How To See Your Spotify Pie Chart

It’s been months since Spotify had its annual takeover of social media with Spotify Wrapped, a feature that allows listeners to share breakdowns of their most-played music. The most significant downside to Wrapped, though, is that it only comes once per year. So, a developer is now offering an unofficial solution to fill the void, and you can check it out right now.

How To See Your Spotify Pie Chart

As Metro notes, a California-based student named Darren Huang has unveiled Spotify Pie, which generates a pie chart based on the last month of a user’s Spotify listening activity.

Using it is pretty simple. Head to the Spotify Pie website (on mobile or desktop devices) and log in with your Spotify credentials. From there, the page will quickly populate a pie chart that breaks down your top genres. Hover over the slices (or, on a mobile device, tap) to see the top artists that fit into these genres. The genres can get pretty granular: My personal list included “edmonton indie” (Mac DeMarco), “seattle indie” (The Postal Service), and “dmv rap” (IDK).

Below the pie chart and its corresponding key is a list of the most-played artists, which the top picks presented in a larger font.

The site seems harmless, but as with any third-party application that accesses your data and login credentials, proceed with caution.

If that all sounds cool, check out Spotify Pie here.

Rihanna Surpassed Katy Perry To Become The Most-Followed Woman On Twitter, But There’s Still One Musician Ahead Of Her Now

Rihanna now holds another record, as the singer and makeup mogul surpassed Katy Perry this week to become Twitter’s most followed woman. According to SocialBlade, Rihanna sits at 108,278,326 to Perry’s 108,261,949 when this was written, giving her about a 20,000 lead now. Overall, RiRi has the fourth-highest follower count on the social platform, behind (sigh) the company’s owner Elon Musk, Barack Obama, and Justin Bieber. Rihanna needs a few million more followers to pass Bieber and become the most-followed musician on the platform, as Bieber currently sits at 113,156,831 followers.

In terms of other musicians that round out the top ten of Twitter’s most followed, Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande follow close behind at No. 7 and No. 10.

This comes on the heels of an already big year for Rihanna, between playing the Super Bowl Halftime Show just a few months ago and announcing she’s having a second child with ASAP Rocky. She also performed her song “Lift Me Up” from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever‘s soundtrack at the Oscars, where it was also nominated for an award.

She was also the only female musician to make this year’s Forbes Billionaire List, with her net worth estimated at $1.4 billion, through her music, partnerships, and her Fenty Beauty empire. (Jay-Z and Jimmy Buffett were the only other two performers on the ranking.)

While fans are probably still waiting for new music, Rihanna’s return, whenever it happens, now has an opportunity to be major considering her constantly growing following.

Prolific Father Nick Cannon Would Be ‘All In’ On Taylor Swift Being The Mother Of His 13th Child

Nick Cannon currently has 12 children, while the number 13 has recurred throughout Taylor Swift’s career. So, Swift having Cannon’s 13th child would certainly be something, and it’s an idea that Cannon is up for, as he noted in a recent interview with Howard Stern.

The clip starts with Stern asking for a definitive answer on whether Cannon is done having kids. He refused to be concrete, though, because he simply doesn’t know what the future holds. He did say, however, “I’m happy currently with, you know, my dozen that I got.”

Stern pushed the issue, asking, “Who would be the woman that would make you have a baby again?” Cannon laughed off the question, saying, “I’m not doing this. I can see the headlines.” Stern continued, “If I said to you, ‘Taylor Swift wants to have a baby with you.’” Cannon replied, “Absolutely, I’m in. Let’s go! That’s the one! I’m all in.”

Cannon added:

“First of all, she’s an amazing songwriter. And what I do love about Taylor Swift is the fact that she has been so vulnerable and open with all of her music since such a young girl. And she kind of like me, like… me and Taylor’s numbers is very similar when we talk about being in these streets [laughs]! So I think she would relate to me very well based off of, like, ‘Yo, you’ve dated a lot of people in the public eye, so have I,’ so we probably will really understand each other.”

Stern then made note of Swift’s reported break-up with Joe Alwyn and Cannon joked, “You know I know that, Howard! You know I’m… my Spidey-Senses was tingling!”

The whole conversation felt very tongue-in-cheek, so probably don’t expect a pregnancy announcement from Cannon and Swift any time soon.

Do Nicki Minaj And Kim Petras Have A Song Coming?

It’s true! Kim Petras and Nicki Minaj have expressed their intentions to collaborate, with Minaj being a feature on the upcoming “Alone” single.

Petras broke the news on social media this week with a video of her answering a telephone call. Minaj’s voice can be heard on the other end, saying cheerfully, “Yeah! It’s Barbie and it’s Kim Petras!” She captioned it with the release date, which is April 21.

Billboard has also reported that “Alone” samples Alice Deejay’s 1998 song, “Better Off Alone.” While not much else is known about it yet, needless to say, fans are excited about the potential of their two faves joining forces.

However, some had been suspecting the collab was coming for quite a while. Last month, a clip went around of Petras doing an interview with the publication, where she dished about who would be in her dream girl group. Off the bat, she listed some picks like Charli XCX and Lana Del Rey. Then, with a laugh, she also named Nicki Minaj — leading fans to think that something was possibly already in the works.

“CLOCK THAT SHE STARTING GIGGLING WHEN NICKI WAS MENTIONED TEA OH THAT COLLAB IS COMING,” one replied.

Meanwhile, another fan knew exactly what it was. “We getting that ‘Alone’ feature,” they wrote.

American Express Announces A Coachella Partnership With Depop And Flo Milli, And Special Blackpink Merch

As festivalgoers are flocking to California today for the start of Coachella’s first weekend this year, American Express has announced a new “global, multi-festival” partnership with Depop — and are launching the first “Festival Edit” run on-site.

To celebrate, the two companies enlisted none other than Flo Milli to curate a special collection for it, as she is known for her powerful style and is also set to perform at the festival. Depop app users can find Milli’s picks on the app and online as well, giving it an accessibility for those who aren’t attending Coachella. Check her selections out here.

“American Express and Depop are bringing my personal style to life this festival season and I’m so excited to be part of the first collection.” Flo Milli shared in a statement. “Through both my music and fashion, I always aim to express myself with authenticity and creativity. I can’t wait for Depop users to shop my festival-ready looks, featuring bold, glam pieces with Y2K and grunge influence.”

Additionally, outside of their Depop partnership, AmEx is also collaborating with one of the festival headliners, the legendary girl-group, Blackpink. They will be offering card members the chance to purchase limited-edition merchandise for the band and a fast-lane pass at Blackpink’s official merch tent. For those who purchase with their card, AmEx will also be giving out a complimentary gift — although it might not be Blackpink-related.

For those attending Coachella, AmEx will also have some other photo ops and surprises scattered around the festival grounds.

Labrinth Explained How His New Collaboration With Billie Eilish Came To Fruition

Billie Eilish fans were right when they suspected that the “Bad Guy” singer was hinting at a collaboration with Labrinth, who’s most known for doing the Euphoria soundtrack. “Never Felt So Alone” came out today, and the song proves the pair’s dark chemistry.

Labrinth typically creates unsettling, brooding atmospheres, which Eilish’s voice sounds perfect within. It makes sense that he, real name Timothy Lee McKenzie, talked about being a fan of Eilish in an interview with Eddie Francis on Apple Music 1’s New Music Daily show, according to Billboard.

“I’ve been a fan of Billie for a long time,” McKenzie revealed. “I think she’s an amazing artist. I remember Noah [Cyrus] was doing some of the same shows Billie was in that time, and everybody kept on coming back talking about this Billie Eilish girl.”

“Then I think the first time I heard her on a record was ‘Bury a Friend,” he continued, adding that he’d met Finneas years prior. “And I was just like, ‘This is a sick record.’”

So naturally, he thought Eilish would fit on “Never Felt So Alone.”

“Once I started piecing the song together, I was just like, “Do you know what? I think this is the moment where I think Billie would be a sick addition,’” he said. “When we spoke, she was like, ‘Lab, I’ve been listening to your music for years.” I was like, ‘What?’ It was like, ‘Billie? What? You?’ She was like, ‘Yeah, been a fan.’ She was like, ‘I love this song as well, so I would love to do it with you.’”
