial pushing it back a few weeks from February into March. The retrial date has been repeatedly delayed from its originally scheduled date in October and Melly has remained behind bars the entire time. In fact, the rapper hasn’t been free since his arrest in 2018. He’s spent more than 5 years in prison despite not being charged with any crime.

Melly’s second trial arrives after his long-awaited first one ended in a mistrial. After weeks of testimony and days of deliberating the jury couldn’t come to a definitive conclusion about his guilt. Expressing his discontent with what he perceives as a breach of street code, calling him a snitch. 600Breezy issued a direct threat, promising to confront King Yella physically. “When I catch you, I’ma beat TF out of you,” 600Breezy said in a video posted to IG. “You suppose to spin the police, you a goofy. And i’ll pull up to Vegas, however you wanna do it. Yous a goofy.”

1090 Jake’s New Papers Claim King Yella Named Offset & Lil Durk As Gang Members

1090 Jake is back with some more vigilante work in the hip-hop space, accusing King Yella of snitching. What’s more is that he actually has alleged receipts this time, as he published a transcript of an interrogation that Las Vegas police conducted with Yella. In it, he allegedly names Offset, Lil Durk, 600 Breezy, and Smurk’s affiliate Snap Dogg as gang members, of which you can see each individual claim in the post below. Overall, these are pretty hefty accusations and not a good look at all for Yella considering the alleged paperwork– if you care about this kind of thing, of course. Some couldn’t care less, but you can’t deny that this watchdog mentality found an audience online.

Furthermore, this is pretty curious because Lil Durk and 1090 Jake actually have a relatively solid relationship, or at least they appear to be. For example, this is mostly based on the former’s new compilation project with his OTF collective, Nightmare In The Trenches. “Deeski beat his body, he the man / Even though the witness took the stand (Yeah) / 1090 Jake on the ‘Gram / Blastin’ snitchin’, show it to the fam’ (Yeah),” Durkio raps on “Eyes Red.” As such, maybe Jake wanted to particularly call King Yella out in order to stand up for him, although that’s probably a stretch considering the other names involved here.

However, another angle to consider with this story is that King Yella and 600 Breezy have beef, which the latter has no interest in resolving. “Aye Yella, I’ma tell you one more time and it’s the last time I’ma tell you,” he expressed on social media. “Stop messin’ with me, gang, and stop mentioning, bro. Why the f**k? What is me sitting down with your big, goofy a** gonna do for the city of Chicago? Be for real, bro. Me and your block not even into it. Y’all steady wanna push this fake-a**, tiddy-biddy beefin’. That’s not what the f**k is goin’ on in the streets. We beefin’ off sets, we beefin’ off blocks. You hung with the n***as that we was beefin’ with and you wanna put yourself in it with like, stop doin’ that, gang.”

Lil Durk Gives 1090 Jake A Shout-Out On New Track “Eyes Red”

Earlier this week, Lil Durk and his OTF group dropped off their new LP, Nightmare In The Trenches. The release came only a few months after Durk’s eighth studio album Almost Healed, also arriving amid his previously-announced feature run. So far, fans are impressed with the 11-track offering, and quickly turned their attention to one song in particular, “Eyes Red.”

Listeners noticed that they name-drop internet personality 1090 Jake on one of the verses. “Deeski beat his body, he the man / Even though the witness took the stand (Yeah) / 1090 Jake on the ‘Gram /
Blastin’ snitchin’, show it to the fam’ (Yeah),” the lyrics read. 1090 Jake is known for finding people’s paperwork and exposing them online, usually for snitching.

Lil Durk & OTF – “Eyes Red”

While clearly Durk doesn’t have a problem with the controversial figure, a lot of people do. He sat down with VladTV at the end of last month, revealing that putting people on blast comes with quite a few downsides. According to him, he even allegedly has a $100K bounty on his head. “I don’t think the city would matter. I think it’s just wherever, f*ckin’ $100k is $100k,” he added. “It’s just rumors that just floated in my direction but it’s like, you know, that’s what comes with the YouTube world. You make more enemies than you know of.”

1090 Jake doesn’t only expose people for snitching, however. He also occasionally comes forward in defense of those accused of snitching, providing paperwork that proves otherwise. He came to Ralo’s defense during the interview, for example, arguing that people misinterpreted his paperwork, resulting in false snitching allegations. 1090 Jake alleged that Ralo actually tried to pay people to take charges so that he could cooperate with authorities to shorten his sentence. Glokknine Stabbed In Prison Over Snitching Rumors, 1090 Jake Alleges

During a recent interview with VladTV, 1090 Jake spoke on Glokknine. The rapper is currently serving seven years behind bars for gun charges, identity theft, and more. According to the internet personality, he hasn’t been faring so well in prison. 1090 Jake alleges that Glokknine was stabbed by another inmate recently, which he says he learned from the Orlando native’s girlfriend.

He went on to explain why he believes the rapper was stabbed, claiming that Ola Runt was behind it. He had Tweeted something with rat emojis, suggesting that Glokknine snitched on somebody. “Damn Glokk9 you went out bad [rat emojis],” the Tweet reads. The rumor got out of hand, leading to some tension among the inmates. 1090 Jake looked into his paperwork, noting that his plea deal included a section stating that if the rapper cooperated with authorities, he could be shown more leniency.

Though Glokknine did sign the agreement, 1090 Jake says that prosecutors admitted he didn’t cooperate at any point. He adds that they later came out with an amended plea agreement with that section removed. “She believes that this is where the allegations came from,” he says of Glokknine’s girlfriend. “Apparently he got moved on inside of the federal prison because someone sent in that first plea without sending in the amended [plea].”

These aren’t the only false snitching allegations 1090 Jake has spoken on as of late, however. During the interview, he also shut down rumors that Ralo snitched. According to him, Ralo allegedly tried to pay others to take the fall for fake crimes. This was in an attempt to reduce his own sentence, however, it didn’t work out. 1090 Jake Says Tory Lanez’s Celebrity Status Won’t Help Him In Prison

1090 Jake says that Tory Lanez’s status as a celebrity won’t help him when it comes to being an inmate in California State Prison. He discussed what the Toronto rapper is looking at with his 10-year prison sentence during an interview with VladTV. He began by noting that, considering the charges, the sentence isn’t too bad.

“The fact that he has to do it in California State Prison, that’s very unfortunate,” Jake further admitted. “They’re very political. You don’t have the opportunity to be the celebrity in there. If you’re general population, and it pops off, you’re required to get involved. You have to pick up a knife. You have to. It’s mandatory. So, the situation he’s in now, he has to basically forget about being a celebrity.”

Legal affairs journalist Meghann Cuniff, who has been covering Lanez’s case throughout the trial, discussed the concern about his safety on Twitter, Sunday. She wrote: “This is why protective custody exists. Someone who’s been to prison three times told me, ‘They (CDC) will never allow that dude to walk mainline, level 4 or 3 for sure, they would kill him his first day on the yard. … Cali is stacked with hitters. 1090 Jake Continues To Refute Snitching Allegations

1090 Jake has made a living by putting other people on blast for “snitching.” Earlier this week, however, the internet personality was called into question after some of his own alleged “snitching” surfaced. A letter handwritten by 1090 Jake from his time behind bars went public, leading many to believe that he told on a fellow inmate. He’s since denied this, emphasizing that a complaint is different than snitching. He also went live with Riem for No Jumper, claiming that he broke down the situation in a YouTube video years ago.

“This ain’t no new story,” he said on Live. Despite his claims, he’s continued to be hit with an endless amount of criticism online. This is mainly due to the fact that he’s “exposed” so many others for their “rat” behavior in the past. Lawyer Bradford Cohen, who’s represented a slew of people in the rap game like Drake, DMX, YNW Melly, Kodak Black, and more, recently took to Instagram to weigh in.

“This story is strange,” Cohen began. “[1090 Jake] wanted an interview with kodak about his feature on a record. When he didn’t do the interview, this guy came out and said that somehow kodak told on jail guards, when I filed a lawsuit against guards (part of the basis for the commutation) for failing to allow kodak access to religious leaders and abuse, that was telling. Meanwhile, I just got DMs from a person with docs where [1090 Jake] gave a SWORN statement as a witness in a shooting and gave a statement to police about other ind.s.”

1090 Jake clapped back in a comment on his post. “You a lawyer,” he wrote. “Request that shooting case and see nobody existed in that case.” The internet personality continued, calling for Cohen to “talk bout why Kodak ain’t come out his cell.” It’s clear that those impacted by 1090 Jake’s “snitching” exposés in the past won’t be letting his own allegations slide any time soon.
