Tyrese Believes Snoop Dogg Is A More Famous Rapper Than Jay-Z

Tyrese was the latest guest on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, and we’re sure that it will make for another explosive episode. In fact, the former even proclaimed that it will make about as much of a splash as the Katt Williams interview did, which is certainly a tall order. However, one thing that might be more controversial and debatable than this assessment relates to one of their many discussions. At one point during their conversation, the duo landed on the topic of Snoop Dogg and Jay-Z, and decided to debate which of the two hip-hop superstars is more of a globally famous celebrity.

“Who’s a bigger rapper globally? Most famous of the two. Jay-Z or Snoop Dogg?” Tyrese asked. “If Jay-Z and Snoop Dogg were in a mall in Moscow, who would shut the mall down? [Snoop Dogg is the] biggest f***ing superstar in the world. That’s my big homie. Long Beach, West Coast, I wish a motherf***er would.” We know that Snoop and the actor/singer are very good friends, with both of them supporting each other through some tough personal hardships over recent months.

Tyrese & Shannon Sharpe Debate Whether Snoop Dogg Or Jay-Z Is The Most Famous Rapper

As for Snoop Dogg and Jay-Z, they don’t cross over often, but they do share a lot of common collaborators, institutions, and goals. For example, they will both appear in Pharrell’s upcoming LEGO film alongside other MCs like Kendrick Lamar, playing fictionalized mini-figure versions of themselves. Elsewhere, they don’t have much of a collaborative history or strong links, but they definitely respect each other to the highest degree as rap legends. After all, they are arguably the two biggest faces of the genre and represent it – for better or worse – at the highest mainstream commercial levels.

Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg had previously joked about not being invited to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation brunch, so maybe that informs a bit of this “Who’s more famous?” discussion. “They know when I walk in, my outfit is going to turn everything out. So they like, ‘Keep that n***a away,’” he said during a podcast interview. Jokes aside, we wonder if we will see these two hip-hop icons link up in some way in the near future, or if their paths will focus more on their individual exploits.

Tyrese Hilariously Roasts Shannon Sharpe For Infamous Car Video

Today, Shannon Sharpe dropped a new episode of Club Shay Shay featuring Tyrese, which expectedly arrived full of interesting moments. At one point in the interview, for example, Tyrese referenced a clip of Sharpe getting out of a car, which quickly went viral earlier this year. In it, he rocks an all-green outfit with a bright orange bag and awkwardly walks away from the car to meet fans.

“You walked your a** out like you were supposed to see a chiropractor that week,” Tyrese said of the video. “That motherf*cker had a different kind of wiggle.” After roasting Sharpe for the video briefly, he came to his defense, noting that sitting in a car for a long time can’t be easy for an ex-NFL player at his height.

Tyrese On The Truth About Social Media

Tyrese went on, also recalling how the video resulted in a ton of clowning and speculation about Sharpe’s sexuality online. He said that while celebrities often get frustrated by this kind of thing, it’s on them for having put their business out there. “I’ve said and done some d*mb-a** sh*t on social media,” he explained. “But guess what, if I’ve got a problem with what people got to say about me, get off the internet… You ain’t hear no rumors about Denzel, cuz he ain’t on the Gram.”

“At the end of the day, when you invite people into your life and your world, then why are you mad that they’re gonna misunderstand you, twist your words, beat you up when they disagree with you, create who you are and what your intentions are?” he also added. What do you think of Tyrese’s recent appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay? What about him roasting Sharpe for the awkward video of him that went viral this year? Rick Ross Reveals Why He Responded To Drake And Not The Game

Amid the viral 20 V. 1 Drake beef of the summer, Rick Ross jumped in, taking various shots at the Toronto hitmaker on “Champagne Moments.” Of course, his taunting appeared to backfire soon after, when he was attacked in Vancouver for playing Kendrick’s Drake diss “Not Like Us” at a festival. He opened up about the feud with Shannon Sharpe for Nightcap Summer Sessions from Houston this week, making it clear why he decided to respond in the first place.

“On some rap sh*t it was no conspiracies,” he began. “Rozay name was said, Rozay, I’mma jump off the porch. That’s what I do… I’mma jump off the porch and I’mma have some fun, and that’s what I did, I had some fun.” From there, Ross also explained how he decides whether or not to respond, an apparent nod to The Game.

Rozay Says Not Responding Is A Response

The Game unleashed a scathing diss track directed at Ross in May, “Freeway’s Revenge,” blasting him for his past as a correctional officer, lifestyle choices, and much more. Ross never responded aside from some shady Instagram Stories, but according to him, this was a response in itself. During the interview, Ross explained that his choice to respond or not respond is determined by whether or not he has something to gain from it. “Not responding is a response when you a boss,” he added.

The Game isn’t the only person Rick Ross has yet to respond to, however. The Drake fan who attacked him in Vancouver, Icarus, mocked him for the brawl on a diss track called “White Boy” earlier this month. What do you think of Rick Ross opening up about his beef with Drake during a recent interview with Shannon Sharpe? What about his explanation for responding to Drake and not The Game? Do you agree that not responding was a response in itself? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Tyrese Hints That His Upcoming Interview With Shannon Sharpe Could Do “Katt Williams Numbers”

Tyrese is a pretty interesting character. That can be attributed to the Californian actor and singer’s video clips, quotes, troubling relationships, and antics. Overall, all of these factors have made him quite the controversial pop culture figure in the eyes of a lot of people online. However, in that same breath, its lead him to receiving lots of interview requests, which have to be paying him pretty handsomely. Shannon Sharpe clearly sees what’s going on with Tyrese as of late, and its why we are getting a Club Shay Shay interview very soon.

In fact, the episode is currently in the middle of its premiere at the time of writing. Sharpe teased the interview on the Club Shay Shay Instagram account late last night, saying that they will be discussing their “internet-breaking videos”. They both have a lot of them, so it should be a ton of fun. However, Tyrese is taking it a step further, according to theJasmineBrand.

In a short video clip, he believes that if the Club Shay Shay producers air their entire episode, then it could do “Katt Williams” numbers. At the time of writing, Katt’s viral and unhinged sit-down has over 73.5 million views and its one of the most-watched interviews on the platform. So, it will be a tall task if that was the goal for Tyrese, and fans seem to think he’s doing too much. “I don’t know if it’s Tyrese or his ego, but one of them is draining😩”, one user expresses. “He should’ve just let the interview speak for itself 🤦🏾‍♂️ Now the expectation will be too high and it won’t do as well 🤷🏾‍♂️”, another predicts. There should still be plenty to dissect, so be sure to stick around for more updates on this interview.

What are your thoughts on Tyrese gassing up his upcoming interview with Shannon Sharpe? Do you agree with fans that he needs a break from social media? Does this make you want to tune in when it does drop? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. DL Hughley Explains Why He Will Never Be On Shannon Sharpe’s “Predatory” Podcast

D.L. Hughley was one of many comedians that had something big to say about the 2024 interview that keeps on giving. Moreover, during a recent sit-down interview with DJ Vlad on VladTV, he expressed why he thinks that Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast became “predatory” with the Katt Williams interview and why he’d never go on it. Principally, the comedian came to this conclusion because it didn’t fairly characterize the relationships that most comedians have with each other.

“I think that, like any other endeavor, there are jealousies, idiosyncrasies,” D.L. Hughley’s comments on Shannon Sharpe began. “But I don’t think that’s indicative of the experiences that most of us have. After the Katt Williams interview, which was a phenomenon, he kept trying to replicate it. ‘Let me bring on somebody else to have a beef.’ Like, I can understand it was a phenomenon. But then, all of a sudden, you try to replicate it.

D.L. Hughley Speaks On Shannon Sharpe & Club Shay Shay

“To me, just like you love what you do, he love what he does,” D.L Hughley continued concerning Shannon Sharpe. “For me, as a matter of principle, it is too messy. Now, I think it’s morphed into something else because I think that brook has run dry. But for me, it’s just all of those people I saw on there were people who wanted to go on there because of what happened on Undisputed. The way Skip did him made me and a lot of other Black people go ‘F**k this, we’re going to make sure this brother’s okay.’

“But then you take that and the very people that got there first, I think, were damaged by the first iteration of what went on,” D.L. Hughley concluded. “For me, I would never do it. I was going to do it a long time ago. Honestly, before that happened, I had been slated to do it a couple of different times. I just didn’t. I’m glad he’s making his money, I’m glad he’s doing what he’s doing. I’m not jealous or hateful. It’s just a personal thing I wouldn’t do. And people can say, ‘Why you do Vlad and not him?’ I f**k with you. [He] don’t need me anyway. And he was my favorite football player ever. He’s my favorite tight-end ever, ever.”

Shannon Sharpe’s Kendrick Lamar And Drake Stance Leads To An Admission From John Cena

Shannon Sharpe brought up the viral feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake during a recent interview with John Cena on Club Shay Shay. In doing so, he explained why he feels Lamar won the beef, which prompted the WWE legend to reveal he hasn’t listened to hip-hop in many years. “I know nothing about this,” Cena admitted. “All I know is the headlines. I’m the one person, the one breathing human being who did not hear bar one of this beef. I haven’t heard any music, any tracks, nothing, so this is all new to me. Who won?”

Sharpe began by bringing up Lamar’s diss track, “Not Like Us.” “They play it all the time,” he said. “There’s not gonna be a football game, a basketball game, or anything that you go to where the home team is winning where you’re not gonna hear, ‘They’re not like us.’ Kendrick won. Isn’t it the most-played diss in history already? I think it’s the biggest song this summer.”

From there, Cena explained that Drake is one of the last rappers he remembers listening to before he moved away from his interest in hip-hop. “I kinda drifted away from hip-hop right around Drake and I always thought Drake is extremely talented,” he said. “Again, I love wordplay. I think his stuff is very well thought out, I think he’s very poetic, I like the way he adds music into the songs. I don’t have enough depth of field to evaluate anybody current. He was like the last one where it becomes fade to nothingness.”

Shannon Sharpe Reveals His True Feelings On Skip Bayless Leaving “Undisputed”

Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless had a pretty horrendous falling out a few months ago. Overall, this was all because of Skip’s continued disrespect on Undisputed. Fans were getting sick and tired of it, and so was Shannon. Subsequently, Sharpe decided it was time for him to leave. Once he did so, he went over to ESPN and First Take where he is now good friends with Stephen A Smith. Meanwhile, Bayless is set to fade into obscurity sooner rather than later.

It was recently announced that Skip would no longer be on FS1 come next year. His contract is running out and he will not be renewing. There is a ton of speculation as to what he will do next although many believe he should retire. As for Shannon Sharpe, well, he gave his thoughts on all of this on “Nightcap,” his show with Chad Ochocinco. Below, you can see that Sharpe took a diplomatic approach while speaking on all of this.

Shannon Sharpe Speaks Out

Sharpe noted that he is grateful for the opportunity Bayless gave him. Furthermore, he was adamant that he wanted Skip to succeed. However, he knew that they could no longer succeed on the same show together. It was a mature approach and one that Bayless probably wouldn’t have taken himself. Either way, it is going to be interesting to see how Skip moves forward with this new chapter of his career. If one thing is for sure, he has been surpassed by Sharpe in every possible metric.

Let us know how you feel about Shannon Sharpe’s comments, down below. Do you believe that he is being too kind to Skip here? How did you feel about the end of Undisputed? Did Skip do Shannon dirty in the end? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the entertainment world. Skip Bayless Receives Sobering Update From ESPN

Skip Bayless will reportedly not be getting invited back into the ESPN fold this summer, according to Front Office Sports. Bayless departs FS1 later this summer, with the date of his final Undisputed show not set yet. Co-host Shannon Sharpe left after the 2023 NBA Finals. Sharpe went to ESPN, where he quickly found success as Stephen A. Smith’s debate partner during the NFL season. His departure from FS1 also allowed him to build his media profile outside of TV appearances, with his Club Shay Shay podcast becoming one of the biggest weekly podcasts on YouTube. Bayless can now follow a similar exit plan.

From the moment FS1 announced that Skip Bayless was leaving their network, he was linked to an ESPN reunion. He left the network in 2016 after nearly three decades. He helped pioneer the sports debate show as a panelist on the Dick Schaap-hosted show The Sports Reporters in 1989, and again with Cold Pizza and First Take in the 2000s. The latter launched the television career of Stephen A. Smith, who’s since developed into the face of ESPN and recently asked for a contract extension that makes him one of the highest-paid personalities in all of journalism.

Skip Bayless’s departure from FS1 comes after years of declining ratings for Undisputed. The ratings only got worse when Shannon Sharpe exited the network last year. FS1 attempted to change the format of the show by bringing in a rotating cast of characters, but the ratings still sagged. Fans have long called Bayless’s gimmick outdated. He built part of his career around criticism of players. His most infamous target is LeBron James, who has never publicly responded to any of Bayless’s critiques. That type of hot take content makes for good social media posts. However, it is not what all fans want to see, which is why LeBron James and JJ Redick’s own Mind The Game podcast performed so well in its brief run.

Skip Bayless is also reportedly not on the best of terms with both Stephen A. Smith and Shannon Sharpe. Though he did his part in helping to grow their media careers, they have both surpassed him, and now they work together on ESPN’s flagship show. Adding a third man who both stars of the most popular show on the network have personal issues with is a risk that most networks would be unwilling to take, and ESPN appears to be uninterested in rocking the boat.

Skip Bayless Is Out At FS1

Skip Bayless is no longer part of FS1. The co-host of the Undisputed has severed ties with the network after eight years. According to the New York Post, Bayless’ final episode will air sometime during the fall. His departure marks the end of an era, but it is not an altogether surprising announcement. Skip Bayless has made his discontent with FS1 clear over the years. To such an extent, in fact, that he complained about his co-hosts on the air.

During a 2023 episode of The Undisputed, Bayless grew frustrated by the chatter of his three co-hosts, Richard Sherman, Keyshawn Johnson and Michael Irvin. The veteran sports analyst took a backseat for most of the conversation. That being said, he made his frustrations clear toward the end of the segment. “I don’t know how closely you watched their games, but I can,” he told his peers. “We don’t have time because you guys talk too much.” He then told Johnson, point blank, that he talked “too much.”

Skip Bayless Spent Eight Years On The Network

The writing was on the wall for Bayless when his original co-host left the show in 2023. Shannon Sharpe walked away from The Undisputed and FS1 due to tension with Bayless. Tellingly, part of the draw of the show was seeing Bayless and Sharpe clash with one another. The absence of the latter was a blow that the show’s never fully recovered from. Ratings declined, and Skip Bayless struggled to find a groove in the revolving roster of guest hosts.

Of course, the alternative was worse. Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe were frequently at each other’s throats during the show’s peak. The latter admitted on The Stephen A. Smith Show that he got so mad during one segment that he considered attacking Bayless. “I remember going home, calling my sister,” Sharpe stated. “I called my brother… It took a lot. It took a lot for me not to put my hands on [Bayless]. It actually did.” Skip Bayless has not yet commented on his exit from FS1. New York Post claimed that the analyst referred them to FOX Sports, who declined to make a statement.

Antonio Brown is someone who has completely transformed his online presence following his NFL career. Overall, earlier this year, it had become clear that his Twitter account was under management. The person behind the account started posting intricate memes while also antagonizing numerous sports, entertainment, and political figures. Initially, it seemed to be all in good fun. However, it has deteriorated into straight-up homophobia and misogyny.

Yesterday, AB’s account came under fire for using homophobic slurs against none other than Sketch. Following the revelation that Sketch used to have an OnlyFans, the Twitch streamer became a trending topic, and AB looked to capitalize. However, AB or whoever is behind the account had a change of heart and even apologized. “My page comedy & entertainment But I wanted to make sure I let you know I spoke with @thesketchreal this morning Jokes are jokes but making sure his mental health good Never know what people got goin on or are goin through,” AB’s account wrote.
