Furthermore, congratulations are in order for the happy couple. What’s more is that this announcement comes soon after Adele revealed that she wants to have a kid with the sports agent. “It is my stepdaughter’s graduation this weekend. Paul, who also represents Lakers stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis, recently spoke with Chris Haynes of the Bleacher Report about one of the contracts Bronny will not be signing this summer. This insight into Paul’s role and his stance on Bronny’s contract adds a layer of understanding to the draft process.

When asked if it Is true that he wouldn’t sign Bronny to a two-way contract, Rich Paul replied, “Yes, that’s absolutely true. Teams know that. I’m not doing that.” Paul claims that Bronny’s desire to be limited to the NBA roster sends a clear message to all teams. It doesn’t seem like Klutch wants Bronny to take the two-way player route, where they split their time between the NBA and the G-league, which is what many second-round selections end up doing. Making this claim probably implies that some teams won’t be selecting Bronny in the draft. Bronny will not sign a two-way contract, so if they do want to choose him, they will either need to offer him a position on the roster or let him go.

Chris Haynes then asked Paul about where Bronny could get drafted. Paul said, “Bronny’s range has been all over. Some teams think he goes 20 to 40, some say 30-50, and some teams think he’ll go undrafted. It just takes one team.” Paul continued, “This is something I do every year during the draft process. This is not Bronny-centric. He’s a part of our draft class. I have to try to help find the right fit for all my guys as well as the right deal. So that’s how I’m looking at it.” Bronny having the best agent in the game is probably going to end up working in his favor. 

The Lakers and other organizations are anticipated to cooperate with Bronny before to the 2024 NBA Draft, even if he could frighten some people away. Despite the fact that a two-way deal is off the table, someone will probably choose him in June due to the high level of interest in his potential. Rich Paul is proven to be a guy who can make things happen in the NBA. He is probably the most powerful agent in basketball, and his partnership with LeBron James is well-documented. Mase asked straight up how Rich Paul plans to get Bronny and Bron on the same team. Rich Paul promptly answered, “I don’t.” Mase and his co-host Cam’Ron both chuckled at the answer. Is Bronny James Declaring For The NBA Draft? Rich Paul Gives Update On USC Freshman’s Thinking

Rich Paul has stated that Bronny James’ draft decision will be based on “team interest” and not projected draft position. “I don’t value a young player getting into the lottery as much as I do getting him on the right team in the right developmental situation,” Paul told ESPN. Furthermore, Paul noted that LeBron James’ long-stated desire to play with his son will not factor into the decision. However, Paul did note that LeBron would be “head over heels” if it happened “organically”. This comment also appeared to put to bed the idea that LeBron would leave the Lakers to play with Bronny.

It has been a less-than-ideal season for Bronny James. Entering college as a top-15 recruit, the start of his season was derailed by a cardiac arrest suffered last July. While that congenital defect has reportedly been addressed, Bronny will still have to get clearance from the NBA’s Fitness to Play panel. Additionally, Bronny has simply not played like an NBA prospect. He has averaged 5/2.8/2.4 a game for a Trojans team that has fallen well short of expectations. Projected to finish second in the Pac-12, USC is second-last in the division with two games left on the schedule.

Austin Rivers And Stephen Jackson Feud Over Bronny James

Of course, Bronny’s NBA fit remains a heated point of discussion. Stephen Jackson took offense to Austin Rivers’ rationale behind why LeBron and Bronny shouldn’t play on the same team if Bronny makes the move to the NBA. “Difference is you trash, Bronny not. You can’t compare to him scrub. And your daddy not LeBron. Shut up,” Jackson wrote in the comments on an Instagram post reporting Rivers’ original comments. Rivers later replied to the former NBA player. “All smiles…I didn’t even have to fight my own battles with ignorance, yall corrected it for me!! Thank you for not siding with delusion. Have a blessed day,” Rivers wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

However, Jackson’s reaction was bizarre given that Rivers had been arguing that Bronny doesn’t need the added obstacle of playing in his father’s shadow. “I don’t want to see Bronny play with [LeBron]… Him getting drafted & playing with his dad, I don’t want that negativity to come his way. He doesn’t deserve it… [He needs to] play somewhere where he can niche out his own identity,” Rivers told NBA Today.

Rich Paul has shut down any speculation that LeBron James will be traded at the NBA trade deadline. “LeBron won’t be traded, and we aren’t asking to be,” Paul said in response to growing speculation that LeBron might be leaving the Lakers midseason. Smith’s pitch is more based on the vibes of “LeBron at MSG” rather than how LeBron would actually make the Knicks a better team. Smith’s Knicks are currently in the East and are riding a six-game winstreak. However, they recently lost the team’s second scorer, Julius Randle, until at least after the All-Star Game.
