Fat Joe Calls Ozempic “The Greatest Invention Ever”

In October, Fat Joe credited his weight loss to using the popular prescription drug Ozempic. In a new interview with Big Boy TV, the Bronx rap legend candidly discussed shedding over 100 pounds and why he views Ozempic as a groundbreaking innovation in the battle against obesity. Joe revealed his weight-loss mission began after the tragic death of a close friend due to health complications tied to obesity. This loss propelled him into what he described as “super lose weight mode,” a regimen marked by intense workouts and extreme dietary restrictions. “I wasn’t even eating a cracker,” Joe admitted, jokingly calling it “crackhead mode” to underscore the intensity of his efforts.

While extolling the benefits of Ozempic, Joe also expressed frustration with people who deny using it, pointing out how quickly some individuals lose weight in notoriously stubborn areas. For him, embracing the medication is a no-brainer. “Ozempic is the greatest invention,” he declared, adding that he hopes its creators develop similar drugs to curb cravings for smoking and drinking.

Fat Joe Cites Ozempic Responsible For Weight Loss

One of New York Hip-Hop’s legendary rap stars, Fat Joe, made his debut in 1993 and kept his name at the top of the genre since with many chart-topping hits such as “Lean Back,” “Make It Rain,” and “What’s Luv.” While he no longer carries a large image, he doesn’t plan on changing his name. He explained the significant financial investment tied to his brand over the years. “We’ve spent millions, millions of dollars building the name Fat Joe,” he said. “When I walk out at the World Series, they announce, ‘Rapper Fat Joe.’ If they just said, ‘Rapper Joe,’ no one would know who that is. Even if I slim down more, I’ll always be Fat Joe because that’s the brand we built.”

Joey Crack is set to release his first solo album in 14 years on December 13. The World Changed Me will include new tracks “Paradise” and “I Got You,” featuring Babyface. The album follows Joe’s 2010 album, The Darkside Vol. 1. In October, Joey Crack launched his interview series on Starz, Fat Joe Talks.

Lizzo Laughs Off Antonio Brown’s Latest Jabs About Ozempic

Lizzo has responded to Antonio Brown’s latest jokes about her recent weight loss, in which he accused her of using Ozempic. Following the 2024 election, in which Donald Trump defeated Kamala Harris, Lizzo had posted a video of herself writing a message to her followers. “She hold the pen like she hold her ozempic shot…” Brown wrote on X (formerly Twitter) in response. The following day, Lizzo uploaded a series of pictures of herself on Instagram with the caption: “Holding life like an ozempic pen..”

Fans in the comments section of Lizzo’s post are loving the response. “Even if you were on ozempic, SO WHAT? Even if you got weight loss surgery, SO WHAT? People are weird. Go put that energy where it matters like that debt and student loans, yo mamas bills,” one user wrote. Another added: “Ozempic or not, you look amazing! And i love how you’re laughing at the ‘jokes.’”

Lizzo has been open about her weight-loss journey throughout the year. Speaking with The New York Times back in March, she explained how the progress has been slow but steady. “I’ve been methodical, losing weight very slowly,” she told the outlet. “I don’t really see it because if anyone who’s on a natural weight-loss journey knows, losing weight is actually the slowest thing in the world and you don’t really notice it until you notice it.”

Lizzo Trolls ‘South Park’ And Her Weight Loss Critics By Dressing Up In An Ozempic Costume For Halloween

Lizzo claims to have been “canceled for everything,’ this year. But losing public favor hasn’t stopped the “Special” singer from going all out for Halloween (as usual).

Yesterday (October 27), Lizzo decided to clapped back at critics of her recent weight loss and the writers of South Park. In her vibrant photoshoot to celebrate the ghoulish holiday, Lizzo is seen dressed in an Ozempic costume.

“Ok Halloween… you can start now 😜,” she wrote on Instagram.

To dial things up a notch, Lizzo and her photographer Bonnie Nichoalds decided to generate a mock advertisement for the drug which read: “Need self-love? Try Lizzo! Lose guilt. Gain confidence. Side effects include a smile on your face and a pep in your step.”

Behind Lizzo is a cutout of the show’s menacing character, Eric Cartman, a draw back to her being referenced back in May.

Last month, Lizzo denied user claims that she was using the drug, saying: “When you finally get Ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit.”

In another post shared to Lizzo’s Instagram page, she continued to troll South Park by twerking on a fight dressed in an inflatable Eric Cartman costume.

Well, that’s one way to turn the tables.

Lizzo Reveals Daring Halloween Costume Clapping Back At “South Park” Ozempic Jokes

Lizzo is getting ready to have a good time during Halloween, and she took jokes made at her expense as fuel for a creative costume. Moreover, she recently took to Instagram with various photo dumps of her self-proclaimed “LizzOzempic” costume, which plays off of a recent South Park parody that presented her and her music as an alternative to the weight loss medication. In the episode, the joke is that the “medication” would make users “not give a f**k” about their weight. The Detroit native is very happy to do so, and to continue to advocate for body positivity and confident self-worth.

“That’s crazy!” Lizzo had said while reacting to the South Park skit online. “I just feel like, damn, I’m really that b***h. I’m really that b***h! I really showed the world how to love yourself and not give a f**k to the point where these… men in Colorado know who the f**k I am and put it on their cartoon that’s been around for 25 years. I’m really that b***h and I showed y’all how not to give a f**k and I’ma keep on showing you how not to give a f**k. Oh, oh, oh, oh, Lizzo, b***h!” she sang at the end of her TikTok video.

Lizzo’s “LizzOzempic” Costume

If you’re curious, you can check out more of Lizzo’s posts showing off her “LizzOzempic” costume by clicking the “Via” link down below. This cheeky costume comes as she recently gave a pretty light response to allegations that she’s using Ozempic on her fitness and weight loss journey. In fact, the 36-year-old seems very pleased with them in a certain sense, as they let her know that her hard work is paying off. If exercise prompts those rumors, then she’s happy to keep pumping iron and loving herself with no need for medication.

Elsewhere, another big story around Lizzo these days surrounds the allegations against her about her supposed creation of a hostile work environment. When asked about the matter at Fortune‘s “Most Powerful Women” event, she declined to elaborate on it and instead called to attention the event’s focus on fostering strong female leaders and forces. As for the allegations themselves, a court of law has yet to make heads or tails of the situation in its entirety.

Lizzo Seems Unbothered (Delighted, Even) By Ozempic Allegations As Her Weight-Loss Journey Continues

In August, Lizzo said she’s taking a “gap year.” One thing she seems to be doing during this period is working through her weight-loss journey. Now, she’s seeing a sign that indicates people are noticing how her body is changing.

A September 20 Instagram carousel post from Lizzo includes a video of her striking poses with the on-screen text, “When you finally get ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit.” The video is set to a trending audio, a clip from Django Unchained, of Christoph Waltz’s character Dr. King Schultz taking a gulp of beer before saying, “It’s like a reward.” The implication there is apparently that Lizzo takes that type of feedback as a compliment, as an indication that people are noticing her weight loss.

The post also includes a screenshot of an interaction Lizzo had with an Instagram user. The user commented on one of Lizzo’s posts, “did she use ozempic or did she snort coke.” Lizzo responded, “whyyyy do u follow me? [crying emojis].”

This comes after Lizzo was the subject of an Ozempic-related joke on South Park earlier this year. She said about that at the time, “That’s crazy. I just feel like, ‘Damn. I’m really that b*tch.’ I’m really that b*tch. I really showed the world how to love yourself and not give a f*ck to the point where these men in Colorado know who the f*ck I am. And put it on their cartoon, that’s been around for 25 years. I’m really that b*tch. And I showed y’all how to not give a f*ck and I’m going to keep showing y’all not to give a f*ck.”

Lizzo Breaks Silence On Ozempic Allegations With Light-Hearted Response

Lizzo joked about being glad to finally be facing allegations of using Ozempic, after getting serious about her weight loss routine over the last several months. She acknowledged fans’ concerns about her methodology in a humorous post on Instagram on Friday. “When you finally get Ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit,” she captioned one of the series of pictures in the post. She also shared a screenshot of a user asking whether she’s using “Ozempic or coke.”

Fans in the comments section shared tons of supportive messages. “Who cares how you did it, you look amazing and feel good in your body!” one user wrote with a number of heart emojis. Another wrote back to the haters: “Y’all really poke fun at plus size women and tell them they need to lose weight while calling them pigs, then when they actually do lose weight you tell them that they’ve made no progress and that it’ll never be enough. Make it make sense.”

The latest rumors come after Lizzo shared highlights of herself hitting the gym, earlier in the week. Narrating the clips, she reflected on the criticism she’s faced over her body. “There’s been a lot of comments on my body lately, so this workout video comes with a message,” she said. “I love this fat a** okay. I love my body, and that’s incredible because there were times in my life when I was smaller than I am now, and I hated myself.”

Lizzo Replies To Ozempic Rumors

Outside of her weight loss, Lizzo also recently teased that she’s working on the “BEST music of my life” in another post on social media. Check out the response to the Ozempic rumors on Instagram below. Be on the lookout for further updates on Lizzo on HotNewHipHop.

Cleotrapa Claims Ice Spice Is Using Ozempic Amid Feud With Her Former Friend

Cleotrapa claims that Ice Spice has been using Ozempic to lose weight after the Bronx rapper went off on her in an X (formerly Twitter) Spaces conversation on Monday night. Spice had been responding to claims Cleo made about working with her on the Y2K! World Tour. After Cleo accused Spice’s team of refusing to buy her a chicken salad when she was hungry, the Bronx rapper gave context to the situation and labeled her a “vacuum.”

Cleo fired back in a post on X afterward. “Imagine being called big by someone that was just big,” she wrote. “I’m going to bed bro ozempic got yall gassed & fatphobic now? BET.” In another, she brought up Cardi B: “P*ssy but you was shaking on your bus thinking Cardi sent people to get you jumped. Whole time it was a lady & her kids just tryna get an autograph like helpppppppppppciikwnsnosp who tf told you to start with that lady anyways? NOBODY you picked with her now you scared.”

During Spice’s X Spaces response, she downplayed the entire situation as Cleo “crashing out.” “Crashing out is sad you guys,” she said. “The scary part of fame honestly is the moment that somebody feels like they can no longer use your platform or like they’re not getting exactly what they want out of a situation the way that they want it … That’s when they decide to crash out every single time. I’m noticing a pattern.”

Mase Addresses Ozempic Rumors As Fans React To His Slim Freestyle Look

Mase showed that he’s still got it, dropping a killer new freestyle on his It Is What It Is sports talk show with Cam’ron. However, a lot of fans didn’t even hear his bars because the video made them ask one question: since when was he so skinny? Moreover, a lot of folks questioned this weight loss online, even accusing the rapper of taking Ozempic to slim down. What’s funny, though, is that these skeptics would’ve had an answer if they had just listened to the show. “I signed up with this coach, he just put me on an alkaline diet. I’m only eating fruit, vegetables and water for now,” he remarked on the show, denying the use of any drugs or medication to lose weight.

Elsewhere on It Is What It Is, Mase and Cam’ron also get around to telling some wacky stories. “Me and L start talking and the conversation goes super left, you know,” the former said about an alleged incident in which Big L once set him up for a robbery. “Next thing I know, I’m in The Tunnel [a nightclub] and the n***a Fat Joe comes up to me. A couple months later, we get into it about something. I think it was over a chick or something. I get around the corner on 140th and I walk up 140th on Seventh to 141st and a Spanish n***a just run outta nowhere like, ‘Give it up. I’ma kill both of y’all n***as.’”

Mase Denies Ozempic Rumors

But Mase isn’t the only lyrical threat on It Is What It Is, as Cam’ron has spit some fire on it before. These freestyles even furthered beef with folks like Melyssa Ford and Anthony Edwards. As for Ford, their spat concerns an allegation she made that Killa Cam may have had relations with an underage sex worker. Since then, it’s been gloves off for the two.

Fortunately for Mase, he’s in a much more chill place for the most part. Many of their discussions are purely observational, such as their assessments of Caitlin Clark in the WNBA. If they do have something direct and personal to talk about, such as alleged Ozempic use, they’ll do so with each other. But at least they’ve still got their bars on point in any case.
