Wiz Khalifa Continues Rollout For “Kush + Orange Juice 2” With Don Toliver-Assisted “Hide It”

Wiz Khalifa’s mixtape catalog is held in high regard and one of the reasons why is thanks to his 2010 release, Kush & Orange Juice. It remains as one of the most popular of the last decade and for good reason. It helped put the Pittsburgh native into the limelight and it’s really shaped him into the artist we know and love all of these years after it. Fairly soon, Wiz will be reviving it to some degree in the form of a sequel project, Kush + Orange Juice 2. There’s some speculation that it will arrive sometime in November, but there’s no release date set in stone.

If it does come out before the end of the year, it will be his second LP of 2024. Wiz came through sort of out of nowhere in late July with Wiz Owens. However, there was an indicator that this was a part of his lowkey plans to drop twice. That phase two is now officially Kush + OJ 2, as we already have received “Khalifa’s Home.” Now, he’s back to drop off another offering, this time with a feature. Him and Don Toliver have collaborated once before, with 2019’s “Back Up” being that other occasion. Fans were fairly lukewarm on “Khalifa’s Home,” as some felt he was straying away from what he does best. But “Hide It” may regain some of those skeptics as it a weed-smoking jam if we’ve ever heard one. It’s wavy, melodic, and catchy, and one that Khalifa’s fan base will appreciate.

Megan Thee Stallion Unveils The Tracklist For “Megan: Act II”

Megan Thee Stallion’s MEGAN era was ultimately a very successful one. The Houston rapper, producer, and songwriter moved around 64,000 copies in its initial week. It led to a number three debut on the Billboard Hot 200 chart it spawned several major singles. “Mamushi,” “HISS,” and “Cobra,” are a few of them to rattle off, but she’s not stopping there. Last Friday, October 18, it was revealed that an extension of the project is on the way, and we are extremely close to that happening now.

Megan Thee Stallion will be releasing MEGAN: ACT II this Friday, October 25 and in that previous announcement, she also showed off its Memphis-inspired cover art that was plucked from the 2000s. With us being just two days away from it, the superstar act is looking to build as much anticipation as possible. She’s doing so today by unveiling the tracklist, which is officially a 13-song collection. Given that it’s directly attached to MEGAN, it’s more of sequel, rather than a deluxe.

Kehlani Delivers Breezy & Summery R&B Vibes For “While We Wait 2”

Kehlani has their die-hard fans jumping for joy this week because they now have While We Wait 2. If this title looks familiar to those not totally in the know, it’s because they have While We Wait in their discography. That was their third mixtape, and it hit DSPs back in 2019. Kehlani didn’t have a major rollout for this second project of 2024, as they hinted at it on their Instagram just about a week ago. There are actually a couple of reasons as to why this wasn’t being teased that long.

For starters, Kehlani delivered their fourth album CRASH back in late June. Secondly, the alternative R&B veteran announced the North American leg of their CRASH World Tour about five weeks prior to WWW2. It’s also worth mentioning they will be hitting the road on September 4. Finally, Kehlani said themselves that this project was completed in a blistering time frame. In a recent Instagram post they wrote, “We made this tape in my back house in two weeks with all people I really dearly love… It was a breezy process and nobody thought hard. Just some feelings in 90 degree weather.” You can definitely hear that in the performances and instrumentals in a good way. Kehlani sounds carefree and chill on this mixtape, making this just as blissful for the listener.

Logic Delivers Some Thrilling Rapping Performances Across “Ultra 85”

There really isn’t much more that needs to be said about Maryland rapper, singer, and producer, Logic. Sure, he can be a bit divisive at times. Some of his more recent releases and their topical focus are not the most glowing representations of him. However, overall, Logic has put together quite the discography over the last decade plus and Ultra 85 will go down as one of those high-quality releases. As his fanbase is well aware of already, this project has been eagerly awaited. After all, he’s been working on this effort for roughly seven years.

So, when he finally released massive updates at the start of 2024, fans took quite the sigh of relief. Some were skeptical due to this long wait, but that pessimistic outlook flew out the window. You can thank singles such as “Mission Control”, “Teleport”, “44ever”, among others for that. Expectations were certainly back up and we can pretty safely say that Logic’s supporters will be happy with the final results. Across 20 tracks equating to over an hour of material, he’s giving you some of his best rapping performances from a technical and topical standpoint. Additionally, the jazzy, soulful, and head-nodding beats courtesy of longtime collaborator 6ix, Logic, Beat Butcha, and more, are meticulously crafted and mixed to perfection.

Additionally, fans will enjoy the continuation of The Incredible True Story space odyssey of Kai and Thomas. Overall, they are equally well performed and funny. Once this accompanying novel drops, it will be interesting to see where Logic goes from here. He’s claimed to have been done with music in the past, but Ultra 85 does feel and sound like a great send-off for the prolific MC.

Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre Allegedly Releasing “Missionary” Sooner Than You May Think

Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre have been the closest pals for decades on decades. The iconic pairing has released some of the best music in hip-hop, but also from the West Coast. Arguably their greatest accomplishment together was dropping Doggystyle, which is now over 30 years old. It featured some of the G-funk/gangsta/West Coast tracks of that decade, and even to this day. Soon, –actually very soon– Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre will further cement their chemistry and legacies when they release Missionary in July.

That is what Tha Dogg Pound told the good people over at Drink Champs in a recent interview. According to HipHopDX, Kurupt and Daz Dillinger let that information slip at the 14:33 mark of the video. “Dogg sacrificed ’cause he got an album dropping in July. This album with Dr. Dre dropping in July,” said Kurupt. Daz also added, “He got an album coming out next month with Dr. Dre”.

Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre Have Been Working On “Missionary” For A Bit

Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre have had Missionary in the works for quite some time now, so this latest update is massive. Uncle Snoop dropped the bombshell that this was happening nearly two years ago in an interview with Stephen A. Smith. During the October 2022 conversation, the multi-talent said, “I’ma tell you this, you’re the first one to hear this: me and Dr. Dre have been working on an album for the past two months… It’ll be done in November. It’s produced by Dr. Dre, it’s our 30th anniversary to Doggystyle. And the name of the album is Missionary“. He also mentioned that it was going to drop that November, but obviously we are still waiting. So, we will see if Tha Dogg Pound are telling the truth in due time.

What are your thoughts on Tha Dogg Pound confirming the release date of Missionary by Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre? How do you feel about this being the “succeeding” project to Doggystyle? Do you think the duo will actually drop it in July? Does this have the potential to be one of the best records of 2024? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your thoughts in the comments section below. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Tha Dogg Pound, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre. What happens when you combine, comedy, unpredictability, an unconventional rap style, and banging beats? You get New York rapper and eclectic personality, RXKNephew. Chief Keef Reminds Us Of His Greatness On “Almighty So 2”

One of hip-hop’s most elusive figures has finally delivered on the promise he made to his fan base about five years ago. Yes, you heard that right, Chicago drill icon Chief Keef has come through with Almighty So 2. Some may still be holding a grudge, but we are just happy this sequel is here. This is now his second project of the year, following up his collaborative mixtape with producer Mike WiLL Made-It DIRTY NACHOS. There were some rumblings that Chief Keef was going to drop Almighty So 2 back at the end of March.

However, after the rapper/producer tandem dropped their effort instead, hope dwindled that we would get two tapes in one month. Luckily though, we did not have to wait another 10 years for it. We mentioned how we were just elated that Keef followed through, but that does not mean squat if the project is a dud. Thankfully, the now 28-year-old veteran is bringing some of his most consistent material.

Keef is rapping like he still has something to prove and the beats (which he had a hand in) just slap. The samples are incorporated to perfection and there is a bevy of them. Features are also a major factor to the tape’s success, too. Lil Gnar, Tierra Whack, Sexyy Red, Quavo, G Herbo, Ballout, all bring something to the table. You can check out Almighty So 2 with the links above.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new mixtape Almighty So 2 by Chief Keef? So far, has this project lived up to the hype for you, why or why not? What tracks have you been gravitating toward? Wiz Khalifa Previews “Kush & Orange Juice 2,” Listeners Beg Him Not To Ruin The Original

Earlier this week, Wiz Khalifa hopped on Instagram to tease his upcoming sequel to his iconic mixtape Kush & Orange Juice, leaving listeners concerned. The rapper shared a clip of himself and some collaborators in the studio working on a track yesterday (April 24). “Mixing and co producing this album has been so much fun,” he captioned his post. “I learned a lot in the process and took myself to levels i didn’t even know i could go. I can’t wait until you guys get to experience how special and amazing this body of work is. #KushandOrangeJuice2.”

While Wiz Khalifa certainly appears eager to unveil his latest project, not all of his fans are looking forwards to it. His comments section has been flooded with users criticizing the song heard in the clip, and begging him not to put it on Kush & Orange Juice 2. Others are urging him to change the project’s title altogether, arguing that he’ll ruin the original mixtape’s legacy with his current sound.

NLE Choppa Takes Absurdity To New Heights With NSFW Single “SLUT ME OUT 2”

There have been a few rappers lately that have been unapologetic in their music when it comes to their sexuality. One of those is energetic Memphis, Tennessee MC NLE Choppa. Last year, we saw the still 21-year-old dropped songs like “College Girls,” “IT’S GETTING HOT,” a remix of Nelly’s classic, and “SLUT ME OUT.” The latter of those now has a sequel, as NLE Choppa has decided to drop “SLUT ME OUT 2.”

This original version landed on his 2023 project Cottonwood 2, which saw its release nearly a year ago to the day, April 14. In that fairly short period, the sexually-charged song has surprisingly racked up over 322 million streams. To be fair though, it does have a fire beat and Choppa does bring some creative flows and an animated performance. For this next installment, NLE somehow turns things up a notch on “SLUT ME OUT 2.”

It is truly impossible to include all of the absurdly funny lyrics but here is a small sample of them. “If I was a bad b****, I’d wanna hump me too, hmm (No Diddy) / I’d wanna trap me too, hmm (No Diddy) / Nothin’ freaky that I wouldn’t do to me (No Diddy).” The reference to all of the jokes surrounding the rapper’s plethora of legal issues is far from the most hilarious bars on the song. What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “SLUT ME OUT 2” by NLE Choppa? Is this the better track that its predecessor, why or why not? Do you like NLE rapping about these kind of topics? Metro Boomin & Future Reveal Chilling Artwork For “We Still Don’t Trust You”

What a time to be alive if you are a hip-hop fan. 2024 has been quite the resurgent year for the genre and two artists who are contributing heavily to the revitalized excitement are Metro Boomin and Future. The trap icons reunited for a full body of work in late March with WE DON’T TRUST YOU. It was a hit for many, as there were many bangers, with “Like That” leading the way. However, the superstar tandem is not done yet. With We Still Don’t Trust You dropping in two days, Metro and Future recently revealed the artwork, according to HipHopDX.

If you thought the WDTY cover was amazing, this one might be even better. This time around, the inseparable producer and rapper duo have opted for an even ominous black and white color scheme. In two of the quadrants, Metro and Future can be seen wearing black suits with white shirts underneath. Then, in the other pair, they are sporting all white with masks of some sort.
