Cardi B Claims Feeling Ganged Up On Inspired New Track “Enough (Miami)”

Cardi B has certainly kept herself busy as of late. Aside from unveiling her new single “Enough (Miami)” earlier this week, the hitmaker teamed up with SZA and Flo Milli for a remix of the latter’s viral hit, “Never Lose Me.” She’s even been making some unexpected revelations online, such as what inspired her latest release.

During a recent Instagram Live, the hitmaker shared that “Enough (Miami)” initially went by a different title, “And Her Name is Cardi K.” According to her, she made the song out of anger after feeling like everyone, including the Bardigang, had given up on her. She recalled feeling ganged up on, and deciding to issue a response.

“Enough (Miami)” Was Originally Called “And Her Name is Cardi K”

“The song was originally called ‘And Her Name is Cardi K.’ And the reason why I called this song ‘Cardi K’ … I said it in an interview, I was really angry. I felt like … b*tches was ganging up on me, I felt like I was very, like, underestimated. Even like my fanbase. I have a fanbase that’s big, but it’s very underestimated,” she explained. “So ‘Cardi K,’ I don’t know if you know how people be like, ‘EBK,’ like ‘Everybody Killa.’ I just felt like everyone was on some ‘Cardi K’ sh*t, like ‘Y’all on some Cardi Killa sh*t? Then f*ck you h*es! Fuck you b*tches!”

“I got in the studio on some mad sh*t, but honest with you, I’m not on that space right now,” Cardi B continued. “I don’t give a f*ck about nobody right now. But that’s her original name. Her original name is ‘Cardi K,’ but her stage name is ‘Enough/Miami.’” What do you think of Cardi B revealing what inspired her new song? Are you surprised? How do you like “Enough (Miami)” so far? Zack Bia & Teezo Touchdown Team Up For Trippy Dance Cut “DAMN!”

Drake co-signee Zack Bia has been tearing it up over the past year or so, finally releasing his own material. The multi-hyphenate DJ can be heard working with some of the top-notch artists in hip-hop right now. He impressed fans at the beginning of 2023 with his Don Toliver collaboration “Hardcore.” That would be his first solo release of his career, even though he has been in music business for years. Now, Zack Bia is teaming up with Teezo Touchdown for another club banger “DAMN!”

This marks these two artists first time hitting the recording both together and we are loving the oddness of the song. It is extremely trippy, especially if you watch the accompanying music video. The randomness of it all elevates the song’s weirdness factor by a factor of five. Additionally, this further cements the growing aura around Teezo Touchdown.

He is really separating himself from a lot of the competition on the hip-hop adjacent lane. The Texan artist has marketed himself brilliantly to where you can never pigeonhole him to one genre. As for Zack, his reputation is only going to skyrocket from here. Hopefully, we get an LP from the New York-based producer.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “DAMN!,” by Zack Bia and Teezo Touchdown? Is this one of his strongest tracks so far, why or why not? What is your favorite element of the song and why? Has Teezo given him the best feature so far? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. 42 Dugg Drops Off Grim Single “Wock N Red”

If there is a rapper that embodies the city of Detroit, it is 42 Dugg. Sure, there are plenty of others, but his pit bull-like mentality in his music really drives that point home. The gravelly-voiced MC has been enjoying these last several months as a free man. He was serving a one-year sentence for failing to surrender himself in what was supposed to be a six-month bout after a 2020 federal gun investigation. One of the ways 42 Dugg has been relishing this time has been through dropping singles like “Wock N Red.”

This is now the 29-year-old’s third solo single and fourth total release following his time behind bars. That outlier is a feature appearance on a deluxe Sexyy Red track “Perfect Match,” which also saw G Herbo on it. Probably the biggest success for Dugg so far has been “SpinDatBac.” Part of the reason for that was because there a was a video that was making the rounds on social media.

He was seen in the studio with J. Cole playing the track for him and he was digging it. It has become a fan-favorite since its release in November, receiving 5.5 million views on YouTube. To keep the momentum going for Dugg, he is back with “Wock N Red.” London on da Track has a production credit on this one, as he brings a murderous tone to match Dugg’s violent lyrics. Be sure to check out the music video above.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “Shibuya,” by Ski Mask The Slump God? Is this one of his strongest tracks as of late, why or why not? Ski Mask The Slump God Drops His First Solo Single In Nearly 2 Years With “Shibuya”

Ski Mask The Slump God has always been a fun, experimental, and hilarious figure in hip-hop. He is immensely talented and is someone you can count for some speedy flows and creative bars. There are not too many rappers like him, but unfortunately for fans, he just does not drop much. However, with Ski Mask’s new single “Shibuya,” hopefully this a sign that he is ready to release more material.

This in the Florida native’s first solo single since October 2022 with “OOGA BOOGA!” On that track Ski Mask sports an easy-going flow over a bouncy beat. Rumors had it that this was going to be a single for his eagerly-awaited sophomore album 11th Dimension. His debut, STOKELEY, dropped all the way back on November 30, 2018.

In fact, it was also a major possibility that Ski Mask would put out the record in November 2022. However, that obviously did not happen. The last update, outside of “Shibuya,” would come in November 2023 on X. “11th Dimension
The Album Coming So Soon,” according to Genius. Now with this new single, there is some talk we could get the album this month, but our confidence levels are low. As for “Shibuya,” Ski Mask is rocking a more laid-back and melodic flow, over a rage-esque beat with some killer synths. In typical quirky fashion, there are some Super Mario Bros. coin collecting sound effects for some extra character.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “Shibuya,” by Ski Mask The Slump God? Is this one of his strongest tracks in recent memory, why or why not? What is your favorite element of the song and why? Does this get you excited for his upcoming album, 11th Dimension? DaBaby Is All About Getting Freaky On “WONDER WOMAN”

DaBaby is someone who can wow with you his technical abilities, but as a creative mind, some would argue that he is lacking in that department. Of course, the conversations around that debate always revert back to his inability to switch up his flows and cadences. Hip-hop heads might have a field day with DaBaby and use “WONDER WOMAN” as ammo for their stance.

On this track you will find the Cleveland born MC talking about getting intimate with a love interest. However, it seems that DaBaby is trying to grab her attention as he wonders what she is like when it comes down to it. “I was hopin’ you a freak / I wonder how she act when I’m in that p***y (Act).”

Sexyy Red Reunites With Tay Keith, Brings A Confident Banger For The Ladies On “Get It Sexyy”

It is a common occurrence for people to start hating on someone who sees mounds of success come their way. Sometimes the confusion is valid, especially when the means in which someone accrues popularity is a little questionable. Sexyy Red seems to fit that bill for most doubters, as her rap style and actions are shockingly palatable. However, if there is one thing we have come to learn about Sexyy Red is that she is going to keep on chugging, as “Get It Sexyy” proves that.

This is the Missouri femcee’s first solo offering since she remixed the viral deluxe cut from Hood Hottest Princess, “Bow Bow Bow (F My Baby Mama).” That new take offered up Chief Keef’s talents. They actually just rekindled their new found chemistry on “DAMN SHORTY” from DIRTY NACHOS.

“Get It Sexyy” also sees another reuniting, as Red and Tay Keith were back in the booth together for this one. His loud and aggressive beats have been a natural fit with the ratchetness she brings, since their first collab. While there is not anything new from this duo, the ladies are probably going to be all over the sexually confident energy. The haters are not going to like hearing her in 2024, but this is seemingly just the beginning for Sexyy Red.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “Get It Sexyy,” by Sexyy Red and Tay Keith? Is this one of her strongest tracks as of late, why or why not? Flo Milli Revamps “Never Lose Me” Again By Adding Cardi B & SZA

Flo Milli has been absolutely popping since the release of her hit single “Never Lose Me.” While it is a simple song at its core and a theme we have heard before in female hip-hop, it is so damn catchy. Fans are in agreeance, as the November 30 release has garnered over 166 million streams on Spotify. To help bring more excitement to the track, Flo Milli has recruited Cardi B and SZA for a new “remix.”

This is now the third time that the Mobile, Alabama rapper and singer has redone the track. On Christmas Eve, Flo grabbed Lil Yachty and Bryson Tiller to add their unique flare to the uber-sexual single. This latest edition with the two hip-hop mistresses is now tied for the longest runtime out of everyone rendition, standing at 2:45. Milli does a great job incorporating her guests’ parts, as neither of them overstay their welcome.

Cardi B brings her lighter tone to the track, complementing the more delicate production. SZA is a natural fit as well, as she is on her toxic behavior that he has showcased a lot in the past. Furthermore, this edition, along with the OG, are the ones that make the cut for Flo’s new album Fine Ho, Stay. This is now the third installment in the Ho series, with the previous ones being You Still Here ? and why is you here ?

Gunna Denies Snitching Claims On New Offset Collab “Prada Dem”

Gunna just dropped off a new collaborative single with Offset, “Prada Dem,” and it’s probably his most high-profile collab since his RICO arrest back in 2022. That’s because accusations of snitching plagued him ever since his plea deal in this YSL case, resulting in some subliminal beefs and a whole lot of debate. But on this new track, the College Park, Georgia native continues to deny these claims as his career grows and evolves past this phase. “I set the trend, I’m a trendsetter / I’m not a rat, still gettin’ cheddar,” he raps on the cut, which is a pretty solid and satisfying link-up between these two MCs.

What’s more is that the Drip Season spitter will go on tour this year to fully capitalize on his comeback. A lot of fans really loved his 2023 LP a Gift & a Curse, and even though it wasn’t the most critically acclaimed release of that year, it was certainly one of its biggest and most pivotal moments. After all, Gunna competed with Young Thug by dropping their first post-YSL RICO albums a week apart. But as time goes on and the “rat” narrative dies down, assuming that there’s bad blood between them seems more and more like an unlikely reality.

Gunna & Offset’s “Prada Dem”: Stream & Watch The Music Video

Not only that, but this contentious speculation also applies to other hip-hop peers, namely Lil Baby. He’s been one of the most outspoken and most thinly veiled actors when it comes to dissing Gunna, which is sad considering their previous partnership. In fact, Wunna seemed to take aim at Baby on his recent single “Bittersweet,” and these constant drops indicate that there could be something big on the way. Maybe a Gift & a Curse cleared the air, and now it’s time for him to go full throttle against his detractors.

Still, none of that means anything if the material isn’t good, so we’ll see what else there is to offer. For now, it’s been all hitters, and as the YSL RICO case goes on, we’ll see if the 30-year-old pops up in it more. 2024 might be an even more successful year for him than the last. On that note, keep checking in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Gunna.
