Tyler, The Creator Reveals His Top 12 Songs Of 2022

Tyler, The Creator is known to be a man of quite eclectic taste. From his vintage car obsession to his collection of unique jewelry, the 31-year-old has never been afraid to show off his style.

His musical inspiration is no different, coming in the form of various different artists and genres.

On Tuesday (December 20), the “See You Again” rapper took to his Twitter account to share his favorite songs of the year. Although, not all of them were actually released in 2022. Some of them dropped last year and in 2020. Obviously, Tyler doesn’t abide by strict rules when creating his lists.

Regardless, his twelve favorite songs of 2022 include a diverse range of genres and only a few rap songs. In order to fit all of his inclusions into the 280-character-limits of a tweet, he obviously had to use some short forms.

Below is an official list of the songs he loved this year:

The Sweet Enoughs – “In Mind”
Charles Stepney – “Around The House”
Pusha T“Neck & Wrist” (feat. JAY Z & Pharrell Williams)
Sol Set – “Pour le Moment”
Dina Ögon – “Tombola 94”
Steve Lacy – “Buttons”
Pharrell Williams – “Cash In Cash Out” (feat. 21 Savage & Tyler, The Creator)
Kendrick Lamar – “Worldwide Steppers”
La’Verne Washington – “I Found What I’ve Been Searching For”
Pearl & The Oysters – “Candy”
Kendrick Lamar – “Savior” (feat. Baby Keem & Sam Dew)

As you can see, the majority of his list consists of genres like alternative, R&B and retro pop. Additionally, he gives himself props for one of his guest verses on his track with Pharrell and 21 Savage, one of only a few he did this year.

Shortly after tweeting his list, a fan quickly replied to inquire about a notably absent song that Tyler expressed his love for earlier in the year: Omar Apollo’s Neptunes-produced “Tamagotchi.”

The IGOR artist subsequently made sure to include it in his list. “DAWG I KNEW IT WAS A SONG I FORGOT WHEN I MADE THIS MENTAL LIST. THE BRIDGE ON THAT IS A 10,” he says.

It’s certainly always interesting to hear what our favorite artists have been listening to and are inspired by.

Finally, what do you think of Tyler’s list? Comment your top three songs of the year down below afterwards. As always, make sure to stay tuned to HNHH for the latest pop culture updates.

Candace Owens Defends Megan Thee Stallion Against “Vultures”

An ally that we’re sure Megan Thee Stallion didn’t expect to have is Candace Owens. The case against Tory Lanez is inching to its conclusion as he defends himself against allegations of assault. Megan testified that Lanez shot her in 2020, but he says otherwise. His defense argued that it was Megan’s former best friend, Kelsey Harris, who pulled the trigger.

This case has garnered attention from commentators across the globe, including Candace Owens. She shared a 9-minute video online where she said she was “horrified” about this story.

“Megan Thee Stallion has credibly accused Tory Lanez of shooting her in the foot,” Owens wrote in the caption.

“She turned down hush money and has been stabbed in the back by her friends, Instead of getting showered with support, Megan was mocked. I can’t imagine what it would be like to be in her position.”

In the clip, Owens brought up an example of having a crush on a Black high school classmate who said he wouldn’t snitch. The boy stood his ground, even when asked if he would tell the police if he saw someone kill a child. Owens said she didn’t want any part of the street code many in the Black community adhere to.

“But what happened and what is playing out with Megan Thee Stallion in her real life, not in just her performance life, is one of the most hideous things that I’ve ever seen,” Owens also stated. “The fact that the person behind this has not been canceled is incredible to me.”

“Culture likes Tory Lanez. Men are also standing by him. No one’s canceled him. Again, he didn’t say anything, he did something. He actually did violence, he didn’t say any violence. I guess in our world, it’s totally fine. I haven’t seen demands for this man to be canceled.”

She added that there hadn’t been news about his record label dropping him before sympathizing with Megan.

“Having suffered something so obviously traumatic and being surrounded by absolute vultures.” Check out the clip above.

YSL RICO Update: Young Thug Co-Defendant’s Calls To Be Used As Evidence

Although Gunna and others have taken plea deals and subsequently been released from jail, Young Thug remains behind bars.

The latest update in the upcoming RICO trial indicates that prosecutors are bringing more evidence in against Thugger and other YSL members.

According to new reports from WSB-TV, the evidence comes in the form of phone calls involving Lil Miles.

Miles, whose real name is Miles Farley, allegedly spoke to the mother of his child over the phone from prison. Within their conversation, prosecutors say he was attempting to hide evidence.

They allege that he instructs the mother of his child to hide firearms and even says where they’re located.

However, Farley’s attorney, Anastasios Manettas has since put out a statement denying these claims. “Mr. Farley’s jail calls do not indicate any cooperation with the State by Mr. Farley, and the jail calls don’t discuss any tampering with evidence. Social media has falsely commented on this, falsely claiming that the calls indicate Mr. Farley agreeing to cooperate with the State, and that the calls indicate him instructing the mother of his children to hide or conceal his lawfully-owned gun from the police. They do not,” he says.

Regardless, the judge is permitting prosecutors to present the calls as evidence. Farley is a co-defendant in YSL’s RICO case and faces charges of murder.

The most recent artist involved in the case to take a plea deal was the So Much Fun rapper’s brother, Unfoonk.

Young Thug and the other YSL members who haven’t taken a plea deal are still awaiting trial. They are facing various gang-related charges, as well as racketeering. Furthermore, the jury selection for the case will begin early next year, on January 5, 2023.

Finally, what do you think of this new evidence being used? Comment your thoughts down below afterwards. Make sure to stay tuned to HNHH for the latest updates in the YSL RICO case.

Brittany Renner may very well be one of the most polarizing public figures in popular culture right now. The 30-year-old author and entrepreneur first rose to prominence after her breakup with PJ Tucker went viral in 2021. Since then, Renner has continuously been criticized for allegedly grooming the Charlotte Hornets player, but she has denied those accusations. In fact, Renner has been able to build quite the platform for herself.

For her most recent interview, Brittany Renner made an appearance on the JustPearlyThings YouTube channel. Brittany Renner explains why she regrets some of the sex she’s had in the past.

Roughly 30 minutes into the interview, Brittany Renner expressed disappointment in some of her past sex-related decisions. She cited soul ties and spiritual unification as reasons why she wishes she had been more careful when choosing sexual partners.

“I hate how I’ve allowed myself to be used by men. And that came from a lack of self-worth,” Renner stated. “I did not understand my value that I was born with. I didn’t. And I gave…Again. People look at sex differently, but sex is spiritual unification. At the end of the day, I don’t care how you spin it.”

“It’s spiritual unification,” she continued. “And people that I shared my body with — when I think about my list — it’s repulsive. Because they didn’t deserve it. But that was an outcome of me discounting my worth. And it’s disgusting. I hate even having that spiritual tie in any type of way. But yeah, I would absolutely change, sexually, how I move around.”

This past Wednesday, 21 Savage held his annual Grant-A-Wish event in Georgia, allowing dozens of local families to pick up free gifts during the holiday season. While attending the event, the “a lot” rapper was granted his own day while also being recognized for his philanthropy.

Billy Mitchell, a Georgia State Representative, took time during the holiday occasion to officially declare December 21st as “21 Savage Day.” The two also posed for a photo along with a signed certificate.

Proving to be a busy year for the rapper, 21 Savage dropped Her Loss in November, the popular joint mixtape with Drake. The album quickly snagged the number one spot on the Billboard 200 album chart and went viral with hits like “Rich Flex.”

The 30-year-old was also featured on a string of singles in 2022, including Gunna’s “thought i was playing” and Calvin Harris’ “New Money.”

Not long after, the New York rapper announced that he was collaborating with 21 Savage on the single “One Mic, One Gun.” Promoting the song on Instagram, Nas also made it clear that there was no bad blood between the two.

“Only way we moving is with love, respect and unity. The foundational principles of hip hop. Excited to collaborate with my young brother and I hope more artist use turbulent moments and turn them into a time to make new art,” he penned, adding, “ That’s what it’s about.”

Bre Tiesi Shouts Out Nick Cannon As “Present, Happy, Consistent” Father Following Holiday Photos

Nick Cannon recently appeared in holiday-themed family photos with Bre Tiesi and their newborn son Legendary, bringing in the baby’s first Christmas. Shortly after posting the pictures on Instagram, the model followed up by giving a shout-out to the television host, referring to him as a “present, happy, consistent” father.

Posing with Cannon as Legendary sat with Santa, Tiesi shared on Instagram earlier this week, “Creating memories with my Cannon boys all season long! Legendary didn’t even bat an eye at Santa!”

“He did love daddy burying him in the beans!” she continued, adding, “Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.”

According to People, she later posted a message she received from a fan, who praised Cannon for showing “up for his kids.” Agreeing, Tiesi responded in support of the Wild ‘N Out star, writing, “THIS! Nick always shows up. Always present, happy, consistent, loving parent and an even better person! We love u!”

Lanisha Cole, who gave birth to Cannon’s ninth child Onyx in September, recently posted a cryptic message on her social media. On her Instagram Story, the photographer and model seemingly shaded Cannon, saying that their daughter “is surrounded by so much love – and it’s not fake IG photo op love.”

While appearing on the Paramount+ show “The Checkup with Dr. David Agus,” Cannon opened up about the guilt he feels for not having enough time for all of his children.

With the 42-year-old having a total of 11 kids with one on the way, he shared, “Being a father of multiple kids, it’s always the biggest guilt on me is that I don’t get to spend enough time with all my children.”

He also revealed that he feels “spread thin.”

Alyssa Scott is currently pregnant with Cannon’s 12th child. The pair tragically lost their 5-month-old son Zen in 2021 following a brain cancer battle.

Cher’s Friends Don’t Want Her And AE Getting Serious, Source Claims

Many were shocked to hear the news that Cher and music executive Alexander “AE” Edwards were romantically linked, and apparently, her close ones were taken by surprise too.

With the pair having a 40-year age gap, a source revealed that most of her friends “are concerned” for the “Believe” singer and also don’t want her to get too serious with the 36-year-old.

Per RadarOnline, a source shared that “Cher has a lot of people worried for her right now,” continuing, “She’s saying it’s her business who she dates and she’ll make her own decisions, but the warning signs are there for everyone to see.”

The source also added, “Cher’s in way over her head as far as the vast majority of her friends are concerned. They want her to see this for what it is, a fun winter fling. They don’t want her to get carried away.”

The Grammy-winning singer, 76, recently appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show and gave fans some insight into her relationship with AE. Admitting that their romance sounds “ridiculous” on paper, she stated on the talk show, “But in real life, we get along great. He’s fabulous. And I don’t give men qualities that they don’t deserve.”

On what she appreciates most about him, Cher also said, “He’s very kind, very smart, he’s very talented, and he’s really funny. And I think he’s quite handsome.”

Alluding to their decades-long age gap, she shared that she hasn’t had much luck when it comes to dating men her own age.

“I have had a couple boyfriends that were hovering around my age, but they just didn’t like me for some reason,” she continued. “And maybe younger men don’t care if you’re funny or outrageous and want to do stupid things, and you have the strong personality. I’m not giving up my personality for anybody, okay?”

AE previously dated Amber Rose, with the former couple sharing their 3-year-old son Slash Electric. They eventually went their separate ways, with AE admitting to being unfaithful.

In an Instagram post last year, the Universal Music Group executive asked for forgiveness from the model, saying, “All I want is my family back and I’m willing to do anything to make things right.”

Clearly, they weren’t able to reconcile.

tWitch’s Wife Allison Holker Posts Tribute Following Suicide, “We Miss You So Much”

Taking a step back from social media following her husband Stephen “tWitch” Boss’ suicide death, Allison Holker returned with a heartbreaking tribute post on Wednesday (Dec. 21). Sharing a selfie the couple took prior to his unexpected passing, she shared “we miss you so much.”

“My ONE and ONLY Oh how my heart aches. We miss you so much,” she penned on Instagram, garnering over one million likes in the hours since she created the post.

The pair celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary just days before tWitch took his life. Both posted throwback wedding photos to honor the milestone.

tWitch competed on season three of So You Think You Can Dance, appeared in a number of films, and was also known for his work on The Ellen Show as a DJ and executive producer. Also a professional dancer, Holker and tWitch would often post their dance routines on social media.

The 40-year-old passed away earlier this month after suffering a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. His body was discovered in a motel room located in the Encino neighborhood of Los Angeles, California.

In a statement to People shortly after her husband’s death, Holker candidly spoke about tWitch’s family values and legacy.

Chrisean Rock Says She’s Had Three Abortions With Blueface

It seems as though Blueface and Chrisean Rock’s relationship keeps getting more and more toxic with the more reports that come out. Whether you’re a fan of them or not, they have been all over the headlines throughout the year.

Adding to the drama, Rock recently revealed some new information surrounding the couple.

In an appearance on the Know For Sure podcast, she confesses to having three abortions with the “Bleed It” rapper. The media personality says that it hasn’t felt like the right time each time she’s been pregnant with his child.

“If I have a baby, I’m keeping it this time. I killed like, three of them. You know you always have that bad feeling, like, this [is] not right,” she reveals. When the hosts ask her if now is the right time, she seems to stumble over her words. “I wouldn’t mind if it was right now,” before retracting and saying she needs a ring before she has a kid with the L.A. native.

The couple have allegedly been in an on-and-off relationship for several years. Her career in entertainment began in 2020 when she starred in Blueface’s controversial reality show, Blue Girl’s Club. Although they say not to mix business with pleasure, the 25-year-old went on to sign her to his record label, Blueface LLC.

Last year, however, she was reportedly dropped by the label after a heated argument with the “Bleed It” rapper. She subsequently broke into one of his homes.

Furthermore, the toxic couple was publicly spotted in a physical altercation earlier this year. This wasn’t the first time.

Regardless of the countless fights, baby mama drama and tattoos, the couple is going ahead with their new reality TV show, aptly-titled Crazy In Love. The upcoming series will of course be available on Zeus Networks, home to other reality shows including Baddies South.
