GloRilla Defends Her Kamala Harris Rally Performance Amid So-So Crowd Claims

GloRilla is one of many hip-hop artists who endorsed Kamala Harris in her campaign for president of the United States, which citizens will vote on tomorrow (Tuesday, November 5). In fact, she even popped out to perform at Harris’ rally in Milwaukee on Friday (November 1), offering a medley of her smash hits “TGIF,” “Yeah Glo!,” “HOLLON,” and more. But not everyone seems impressed with the live show, as some critics online posited that the crowd wasn’t really feeling it. Well, the Memphis femcee recently took to Twitter to directly combat this narrative, responding to a user who lamented the censorship of much of her lyrical material.

“GloRilla performing at Kamala Harris rally in Milwaukee. She had mute every other word to make it somewhat appropriate. The crowd is CLEARLY disappointed,” a Twitter user wrote. “Da crowd was lit you trippingggggg,” she quote-tweeted in response. While it’s certainly true that we’d rather head the GLORIOUS spitter uncensored, it’s a Kamala Harris rally; what did people expect? Either way, the amount of support and acclaim she garnered online shows that these moments transcend their physical boundaries and are about something greater, much like politics themselves.

Other GloRilla fans are instead excited about her possible next career moves, including a teased collab project with Megan Thee Stallion. Whether or not this actually comes out is anyone’s guess, but there’s a lot of hope for it within their fanbases given their chemistry. It’s been a big year for Glo outside of electoral politics, dropping her debut album and a mixtape plus plenty of hot collaborations and singles. Hopefully this momentum persists into 2025, as hip-hop listeners have been bumping her hits all year.

Meanwhile, there are some Internet sleuths out there raising their eyebrows, but it’s not because of this Kamala Harris rally performance. It’s because of pregnancy rumors that GloRilla sparked during the GLORIOUS rollout, both through lyrical content and through baby bump pictures. Presumably, this could just be promo for a music video or something like that, as she sent various mixed signals on the subject. We’re sure that the near future will hold an answer.

Azealia Banks Goes Off On Cardi B’s “Eye-Gougingly Cringe” Kamala Harris Endorsement

Azealia Banks went off on Cardi B for her “eye gougingly cringe” endorsement of Kamala Harris in Wisconsin, last week. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), over the weekend, Banks criticized the Invasion of Privacy rapper while also sending some stray shots at Nicki Minaj.

“Cardi HAS to stop doing that stupid latina shtick she does cause it’s forced and not real,” Banks wrote. “Sis is from 158th n Broadway. She’s a Washington heights Mami at the core. Dominican women intelligent as hell, the shtick is a WILD misrepresentation. She’s not even a true throrough bred Bronx rat like she acts like. She moved there at 14. One thing her and Nicki share is secret super intelligence masked by ridiculous chickenhead antics. They are both SUPER smart and well spoken but act r*tarded to seem relatable. They deserve each other’s friendship tbh. Just pull a ladies night 2025 alreadyyyy.”

From there, Banks took more shots at Nicki Minaj as well: “Because they both really act like these dirtbag women they f*cking aren’t. I’d bet $1,000 cardi b’s story about drugging and stealing from men was a lie. Just like nicki’s story about selling Crack was a f*cking lie lmaoo. Nicki went to F. H. LaGuardia. Us LaGuardia girls literally are compleeeeeeeeete f*cking NERDS. We’re way too uppity and dedicated to art to sell Crack lmaoooo. Like get f*cking real.”

Swing State Controversies Amid the End of the 2024 Election Campaigns

2024 Elections Where both candidates stand on the major issues

2024 Elections Where both candidates stand on the major issues

The 2024 U.S. presidential election has boiled down to several swing states again in the spotlight. Historically, states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, and Arizona have played a key role in determining election outcomes. This year, we live in a charged environment where every vote is under scrutiny.

One major point of discussion has been the restriction of mail-in voting policies. Following the 2020 election, many swing states revised their voting laws to restrict mail-in and early voting options. In Georgia and Arizona, legislators enacted stricter regulations, arguing that these new measures would minimize potential fraud. Since enactment, these laws have been challenged in court by advocacy groups who claim they disproportionately affect minority and low-income voters.

Another area of dispute revolves around the certification of election results. In several swing states, election officials have been pressured to delay result certification if the outcome is close. This is particularly significant in states where narrow margins of victory could trigger recounts or additional legal scrutiny. In Pennsylvania, for example, lawsuits have already been filed challenging the counting process, fueling the partisan debate.

Social media has also amplified these controversies, as misinformation and targeted campaigns have influenced voters’ perceptions of the election process. Various fact-checking organizations have ramped up efforts to counter false claims but with varying levels of success.

With voter confidence at stake, the integrity of the election in swing states will continue to be a focal point for both parties and the public as we count down the election’s final days.

Keel Kalmala: VP Harris Joins Maya Rudolph for ‘SNL’ Before Election Day

kamala harris snl

Vice President Kamala Harris appeared surprisedly on Saturday Night Live this weekend as a “mirror image” alongside her impersonator, Maya Rudolph, in the show’s final pre-election episode. The skit, which aimed at recent political headlines, opened with Rudolph’s Harris contemplating the unique challenges of being a Black, South Asian woman running for president, wishing she could talk to someone who understood. Harris then appeared, drawing cheers as she sat across from Rudolph, responding, “You and me both, sister.”

The two exchanged witty banter, with Harris poking fun at recent events, including Donald Trump’s rally appearance in a sanitation vest. Harris encouraged Rudolph’s character, saying, “You got this,” and quipped that she had the unique ability to “open doors”—a nod to recent gaffes and Trump’s symbolic struggle with the garbage truck door.

The segment ended with playful rhymes on “Kamala,” including lines like “Kamala, take my palm-ala,” and “stop the chaos and end the drama-la.” Their humorous back-and-forth culminated in the iconic line, “Live from New York, it’s Saturday night!”

Cardi B Continues To Blast Haters After Kamala Harris Rally Speech: “I Worked So Hard”

This Friday (November 1), Cardi B delivered a powerful speech at Kamala Harris’ rally in Milwaukee. She touched on some key issues like healthcare, women’s rights, and the economy. Unfortunately, however, not everyone was a fan. Within no time she was receiving backlash online, which she wasted no time responding to.

Yesterday, the “Enough” rapper responded to one X user who accused her of accepting “a huge, undisclosed amount” of money for the speech. She quickly shut this rumor down and reminded social media users that she’s been discussing politics for free for years. Now, she’s hopped online to fire back at those who called her out for reading her speech from a phone due to technical difficulties involving the teleprompter.

Cardi B Claps Back

According to Cardi, having three children and a hectic life like hers means that her memory isn’t always at 100%. “I worked so hard, bro. I worked so hard on my speech… And a lot of y’all talking about ‘Oh, why are you reading it from a phone?’ B*tch, I had to write that sh*t down… B*tch, I’m 32 years old b*tch, and I have three kids. My mind be f*cking racing all goddamn day, b*tch.” She continued, noting how she’ll even forget confrontations she’s rehearsed in her head. This is far from the first time Cardi’s had to come to her own defense, as last night, Elon Musk also hopped online with some harsh words.

He accused her of being a “puppet,” which she denied in no time. “I’m not a puppet Elon,” she began, “I’m a daughter of two immigrant parents that had to work their a** off to provide for me! I’m a product of welfare, I’m a product of section 8, I’m a product of poverty and I’m a product of what happens when the system is set up against you….But you don’t know nothing about that. You don’t know not one thing about the American struggle…. PS fix my algorithm.” What do you think of Cardi B continuing to shut down critics following her speech at Kamala Harris’ rally? Barack Obama Has Some Hot Takes About “The Big Three”

Barack Obama was the most recent guest on the Deep Cut podcast with barber and media personality Vic Blends, and their conversation (which you can watch in full by clicking here) eventually led to his musical interests. More specifically, they spoke on “The Big Three,” everyone’s favorite talking point in 2024 a decade after the title was most relevant. Regardless, Blends shouted out J. Cole as his GOAT as a proud fellow North Carolina native. But the former POTUS had some hot takes – or omissions, we should say. He mostly focused on Kendrick Lamar, briefly referencing the Drake battle but also suggesting that there’s still an MC on top of all of them.

“Kendrick is a friend of mine,” Barack Obama remarked regarding the “Big Three” conversation. “I’ve been knowing him for a long time. He actually performed at the White House. I was the first, I think – I am pretty confident saying that not that many presidents were familiar with hip-hop before I was president. And I do think that Kendrick has a unique status right now, not just because of this summer. But he’s not just gifted, he’s serious about the message. He digs into himself. He digs deep. You’d enjoy Kendrick because when we get together, he wants to talk about fatherhood, those are the questions he’s talking about.”

Barack Obama Speaks On “The Big Three”

“I just talked to J [J. Cole] last week,” Barack Obama said of the Fayetteville lyricist, saying that he’s “very high on the list.” However, that’s when he revealed the rapper that he still thinks is on top, or at least, the one who holds the crown over any of the “Big Three.” “There’s a guy named Jay-Z from closer to my generation,” Obama posited. “Look, this is a lot like the MJ [Michael Jordan] versus the LeBron conversation, right,” he compared, pointing to all of their greatness.

Of course, there are other “Big Three” metrics to consider. Travis Scott, for example, is one of the top three most streamed rappers in the world, but he doesn’t fit in the historical and stylistic barriers of the Kendrick Lamar, Drake, and J. Cole conversation. If anything, Barack Obama’s words show that it’s more of an era-defining title than your absolute top three of all time. Both, though, are high praise.

Cardi B Claps Back At Elon Musk After “Puppet” Insult

Cardi B fired back at Elon Musk on X (formerly Twitter), Saturday after the site’s owner labeled her a “puppet” for endorsing Kamala Harris at a rally in Milwaukee. “Another puppet who can’t even talk without being fed the words,” Musk wrote in response to one clip of her speech. “The Kamala campaign has no authenticity or true empathy.”

Later in the night, Cardi fired back: “I’m not a puppet Elon.. I’m a daughter of two immigrant parents that had to work their ass off to provide for me! I’m a product of welfare, I’m a product of section 8, I’m a product of poverty and I’m a product of what happens when the system is set up against you….But you don’t know nothing about that. You don’t know not one thing about the American struggle…. PS fix my algorithm.”

During her speech, Cardi reflected on her previous comments about not wanting to support either candidate when Joe Biden was still in the race. “I did not have faith on any candidates until she joined the race and said the things that I wanted to hear, that I want to see next in this country,” she explained. “I believe every word that comes out of her mouth. She’s passionate, she’s compassionate, she shows empathy, and most of all, she’s not delusional. Kamala recognizes that this country is at risk. That the economy needs to get stronger, that the cost of food and the cost of living is too high.”

Elon Musk Tries To Tie Kamala Harris To Diddy In Latest Jab On Twitter

Elon Musk called out Kamala Harris on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday afternoon, accusing her of accepting endorsements from celebrities who have attended Diddy’s parties. The remark comes after authorities arrested the Bad Boy mogul on charges of alleged sex trafficking and racketeering, last month. In their indictment, prosecutors accused him of allegedly hosting “freak off” parties where he allegedly used violence and intimidation to make victims perform elaborate sex acts. He’s repeatedly denied all of the allegations.

In response to a report from the New York Post about early voting turnout, Musk wrote on his social media site: “No amount of Diddy party ‘celebrity’ endorsements can save Kamala.” The remark comes after he went back and forth with Cardi B, who had just recently endorsed Harris. The current Vice President also recently received support from Beyonce, Usher, Lizzo, and more artists.

Elon Musk has been supporting Donald Trump vehemently in recent months, even speaking at his campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. “As you can see I am not just MAGA — I am Dark MAGA,” he made headlines for saying at the event. Even before that, he faced tons of backlash for his response to Taylor Swift endorsing Kamala Harris, which she did while signing off on Instagram as a “childless cat lady,” a reference to J.D. Vance. Reacting to that post on X, Musk wrote: “Fine Taylor … you win … I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life.”

Candace Owens Reacts To Sexyy Red Voting For Kamala Harris

Earlier this week, Sexyy Red took to social media to announce that she cast her vote for Kamala Harris. “I just voted!!! Don’t tell us what to do with our coochies!! #Kamala4President,” she captioned a series of photos on X yesterday. The post took some fans by surprise, as she previously showed her support for Harris’ opponent, Donald Trump.

“I like Trump,” she said on This Past Weekend with Theo Von in 2023. “Yeah, they support him in the hood. At first I don’t think people was f*cking with him. They thought he was racist, saying little sh*t against women. But once he started getting Black people out of jail and giving people that free money. Aww baby, we love Trump. We need him back in office. We need him back because, baby, them checks. Them stimulus checks. Trump, we miss you.”

Candace Owens Mocks Sexyy Red After She Votes For Kamala Harris

Unsurprisingly, Sexyy’s Tweet sparked mixed reactions. While some were glad to see that the “SkeeYee” rapper had a change of heart, others were less than impressed. Recently, for example, Candace Owens shared her take on Sexyy Red’s endorsement during an episode of her show Candace. She reacted by mocking her, and sarcastically claiming there’s no way Donald Trump can win the election now. This isn’t the first time she’s gone after a rapper, or even the first time she’s gone after Sexyy Red, so her remarks don’t necessarily come as a shock.

As for Harris, she’s received several celebrity endorsements in recent weeks. Yesterday, for example, Cardi B spoke at her rally in Milwaukee. GloRilla, Flo Milli, MC Lyte, and more also performed. What do you think of Sexyy Red endorsing Kamala Harris? What about Candace Owens mocking her for it? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

GloRilla Supports Kamala Harris With Explosive Rally Performance: Watch

Yesterday, Kamala Harris was joined by several special guests at her rally in Milwaukee, including Cardi B and GloRilla. Cardi delivered a speech about women’s rights, the economy, and more. She also slammed her opponent Donald Trump, referring to him as “Donny Dump.” One of the most notable moments of the evening was GloRilla’s performance, which included a medley of her hits. She performed “TGIF,” “Yeah Glo!,” “Hollon,” and more.

Her performance took place just a few days after she endorsed Harris on TikTok, sharing a few of the reasons she believes the Democratic nominee deserves her vote. “A woman’s right to choose, Protect the LGBTQIA+ Community, Funding for Public Education and $15/hr minimum wage,” she listed earlier this week.

GloRilla Performs At Kamala Harris’ Rally In Milwaukee

It also took place months after Glo was given the opportunity to meet with President Joe Biden and Harris at the White House. She opened up about the experience during an interview with CNN. “It was so cool, I was geeked,” she told the outlet in March. “Everybody don’t get to meet the President and the Vice President. […] I never thought in a million years I’d be in the White House. Then, I was in the White House and got to meet the President and Vice President? I was like, ‘Now, they can’t mess with me!’”

GloRilla’s mother even weighed in at the time, making it clear how much the opportunity also meant to her. “I’ve come with being the woman with a bunch of kids, living in a blue house with no furniture in Frayser to the classiest, most beautiful, and most talented rapper of this generation’s mom who’s moved on up to a beautifully furnished house. Get ’em, Glo!” she said in a text, per Billboard. What do you think of GloRilla performing at Kamala Harris’ rally in Milwaukee earlier this week?
