YG and Saweetie have kept the rumor mill churning about a potential romance between the two. On Tuesday (May 30), the two were spotted in Cabo, coupled up, enjoying a baecation.
The Shade Room spotted the two in a pool, cuddling up and kissing. YG had a fitted-on hugging Saweetie from behind in one photo. Another catches him kissing the “Tap In” star on her neck.
Previously, the two were spotted at Coachella and caught eyes, sparking rumors about their status. Before that, YG hosted a birthday party, which Saweetie also attended.
Saweetie is having a big year. She hopped on a remix of Baby Tate’s viral “Hey, Mickey!” and she was brought out during Latto’s Coachella performance. Now, it looks like her love life has a lot going on as well.
The “My Type” performer has been rumored to be dating fellow rapper YG after the two were allegedly at Coachella together. They also both collaborated with Tyga on “Money Mouf” and Mozzy on “In My Face.” However, photographic evidence has surfaced Tuesday, May 30 of the pair getting close in Cabo.
Though fans are excited for romance in Saweetie’s life, they would also like new material from her, especially considering she’s been putting off her debut album for quite some time. In March, she talked about why it’s been taking a while. “I feel like a debut album is not something you just put out,” she said. “It’s not something you play with. Me,” the actor says in character as Tony Montana after a major blowout with his wife and best friend. The Grammy-nominated starlet hasn’t been in the news for any drama lately, so it seems unlikely that she’s shading anyone.

Although she Is on vacation she is even closer to her home than it may seem. Her tropical vacation is taking place in El Nido, Palawan located in the Philippines. Saweetie’s ethnic background includes Filipino and Chinese alongside an African American father. Saweetie has opened up about her heritage numerous times in interviews and songs. In her 2018 extended play, “High Maintenance,” Saweetie talks about her mother being Filipino.” And that’s the word to my mother she the Filipino queen and she hella high maintenance ima give her what she needs,” she said. Saweetie has also spoken about the pride she takes in her heritage.
