Just over a month ago, Jewish Florida rapper BLP Kosher put out his debut project, Bars Mitzvah. His eclectic musical style and physical appearance will either get your interest or have you scratching your head. However, there is no denying the rapper has his own style that is working, as he and SCY Jimm look to break through in a crowded rap scene in Florida. The two combine their talents on SCY’s newest single, “Ain’t Original.”

SCY is another artist we have not had the opportunity to cover at HNHH. Here is a little background info on one of the East Coast’s many rising talents. According to Genius, his legal name is Jimnirable Ke’Shawn Curry III. He was born on June 12, 2000, and is from Bunnell, Florida. His musical venture began by releasing freestyles on social media at age 14.

Additionally, he continued to find even more success after the release of his 2022 single “Ballin.” Now, he follows up his last project from this year, Trench Baby, with “Ain’t Original.” Give it a listen up above!

What are your initial thoughts on this brand new collaboration single, “Ain’t Original,” with SCY Jimm and BLP Kosher? Do these two need to make more music together? City Morgue Is Calling It Quits With Their Final Record Together “My Bloody America”

New York City multi-talents SosMula and ZillaKami are wrapping up their time together. Collectively, they formed the rap and rock duo, City Morgue. As an outfit, they have been putting out music since the latter half of 2018. Their first project, CITY MORGUE VOL 1: HELL OR HIGH WATER, was put out on streaming platforms on October 12, 2018. Since then, City Morgue added two more tapes in that series, with the second installment receiving a deluxe. In between the second and third volumes, they released a project in 2020 called TOXIC BOOGALOO.

All of this hard work has brought us to the first half of September, which is ultimately the send-off for this high-energy pairing. This was confirmed by SosMula back on June 24, 2022, according to Genius. “ZillaKami announced on Instagram that he was on ‘probably on his last City Morgue tour.’” The annotation continues, “A leaker on Instagram had also commented that City Morgue is likely disbanding after they owe to Republic Records. On the same day, SosMula had confirmed on Instagram that the upcoming album will be their final album.”

Listen To My Bloody America From City Morgue

While it is a sad day for fans of this genre-bending group, they certainly went all out with a final hoorah. Two of the singles ahead of this project were “Skull & Bones 322,” and “HAHA WACO.” “Skull & Bones 322” has probably the catchiest tune on the record. This is something you might not attribute to City Morgue’s style, as it is very avant-garde. Their blends of horrorcore, rap, rock, heavy metal, and various others are what captivated many who are into the underground scene.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand new album, My Bloody America, from City Morgue? Is this the duo’s best output together? Do you think they are an unheralded combo in the rap scene? We want to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below. Shenseea Wants Everyone To Drop Their “Waistline” On Her Latest Summer Anthem

For most people, the fall season is already in full swing. People are beginning to get ready for all of the holidays, the leaves changing, and everything pumpkin spice. But, the turn of the season does not officially begin until the early morning of September 23. So, technically, Shenseea’s newest track, “Waistline” is here just in time before summer comes to a close. Besides, the dancehall genre does not give a hoot about what time of the year it is, it is always a beach day with these types of tunes!

Shenseea’s new song also features production credits from her man, London On Da Track. The extremely successful trap rap producer who has gone on to produce for some of the biggest hip-hop artists in the world, is now also dipping his toes into dancehall. The two appear to still be together as of about a few months ago. Former partner and baby mama to London, Summer Walker, credited Shenseea for changing him for the better.

EKKSTACY And Trippie Redd Fight Right At Home Together Talking About Their “Problems”

At HNHH we are always excited when we get the opportunity to cover a brand new artist. Today is one of those days, as we get to finally introduce a soon-to-be mainstay on the site, EKKSTACY. The reason we are talking about him is because he has just put out a brand new single, “problems.” It features heavyweight emo rapper and singer, Trippie Redd. Additionally, from what we know, EKKSTACY has not been featured on other rappers’ songs or albums, so this is a first for him.

The track is just over two minutes long and features a simple song structure formula. A chorus and two verses, one from each artist. This is EKKSTACY’s first new piece of music in over a year. It comes after his album from last year, misery, a ten-track listen featuring one of his bigger songs, “im so happy.” He also has his debut project, NEGATIVE, which came out in 2021. This effort got fans to take notice of the Canadian post-punk and indie rock singer.

Listen To “Problems” From EKKSTACY And Trippie Redd

EKKSTACY has not been making music for that long, only starting to release songs on streaming back during the pandemic. Born in 2002, the young multi-talent still has plenty of time and room for growth, which is very exciting. Nabbing a feature from a big-time rapper who has familiarity with these genres is going to bring even more attention to him. EKKSTACY’s raw and desolate sounds are ones that are very popular and should resonate with fans. Give his new track a listen above!

What are your initial thoughts on this brand new single, “problems,” from EKKSTACY and Trippie Redd? Will hearing this song make you check out more music from EKKSTACY? If you have listened to him before, which songs are his best? We want to hear what you have to say about all of this. Nas Works His Magic On “Pretty Young Girl”: Listen

Even at 50 years old, Nas continues to outrap many other artists in the game, especially when he lays down his bars over beats by Hit-Boy. In less than a year they’ve given us King’s Disease III, Magic 2, and now, Magic 3, all of which have only helped to expand the “Hood 2 Hood” hitmaker’s fanbase. His newest LP landed on streamers this past New Music Friday (September 15), markedly boasting just one guest feature from Lil Wayne on “Never Die.”

Besides that, Nas manages to captivate us on his own with his clever rhymes, reflecting on everything from the type of women who have been known to catch his eye to solidifying his status as one of the most prolific figures in hip-hop. On the 15-song tracklist, our favourite title – “Pretty Young Girl” – is located right in the middle, and it appears Spotify listeners are digging the song too.

“I think she right for me and I don’t even know her / I mean the one time I seen her, she was naturally glowin’,” Nas gasses up his dream girl in the later part of his verse. “That’s why I made this song, told the label promote it / So she can hear it, ’cause even if she don’t like rap / This still gon’ find her right where she’s at,” he continues, clearly trusting in divine timing to bring her into his life.
