JT Teases Nicki Minaj With Raunchy Twitter Response

There was speculation about whether Nicki Minaj would be able to deliver everything she’s been promising on her Pink Friday 2 Tour. So far, however, the mother of one has left audiences more than impressed, and all the videos circulating online prove that she does have her Barbz gagged with her latest work. Amid performances, Minaj has still found time to be active on social media, recently posting with her husband, Kenneth Petty on Instagram Live. Elsewhere, she sent out a tweet with some lyrics from her new album for fans to finish, but JT of City Girls couldn’t resist the opportunity to make a joke.

“Ain’t never had a,” the Trinidadian wrote on Twitter/X, referencing the 116, Apollo Parker, Fierce, and Boi-1da-produced “Pink Birthday.” The song is in the eighth slot on Minaj’s PF2 tracklist, and the bars she was referencing go, “Ain’t never had a ill b**ch ’til now / Post a pic, got him jackin’ like Jill now / Break the internet at will now” before launching into the infectious chorus.

For her part, JT took the opportunity to let her Twitter followers know that she’s never had an STD, or sexually transmitted disease. “Failed Nicki trivia!!! Cut her mic off ,” one Barb joked beneath today’s post. “Well, that is something to be proud of ngl,” another person praised the femcee.

If Nicki Minaj has seen JT’s unexpected response to her tweet, she’s made no public indication at this time. Rather, the Queen of Rap has been busy responding to comedian Katt Williams, who cracked a joke about joining her on her Gag City Tour. Monica To Join Nicki Minaj As Special Guest On Pink Friday 2 Tour

Multi-platinum 25-million-plus selling Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, philanthropist, entrepreneur, and actress Monica will be joining Nicki Minaj on her Pink Friday 2 North American Headline tour as her Special Guest. Monica shared the news earlier this month when she stopped by The Jennifer Hudson show in Los Angeles.

The North American run kicks off in Oakland, CA on March 1st and runs through May 13th hitting major cities across the US and Canada including March 20th and 21st in Monica’s hometown of Atlanta, GA at the State Farm Arena, the newly added Nashville show on March 24th at Bridgestone Arena, two nights – April 24th and 25th – in Chicago at the United Center and the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, LA on March 18th. On March 1, Nicki Minaj kicked off her Pink Friday 2 World Tour. Although the intense performance run features special guest Monica, the opening slot remains unfilled. Back in February, the “Beep Beep” rapper began to gauge her fan base to see who they felt would be a good fit.

Through a live stream, Minaj finally landed on “the busiest man in show business,” Katt Williams. During the broadcast, she urged her fans to relay her invitation. “Can y’all hit up Katt Williams,” she said. “Ask him what would be his price to be a part of the ‘Pink Friday 2 Gag City Tour?””

Well, Williams has finally responded to Minaj. On March 3, as part of his Dark Matter Tour stop in Charlotte, North Carolina, he made a hilarious joke about the potential business venture. “Nicki Minaj said she wanted me on her tour, and she told so many people a million people hit my phone at the same time,” he said. It scared me and Jesus. He shut all of AT&T down!”

Although Williams’ reply wasn’t exactly a proper yes or no, it was enough to hype ticketholders up online. There are still several dozen dates left on the Pink Friday 2 World Tour, but perhaps Williams would be down to join after he wraps up his contractual duties.

How Long Is Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday 2 World Tour’ Concert?

Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 Tour is officially underway after months of buildup and some speculation that it might not even happen. Although she didn’t manage to secure Katt Williams as a tour opener, she did treat fans to a set highlighting both her new album and catalog classics like “Anaconda,” “Moment 4 Life,” “Monster,” “Starships” and “Super Bass.”

With such a loaded setlist, you may be wondering how much time to allot to take in the whole show. According to setlist.fm, the concert lasts from about two hours and 20 minutes, as the opening show in Oakland ran from 9:45 pm – 12:00 am, while the Denver stop went from Show: 9:30 pm – 11:50 pm.

Nicki Minaj came out swinging to kick off her highly anticipated Pink Friday 2 World Tour.

Unfortunately, so did a few of her devoted super fans, the Barbs. As the “Beep Beep” rapper took to the Oakland Arena stage on March 1, clips of her opening performance quickly flooded social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter). But there was one video that stole all the spotlight, and it didn’t involve Minaj at all. A now-viral visual shared on the platform showed several concertgoers involved in a vicious brawl.

In the clip, two attendees are seen punching another ticketholder. The blows exchange as security watches from afar before eventually intervening to separate the parties. With tensions still high, the last frame of the video shows the individuals yelling while being held back before it ends.

It is unclear what initiated the incident as none of the individuals have been publicly identified. Minaj also hasn’t addressed the viral video. However, she did take a moment to pen a touching note to her fans for their continued support days later. “Dear Barbz, I love you,” she wrote. “I really do. Always have. Always will.”

One of the biggest tours of 2024 just got underway. Nicki Minaj has only played two shows in her Pink Friday 2 tour but it’s already making nightly news. But she obviously isn’t the only one on tour right now. Comedian Katt Williams is also making his way around the country on The Dark Matter Tour. A few weeks ago during an Instagram live, Nicki invited Williams to join her on the Pink Friday 2 Tour as an opening act. During a recent stand-up set, Williams finally responded to the invite.

While performing in Charlotte, Katt Williams brought up Nicki’s offer, though he didn’t linger on it for long. “Nicki Minaj said she wanted me on her tour and she told so many people a million people hit my phone at the same time. It scared me and Jesus. He shut all of AT&T down so my phone could cool off on the charger,” he remarked. While the joke didn’t necessarily directly address his feelings on the invitation, it’s yet another example of the amount of interest Nicki can create among her fans with just a few words. The 24-year-old remarked that “Princess Diana” was her favorite hit of 2023, but that she was disappointed that it didn’t chart -– until Roman stepped in.

“’Princess Diana’ with Nicki [was my favorite hit of the year],” Ice Spice remarked to the publication. “Because I felt like ‘Princess Diana’ was already my best song on [Like…?]. But then it didn’t chart or anything until Nicki got on it. I was just so happy to have both of those worlds where I felt like it was culturally a great song, but also it charted. Joe Budden is no stranger to controversy. In fact, the musician-turned-media figure’s takes on trending topics on his namesake podcast often land him in hot water. In fact, his past opinions of women rap stars Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, and Megan Thee Stallion had fans pulling out their pitchforks. Well, Budden’s recent hot take will have them on the attack yet again.

Yesterday (March 2), in a teaser clip for a forthcoming episode, Budden boldly claimed rap fans shouldn’t get excited about the push for women acts. “Y’all ain’t gonna want to hear it from me, but the girl rapper wave is over,” he said. “Just telling you what it is. I’m normally a few months ahead with this stuff, sometimes a few years ahead with this stuff. The girl rapper wave is finito.”

Budden went on to share the reasonings behind his claim. “I think labels are looking at it like, ‘Very few of y’all are selling records, it’s too much work to get your coin back, we got to go do brand deals all over the world with y’all, y’all are expensive, some of y’all are annoying,’ and none of these records are working,” he said.

But all hope isn’t lost, according to him, as there are a select few recording artists that he expects to have longevity. “The cream rises to the top,” he said. “So, Latto shall remain; Flo Milli shall remain; Rapsody will always be there, but she wasn’t really a part of [that scene]. But all of that, ‘Go find a girl, send her to Columbia, get it done, put her in the studio with fucking Mike WiLL [Made-It] or any one of them n****s’ … all that planting the girl in the scene, getting the record and it taking off — that wave is over.”

Wherever you fall on that debate, you might think that the conversation is over already in either’s favor, but you can’t deny that it could all change quickly in the public eye. However, the recent drops of Pink Friday 2 a few months ago and the brand new “Like What” freestyle (and “Bongos” with Megan Thee Stallion a couple of months before the Barbz’s 2023 fav) have respectively reopened a conversation around how they tend to drop around the same time. Moreover, The Joe Budden Podcast recently weighed in on this, and its titular host thinks that this has been a long-running phenomenon.

“Whenever Cardi was trying to drop, Nicki was trying to drop,” Joe Budden told his co-hosts. “And that’s why Nicki kept changing dates. Don’t quote me on nothing [sorry, Joe]. But Nicki changed that date, like, five times trying to match up with whenever Cardi was dropping. And that was supposed to be the big… I mean, just as consumers looking at it, that was supposed to be the 50 [and] Kanye. And that, I feel like, would have helped Cardi. Nicki, I think, was gonna sell whatever she was gonna sell regardless. But Cardi, I think, would’ve gotten a big boost and just catapult from that marketing.
