During a recent appearance on Bethenny Frankel’s podcast, Just B, she opened up about her high-profile relationship with Ye. She says the partnership cemented her image as “this sexpot type of girl.” Unfortunately, it doesn’t necessarily align with the “conservative” person she is deep down.

“That was my first relationship with a celebrity ever but also in the public eye,” she described. “And he knows a lot about fashion and he always wanted me to dress very sexy… I would have producers saying, ‘We want to do this video for MTV and we want you at the pool, with a bikini on, martini in your hand.’ And I’m like, ‘Ugh, I’m so not her. Like I’m so not her and I get what I come off as but I am so not her.’ And they’re like, ‘Well I guess you don’t want to do it then.’”

Last month, Beyonce surprise announced her new country music era with a Super Bowl commercial. In the wake of the announcement hoards of fans took to social media to show their love for the move and their anticipation for the upcoming album. One person who wasn’t happy with the move was Azealia Banks. She took to Instagram to express her issues with how the move appears. “Them critics are not just going to accept an ugly blond wig and , bullying from jay-z !!! It’s giving big time musical grift. Yes black girls can make country music … but you’re just really not hitting the button.” she said.

Now that the album is finally out, Banks is once again sharing her thoughts. She asked on social media if she was about to eat her words before giving the album a first listen, but quickly followed it up saying “absolutely not.” “Themes r redundant. The lyrics are really forced. Album is too long… Plus who is this imaginary adversary sis thinks still wants to hump on j in 2024” her response begins. She doesn’t entirely hate the record and even picks out some elements of it she likes. But she concludes her judgement by revealing that she dozed off while listening to the album. Travis Scott Requests Dismissal From Astroworld Festival Lawsuit

Travis Scott is looking to avoid a major legal burden. Back in 2021 his Astroworld Festival in Houston became the site of a now notorious festival tragedy. As the crowd rushed the stage during Scott’s performance, tons of people were dangerously compressed with fatal results. A total of 10 people died as a result of the performance getting wildly out of hand. Subsequently, after an investigation into the incident a grand jury declined to indict Scott or anyone else with criminal charges spawning from the tragedy.

But that doesn’t mean anyone is legally off the hook. Hundreds of lawsuits were filed in the months following the festival almost all of which name Scott as a defendant. Now in a newly filed motion he’s attempting to separate himself from the proceedings. “Like any other adrenaline-inducing diversion, music festivals must balance exhilaration with safety and security—but that balance is not the job of performing artists, even those involved in promoting and marketing performances. Which only makes sense: Performing artists, even those who engage in certain promotional activities, have no inherent expertise or specialized knowledge in concert safety measures, venue security protocols, or site-design,” the motion his lawyers filed reads.

Travis Scott Seeking Release From Astroworld Festival Lawsuits

This request for removal comes just a few days after some concerning news about the tragedy leaked via court docs. They showed that one of the heads of security at the festival expressed concerns about overcrowding ahead of the tragedy. In Scott’s dismissal request they specifically mention adjustments being made beforehand in an attempt to alleviate concerns, though they obviously didn’t do enough.

Last week, Scott contributed to what it likely to be one of the biggest rap records of the year. Young Thug Trial: Witness In Tears As She’s Forced To Testify Despite Suicidal Thoughts

Yesterday (March 28) marked the 49th day of Young Thug’s highly publicized RICO trial, and tension only continues to build. The legal battle is on track to break the record for being the longest trial in Georgia state history. It could continue for much longer too, as according to some legal experts, it’s likely to go on until at least 2027.

During the trial this week, one reluctant witness took the stand to recall being allegedly robbed by Young Thug and another man who she believed was his brother in 2013. She didn’t report the alleged robbery right away, but after hearing gunshots outside of her home hours later, called the police. The investigation was ultimately dropped after authorities could no longer get a hold of her. She denies ever reporting the alleged crime.

Witness Denies Accusing Young Thug Of Robbery

The witness has made it clear that she didn’t want any part in the trial, previously refusing to appear to testify. Recently, however, she was arrested and forced to, despite her deteriorating mental health. Reportedly, she told Fulton County Deputy DA Adriane Love that she had considered taking her own life. When asked why, she allegedly said, “because y’all [the state] are doing this.” Young Thug’s team objected to her giving a testimony, claiming that they weren’t made aware of this ahead of time.

The judge disagreed, however, and let her take the stand anyway. She got emotional when asked about her deceased mother. “I already told Ms. Love about my mother, that was a tragic situation,” she said, prompting Love to apologize. “You don’t gotta apologize Ms. Love, I know you did it on purpose,” the witness clapped back.
