Kanye West Shows Off The Colossal Set List For His Show In South Korea

On Thursday, August 22, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign took a short trip to South Korea for one of their “Vultures Listening Experiences”. The latter announced it on his Instagram about a month prior to the release of VULTURES 2, the second it’s what’s sadly turning out to be an extremely mediocre trilogy. Even with that, West fans across the globe are going to make sure that they keep his and the record’s status afloat. As for now, this was the only chance to support them, as the Taiwan show scheduled for tomorrow was axed.

As per usual, Kanye West was causing a stir online, as he dedicated his Graduation hit “I Wonder” to Drake. Obviously, given their relationship is always in flux, and it currently being in an ugly state, fans were unsure on his motives. Some see it as a diss, as well, though. “This one’s for Drake, this one’s for Ian Connor,” Ye shouted to the crowd.

However, this wasn’t the only thing causing some sort of reaction. According to Uproxx, Kanye West posted to his recently reactivated Instagram account to share the behemoth of a set list that he put on. 54 songs were performed that night and it was basically a catalog wide affair. It featured some of his biggest hits of the past and present such as “Devil In A New Dress”, “Run This Town”, “Hurricane”, among others. Of course, there were tons of tracks from both VULTURES tapes as well. “GOD’S NOT FINISHED”, he captioned the post. With that, it sounds like he’s got more shows in the works, so stay tuned.

What are your thoughts on Kanye West nearly performing his entire catalog in South Korea? Is this the longest set list you have ever seen? How do you feel about him performing out that way? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Kanye West. The Joe Budden Podcast Credits Dipset With Putting Lil Wayne On, But Some Fans Disagree

As usual, The Joe Budden Podcast came through with a spicy take recently that got hip-hop fans into a strong debate. Moreover, the cohosts seemed to refer to how some Southern scenes, including Atlanta and others, only got popular due to New York co-signing them and letting them in on the fun. They brought up a couple of examples, such as Jeezy and Fabolous, but the most controversial point was that Dipset (also known as The Diplomats) were the ones who broke Lil Wayne into the rap game. However, Budden was quick to note that he has all the respect in the world for Atlanta, and seemed to acknowledge that this commentary is something that fans could easily mischaracterize.

Well, he wasn’t wrong… Or perhaps more accurately, folks still disagreed with the core of his and his cohosts’ actual argument. Debate quickly ensued in the replies, and went in all sorts of directions. But this is a sentiment that even Dipset themselves, namely its member Jim Jones, would definitely agree with. He claimed that Lil Wayne took inspiration from The Diplomats’ style after spending a summer with them.

The Joe Budden Podcast Thinks Dipset Broke Lil Wayne

But even though this debate around how Lil Wayne became a superstar brings regional debates into the fold, the core of his Cash Money family still rides behind him. “I been with him, that’s my dude,” Juvenile said while calling Weezy the best rapper of all time during his Breakfast Club interview alongside Mannie Fresh. “I saw the whole process of him, just seeing the whole development of Wayne and where he’s at right now.” It would be interesting to hear Tunechi’s take on all this, considering that he would definitely show love to both groups for very different reasons. Check out reactions to The Joe Budden Podcast‘s take down below.

Meanwhile, in other Lil Wayne news, he recently sought to dismiss an assault lawsuit against him from his former bodyguard. As for Dipset, their impact on the game should never meet disrespect, even if the specific details of its extent can cause debates like these. Perhaps the next episode of The Joe Budden Podcast will explain their take more clearly. But either way, Cash Money and The Diplomats have plenty of reason to admire each other.

Sean Kingston Sprints Out Of Court After Pleading Not Guilty To Fraud: Watch

Earlier this year, federal authorities raided Sean Kingston’s Florida home, resulting in the arrest of both him and his mother Janice Turner. In July, a Grand Jury indicted them on multiple federal charges. They each face one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and five counts of wire fraud for allegedly scamming businesses out of over $1 million worth of goods.

Yesterday, they appeared in court for a federal arraignment, where they pleaded not guilty to their charges. They asked for a jury trial, and their attorney Bob Rosenblatt began the discovery process. Following the arraignment, the mother-son duo was spotted making a hasty exit. Kingston sprinted towards a black escalade while Turner flipped off ABC Local 10 reporters before getting into a separate vehicle.

Federal prosecutors allege that Kingston and Turner “unjustly enriched themselves by falsely representing that they had executed bank wire or other monetary payment transfers as payment for vehicles, jewelry, and other goods.” Reportedly, each count they’re facing could earn them a maximum sentence of 20 years. They’re facing six each, meaning potentially lengthy sentences for them both. Of course, what actually plays out in this case remains to be seen, and fans are hoping for the best.

Despite the circumstances, Sean Kingston and his attorney appear confident. “It’s great to be home!” the artist told fans following his release on a $100K bond in June. “A special thanks to God, my family, my friends and my legal team… Robert Rosenblatt, James Stark, Mark Geragos, Zeljka Bozanic, Pierre Pollas. And I cannot forget about my amazing fans, thank you for all your love and support! I love you guys!” What do you think of Sean Kingston and his mother pleading not guilty to federal fraud charges? What about the duo running out of the courthouse afterward to avoid reporters? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Tony Yayo Addresses 50 Cent’s Controversial Decision To Spend 500K On Festival Security

50 Cent caused a stir with his Humor & Harmony Weekend Festival in Shreveport, Louisiana for various reasons. On the drama side of things, folks like Hurricane Chris criticized his decision to spend $500K on security, which Chris thinks could’ve instead benefitted a much more important or benevolent cause. But as Tony Yayo remarked on VladTV recently, this was just one of Fif’s many investments in the city to ensure a smooth-running and safe event. Ultimately, Yayo thinks that this investment was worth it, since celebrities and regular attendees alike could enjoy the shindig without worry. Also, he thought the team behind the festival executed everything seamlessly.

However, Hurricane Chris recently cleared the air around his critique of 50 Cent, explaining that his main issue is around the lack of local artists at the festival. “It’s no hate,” Chris said of his “culture vulture” take. “It’s all love, but I must voice my opinion because I been here, and I been in Shreveport.” Overall, he painted his words as “a big misunderstanding” and even expressed his will to collaborate with the G-Unit mogul one day if he’d be down.

Tony Yayo Talks About 50 Cent’s Shreveport Festival

“[Shreveport does] have artists,” Hurricane Chris remarked while thanking 50 Cent for contributing to his hometown. “A lot of artists, more artists that I can’t even name that would rock stages like that. It’s not about me. I definitely had no malice. It was just me wanting to see my community be respected… I was in one of those moods.” For what it’s worth, Fif didn’t take too kindly to Chris’ initial criticisms. “Oh no you not gonna play that one song you got,” he said mockingly on Instagram. “Bay Bay just went on stage wit Master P. Boy ya s**t is wack. Ya s**t gets no play in my ride.”

Meanwhile, Luenell also blasted 50 Cent (and he responded) over the Humor & Harmony Weekend Festival for only including male comedians. “I want to say that the game is still so misogynistic because I just heard about this Comedy Festival that my dear friend 50 is having right now… and there were several comedians on the plane, but not one female comic. Not one,” she stated in a recent interview. “How can you expect women, who buy a lot of tickets, to sit and listen to man after man after man after man after man? The assumption is that men are funnier than women… but that’s the assumption that’s been perpetrated.”

DaBaby Appears To Respond To DaniLeigh’s Brother’s Lawsuit On New Diss Track

DaBaby is making his feelings known on wax. A few days ago, an update surrounding the ongoing feud between the rapper and his ex-girlfriend DaniLeigh’s brother came through. His name is Brandon Bills, and he is seeking $4 million following an alleged physical attack from the hitmaker at a bowling alley. According to In Touch Weekly, Bills says he’s been dealing with “severe injuries, psychological damage, and medical bills”. Apparently, he’s been trying to get permission to send out this lawsuit toward DaBaby since July 2023 and he’s just now allowed to do so.

Overall, Bills says he was assaulted for no reason, so there really isn’t a whole lot to go off of. Perhaps, more details will arise when this goes to court. DaBaby seems to not be worried, though, especially based on certain bars off a new track he just dropped. “LAWSUIT ON A WEDNESDAY” is the title and its one of his YouTube exclusive releases. He doesn’t waste time at getting right into things, addressing it on the chorus.

However, DaBaby doesn’t let up from there, as he taunts Bills in his verses, too. “Bark like a big dog, but he really a puppy / Your Honor, I’m scared of this man, look at him“. Outside of the bars, fans seem to be enjoying the track. “U need to get sued more often if it’s gone make u drop hard shi like this 😭😭🔥🔥”, one user replies in the YT comment section.

What are your thoughts on DaBaby possibly addressing the lawsuit from DaniLeigh’s brother on this new track? Do you think the title, “LAWSUIT ON A WEDNESDAY”, is a dead giveaway? How does the song sound outside of the bars in focus? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Eminem’s Daughter Reveals Her Emotional Reaction To His New Musical Tributes

Eminem’s new album The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce) is an unsurprisingly irreverent and fiery project overall, but it also has some very tender and emotional moments. More specifically, the tracks “Temporary” featuring Skylar Grey and “Somebody Save Me,” featuring a Jelly Roll sample, tribute his family and his children. The Detroit legend’s daughter Hailie Jade recently revealed her tear-jerked reaction to these songs via her Just A Little Shady podcast. While some fans might have found these and other songs on this new album to be overkill or corny, that all becomes moot when compared to how it struck a chord with who it was really meant to reach.

“I watched it in entirety and I don’t think I can do it again,” Hailie Jade said of Eminem’s new music video for “Somebody Save Me.” “I definitely cry every time I hear it at all. Between that and ‘Temporary’… I mean, I can’t. I audibly sobbed, I think, for both songs, but especially ‘Temporary.’ Watching the [‘Somebody Save Me’] video back and listening to the songs, I feel like my parents did such a good job growing up where I didn’t realize how bad things were.

Hailie Jade Speaks On Her Father Eminem’s Recent Tribute Tracks: Watch Full Podcast Episode

Hailie Jade’s comments on the Eminem songs begin around the 27-minute mark.

“I think that’s why I get emotional so much just thinking that that could have happened,” Hailie Jade expressed while choking up around Eminem’s dangerous addiction and his reflections on almost overdosing. “And obviously that’s the point of the song. But I will say, if you’ve ever lost an addict or loved one, I feel for you.” But things weren’t all sad. She also said it was “fun” to see herself and her family in old footage in the “Somebody Save Me” visual.

Meanwhile, Hailie Jade admitted that she still has a hard time getting through Eminem’s 2004 classic “Mockingbird” without crying. “The older I get, the less I can listen to any of the songs,” she shared. “I’ve done enough crying and I told myself I refuse.” Sometimes, music is for a very particular person, and even those outside of this dynamic can understand the weight of the situation.

Kendrick Lamar Fans Notice He Responded To Drake’s “No Face” In Advance

Yesterday, Drake proved to the world that he’s not finished by unveiling three new tracks on his burner Instagram account. The first was a solo track called “Circadian Rhythm,” followed by “Supersoak (SOD)” without Lil Yachty. Finally, he dropped “No Face,” a collaboration with Playboi Carti. Of course, the surprise release is drawing big reactions from fans and critics alike on social media.

As listeners dissect the Toronto hitmaker’s lyrics, many are pointing out apparent jabs at Kendrick Lamar. On “Circadian Rhythm,” for example, Drake spits about dodging “funeral dates.” Some believe this could be a reference to Kendrick’s Juneteenth Pop Out show in LA, which fans jokingly dubbed a funeral for Drizzy online. The title of the song is also used in Kendrick’s second Drake diss, “6:16 In L.A.” It’s billed as a sequel to his 2013 song “The Language,” which was widely believed to be a response to Kendrick’s “Control” verse.

Fans Dissect Drake’s “No Face” Lyrics

Obviously, Kendrick has yet to fire back, though he may have done so in advance. @AndresWrites called attention to a few of Drake’s “No Face” lyrics on X last night, as well as a diss from Kendrick’s “Meet The Grahams.” On “No Face,” Drake says that his therapist put in their 30-day notice. On “Meet The Grahams,” Dot suggested that therapy wasn’t enough for Drake and that he should instead strip his ego with ayahuasca.

Kendrick is far from the only fellow rapper fans think Drake took shots at on “No Face,” however. Listeners think he warned everyone that joined in on the 20 v. 1 battle, rapping “I’m just so happy that n***as who envied and held that sh*t in got to finally show it/ I’m over the Moon, yeah, we’ll see you boys soon.” What do you think of Drake dropping three new tracks last night? Which one is your favorite? What about fans pointing out that Kendrick Lamar fired back at his “No Face” lyrics ahead of time?
