Drake “So Far Gone” Era Pictures Surface Online

These days, it’s almost hard not to find pictures of Drake everywhere online. The Canadian rap and pop superstar grew his profile exponentially since the early days of So Far Gone, his 2009 breakout mixtape. However, glimpses of that era are more interesting and historic than ever, and one podcast aims to recapture some of that media. Moreover, The Blog Era podcast aims to take listeners on a journey through the explosion of hip-hop media in the 2000s, and took a look at the seminal tape for its third episode. On their Twitter feed, they commemorated the occasion with some never-before-seen snapshots of Aubrey Graham before So Far Gone truly started his path towards industry dominance.

“In honor of episode 3 day, let’s post some old/rare Drake photos,” the account’s post read. “This is of the original four OVO guys- Niko, Drake, Oliver and 40. Shot in Toronto’s Dundas Square the week before So Far Gone dropped.” In another post with pictures, they wrote, “Some more from that photo shoot, as Drake is on the precipice of fame and his life being changed forever. No crowds. Just OVO, being left alone in the busiest section of Toronto.” In addition, they even got Drizzy on set in another tweet. “These are Drake, and Drake/Trey Songz on the set of the Successful video shoot, filmed in Toronto in 2009. Drake Throwback Pictures Emerge

To elaborate on this podcast’s concept, it specifically anchors itself around the rap blogosphere in media and which artists represented its boom the best. Of course, Drake evolved past pleasing the blogs to selling out stadiums and leaving his mark in every corner of the game. In fact, it’s fascinating to think of Drake’s critical and fan reception now and compare it to how clowned he was when he began. Sure, he still has his haters and gained new ones along the way. But jabs at him land like a high school bully punching Gervonta Davis, and the 6 God won over a million dollars for betting on him to beat Ryan Garcia recently.

Meanwhile, listening to new Drake tracks- even loosies like “Search & Rescue“- map out his trajectory. Even as his career gained incredible heights and he went on to play with other genres, he stuck true to his skills. He brought melody to new heights in rap, could still spit cold 16s on command, and did so much more in the process. Regardless of your take on his music, check out some more unearthed So Far Gone-era pics down below. Also, return to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Drake.

Iggy Azalea Teases Fans With Studio Pictures

Iggy Azalea just shared some new pictures of her in the studio, hinting towards new music dropping soon. Moreover, she looks calm and happy in front of the mic, cooking up on her tablet amid synthesizers, a bouquet of flowers, and other recording equipment. Of course, those who frequent Iggy’s IG are likely more familiar with her sultry snaps, sometimes promoting her OnlyFans account. While that’s brought her a lot of success, she’s also expressed a desire to keep her career going in conjunction with her other ventures. As such, perhaps we’ll see a new era for the Sydney artist.

Not only that, but she already has an idea of what she’d like to do next- and who with. Furthermore, she expressed a strong desire to work with Britney Spears again. The two previously collaborated on the 2015 cut “Pretty Girls.” Also, she detailed how she witnessed the hardships Britney faced due to her fortunately concluded conservatorship under her father. Like many others online, Azalea was a vocal and impassioned advocate for the #FreeBritney movement.

Iggy Azalea In The Studio

“My collaboration with her is always one of my favorite collaborations,” the “Fancy” MC remarked to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live. “I feel like… I’ve spoken about this before, but I just feel like there was so much we wanted to do with it. And we never got to do what we wanted to do.” In addition, she said that the two still keep in touch over Instagram. “She was so limited, obviously. Now she has the ability to do it her way 100 percent. I love Britney, and she’s so much more creative than what people give her credit for.”

“What she did with Elton was so amazing,” she said about the pop star’s Elton John collab, “Hold Me Closer.” Moreover, she released that as her first work following the end of her conservatorship. “I would love to be a part of more of anything that she had to do. Especially when they’re 100 percent her own ideas.” In other potential collab news, Andy asked her to choose between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, which is not easy considering both their impact and their beef. Check out what she had to say here and return to HNHH for the latest on Iggy Azalea.

Nicki Minaj Keeps The Thirst Traps Coming With More Swimsuit Pictures

Nicki Minaj kept her Instagram page hot with more thirst traps in a beautiful black swimsuit. Moreover, her last post was a simple single picture of the rapper laying peacefully on a sofa and showing off her body. Now, it seems like she got some more wonderful snaps from that little photoshoot to share with fans, and people unsurprisingly hyped her up in the comments. JT of City Girls fame, Kim Petras, Chlöe Bailey, and more sent her admiring messages and compliments. Such commotion and praise on a regular social media post just goes to show how beloved Nicki is these days.

However, it’s not like that praise hasn’t come with a fair share of controversy and conflict. For example, her husband Kenneth Petty failed to attend a mediation concerning his sexual assault case due to health reasons. While sickness is understandable, it’s the third extension of said mediation this month. As such, many fans are suspicious and critical of Minaj’s support, even though external reports can only do so much to illuminate a case like this. Despite that, she seems to have sidestepped accusations of harassment against her, so the criticism mainly came against her partner.

Nicki Minaj Brings The Heat In New Thirst Trap Post

Still, Minaj has had an incredibly successful past few months thanks to high-profile performances and singles. For example, her most recent single “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” garnered much attention and acclaim for various reasons. One of those is apparently shading Megan Thee Stallion and Latto through subliminal bars on the record. Sure, some people want more from their songs than the typical rap beef, but the 40-year-old had bars to spare. In fact, if you weren’t a fan of that track, chances are her previous singles will catch your attention even more.

Meanwhile, the Pinkprint MC also had a recent crossover into the on-screen world. Moreover, her track “Super Freaky Girl” appeared as the soundtrack for the trailer for No Hard Feelings, Jennifer Lawrence’s upcoming comedy. Perhaps this hints at more extracurricular endeavors from Minaj in the future. But of course, it wouldn’t be her first film foray, and she can bank on the impact of her music. Regardless, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Nicki Minaj.

Tupac Shakur’s Unreleased 1992 Pictures Auctioned As NFTs

The greatest rappers of all time can’t escape the Web3 proliferation craze of the 2020s, even in death. Previously unreleased pictures of Tupac Shakur from 1992 are being auctioned as NFTs. Moreover, the photos are of the West Coast legend’s performance at Prince’s Grand Slam West nightclub in Minneapolis. Furthermore, MakersPlace will auction off the 17 snaps starting Thursday (February 23) at 3pm EST. Titled “2Pacalypse92,” Lawrence “Loupy D” Dotson took all the shots, and he formerly served as managing editor at Kronick Magazine. Even though many might be disappointed by the digital nature of this enterprise, not all hope is lost for fans of both Tupac and physical media.

In fact, each NFT will come paired with its own original negative. To elaborate, collectors can own a piece of the genre’s performance history that exists in both digital and physical spaces. “The atmosphere was hyped,” Loupy D recalled concerning the late legend’s 1992 performance. “The crowd was loving it. He put on a show. He wasn’t just a rapper, he was a performer, he had a theater background. Tupac knew he had to engage the crowd.”

Tupac’s Unreleased 1992 Pictures Revived As NFTs

Moreover, some of these snapshots will appear in the upcoming Dear Mama docuseries from FX. The deep dive will focus, as the title implies, on the “California Love” MC, his mother, and their relationship. Afeni Shakur was a former Black Panther who influenced the rapper greatly, and passed away in 2016. “For Tupac superfans, I believe that two of the most important things in the project is the never seen before,” said series director, executive producer, and writer Allen Hughes. “But most importantly, you get to understand why he made certain decisions.”

Meanwhile, fans might get to hear more music from Tupac very soon, as his estate and other collaborators promised new music soon. Also, this isn’t the first time a valuable piece of Pac memorabilia made the news recently. The late great John Singleton owned a portrait of the MC from the film “Baby Boy” that’s valued at $75,000. While not many details were shared concerning these 1992 pics, we’re sure it’ll cost a pretty penny to commemorate his legacy. Regardless, stick around on HNHH for the latest news on Tupac Shakur and his enduring presence.

Blue Ivy Poses With Lil Uzi Vert

Blue Ivy Carter just posed with Lil Uzi Vert at this year’s Super Bowl, which was a wild crossover to see. Of course, it’s not the first time that the “Sauce It Up” star snapped some pictures with the Roc Nation family. Moreover, they appeared at the Roc Nation Brunch last week before the 65th Grammy Awards, rocking a slicked-back hairstyle. By the time they took the Grammys stage to perform “Just Wanna Rock,” however, they returned to their spiky look. Still, it was wholesome to see Uzi hang with Hov and Blue, especially given their home city’s team lost further into the night.

Still, even Jay got in for some pictures, a sight that many old-heads back in 2016 would’ve gagged at. Furthermore, it just goes to show the 27-year-old’s incredible career trajectory and consistently upward trajectory. For example, it hasn’t even been five months since “Just Wanna Rock” dropped and it’s already hailed as a classic. DJ Drama recently said that it’s the new anthem of Philadelphia, overtaking Meek Mill’s iconic “Dreams and Nightmares (Intro).” However, the Eternal Atake MC hesitated to make any calls or disrespect Meek like that.

I don’t think so,” they expressed humbly. “That song like been around for a very long time, and that song is still hitting exactly the same way. I’m just gonna have to see, you know, in a couple of years or a decade or whatever. [Meek] that’s a big Homie from Philly, and that’s like one of my big homies. So I just like feed off the energy that he gives actually to be able to even produce or put out that type of music. So like, hopefully, like s**t, hopefully. He [Meek] would hope that for me too. Not yet though it’s too early to tell.”

Moreover, the “Going Bad” rapper had thoughts of his own. “Intro been lighting the world for 10 years!” he claimed via Twitter. “Like shaking rooms for years!” Later, he suggested that the Eagles come out to Uzi, and play him if they win. Meanwhile, Blue Ivy’s probably looking forward to more performances like her guest spot during Beyoncé’s Dubai show. Whether she’s got another show coming, stick around on HNHH for the latest on Uzi, Blue Ivy, and their entourage.

Jay-Z Helps Blue Ivy Take Pictures At Super Bowl

Even the best rapper in the world has to step back to let his true star shine. Jay-Z recently helped his daughter Blue Ivy out with some pictures at this year’s Super Bowl. Moreover, onlookers spotted the father-daughter duo on the field before the big game began. As Ivy adjusted her hoodie, hair, and other clothing to look snazzy, Hov crouched down, almost sitting, as he searched for the right angle. Then, the 11-year-old jumped up into the air, and it seems like Jay got the pic. They looked at the phone so that the RENAISSANCE heiress could approve of the post. Who knows how many retakes they took, although with the rap legend’s skill, maybe not any at all.

Moreover, the New York artist an entrepreneur helped Rihanna organize and execute her Super Bowl halftime performance. After all, he handles entertainment ventures and live performance bookings for the NFL. During an interview, RiRi spoke on how her son inspired her for her show. “When you become a mom, there’s just something that happens that makes you feel like you could take on the world. You could do anything. The Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world,” she explained. Though it’s been seven years since her last performance, she felt there was no better time than now. “It’s important for me to do this this year, it’s important for representation. It’s important for my son.”

Maybe Jay-Z finds similar inspiration in Blue Ivy. Still, that family is chock-full of greatness and points of inspiration. Furthermore, Jay-Z recently gushed about his wife Beyoncé’s album RENAISSANCE and how it shifted the culture. However, he did so while acknowledging that its loss for Album of the Year at this year’s Grammys means little. “I remove myself from the process and hope they just get it right,” he told Elliot Wilson in a Tidal interview. “It got to the point where I was like, it’s just a marketing thing. You go, you got an album out and it could help the sales go up.”

“Look what [RENAISSANCE has] done to the culture,” he continued. “Look how the energy of the world moved. They play her whole album in the club. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen that. The whole entire joint — like, everything?! Every remix is amazing. Everyone’s inspired. It has inspired the world. Every remix is better than the other one. From anybody, we’re just finding these joints out in the street… It’s inspiring creativity. You know how The Black Album had The Grey Album [Danger Mouse’s 2004 mashup project]? And the one with Radiohead? It was called Jaydiohead [Minty Fresh Beats’ 2009 mashup]. When it just inspires creativity, that’s an album. That has to be Album Of The Year. It has to be.” Regardless of your thoughts on that, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest on Jay-Z.

Coi Leray Posts Thirst Trap Booty Pics On Instagram

Coi Leray recently posted some thirst trap pictures on Instagram, showing off her body and colorful fits. Moreover, the rapper and singer uploaded various pictures in varying poses, places, and fits. For example, she rocked a see-through knitted top and bottom in the first pic, smiling in the mirror. Also, she donned a pink beanie and puffer jacket, blue pants, and a knitted green-and-white bucket hat. For what it’s worth, all the fits came together quite nicely, and they’re pretty consistent to boot. While Leray might have great style, her most recent headline came after accusations of biting a leaked Latto track.

Moreover, “Blick Blick” leaked onto the Internet along with 130 other songs from Latto. The track officially released as a Coi Leray collab with Nicki Minaj, but Latto had a reference track among the leaks. As such, many wondered whether the “Big Energy” MC actually penned lyrics for Coi’s song. However, she denied knowing that Latto ever recorded that version. “I had no clue that she cut that record,” she stated to Billboard during an interview. “I kinda look at it like a collab. It’s like if Gucci or Moncler wanted me on the cover wearing their stuff, and I like the stuff, then if I don’t like it, I don’t have to wear it. It’s the same thing with that song.”

“If you play me a song and I think I could kill that s**t, I’ma businesswoman,” the 25-year-old continued. “Not only am I talented, I’m also about my business. If that s**t’s a smash and I’m like, ‘All right cool, let’s do it,’ I have the option to change whatever I want in the song. I have the options to tweak or do whatever. Once you give me the song, you can’t tell me what to do. You could give me advice and I’ma cut it. Even when we did ‘Blick Blick,’ the hook was already cut and we did the verse together. That’s why the verses sound different. I heard Latto’s version and the verses sound different but the hook was there.”

“A lot of great music hooks are written and I don’t know,” she concluded. “It’s a formula. I’ve only been in the industry for four years, and now I’m at point where I feel like I’m breaking superstar status and I’m learning that formula. I’m gonna be at a point where I’m making those f***ing songs for the biggest of the biggest just off the simple fact I learned the formula. But if you put me in the studio with any one of these b***hes I swear they’re not seeing me in any way. They’re not coming out with no hit. And I say that in the most humblest, friendliest, loving, and friendly competition way.” As always, come back to HNHH for more celebrity posts and the latest on Coi Leray.
