Stevie J Gushes Over Eve In Throwback Pics, Fans Remind Him She’s Taken

Stevie J recently settled his divorce from Faith Evans, and it looks like he’s already reminiscing on past flames. Moreover, the record producer recently posted a series of throwback pictures with his ex-girlfriend Eve, the legendary Ruff Ryders rapper who dated Stevie a couple of decades ago. “#tbt Circa 1999/2000 One of my favorite rappers! The Legend EVE #DZ,” he captioned his Instagram post. However, it seems like a lot of fans quickly assumed that the DJ was just thirsting for her rather than reminiscing on good times. As such, they quickly joked with him that Eve is happily married to Maximillion Cooper, and has been since 2014.

In fact, Stevie J took the time to respond to some of these comments and clear the air. “She’s happily married Stevie,” one fan wrote with crying-laughing emojis. “I’m happy for her,” the Buffalo native replied simply, so at least in his words, he isn’t trying to be messy or anything like that. “Bro he named his daughter [Eva] after her,” another fan added. “Nah I named my daughter after Mimi’s mom,” he retorted, referencing his former partner Mimi Faust.

What’s curious is that this is far from the first story to emerge from Stevie J’s past romances following his recent divorce. For example, Joseline Hernandez (another one of the 49-year-old’s exes) recently dished about an alleged threesome she had with him and Mimi. While the Joseline’s Cabaret was quite blunt and quick when asked about it, her assessment throws some lewd shade at one of the two other members. “I’ve had better head,” she stated simply, and perhaps we’ll never know who she was referring to.

Brandon Casey Of Jagged Edge Shares Grueling Car Crash Pictures, Says He’s Recovered

Brandon Casey, R&B singer of the group Jagged Edge, recently had a scary brush with death on the road. Moreover, he shared a picture of his demolished vehicle on his Instagram page following a nasty car crash. The group’s official IG page also sent their best wishes to their star member, and fortunately it seems like he’s at least recovering well. The Atlanta-based recording group is still putting out music today, so hopefully this doesn’t yield any more unfortunate results for the collective. For example, last year they teamed up with Canadian R&B duo dvsn for their new single “What’s Up,” one of many examples of the group remaining in public consciousness.

Regardless of all that, it seems like the So So Def Recordings signee is just happy to be with us still. “When u know god got u thru it you gotta say Thank u,” Brandon Casey wrote as his post’s caption. “U gotta feel gratitude not jus speak it. With this in mind, it’s heartening to hear that this worrisome incident seemed to smooth over as well as it could’ve for the 47-year-old. Unfortunately, other instances of Jagged Edge showing up in pop culture or news cycles were much less sympathetic, albeit for good (and unconfirmed) reason. For example, Matthew Knowles claimed back in December of 2019 that Brandon Casey and his group sexually assaulted members of Destiny’s Child. The group as an entity denied it outright, and Casey chimed in a few months later to double down.

Studio pics are a double-edged sword; sometimes, they lead up to a hyped release, and other times they never end up happening. What’s more is that some of the session pairings that people get excited over are pretty predictable or no-brainers. No one’s surprised when two rappers of similar styles, popularity, or affiliations link up to cook; they’re just excited to hear it happen. In that same vein, R&B artists working with each other usually results in a blend that, although different for each artist, is basically just math. Moreover, that’s what makes Brent Faiyaz and Sexyy Red meeting in the booth so enticing: no one knows what on Earth they could cook up.

Still, that’s not to say it’s a revolutionary concept. The WASTELAND crooner is well-versed and connected in the rap sphere, and if there’s anyone who doesn’t care about genre labels, it’s Brent Faiyaz. On the other hand, Sexyy Red just exploded in the game, so experimentation and different lanes can surely follow. With that in mind, it’s very exciting to see that both creatives might dip into a wholly different lane, either for one or for both.

Furthermore, both artists have actually been hard at work releasing collaborations or preparing them. For example, Brent Faiyaz recently dropped the single “Moment Of Your Life” with Coco Jones, displaying some infectious chemistry and songwriting skills. On the other hand, Sexyy Red recently teased a team-up with Lil Durk for a remix, which should result in some invigorating energy and bombast. Maybe they will apply what they learned from each to this new process. Although things could be as simple as a feature in each other’s lane, it would be very interesting if they decide to make something fresher together.

Abel Tesfaye will soon hang up The Weeknd moniker, but not before he finishes his trilogy (and discography) with its last installment. Moreover, his most recent social media post hinted to fans that his last era is in development, and that he has some big and familiar names helping him out. The Canadian superstar recently uploaded some studio session pictures to his Twitter account featuring none other than Metro Boomin and Mike Dean. Considering both legendary producers’ extensive collaborative history with Abel, it’s no wonder that fans are expecting more heat from this link-up. All they can hope for is that something drops soon, and that this post isn’t just a tease that won’t come to fruition for a while longer.

However, since the After Hours creative is still on tour, maybe he takes a while before diving into another project full-on. That being said, he did keep up with the rollout and release of his HBO series “The Idol” during these tours, in addition to dropping new music for it. Sure, the show was far from the most universally praised piece of content this year, but it was certainly one of the most talked-about. As such, all this anticipation and these extracurricular have fans thirsting for The Weeknd’s grand finale.

Still, there are other avenues that The Weeknd could take to wrap up this phase of his career, and they might involve some names in these studio snaps. Given their appearances on each other’s previous work, this wouldn’t be surprising, but no less welcome for die-hards.

One of these came courtesy of 50 Cent on Instagram: “See this is why I don’t go to no party puffy and them at [side eye emoji],” he wrote. “Da f**k is going on here [facepalm emoji, sulking emoji] get the f**k off my young [ninja emoji] WTF!”

After this came out, Boosie Badazz hopped on Instagram Live to voice his frustration with people criticizing the Atlanta rapper. “I ain’t finna s**t on Lil Baby,” he responded to a commenter, saying it was just a poor picture and isn’t about what people assume. “I don’t give a f**k what picture he took. Offset Blasts People Who Photoshopped Pictures Of Cardi B As A Meme

That being said, when it comes to recent Photoshops of one of her Instagram posts, the Georgia rapper is done playing around with fans’ games. Moreover, the Photoshop in question is a picture of Cardi sitting down looking off into the distance, and the edited part itself is the caption. Instead of “I need a tan,” it reads “I miss my granny.” Of course, this is in reference to ‘Set’s IG post where that was the caption, which he published right after he got caught cheating on Cardi and they had a brief split.

Furthermore, while on Instagram Live, Offset addressed the viral pictures. “I really be missing my granny and y’all be on the Internet playing games,” the 31-year-old expressed. What’s more is that this Photoshop only came about because now Cardi B is facing cheating allegations of her own. The caption under Megan The Stallion’s post reads “Did a lil blueberry lip for the LV Fashion show.” The third photo in her post shows off the specific Revlon products she used to help pull off the look. Included in the post is even more flexing from Megan who has a simple look, but one that fit her perfectly. The most extravagant part of presentation were the long black high-contrast nails she was sporting. Like with many musicians, much of the comments under her post wanted just one thing, more music. “Ig model? or rapper where the music,” one of the top comments on the post reads.

One story in particular has followed Megan Thee Stallion for years and it’s still an ongoing one. In 2020 she was shot in the foot by rapper Tory Lanez who was convicted of three charges related to the shooting last year. Even now new stories are being released about the trial, including recent news that various lawyers gave Lanez conflicting advice throughout the proceedings. He is currently awaiting sentencing for the charges and potentially faces more than 22 years in prison.

Megan Thee Stallion has been silent musically so far in 2023 with no new singles.
