Former President Donald Trump’s appearance at the NABJ Conference in Chicago did not go well. The appearance, plagued by controversy over its being allowed to happen, went off the rails immediately. One of the moments that will echo in the forthcoming days was Trump questioning Vice President Kamala Harris’s racial identity.

When addressing the statements of Republican leaders calling VP Harris a DEI hire, Trump stated he “didn’t know she was Black.”

“She was always of Indian heritage, and she was only promoting Indian heritage. I didn’t know she was Black until a number of years ago, when she happened to turn Black, and now she wants to be known as Black. So I don’t know, is she Indian or is she Black?” Trump said.

“I respect either one, but she obviously doesn’t, because she was Indian all the way, and then all of a sudden she made a turn and she went and became a Black person,” he added. “I think somebody should look into that, too.”

50 Cent Shares Interesting Perspective On Drake & Kendrick Lamar’s Feud

50 Cent has weighed in on the viral feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, telling The Hollywood Reporter that he doesn’t view the situation as a loss for the Toronto rapper. Instead, he discussed how it shows the level of success Drake has reached over the years.

“This is hip-hop. I think it’s competitive to a degree, obviously,” he began. “Even Drake, his position and the attitude and his choices, those are 50 Cent choices. ‘F–k it, everybody got to get it then.’ When it becomes Drake versus Kendrick, it’s because it’s the only thing you can put up against Drake’s success.”

From there, he elaborated that the entire situation reveals a broader perspective on the culture. “Look, our culture loves to see you go up because it’s confirmation that they can go up,” he added. “But when you stay up — ‘I want this s–t forever, man’ — they go, ‘Well, goddamn. When you going to come down? If you don’t come down, I ain’t going to have my chance to go up.’ And then it’s these clouds that come over you, and that cloud is doubt, a shadow of doubt that doesn’t come from material or your work ethic.”

He continued: “It’s doubt from the artist community, where they say, ‘I don’t know, his new s–t is cool, but it’s not his first s–t.’ They do that to you and Drake’s just experiencing what you experience as a backlash from success, from the consistency he’s delivered over and over. I don’t see a loss for Drake. The people who bought Drake material are going to buy Drake material when his next song comes out.” While 50 is still confident in Drake, fans mostly agreed that Lamar won the battle after dropping his hit record,  “Not Like Us,” back in May. Ryan Garcia’s Ex Wife Granted Restraining Order Following Alleged Death Threats

The relationship between controversial boxer, Ryan Garcia, and his ex-wife, Andrea Velarde, continues to become more and more complex. According to a new report from TMZ Sports, a restraining order has been successfully admitted to her. This news comes a week after Andrea went to court to request one after the troubled star sent some life-threatening text messages. In the legal documents, she recounts a chilling night out a restaurant on July 19 with one of her siblings, her brother, Chris. Andrea then claims that Garcia showed up, caused a scene, then threatened both of them. They would go on to leave the establishment and her ex-husband would go on to follow her back home.

Andrea even says that Garcia stayed in his car for about 10 minutes in her driveway. However, it continues to get more disturbing from there. The documents also state that just two days later on July 21, Garcia was sending Andrea death threats, saying that he was going to put a hit out on Chris, her dad, and even his own sister, Demi. Some of the messages sound like they were plucked directly from a serial killer in horror movie. “I want to murder your brother… I can’t wait”, Garcia says. “Ima kill your bro slowly… Kill Demi too… Let’s do it… It will be fun lol”. Andrea replied in presumed horror to the latter, “You said your’e gonna kill Demi that’s so sad”.

Ryan Garcia’s Ex Has A Big Decision To Make

In terms of what the restraining order details are, Ryan cannot get within 100 yards of Andrea, their 2 kids, her brother, or her parents. Furthermore, he will have to move out of their home permanently remove any explicit photos or videos he may have of Andrea. However, what is perhaps even more concerning is that she is seemingly considering dropping the TRO. TMZ Sports says “they’ve talked and are committed to peacefully fixing their issues”. However, if she decides to keep it intact, Garcia’s hearing will be sometime next month.

50 Cent recently discussed his long-standing issues with Diddy for a new cover story with The Hollywood Reporter. In doing so, he revealed the moment he was no longer comfortable being around him. When the outlet asked about the intense trolling of the Bad Boy mogul he’s been doing as well as why he avoids so-called Diddy parties, 50 recalled one strange encounter between the two.

“He asked to take me shopping,” 50 remarked. “I thought that was the weirdest sh*t in the world because that might be something that a man says to a woman. And I’m just like, ‘Naw, I’m not f*cking with this weird energy or weird sh*t,’ coming off the way he was just moving. From that, I wasn’t comfortable around him.”

Earlier this week, Offset was spotted alongside his ex Pretty Redz at a casino, prompting rumors that he cheated on Cardi B. The two rappers broke up for a brief period at the end of last year, but since appear to have rekindled their romance. Offset took to Instagram Live recently to shut down any and all speculation, though it did little to quell social media users’ suspicions.

Rumors that the “Bodak Yellow” performer has a little one on the way have been floating around for a while, and this certainly didn’t help. They since appear to have shut the speculation down, as Suki unveiled her new boyfriend last month. Kanye West Fans Are Highly Pessimistic Following The “VULTURES 2” Release Date Reveal

When Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign first announced the official release dates for the VULTURES trilogy, the hype was immediate and feverish. When VULTURES 1 hit streaming on February 10, a day after its initial date, fans were hopeful that this tandem would follow through on the schedule. If you remember, installment number two was supposed to drop on March 8, with volume three expected for April 5. Fast forward to July 31 and we still are sitting at just one third of the projects available. However, we all should have seen this coming as Ye’s track record of pushing back albums is nothing new. Its why fans are skeptical once more after Kanye West revealed the third release date for VULTURES 2 moments ago.

Apparently, the hip-hop community can expect it to be out this Friday, August 2. According to multiple reports, yeezy.com was and still is almost completely blank and the only page available on the site read, “ALL ORDERS FULFILLED VULTURES 2 COMING AUGUST 2ND”. Currently, though, that date is now gone. Instead, a timer shows the date and the time down to the millisecond with the “ALL ORDERS FULFILLED” phrase still remaining.

Kanye Fans Aren’t Believing Him Until They See “VULTURES 2” Online

Some have felt that the hype has died out quite a bit in the subsequent months.
