Offset has been the subject of a few dating rumors amid his divorce from Cardi B, and it seems like fans are still in sleuth mode. Moreover, onlookers recently spotted him out with model Anok Yai, which sparked a lot of romantic speculation and commentary about his movement as of late. At the end of the day, we won’t know if these dating rumors are true until we get more “proof,” so to speak. Everyone knows that this split was a pretty big deal for both rappers, and that it developed in a pretty nasty way online despite their efforts to coparent and reach a solid place.
Not only that, but this comes as Offset got roped into some more couples drama. Chrisean Rock’s former friend accused her of sleeping with him behind Cardi B’s back. This comes about a year after Rock’s boo Blueface launched similar allegations. “Being tatted on a h*e is not a flex,” he claimed on Twitter about Chrisean covering up her tattoo of his face. “You literally f***ed Cardi B’s husband [a] couple weeks ago, I’m tired of n***as looking at me while they f***ing you, get the rest of ’em gone ASAP, please.”
As for Cardi B, she’s trying to focus up and enjoy life after her divorce from Offset, as she recently revealed that she went on a massive shopping spree after the split. Still, it’s clear that both of them are just looking for other ways to deal with their breakup and move on with their lives. Hopefully the former couple can one day do so without facing so much scrutiny and gossip around their history.
Meanwhile, Offset recently had a feature on Juice WRLD’s final posthumous album, The Party Never Ends, specifically on the track “Celebrate.” We wonder if 2025 will yield any more new music from him, or if it will provide an update on all these dating rumors. We wish the former Migo and Cardi B all the best on their respective journeys, and hope that they can find civil common ground. After all, it’s what’s best for the family and for their sanity.
Juice WRLD’s estate released The Party Never Ends, his third posthumous album, on Friday. The album features contributions from Nicki Minaj, Eminem, and others. One of those “others” is Offset, who appears on the track “Celebrate.” “Celebrate” is produced by Metro Boomin, and was previously unheard until a leak in December 2023. Metro previously had production credits on Fighting Demons, the second posthumous release by his estate. The track is a low-key banger, and feels like something that Juice would have released if he was still alive, though it is still clear that the track was not finished in his lifetime.
The beat is menacing, and both Juice WRLD and Offset deliver strong verse. They give some gun bars, with the two of them threatening to “put some money in the street” (putting a bounty on someone, for the uninitiated). Offset’s verse is twice as long as Juice’s, likely to balance out the fact that the unfinished nature of the song. His verse feels like something he would’ve done for a Migos album, delivering some high-quality street bars. He’s at home over Metro Boomin production, and it’s very clear. Juice WRLD’s estate previously claimed that The Party Never Ends is the last posthumous album from the rapper, who died on December 8, 2019, just six days after his 21st birthday. However, with over a thousand unreleased tracks to his name, it is hard to say if that is truly the case yet. Regardless, give “Celebrate” a listen.
Thinking back to the good old days, nowadays I’m over-stressed When I say good old days, I’m talkin’ bout He-Man, no lil’ ThunderCats, huh Well, I’ve been down, the devil been on the prowl He loves when I frown, make him and his demons smile On me they dog-pile, I done got way too involved now Hate when they play with me, told Jimmy playfully, “I’m finna burn this all down”
Offset got into some trouble in Paris this week after an alleged confrontation with French rapper Gazo’s entourage. Although details remain scarce regarding the altercation, TMZ reports that the rapper’s team approached Offset over a paid music video appearance that didn’t meet their expectations. Fortunately, no major injuries or arrests occurred, but it did put a spotlight on Gazo, for better or worse.
As a frontrunner for France’s drill scene, Gazo’s distinctive style has garnered plenty of praise abroad. However, his gritty sound and rawness continued to propel his fame forward towards commercial success. This alleged incident with Offset brought him into the global spotlight but there’s much more to Gazo than the recent buzz. Here’s a look at his background and accomplishments that made him one of France’s most intriguing artists right now.
Gazo’s Background & Rise In The French Drill Scene
Born Ibrahima Diakité in 1994, Gazo hails from the working-class suburb of Paris, Saint-Denis. After going through a rough childhood that involved homelessness and getting deeper into the streets for survival–an experience that undoubtedly shaped his gritty, uncompromising sound–he eventually began rapping under the name Bramsou. However, he changed his name to Gazo after realizing that there were several other artists across the world with similar names, making it difficult for him to gain esteem because of the similarities.
He revamped his style under the stage name Gazo, shedding the more trap-centric production style and leaning into drill. It became a fruitful endeavor for him as he landed a collaboration on Gims’ album Le Fléau in 2020, setting the stage for a major debut the following year. In 2021, he unveiled his debut project, Drill FR, which transformed him into the face of French drill. By blending UK and US influences, he opened the floodgates for the genre in France, especially at a time when artists like Pop Smoke and Headie One ushered in a new era in New York City and London, respectively.
In a heated incident outside Paris’s Hôtel du Collectionneur, a group reportedly connected to French rapper Gazo confronted Offset and his crew. According to TMZ, Gazo’s team was upset after Offset reportedly failed to meet the requirements for a music video in which they paid the former Migos rapper $150K to appear as part of a collaboration with the French rapper. Gazo’s entourage reportedly demanded that Offset return the money. When Offset refused, tensions quickly escalated.
Video footage shows the encounter turning physical as someone shoves Offset into a vehicle while his security attempts to de-escalate the situation. Amid the chaos, Offset’s team clashed with Gazo’s entourage in a full-blown brawl, with punches and kicks flying. Offset himself even broke free from his security to retaliate, reportedly landing a kick to one of Gazo’s associates.
The fight culminated in a scramble as Gazo’s crew tried to pull Offset back outside, with one woman suffering a fall in the scuffle. Despite the disorder, no arrests were made. The following morning, Gazo shared a photo with Offset, hinting that their upcoming “Wemby” collaboration might signal a truce.
Collaborations & Breakout Hits
Gazo’s began gaining incredible buzz following the release of “Drill FR 4,” the penultimate offering in the five-part “Drill FR” series, where he showcased his lyrical skill alongside Freeze Corleone. His gritty voice and intense lyrics captured the intensity of the streets of France, drawing attention from fans across the country. With singles like “Haine & Sexe” and “Inhumain,” Gazo pushed the boundaries of French rap, turning heads not just at home but internationally as well. The former eventually went Diamond in France.
The release of his debut album Drill FR in 2021 solidified his standing as a major player in the genre. The album featured collaborations with big names in French rap, including Freeze Corleone and Hamza, and was praised for its cohesion and unique sound. Drill FR quickly climbed the charts and became a cultural phenomenon, reaching a wide audience and propelling Gazo’s career to new heights.
Accolades & Growing International Attention
As Gazo’s music gained popularity, so did his reputation as one of the most influential rappers in French drill. His style—marked by raw, unfiltered storytelling—won him several award nominations, including the prestigious Victoires de la Musique. He also won Male Artist of the Year at the 2024 Le Flammes Awards. Evidently, this recognition extends beyond France. Not only due to his upcoming collaboration with Offset but also working alongside pillars of the UK scene, including Russ Millions and Headie One.
Gazo’s Influence On French Rap
While Gazo’s recent run-in with Offset may have grabbed headlines, his impact on French rap is far more profound and his influence is clearly seeping through the next generation of MCs coming out of France. Gazo’s relentless dedication to the drill genre has brought French rap a new level of international recognition, with fans and critics alike acknowledging him as a trailblazer. As Gazo’s career continues to grow, his influence on French drill—and the global hip-hop scene—is undeniable.
Yesterday (November 4), Cardi B used her tense split and pending divorce from fellow musician Offset to joke about the state of today’s romantic field. According to Cardi B, there is a contamination warning in effect for all seeking love.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Cardi B backed one user’s disgust with the options in play, writing: “I’m telling you…the dating pool got piss in it .”
Based on Cardi’s declaration fans believe this could be a good sign of reconciliation between her and Offset, whom she shares three children (daughter Kulture, son Wave, and a recently born daughter). However, that seems unlikely.
Last month, in a series of now-deleted posts, Cardi B slammed her estranged husband. “Bro, I wish the worst on this man,” she wrote. “I never hated somebody so much and these b*tches be so thirsty to have him please take this man off my hands this garbage bag is too heavy!”
When a users chimed in to claim this passionate outburst indicated that she “still loved him,” Cardi B quickly dispelled that insinuation, writing: “No, I don’t I want him to get his by an f*cking truck. He really is just a dark cloud on anybody life he enters.”
Maybe in the future, the romantic waters will clear up creating a path for both to found a new love.
Offset and Cardi B’s daughter was the victim of a gruesome photoshop scandal on November 4. Social media users began sharing doctored images of the child having sex with Offset, which led Cardi B to go on a fiery rant. Understandably so. The rapper called fans out for their bizarre obsession and felt they had taken things too far. “That sh*t be pissing me the f*ck off,” she explained. “All because y’all in y’all feelings because I f*cking tweeted my kids are smart.” Hours later, Offset decided to say his peace.
The Migos rapper did not rant for as long as Cardi B, but he was similarly horrified. Offset made it clear that the people responsible for the photoshopped images were no fans of his. “You ppl are disgusting on here with my kids,” he tweeted. “Inappropriate post wtf do you get from doing that God gone get you!!!” Some fans took to the replies to put the blame on Cardi B for talking about other people’s children. A quick scroll underneath Offset’s original tweet shows various screenshots in which the “WAP” rapper said “f*ck your kids” to an IG user during a heated exchange.
Insulting statements are not the same as photoshopped images, admittedly. Cardi B and Offset’s outrage over the images has also yielded sympathy from followers and parents. Offset has been vocal about how much his daughters mean to him, in particular. The Migos rapper told Good Morning America that he’s easier on his daughters than his sons. “For my girls, I’m a softy,” he noted. “For boys, I’m a disciplinarian, ’cause I know, like, boy, it’s gonna be tough for you, no matter if you got money.” Offset also featured his daughters on the cover to his 2019 album, Father of 4.
Offset and Cardi B have had some extraordinary differences over the last few months. The couple always had a rocky relationship, but the dirty laundry has been aired with surprising frequency in 2024. The duo went at each other via Instagram, and made grim accusations towards one another. They have, however, presented a unified front when it comes to their kids. When Child Protective Services was called on Cardi B in October, the rapper assured the fans that Offset was not to blame. “He a loser but he didn’t do that,” she said.
Metro Boomin has been sued for battery and sexual battery in Los Angeles court by a woman who says he raped her in 2016. According to Billboard, Vanessa LeMaistre, the plaintiff, says that she visited Metro’s studio in September, where she took a shot of alcohol and a Xanax pill and blacked out; after which, the producer allegedly took advantage of her. After the incident, she says learned she was pregnant, getting an abortion in November that year.
She also claims that the incident was referenced on Metro’s 2017 collaborative album Without Warning with 21 Savage and Offset on the song “Rap Saved Me.” On the chorus of the track, the two rappers recite the lines: “She took a Xanny, then she fainted / I’m from the gutter, ain’t no changing / From the gutter, rap saved me / She drive me crazy, have my baby.” Although Metro does not rap on the song and the authorship of those lines is unclear, LeMaistre says that hearing the raps “caused further trauma.”
Metro denied the accusations through his attorney, Lawrence Hinkle II, who told Billboard, “These are false accusations. Mr. Wayne refused to pay her months ago, and he refuses to pay her now. Mr. Wayne will defend himself in court. He will file a claim for malicious prosecution once he prevails.”
There is no secret that Cardi B and Offset have had their share of public blow ups, but a recently deleted assortment of tweets from Cardi B suggests that there’s a lot more tension between the two rappers than just an estranged couple who just can’t seem to agree on anything.
After Cardi’s recent run-in with Child Protective Services, in which an alleged prank caller called the agency to file a complaint against the rapper and how she cares for her three children. This prompted the agency to make a 11pm visit to the “Bodak Yellow” star’s residence and rightfully Cardi blew up on the unknown perpetrators on social media.
“So I wanna make this very f—ing clear, and I can’t even breathe right now,” she said in the video, captured by fans and shared on social media. “Motherf—ers have taken s— too f—ing far when you mess with my f—ing kids.”
Just a day later, Cardi put her estranged husband Offset in the crosshairs of one her social media rants and this time, it doesn’t seem like there’s any intent on coming back from it. Cardi wanted to make it clear that she has nothing positive to say about the Migos member and even hinted towards wishing him death.
“Bro I wish the worst on this man,” she asserted. “I never hated somebody soooo much and these b*tches be so [thirsty] to have him.”
However, even in the heat of her insults and obvious hate, Cardi assured other X users that Offset was not the one who called CPS on her and that she was emphatically sure that he was in no way involved. Nevertheless, this did not keep Cardi from wishing the worst on the father of her three children.
Cardi B and Offset have broken up and gotten back together multiple times, but as things stand now, the two are done. In fact, Cardi is pretty upset with the father of her children, as she revealed in a fiery series of tweets on X (formerly Twitter).
In a now-deleted tweet (preserved by Hollywood Unlocked), Cardi started, “Bro I wish the worst on this man…I never hated somebody so much and these b*tches be so thirsty to have him please take this man off my hands this garbage bag is to heav !!”
Another user wrote, “He’s the father of your children. Stop.” Cardi responded, “Yea he is that’s why I don’t wish him death ..but I truly hate this firty ass narcissistic piece of sh*t…. And his family and his friends never check him that’s why he always going to be a piece of sh*t of a Person.”
In response to another user who wrote, “Yep, you still love him,” Cardi replied, “No I don’t I wan him to get his by a f*ckin truck …He really is just a dark cloud on anybody life he enters.”
Other users alleged it was Offset who called Child Protective Services recently, but Cardi had Offset’s back there, replying, “That’s not wat happened that got nothing do wit him,” adding in another tweet, “He a loser but he didn’t do that…It was a prank call he had to fly out and I couldn’t be there cause I’m hospitalized.”
Cardi B and Offset don’t get along. It’s a fact at this point. The two rappers may have children together, but there is nothing civil about their interactions in 2024. They set the internet on fire a few weeks ago, when they decided to air their dirty laundry on Instagram Live. Fans everywhere thought they had seen the worst of the Cardi B and Offset saga. Cardi decided to prove us all wrong on October 22. Seemingly out of nowhere, the “WAP” rapper went on a multi-tweet rant in which she said made absolutely brutal comments about her ex.
Cardi B came in hot, claiming that she genuinely hates Offset after everything they’ve been through. “Bro I wish the worst on this man,” she asserted. “I never hated somebody soooo much and these b*tches be so [thirsty] to have him.” Cardi then referred to the father of her children as “garbage,” and asked women to take him off of her hands. “Please take this man off my hands this garbage bag is to heavy,” she wrote. Cardi B had plenty more to say, though. “Fans tweeted at her to speak more positively about Offset, but it did not take. “I truly hate this dirty a*s narcissistic piece of sh*t,” she added. “And his family and his friends never check him.” Then, the rapper dropped a bomb.
Another user suggested that Cardi B still has love for Offset. She did not like this. The rapper proceeded to state, unequivocally, that she wanted her former partner to die. “I wan him to get hit by a f*ckin truck,” she announced. “He really is just a dark cloud on anybody life he enters.” The most unexpected part of Cardi’s Twitter meltdown, however, came when she defended Offset. Fans began to theorize that Offset was the person who called Child Protective Services on the rapper a day prior.
Cardi B, however, shut down the theory. She threw in an additional insult, but made it clear that he would never do something like that to her. “That’s not wat happened that got nothing do wit him,” she asserted. “He a loser but he didn’t do that…It was a prank call he had to fly out and I couldn’t be there cause I’m hospitalized.” Cardi B deleted the tweets shortly after concluding her rant. The venom with which she spoke about Offset will not be forgotten by fans, however. The same is likely true for Offset.
Cardi B and Offset set the world on fire last week as the fallout from their marriage continued to take over timelines. What emerged was a rumor that Cardi B was having an affair with Stefon Diggs of the Houston Texans.
Cardi stated on Instagram, “All these rumors are so f*cking cr*zy. That’s why I don’t want to address it because I feel like it’s funny. I’mma just let it ride out, cuz I think it’s cute, it’s funny.”
Previously, Cardi B appeared to have responded to recent allegations made by Akademiks, who claimed she cheated on Offset with an unnamed NFL player.
Here’s what sparked it … The popular streamer who’s known for making claims in his style of journalism, was speaking on his Rumble channel, where he suggested that the player in question was a wide receiver, implying he had caught a touchdown. Slick wordplay. We see what he’s trying to do. Akademiks also alleged, there’s that word again, that Offset caught Cardi B with the athlete.
Get this, in what seemed like a direct response to these claims, Cardi posted a clip on X (formerly Twitter) featuring Whitney Houston’s famous interview with Diane Sawyer, where Houston says, “But do you know? Do you really know?”
This heated back and forth between Cardi B and Offset, kind of began albeit publicly, when Offset accused her of cheating while pregnant with their third child. The argument escalated when Offset joined Cardi’s Instagram Live and commented, “U fucked with a baby inside tell the truth!!” Cardi B didn’t deny the accusation and responded, “You know what I find so crazy? That a n-gga thinks that they can just buy a bh. I love me shit, but you can’t buy me no more, muthafa. It’s so crazy that a n-gga thinks that that’s enough. It’s not enough, honey.”
She further explained adding, “I find it funny that n-ggas think that they can fuck on anything, but when I start talking to n-ggas, you want to threaten me with taking shit that I f***ing worked my ass off for. You want to play those games with me? We gon’ play them games too. You want to take my shit because I’m moving on? Move on. Why can’t you move on?”
What’s more, Cardi B seemingly confirmed the cheating allegations by writing on X, “AND DID!!!!!!” She admitted to talking to other men while she was pregnant, starting on June 24, before giving birth in early September. Offset responded with a harsh comment, “The thing is that u just get f***ed 3 kids a lil too late.”
ICYMI, the couple’s relationship has been rocked by several cheating allegations in the past. However, reports suggest that these issues weren’t the primary reason behind Cardi B filing for divorce in early August.
