Cardi B Previews New Music

Cardi B previewed some unreleased music on social media, earlier this week. The stream comes as she continues to work on her highly-anticipated sophomore album. When The Neighborhood Talk shared the clip on Instagram, fans had mixed responses to the song.

“When are ppl and the industry/media gonna be honest about Cardi?” one hater wrote. “She’s the most coddled artist in history and doesn’t even have the talent to deserve the grace she’s been given. Other actual talented artists have been dragged for a lot less.” Another added: “All her music sound like pandemic raps. You can tell they were made years ago.”

Cardi B has been building to the release of her next album for years at this point. She dropped her critically acclaimed debut, Invasion of Privacy, back in 2018. She recently explained the reason for the delay while appearing on Ebro in the Morning. “Then on top of that, everything just has to be like perfect from everything because I feel like people are expecting so much,” she said. “For my first album, I didn’t get to do not even half the things I wanted to do because I was super super duper pregnant. I missed out on a lot of videos I wanted to do, I missed out on touring — I just missed out on a lot of things, so I just gotta make sure that everything is just planned out.” She also confirmed the project will drop sometime in 2024.

Jay Rock Reveals He Will Be Dropping A New Song With Ab-Soul This Friday

Two parts of the Black Hippy rap group are gearing up for a big-time single coming very soon. The members we are talking about are Jay Rock and Ab-Soul. Both artists are known to be fairly infrequent when it comes to pushing out new material. However, that has not been the case as of late. Just last year Ab put out his first record in six years with HERBERT. Then, just a few weeks ago, he and T.F joined up for a single, “Hidden Stages.” For Jay Rock, he is getting closer and closer to ending his album drought.

The Los Angeles, California rapper’s last effort was in 2018 with Redemption. Since then, he has been a part of a single with REASON called “At It Again – Remix.” Following that he put out two tracks that are expected to land on his upcoming LP, Eastside Johnny*. There is no word on the release date, but hopefully, the time is near. Jay teamed up with Kal Banx on “Eastside,” and then with Anderson .Paak and Latto on, “Too Fast (Pull Over).” Finally, just a few weeks back he dropped some personal bars on a YouTube exclusive freestyle.

Danny Brown’s “Quaranta” Album Finally Dropping In November: Details

The last time we heard a solo album from 42-year-old Danny Brown was in 2019 when he dropped off Uknowhatimsayin¿. Since then, hip-hop heads have been eager to hear more from the Texas-based creative, who’s been hinting at his upcoming LP, Quaranta for some time now. Today (October 17), a release date of November 17 was finally confirmed, along with the arrival of Brown’s “Tantor” single and an Uncanny-directed visual featuring an eye-catching futuristic cyborg suit.

Earlier this year, the “Grown Up” recording artist completed a stint in rehab that’s seemingly changed his outlook on many things in life. As a result, it’s likely we’ll be introduced to a new version of Brown through his latest body of work. Pitchfork notes that he’s described Quaranta (meaning “40” in Italian) as a “spiritual bookend” to his 2011 effort, XXX, which arrived on his 30th birthday.

The next time you can catch the rapper live will be at the 10th annual Bruiser Thanksgiving, which he’s set to host and perform at on November 22 at the Russell Industrial Center in his hometown.

On his Quaranta album, Danny Brown will be collaborating with a small host of other artists. Gucci Mane Unleashes 24-Track Project “Breath Of Fresh Air” Featuring J. Cole, Lil Baby, & More

One of the founding fathers of trap rap is back with their brand new album. Gucci Mane delivers a massive project with plenty of familiar faces. The title, Breath of Fresh Air, is a little bit misleading. Guwop, while a respected legend no doubt, is not really bringing anything new to the subgenre.

The rapper has put out tons of massive albums and mixtapes. In fact, this is his 16th album to date. On top of that, the beats are what you come to know him for as well. Gucci really is not turning a new leaf with this record.

Listen To Breath Of Fresh Air From Gucci Mane

There are still some standout songs in the tracklist, however. You have J. Cole and Mike WiLL Made-It on one of the singles leading up to the release. “Glizock & Wizop” with Key Glock is another fun listen, too. But, it just is not anything new or enticing for trap. Especially, with it containing 24 cuts and over an hour in length, its another bloated tape more than anything else. Still give it a listen above.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand new album from Gucci Mane, Breath of Fresh Air? Is this the rapper’s best project excluding mixtapes? Who had the best feature performance out of everyone? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. Mike WiLL Made-It, Swae Lee, And Latto Are A “Different Breed” On Their New Single

Marietta, Georgia trap producer Mike WiLL Made-It is back with some more heat. He has been crafting hits for years now, that is no secret. He really became popular making beats for the rap duo Rae Sremmurd in the mid-2010s. Since then, Mike has continued to etch himself amongst the greatest of this generation.

Over the past few months, he has hit the studio to team up with some big-time talent. Mike WiLL Made-It got the ball rolling, linking with J. Cole to craft a beat for Lil Uzi Vert. All three made an absolute banger with “Blood Moon.” Uzi spits and rides the instrumental perfectly. Following that, Cole went back to rapping on the next single with Gucci Mane. “There I Go,” the name of that song, will appear on Guwop’s album Breath of Fresh Air due on October 17.

Now, this latest track, featuring Swae Lee and Latto, is Mike’s second single of the year. He produced this one with the icon, Scott Storch. Both are rapping about how they are stars in the industry. There is no word on a new Mike project, but these two solo tracks could be on one. He has not dropped an LP since 2018’s Edgewood (41E Edition).

What are your initial thoughts on this brand new single from Mike WiLL Made-It, Swae Lee, and Latto, “Different Breed?” Is this the best single that the producer has put out this year? Who had the better performance on the track, Swae or Latto? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. Drake Co-Signs Ken Carson And His New Album “A Great Chaos”

Just a couple of weekends ago, Drake came through and dropped off his new album, For All The Dogs. Overall, it is a project that has proven to be quite polarizing. However, that has not stopped it from achieving incredible success on the Billboard charts. It is the biggest album in the entire world right now, and for good reason. It has sold over 400K units in its first week on streaming which is pretty impressive. Although it does bring in the end of an era as Drizzy looks to take a break from making music.

This has given the artist some time to relax and listen to other artists. For instance, he has been listening to none other than Ken Carson. We know this because Drake took to his Instagram story and posted a screengrab of him listening to “Jennifer’s Body.” This is a song that was already viral on TikTok well before the release of the album. Regardless, it serves as one of the best tracks and it is cool to see Drizzy giving Carson a huge co-sign.

Drake Is A Fan Of Ken Carson

As many of you already know, Carson is an Opium artist who is signed to Playboi Carti. He has been with Opium for quite some time, and he has done some great work on the label. He and Destroy Lonely serve as the two biggest stars on the imprint, and they are only getting better. One has to wonder what this latest co-sign will end up doing for their respective careers.

Be sure to let us know what you think of A Great Chaos, in the comments section below. In the eyes of some, it might be a contender for Album Of The Year. Kaliii’s New EP Marks The Start Of “FCK GIRL SZN”: Stream

In 2022, Kaliii finally dropped her second mixtape, Toxic Chocolate, which helped her solidify her own identity outside of the braggadocious NSFW raps she rose to fame with. As she continues to perfect her debut album, the Southern starlet has shared a new EP with hip-hop heads this weekend, aptly titled FCK GIRL SZN. While the more lonely in society are focused on finding a partner to cuddle up with this fall, Kaliii’s mind is obviously anywhere but.

The four-track effort begins with the Atlanta native’s previously released Young Nudy collab, “Say Too Much.” Following that we have a joint effort from Kaliii and GloRilla called “Can’t Get ‘Em,” which proves just how far both female lyricists have come since they were initially cast into the spotlight. The sole solo track on FCK GIRL SZN is “Stand On It,” marking the penultimate spot before NLE Choppa joins Kaliii on her final title, “K Toven.”

Kaliii Taps NLE Choppa to Join Her on “K Toven”

The newly Scooter Braun-managed artist had already shared the DJ Smallz 732-produced track as her own, but when she heard what Choppa had to offer, Kaliii couldn’t resist another collab. “Heard them b**ches say they outside / Where they at? We gon’ slide / Runnin’ through his bag like it’s mine / Said I love him, I was lyin’,” the 23-year-old quickly spits as her infectious beat begins. It’s unclear when she plans to follow FCK GIRL SZN with more, but we’ll happily take it whenever it comes.

Check out NLE Choppa’s verse on Kaliii’s “K Toven” above. If you’re feeling that, take some time to tap into the full EP on Spotify/Apple Music. Bad Bunny’s “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va A Pasar Manana” Album Marks A Triumphant Return

Now that Drake has finally delivered For All The Dogs, there’s been a notable increase in the number of releases coming from the hip-hop industry. Creatives are no longer living in fear of being dramatically out-streamed by the Canadian artist, who had the seventh-largest opening day in Spotify history thanks to his work. Many are still streaming that R&B-centric project, but this past New Music Friday (October 13), Bad Bunny followed up his short and sweet guest feature on Drizzy’s album with a new LP of his own called Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va A Pasar Manana.

The 22-track effort is on pace to make a No. 1 debut on the Billboard chart in the coming days, though its numbers are expected to be lower than 2022’s Un Verano Sin Ti. Regardless, Benito continues to make headlines thanks to his hard work, whether for making suggestive comments about his sex life with Kendall Jenner, or for seemingly dissing J Balvin.

Friends who joined forces with the “I Like It” hitmaker for Nadie Sabe include Young Miko, Mora, Bryant Myers, and Eladio Carrion. The latter comes through on “THUNDER Y LIGHTNING,” one of the final few titles on which Bunny seems to call Balvin out for being too friendly with many people in the music industry.

Check out our personal favourite song from Bad Bunny’s new album, “CYBERTRUCK” in the video above. D. Savage Is Feeling Like He Is The Man On “Lost & Found”

It has been quite a while since we at HNHH have had the chance to cover new D. Savage music. However, that changes today, as the Queens, New York MC has recently come out with a fresh single, “Lost & Found.” One of the lanes that Savage operates well in is the melodic side. It has become arguably the most popular subgenre of hip-hop since the 2010s.

While Savage is not the most standout voice in that space, he gets the job done time and time again. “Lost & Found” fits that bill and on this one, he is feeling more confident than ever before. At one point, he raps about knowing who actually messes with him and not letting them take advantage of his status. “All of this money, I do what I want / And I know niggas ain’t really gon’ ride / But I knew all of this shit from the jump.”

Listen To “Lost & Found” From D. Savage

This track from Savage is one of a handful he has put out in 2023. It began back in January with “Klosure.” This and others like “All Kap” and “Kome On,” all landed on his 2023 tape, Mafia Musik. There is no word if “Lost & Found” will wind up on a project coming down the pipe.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand-new single from D. Savage, “Lost & Found?” Is this the rapper’s best deep and most emotional track he has ever put out? Out of all four singles Savage has released, is this the best one of 2023? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest breaking news around D.
