Above, you can see a now-deleted tweet in which Nicki sent some shots at an unidentified person(s). “When you are a rapper, you know the history of the greats & when you are an internet personality, you do not,” Nicki Minaj wrote. “So if you knew the history of the very culture you are trying to penetrate, you’d sitcho goofy ahh df down. It costs you nothing to stfu.” Of course, fans are already trying to figure out who this is about. Although, all attempts to figure it out have proven to be futile.

Nicki Minaj shared several snippets from her upcoming album, Pink Friday 2, on social media, earlier this week. The previews have fans stoked for new music from the legendary rapper. The new project will serve as a sequel to her debut studio album of the same name from 2010.

One of the snippets soundtracks a video of Minaj posing for a photo shoot, while another plays in the background as she lip-syncs along to the unreleased song. Both clips resulted in excited responses from fans. “This snippet has me in a whole nother dimension I can feel a fresh wind,” one user replied. Another wrote: “Please stop comparing anyone to her. Male or female idgafff she’s in a lane of her own. Nobody else can do this.”

Pink Friday 2 is set for release on November 17 and will serve as Minaj’s first studio album since 2018’s Queen. She first announced the release date back in June, while also revealing that she intends to embark on a tour in support of the album the following year. “I love you guys so much,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “I am so grateful for the years of support & love you guys have given me. At times maybe I didn’t even deserve all that you have poured into me. Nonetheless, you. will. love. this. album. I will give tour deets closer to that time, but obviously the tour will start around the first quarter of 2024. Nicki Minaj says that she once went against Kanye West’s idea to appear on “Right Thru Me” instead of “Blazin” and that it’s one of the “dumbest” decisions she’s ever made. She recalled the making of her iconic album, Pink Friday, during a recent live stream on TikTok. The discussion comes ahead of the release of her highly anticipated sequel to the album.

“I don’t know if you guys have heard this story about ‘Blazin,’ but I wanted Kanye to be on ‘Blazin’ and he wanted to be on ‘Right Thru Me’,” Minaj explained. She concluded: “Dumbest fucking decision I ever made.” Minaj released “Right Thru Me” as the second single from Pink Friday and it performed much better than “Blazin.”

Moreover, a lot of fans are understandably ecstatic for her upcoming album Pink Friday 2, set to release towards the end of this year. More importantly, it seems like the Queen is equally as enticed, as she’s teased the album a lot and spoken often about her excitement for it. Most recently, she took to Twitter to tease what the Trinidadian MC calls the best song she’s ever put on paper. When responding to a fan anticipating a culture shift, Nicki evoked Daenerys Targaryen and proclaimed that she’s not stopping the wheel; she’s breaking it.

“The greatest song I’ve ever written,” Nicki Minaj wrote on the social media platform. “My goodness. Opened the vault & played it last night & the reaction >>>. My babies have to have this. Nicki Minaj continues to get fans ready for Pink Friday 2. In her latest tweet update, Minaj guarantees “eargasms” as she worked on her current Top 2 songs from the body of work.

“Yesterday I worked on my current TOP 2 songs off PF2,” Minaj wrote on Twitter. “The eargasms that YALL are about to have. Ooohhhh chiiiii huntyyyyy don’t make dat serveeee.”

In a previous update, Minaj declared what would happen when Pink Friday 2 dropped.

Nicki Minaj Shared A Special Story About How The Title Of Her Upcoming Album Came To Her

While many of the rap girlies of the summer on lock, the queen is gearing up to remind everyone who’s running the game. This November, Nicki Minaj will release her long-awaited fifth studio album, Pink Friday 2.

Minaj revealed the title and release date for Pink Friday 2 about a month ago, and is continuing to tease it. Today (July 29), she took to Twitter to check in with the Barbz and offer an update.

“Y’all, I’m not even kidding. In 111 days, Pink Friday 2 is coming to save & restore hope in mankind,” she said, “omg barbz I love you I dooooo! Like when y’all have this masterpiece y’all gon be on [cloud emoji] [9 emoji]. Omg I love it so much y’all.”

She also shared a special story about how the title of her upcoming album came to her.

“I tweeted PF2 pregnant I believe right y’all?,” she said. “That means papa gave mama the name. And so shall it be…blessed.”

“Papa” refers “Papa Bear,” the nickname Minaj gave her son, whose actual name, she has not revealed.

Minaj did, in fact, post a tweet reading “PF2” back in June of 2020.

However, she shared today that she was initially hesitant to title the album Pink Friday 2, which suggests it’s a follow-up to her 2010 debut album, Pink Friday.

“I was apprehensive calling it PF2 b/c the barbz were yelling @ me & saying they hope I knew those r big shoes to fill,” she said, “but now I know that I’ve done her proud. She will forEVERRRR be THAT GIRLLL!!!!”

Pink Friday 2 is out 11/17 via Republic Records and Heavy On It.
