Travis Scott Promises That “Days Before Rodeo” Is Coming To Streaming Services Soon

Travis Scott is having a great time at Michael Rubin’s Fanatics Fest this weekend, and he had a very special announcement for fans. He revealed that his fan-favorite mixtape Days Before Rodeo will hit streaming services soon. This is particularly exciting because the project’s ten-year anniversary is this Sunday (August 18), so it would line up perfectly. It also adds to all the exciting fun that La Flame has had over the past few days, including a foot race with IShowSpeed.

Furthermore, this re-release would surely put a lot of newer Travis Scott fans onto his old material… That is, if they weren’t bumping “Drugs You Should Try It” and “Skyfall” already. A lot of these newer fans probably saw him join Future and Metro Boomin for a surprise performance during the duo’s Brooklyn tour stop. It seems like the “Cinderella” collaborators had a blast onstage, and the fans in attendance certainly reciprocated that energy in the pit and in the stands. If Days Before Rodeo does come out on streaming services, it would be great to see if more cuts from it make his setlists.

Travis Scott’s Days Before Rodeo Could Hit DSPs Soon

But other Travis Scott fans are more concerned with how the music industry receives his newer music today, and you probably know who and what we’re talking about. Cactus Jack Stans expressed outrage at the Grammys giving Killer Mike the Best Rap Album award this year over Travis, a conversation that continues to this day. Nowadays, it has more to do with commercial performance, as Scott’s fanbase clowned Mike’s recent sales for his new project. It’s a tiresome convo, but we can all agree that both MCs deserve this love and much more.

Meanwhile, Travis Scott probably feels quite grateful and lucky these days, especially after recent concerning events. Following his Paris arrest, authorities released him and didn’t charge him with anything, which was likely a relief for him and for fans. With Days Before Rodeo seemingly on the horizon and South American tour dates coming up, there will be a lot more to enjoy from the Houston creative in 2024. Let’s just hope that this isn’t an unfulfilled promise.

TI Shouts Out Young Thug On His Birthday Amid Possible Dismissal Of YSL RICO Case

T.I. is one of many hip-hop figures advocating for Young Thug’s release amid the chaotic and controversial YSL RICO case. Recently, the Atlanta trap legend sent one of his torch-bearers some birthday well-wishes for Thugger’s 33rd trip around the Sun via his Instagram page. Not only that, but Tip’s comments predicting that the case might be over soon could actually turn out to be prophetic. Fani Willis’ Republican opponent for the Fulton County District Attorney race this year promised to dismiss the case if elected. While this is just a hypothetical situation, it did raise a lot of questions around whether or not this case will conclude with a verdict or with mistrials.

“Happy Birthday 2 my brother 4L King Spyda / Super Slizzy / Mr. Cleveland Ave / Thugga Thugga / The Iconic Prolific Legend himself Lil Jeff,” T.I. expressed to Young Thug. “Keep standing solid & Stay strong homie. Every storm will run out of rain & I can see a major comeback happening‼ Can’t wait for u 2 touch back down so you can go put that ugggla** s**t on and I can send yo musty a** back to da dressing room wit that cheap ass bulls**t u be wearing…. [crying-laughing emoji] Tuh. Ain’t no question or no guessing in it jack!!! YKWTFGO wit US U DIGGG. #FamilyTies. @thuggerthugger1.”

T.I.’s Birthday Message To Young Thug

Furthermore, T.I.’s message comes amid a lot of other birthday messages and initiatives for Young Thug, including an adorable video starring his kids to promote the SP5DER brand. Also, plenty of recent updates in the YSL RICO case threw viewers for a loop. Amid Lil Woody’s wild testimonies and various judge changes, there’s a lot to wade through and many elements to consider. Hopefully this all starts clearing up soon and we can see some more consistent, fair, and effective trial progress.

Meanwhile, one of Young Thug’s closest associates, Gunna, also wished him a happy birthday recently. This interested many fans because it added onto a lot of speculation around whether or not Wunna snitched on YSL and what their relationship looks like now. Although all signs point to the conclusion that they’re still cool, some fans still want a stronger conclusion. We’ll see if the near future holds anything important in that regard.

Nicki Minaj Reaches Settlement With YouTuber Who Accused Her Of Cocaine Use

Back in 2022, Nicki Minaj filed a lawsuit against YouTuber Marley Green, otherwise known as Nosey Heaux. The suit in question was over a video of Green making various false claims about the “FTCU” performer, including that she uses cocaine. She labeled Nicki a “cokehead” and alleged that she was “shoving all this cocaine up her nose.”

Now, the rapper has come out victorious, as they’ve finally reached a settlement. As part of the settlement, Green has agreed not to publicly discuss Nicki, her husband Kenneth Petty, or her son Papa Bear in the future. She also had to acknowledge that “everything she said about Nicki Minaj using or abusing cocaine was false.”

She also must admit publicly that “she never had any evidence of Nicki Minaj using or abusing cocaine or any other drug.” If Green ends up breaching the agreement, she must pay Nicki $50K for each offense, according to TMZ. While Green is no longer allowed to accuse Nicki of using drugs, she’s far from the first person to do so. Earlier this year, countless social media users accused her of going on a “coke rant” about Megan Thee Stallion following the release of her track, “Hiss.”

At the time, Nicki denied the allegations, insisting she’s never used the substance. “Whenever you see the words ‘coke rant’ you know they mad,” she wrote on X. “If y’all hear how loud I’m laughing. [laughing emojis]. I’ve never done coke in my life. But if I did, I’d do it proudly.” What do you think of Nicki Minaj finally settling her lawsuit against Nosey Heaux? HNHH Fire Emoji Playlist: Stream

Fortunately, if you’re a fan of posse cuts, Fire Emoji has more thanks to That Mexican OT, Curren$y, and Le$’ “1982.” This is a fast-flowing but still smooth and ethereal cut that pushes these rappers’ lyrical limits while making a pleasant and engaging sonic combination. Rob49 also came through with a lot of energy on his latest revamped collab with Skilla Baby and now GloRilla, “Mama.” There’s a lot of charisma on this single thanks to their performances, and a menacing hard trap instrumental that keeps the bounce up.

Meanwhile, Latto updated her new album Sugar Honey Iced Tea with the fan-favorite “Chicken Grease” bonus track, adding to the LP’s longevity. Finally, speaking of new albums, we got a brand new Gangsta Grillz mixtape this week in the form of Gucci Mane’s Greatest Of All Trappers, on which “Rich N***az” is a highlight. Larsa Pippen & Porsha Williams Joke About Marcus Jordan’s Drug Use Allegations

Earlier this month, Marcus Jordan was photographed snorting a white substance with friends in France. It remains unclear exactly what this substance was, but as expected, social media users have a few ideas. The news arrived just a few months after he and his ex, Larsa Pippen, went their separate ways. They were previously believed to be on good terms following the breakup, though it now appears as though she could be throwing some shade his way.

Yesterday, she took to Instagram to share a selfie, which shows her holding up what looks to be an alcoholic beverage. “Sipping,” she captioned the post simply. Shortly after, Porsha Williams took to her comments section with an apparent reference to Jordan’s drug use allegations. “Sipping not sniffing,” she wrote alongside a couple of playful emojis. “Never that 🥰,” Pipped then replied.

Larsa Pippen & Porsha Williams Seemingly Shade Marcus Jordan With “Sniffing” Comments

The apparent jabs come amid reports that Pippen believed Jordan lied about using drugs throughout their relationship. “She can’t waste her energy on anyone who takes drugs,” a source told Marca per Vibe. “He’s been hiding this lifestyle for a while and used to lie to her about it every day.” At the time of writing, Pippen’s relationship status is unknown, though Jordan has recently started dating influencer Ashley Stevenson. She too was spotted in the photos of his alleged drug use, though she herself was not seen using anything.

Of course, it’s uncertain whether or not Pippen intended to be shady towards her ex with her latest remark, though it appears as though Williams did. What do you think of Larsa Pippen and Porsha Williams’ seemingly shady comments about Marcus Jordan and his recent drug use allegations? Are you surprised about them or not? Trick Daddy Doubles Down On GloRilla Thirst With Explicit Rant

Earlier this week, Trick Daddy hopped online to share his appreciation for GloRilla. He posted a photo of her posing in a mirror, complimenting her bathroom. “Damn Glo I’m loving this bathroom [side eye emoji],” he wrote. As expected, social media users were quick to call him out. Many had issues with his behavior, arguing that it was disrespectful and creepy to thirst for the “TGIF” rapper publicly.

It looks like Trick Daddy was unbothered by the backlash, however. Today, he took to social media once again, this time getting extremely explicit with his remarks about GloRilla. Essentially, he said he wanted to sleep with her, and that she’d rap about it after. This latest video has earned him a great deal of backlash in The Neighborhood Talk‘s comments section, and most can agree that he crossed the line.

Trick Daddy Discusses GloRilla

“This is disturbing to say the least,” one Instagram user writes. “Immediately no,” someone else says. At the time of writing, GloRilla has yet to address his remarks, so it remains unclear exactly how she feels about all of this. She isn’t the first femcee Trick Daddy has shown love to in recent weeks, however, as he also praised Sexyy Red on his podcast this month. He was much more respectful at the time, claiming that she was snubbed at the BET Awards.

“You got snubbed,” he began. “Sexyy Red was up for the rapper, entertainer, performer. One of ’em other year. I remember last year, they was hating on her since she wasn’t making, now I can’t go in a club. I can’t step in a club without hearing some Sexyy Red.” What do you think about Trick Daddy doubling down on his thirst for GloRilla? Has he crossed the line? Latto Gets Official But Disappointing First Week Sales For “Sugar Honey Iced Tea”

Latto’s new album Sugar Honey Iced Tea has been a big hit for fans, but they are a bit disappointed with the wider music-consuming landscape for not showing the same love. Moreover, the project’s official first week sales numbers are here courtesy of HITS Daily Double and Chart Data, pointing to a No. 14 debut on the Billboard 200 chart with 29K in album-equivalent units sold. Some of the Atlanta femcee’s rival fanbases already clowned this debut, but it’s not far off from what many other rap creatives are selling these days. As such, it’s important to note that this is part of a wider conversation around rap’s commercial status, not a sole attack or ridicule concerning a specific artist.

Regardless, we doubt that Latto is very pressed about this; in fact, she’s probably very grateful for the support and acclaim that she received over the past week or so. After all, she has a headlining tour coming up soon which she’s probably gearing up for quite excitedly. Mariah The Scientist and Karrahbooo will join Big Mama for this trek, and it should make for quite the bombastic and entertaining concert series. We’ll see what else the Sugar Honey Iced Tea era and rollout holds for 2024.

Latto’s First Week Sales For Sugar Honey Iced Tea

Elsewhere, though, Latto caught some heat from female hip-hop fans for her thoughts on the GOAT femcee (who she thinks is Lil Kim). Nicki Minaj fans, including Akbar V, took strong issue with this. “Lil Kim was the Goat …” Akbar wrote. “her and foxy both had they run and did a lot for us female rappers so did eve, missy elliot , etc but what about when there was a stand still and no label wanted to sign female rappers ? Who came and open the door and had the longest run in history Nicki Minaj … so let’s not say Kim is the Goat of all time because no dck grabbing it’s @NICKIMINAJ …..give that damn girl her flowers when it’s due yall don’t got to fk with each other but keep it a stack.”

Meanwhile, Latto had even more to offer fans with Sugar Honey Iced Tea thanks to the bonus track “Chicken Grease.” Even though its Billboard performance left many fans disappointed, there are still many tracks to enjoy and give longevity to throughout the year and those that follow. We’ll see what her next moves are, and what this new era holds.

50 Cent Fires Back After Luenell Calls Him Out For All-Male Comedy Fest Lineup

Earlier this month, 50 Cent hosted his Humor & Harmony Weekend festival in Shreveport, but Luenell was not impressed with the lineup. She weighed in during a recent interview, expressing her disappointment that female comedians weren’t included. “I want to say that the game is still so misogynistic because I just heard about this Comedy Festival that my dear friend 50 is having right now… and there were several comedians on the plane, but not one female comic. Not one,” she explained.

She also noted how important fair representation is, as people of all genders were in attendance. “How can you expect women, who buy a lot of tickets, to sit and listen to man after man after man after man after man?” she wondered. “The assumption is that men are funnier than women… but that’s the assumption that’s been perpetrated.”

50 Cent Claims Luenell Was Too Busy For Humor & Harmony Weekend

Luenell’s comments sparked a response from Fif, who took to Instagram earlier today to clear things up. According to him, it was not intentional, and he would have liked to include women in the lineup. He claims he was even interested in booking her, but he figured that her schedule was simply too busy. “Proof you can’t make everybody happy,” he wrote. “I love luenell’s work that’s why I had them put her in Ghost. We saw her big a** was booked already,🤨so we didn’t reach out. you think I didn’t want Monique, Sommore or Amy Schumer they on FIRE 🔥WTF 😤 @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi.”

What do you think of Luenell calling out 50 Cent for the “hurtful” lack of female comedians on the Humor & Harmony Weekend lineup? What about his response? Who do you think is in the right? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.
