King Harris Opens Up About The Challenges Of Parenting

King Harris recently discussed the challenges of parenting in a video shared on social media, after welcoming his first child, earlier this month. He began by revealing that friends have been hitting him up joking about how little sleep he must be getting. Harris explained that, in actuality, he never got any sleep before becoming a father because he was always out working and partying. “But now, I’m damn sure not getting no sleep,” he remarked.

“This n***a be up every morning, and then around the morning time he likes to do that little live concert I be doing with him. And he like to walk around house, that’s what I’ve been dealing with!” he added. He concluded by promoting his Snapchat account.

When The Shade Room shared the post on Instagram, fans came to Harris’ defense as users trolled him over the video. “Y’all so damn mean & all this boy was trying to do is tell everybody how his parenting is going & he seems genuinely happy about it,” one user wrote. Another added: “He seems like he’s enjoying himself and his baby. That’s great! Leave this man alone.”

DDG Claps Back At Critic Accusing Him Of Exploiting His Son For Fame

DDG fired back at a fan on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday afternoon when a user accused him of exploiting his baby for fame. “Stop using your son for fame you weirdo,” the user wrote to DDG after he shared a picture of his son. DDG shot back with a quote-tweet: “I never understood this narrative when my son can’t even talk yet. He’s ‘famous’ rn because of his parents. If ur dad posted you when u were young, no one would care lol.”

Fans in the replies were stoked about the clapback. “Lol.. I don’t understand the hat£ on a man posting his own kid. Lots of people do it too and it’s okay why his gotta be different??,” one user wrote. Another added: “You’re just like any other parent posting pictures of their children. How dare u, you’re a monster. I got 5 kids and I’m nobody so his logic is wrong. Lol.”

DDG and Halle Bailey welcomed their son back in December 2023. Less than a year later, the two announced that they were parting ways. “After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways,” the rapper wrote on his Instagram Story. “The decision was not easy, but we believe it’s the best part forward for both of us. I cherish the time we’ve spent together and the love we shared. Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true.”

Dame Dash Under Fire For His Hot Take About Parenting

Dame Dash is taking care of a lot of family matters these days. For example, he recently revealed why he waited longer than others would’ve to evacuate Florida with his family due to the passage of Hurricane Milton. Now, the Roc-A-Fella executive divided fans with his hot take about parenting. Basically, he doesn’t want his son to be more influenced by his mother’s “feminine” sensibilities, although his overall point isn’t as hot-button as this specific statement.

“How can I let him hang out with somebody but his dad?” Dame Dash said on Instagram Live with his son alongside him. “Don’t let another man be his influence. Or even let, you know, his mother be the one that is his strongest influence and have him doing feminine stuff. You know what I mean? We a man right here, right? Give me five. We know how to take – don’t leave me hanging, give me five. Alright, then. We know our job, you know what I mean? Elsewhere, Dame Dash is also dealing with issues with his former chosen family. Cardi B has responded to users on social media who don’t think she’s been spending enough time with her newborn daughter after she went out with her friends in New York City over the weekend. During a stop at The Stafford Room on Saturday night, she was momentarily at the same location as her ex, Offset, although TMZ reports they came and left separately.

“I be with my baby all day…I need to go out,” Cardi B said on Instagram Live. “I’m going through a divorce right now. If I stay home and f*cking depress myself, that sh*t’s gonna drive me crazy. That’s why I’m working, and the weekends, I’m going out with my girls. So, stop. I don’t ever wanna go through a f*cking postpartum depression ever again, and I’m avoiding that.”

Cardi filed for divorce from Offset, earlier this year, for the second time since their marriage in 2017. She recently confirmed that this time is definitive, however. “Slowly but surely, everybody gotta go their separate ways,” she said during a recent conversation on X Spaces caught by Billboard. “My kids gotta get used to that, ‘No, you’re not going to come home every single day and your dad is gonna be here.’ Slowly, but surely. It’s kinda hard — I don’t wanna talk about it ’cause I don’t wanna get emotional — but it’s kinda hard, as an adult, you gonna get used to a certain type of lifestyle without being with somebody. But it’s also kinda hard for your kids to get used to that, ‘Your dad is not going to be here with you every day after school. Your dad is not going to be picking you up after school.’”

Iggy Azalea Shades Playboi Carti While Labeling Herself A “Single Mother”

Iggy Azalea seemingly dissed her ex, Playboi Carti, during a recent appearance on the Dinner’s On Me podcast, during which she discussed parenthood. In doing so, she labeled herself a “single mother” despite sharing her son with the Whole Lotta Red rapper. The two welcomed their son, Onyx, back in 2020.

“I’m very much a single mother,” Azalea explained of their situation. “I’m very much the only parent, no disrespect, but yes, I am not co-parenting really, and that’s just the reality of it. It’s one, it’s 24/7.” Later in the interview, she continued to discuss how being a mother has impacted her lifestyle.

Sukihana Urges Parents To Keep Their Children Away From Her Music: “I’m An Adult Entertainer”

Sukihana is an artist who has proven to be incredibly polarizing. The reality star/adult entertainer-turned-rapper has been making waves with her music. Overall, it is raunchy and contains lyrics that would certainly offend some people. However, she is part of the same wave that has ultimately turned Sexyy Red into a huge star. Luckily, Suki is very self-aware about her music and the effect it has. For instance, she spoke about how she keeps her children away from her music, on My Expert Opinion with Math Hoffa.

“I don’t let my kids listen to my music. I’m an adult entertainer,” she explained. “I make vulgar music, and just, like, Hip Hop. What I will tell you is that kids should be kids. Just like I monitor who my kids listen to, I wouldn’t let my kids listen to me. Maybe one day, I’ll make a kid’s song, a children’s song, and they’ll listen to that.” As far as the future of her music, Sukihana admitted that she is looking to change things up. She knows that she has grown as a person, and it only makes sense for her to deliver lyrical content that speaks on other topics.

“I feel like me growing up now – because people watched me from the beginning and they see me know and they still think I’m over there,” she revealed. “But, I have grown and matured as a woman and so I do plan on making more music that children could listen to. Because I do have an influence on a lot of people. And I know that I have to change it up because that’s what I’m here to do.”

He voiced his frustration regarding the situation in a pair of posts on his Twitter page on Monday afternoon. “Happy bday czar me and papi called you 10 times today!” Meek wrote in one post. In another, he added: “My other son can’t even wish my other son happy bday … it’s looks perfect on the net!”

Fans shared supportive messages in the replies. “I don’t know you but I just wants to tell you not to give up yet. There’s always hope dear friend just with time things will get better wishing you a successful day,” one fan wrote. Another added: “Sorry to hear tht , pray tht God will changes things soon on their behalf.”

DDG Fires Back At Critics After Holding Baby Halo With One Hand

A few months back, DDG and his girlfriend Halle Bailey welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Halo. Since the little one’s arrival, fans have had a blast watching the pair adjust to parenthood. While Bailey has received more than enough backlash for keeping her pregnancy private, she and the rapper have mostly been met with an outpouring of support. Unfortunately, however, the young couple has also been met with a great deal of scrutiny.

Earlier this week, for example, DDG took to social media to share some selfies he took with Halo. One might expect countless doting comments about the father-son duo spending time together, but users were far from focused on that. Instead, they ripped the new dad apart for the way he was holding Halo.

In two of the photos, DDG poses in a mirror, holding the infant with one hand. Immediately, commenters expressed concern for Halo’s safety and made their opinions known. “Why bro dangling his baby like that” one user wrote. Another said DDG was, “holding bro like it’s a stack of money.” According to DDG, however, Halo was completely fine, and the way he was holding him was no cause for concern.

He took to Twitter/X yesterday to address the outcry, clarifying that he and his child are okay. “How y’all gon tell me how to hold my baby,” he wondered, adding a laughing emoji. “We chillin.” Obviously, DDG is confident in his parenting abilities, and thinks online critics should mind their own business. Lil Baby’s Son Incensed As He Interrupts His Mother’s Twerking Session

Lil Baby’s career has been a little uneventful music wise since 2022. Sure, he has dropped some singles and feature verses. But, it seems like the trajectory of his career has stagnated in a sense. There has not been much chatter on when he will be dropping a new album as well. The last record we heard from him was two years ago with the fairly mediocre It’s Only Me. His most recent effort came on French Montana’s latest mixtape, Mac & Cheese 5. Their song “Okay” dropped late last year and was one of the handful of singles for Montana’s long-running mixtape series. Assuredly, the Georgia rap star has been taking this time to take care of his two kids. However, things were not all hunky-dory for one Lil Baby’s son’s and his mother, as he cut her twerking session short.

In the video seen below, it seems that it is the older of the two children, judging upon his angry reaction. One of Lil Baby’s baby mother’s is doing some light twerking for some sort of social media video. But, like we said, her son was not having it after the provocative dancing went on for about 13 seconds uninterrupted. At that point her child storms into the dining room and charges toward her.

Out of anger he pushes his caretaker back, saying, “What are y’all doing?” She laughed it off, but it clearly rubbed him the wrong way. Observers of the video agree with the youngster that she is acting too inappropriately. One person writes, “That’s actually so sad, poor kid already knows he has a thot for a mom RIP him at those school lunch tables.” Another adds, “Well raised by the dad.” There is no telling how common of an occurrence this is. But it does raise some questions for sure.

During a recent interview with PEOPLE, Bhad Bhabie addressed these comments, revealing that she doesn’t pay them too much mind. “I even see people saying, ‘Oh, I don’t think she’s ready. I don’t think she’s ready,’” she explained. “It’s like, ‘How can you, from your computer screen, determine if I’m ready to be a mother or not?’ […] I don’t even be on [social media], so how can you determine that?” she wondered. “You know? It’s just kind of off.”

“People who are nurses and doctors and therapists and lawyers,” she added. “Do you think if people went back and looked at them when they were 13 and 14 and judged them off that time that they would have that job and be held so high? They’re kids, they’re teenagers. But mine happened to be broadcasted all over the Internet, all over public television… I wish more people knew my story and really understood the things that made me who I am.
