Metro previously discussed why he enjoys working with Future during an interview with Ebro Darden in 2022. “He’s one of the best artists to work with like that,” he said at the time. “I feel like that’s why we get the results that we do because we don’t come in with any ego. He’s completely there asking you what he should do and what you like. With some other people, sometimes you have to eat whatever sh*t they give you that day. But with Pluto, he’s on the same sh*t I’m on, and I tell him, let’s make the hardest shit we can make, and he’s all in.”

Metro Boomin Hints At Future Collaboration

Chris Brown Drops One More Track Ahead Of “11:11” With “Nightmares” Featuring Byron Messia

Chirs Brown is one of the most prolific R&B crooners of this generation, if not the most. He drops albums fairly regularly and when he does they are massive listens. For example, his most recent offering, Breezy, was 24 songs and lasted over an hour and 20 minutes. But, it did not stop there.

A deluxe version came out, adding nine more cuts, extending the runtime to almost two hours. Finally, Chris Brown added one more extended edition on November 18 near the holiday season called, BREEZY – It’s Giving Christmas. It brought the final total to 35 songs with a listening experience lasting one hour and 56 minutes. Because of this, fans were saddened by the fact that 11 tracks were originally making the cut.

Listen To “Nightmares” From Chris Brown And Byron Messia

However, Brown decided to add another 11 songs. We already have some singles out for the project, with “Nightmares” being the most recent. This one features Byron Messia and it has a similar Afrobeat vibe like “Sensational” did. Furthermore, Sean Kingston has a production credit on it as well. Brown could possibly be taking this tape in a different direction based on what we have heard so far.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand-new single from Chris Brown and Byron Messia, “Nightmares?” Is this going to be the best song on 11:11? Are you excited about this new album, or will it be too long like the last few records? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below. Lil Durk Plays A Preview Of New Music For Fans

Earlier this year, Lil Durk released his new album Almost Healed. But that hasn’t stopped him from promising new material whether in the form of a deluxe edition or a new project entirely. That seems to still be the case as he has some fleshed-out new material that seems close to ready for release. In a new clip, Durk sits on stage with a number of other people playing the new song.

Fans quickly flooded the comments with positive reactions to it. The track sees Durk re-embracing a classic style and it seems like one people are more than happy to hear return. “He def been around Jay Z and Cole more i like it and im for different flows,” the top comment reads. “He need to droppppp” another commenter agrees. Many of the comments are simply filled with fire emojis, including one from R&B group dvsn. Check out the preview of the new song below.

Lil Durk Plays His Fans A New Song

Lil Durk recently contributed a verse to the new City Girls album RAW. He appears on the song “Static” on the first half of the record. Unfortunately, many may not have heard his standout verse as the album had quite underwhelming first-week sales numbers. Neither Yung Miami nor JT seemed too bothered by the sales numbers ultimately.

Lil Durk also has one of the biggest rap hits of 2023. His collaboration with J. Cole, “All My Life” peaked at number 2 on the Hot 100 and stuck around on the charts until ultimately fading this week. Last month, he shared two new remixes of the song adding international flavors to it. The first saw him recruiting afrobeat star Burna Boy who contributed a standout guest appearance. For the second, more surprising remix he brought on K-pop stars Stray Kids fresh off a smash hit new album for their own version of the song. What do you think of the new snippet of music Lil Durk shared with fans? Let us know in the comment section below.

Yeat Shares Teaser Trailer For His New Album

Yeat has had a busy few years. In 2022 he dropped his critically acclaimed album Lyfe. Earlier this year he followed it up with a deluxe edition of the album called Afterlyfe. Though he’s dropped a couple singles this year, his biggest track is a team up with Drake on the song “IDGAF.” The track has been a substantial hit for both artists debuting near the top of the Hot 100 and sticking around in the top 10 in successive weeks.

Now, he’s begun teasing his new era with a trailer for the upcoming album. The “Lifestyle Corporation” trailer shows off a series of futuristic animations. It’s back by narration of a corporate police state who is controlling and likely oppressing people’s freedom. In the comments fans quickly called out one particular influence that seems to loom large over the trailer. “Bro read the 1984 by George Orwell and now we got this,” one of the top comments on the post reads. Check out the full trailer and various fan reactions below.

Yeat’s New High Concept Album Trailer

Just last month, Yeat shared his newest single “WTF they on.” He dropped the trippy banger exclusively on YouTube which might explain why it hasn’t caught on quite as much with fans. The track has racked up 700k views on YouTube since it first dropped two weeks ago. It’s unclear whether the song is leftover from previous studio sessions or intended for his new album.

The last single he shared to streaming “bigger then everything” dropped back in March. That track has collected an impressive 25 million streams on Spotify alone since it dropped. While his new announcement doesn’t come with a release date or much of any concrete information, it still has fans hyped for what Yeat is cooking next. What do you think of the trailer Yeat shared teasing his new album? Let us know in the comment section below.

Maino And Giggs Drop Feel-Good Track “We Made It”

Maino is a longtime underground rapper and personality from Brooklyn, New York. He is a pretty prolific artist at that. He has been around since the mid-2000s and has a handful of hits under his belt. While those days seem to be behind him, he is still delivering quality tracks and lyricism when he comes out with something new. Unfortunately, at least as for now, his latest single seems to only be on YouTube at the moment. Maino comes together with UK legend Giggs for the first time ever with “We Made it.”

For the Brooklyn native, this follows up his recent collaboration with recently released Cash Money rapper, B.G. He redid “For My City” titling it “New Orleans Remix.” He also has another previous single doing well for him with “Biggest Fan.” That is a team joint with M Dot Taylor and Jim Jones. For Giggs, he is coming off some solid success from his first record in three years, Zero Tolerance.

That tape got nods from 21 Savage, Dave, Diddy, Popcaan, Dave East, Jadakiss, and more. You can check out the accompanying visuals above for “We Made It.” The music video is nothing special but it definitely fits the casual but triumphant vibe of the record. Both are talking about making it to fame through all of the hardships.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand-new single from Maino and Giggs, “We Made It?” Is this the best single that he has put out so far this year? Who had the better performance on the record? Chris Brown’s New Album Will Be Twice As Long As Originally Promised

Back in August, Chris Brown announced his 11th studio album. For the project he was really leaning into the number 11. The album was called 11:11 and was set to drop on November 11, with 11 tracks. It’s that last detail that he’s now walking back on. After some fans expressed disappointment in the short tracklist given how long Brown’s recent albums have been, he decided to switch things up.

Earlier today he announced the official tracklist for the album which now features 22 songs. It’s still partially a play on the album title since 22 songs is exactly double the original 11. “HEALING ENERGY ON ME” Brown captioned an Instagram post revealing the names of the songs set to appear on the album. One thing he didn’t reveal is the features. While he did show fans which track have guests featured on them he’s keeping it a secret who appears where. Check out the tracklist announcement and fan reactions below.

Chris Brown Shares 22 Song Tracklist

Speaking of features, Chris Brown recently tapped a legend for a high-profile remix. Earlier this year Brown and Ciara teamed up for the song “How We Roll.” The track was met with pretty positive reception from rans which led to it getting a remix over the weekend. For the new version they tapped Lil Wayne for a standout guest verse adding to the song.

Brown’s most recent single of his own “Sensational” dropped last month. The song saw him teaming up with Davido and Lojay. As you’d expect from the collaborators, the track sees Brown exploring his afrobeat side. What do you think of Chris Brown doubling the length of his new album 11:11? Cochise Drops Fun New Track “Hop In The Whip”

Cochise is back with another fun track, “Hop In The Whip.” The carefree single is accompanied by a creative music video, which sees Cochise roaming around the city, spitting witty bars on a rooftop, and more. The single arrives only a few days after his October release, “Lukaku,” which is yet another easy listen. “Hop In The Whip” also follows his seven-track EP, No One’s Nice To Me, which he unveiled in full back in May. The song combines sunny, laid-back lyrics and playful ad-libs with a relaxed beat and an experimental melody.

“I count money, forgot how to read / I can buy what I want and I need,” he rhymes, reveling in the fruit of his labor. Similarly braggadocious, albeit light-hearted, lyrics make up the entirety track. He details feeling “so blessed” for his lifestyle, noting how he’s sure to “thank God every morning and night.”

Majid Jordan & Ne-Yo Usher In Winter Nights On Our New “R&B Season” Playlist Update

There’s nothing like some soulful tunes to help you warm up as November rolls around and the winter is right around the corner. For that reason, we complied the best releases of the week for our latest R&B Season playlist update so you can get all the heat you need. First up is Majid Jordan’s long-awaited new album Good People, comprised of nine tracks that play with lengthy songwriting and creating dense atmospheres of gorgeous vocals and instrumentation. If you want a sampler to get a taste, look no further than the breezy and softly engaging track “Eyes Closed.” Moreover, if you want to get even more ready for the holiday season, Giveon has you covered with his quietly tender “O Christmas Tree” single, which he dropped long before his latest one, “The First Noel.”

Furthermore, another R&B Season highlight came from Ne-Yo and Fabolous, who remixed the former’s single “Link Up.” It’s a very funky jam, with watery piano keys and dense bass courtesy of Hitmaka that will keep a dance floor grooving. On that same dance-heavy and catchily melodic note, we have a dual single from Mannywellz and Pink Sweat$. “Attention” and “Better With You” pull a lot from Afrobeat and dancehall rhythms, and the result is a summery banger that keeps the party going even in chilly weather.

HNHH R&B Season Playlist: Stream

However, if you still want a more fittingly slow and spacey cut for your R&B Season listening, Lucky Daye’s new song “That’s You” is here to please. The main appeal here is unquestionably Daye’s beautiful performance, flowing between falsettos and passionate runs over a classically sultry backing track. When you feel the need to pop in a full album experience this week, then Ryan Trey’s STREETS SAY YOU MISS ME will have plenty of highlights and intimate records for you to spin. Particularly, we want to shout out “MORE THAN SORRY” for its trap-R&B blend that would fit just as well on a soulful record as it would on a hip-hop-oriented one.

Meanwhile, we have one more release to cover: EARTHGANG and Spillage Village’s psychedelic and dreamy single “Blacklight.” What was your favorite release from our R&B Season playlist update this week? Drop your thoughts on that- and on what we missed- down in the comments section below. Also, check out the playlist in full above and come back to HNHH for more great music drops around the clock.

Toosii Drops Emotional New Single “Suffice”

This week, Toosii dropped off a new track from his upcoming album, Jaded. On “Suffice,” listeners hear Toosii mourn a lost love, which he’s finding tough to move past. The 23-year-old details his mixed emotions amid the devastating split, reflecting on his past, and revealing how a broken heart has changed his perspective.

“I want you to know, death ain’t my closest fear,” he tells listeners, revealing that love is actually what he fears most now. “Death is the end of the story,” he coins, “Love is when we live inside our glory.” The emotional track is grounded by a laid-back beat and decorated with a delicate piano melody.

Jaded Drops November 17

“I wrote our names on the mirror, hopin’ to see it clearer,” Toosii rhymes, seeking clarity amid the slurry of feelings he’s been overcome with. Throughout the introspective single, the New York-born performer repeats the phrase, “people come and go, that’s just life,” seemingly attempting to quell his own pondering. “Suffice” gives listeners a taste of what to come on Jaded, which is slated for release on November 17.

So far, listeners are loving the cathartic track, which has only managed to build more anticipation for his new LP. Jaded will follow Toosii’s second studio album Naujour, which he unveiled in June of this year. What do you think of Toosii’s new song? Will you be adding the track to your playlist? Are you looking forward to hearing Toosii’s new album, Jaded? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more news.

Quotable Lyrics:

I wrote our names on the mirror, hopin’ to see it clearer
That just won’t suffice
Mama say you gotta hear her, mama, I understand but people come and go, that’s just life
So tell me now, where do I go from here?
I want you to know, death ain’t my closest fear
I fear losin’ love, ’cause death is the end of the story
Love is when we live inside our glory
