NBA Youngboy Reveals His “Testimony” On New Single

Baton Rouge, Louisiana rapper NBA Youngboy is one of the most polarizing figures in rap today. You either enjoy his style or you do not, there is no in-between. Many people criticize him for a lot of his music sounding the same, or for the production choices he makes. However, possibly the biggest gripe a lot of people have is the rate at which he releases his new material.

In 2023 alone, he has put out three albums. They are not short projects either. His first release of the year was I Rest My Case which had 19 tracks. The next one, Don’t Try This At Home, was a whopping 33 songs and it was put out three months later. Finally, Richest Opp contained 17 cuts.

Quotable Lyrics:

Check out how I got that guap, baby, it won’t stop, n****
Put switch on back of that Glock, hit him, have his body twitchin’
Real gangster or a fake killer? Tell ’em, “F*** with us”
Had you front row at that funeral, n****, wonderin’ if we split ’em
I ain’t even squeeze that trigger, that’s that f****n’ bag that hit him
Four-door Magnum with a dirty .30, speedin’ to the millions, b****, get up with me

Majid Jordan And Naomi Sharon Create Vocal Symphony On “Waiting For You”

Toronto’s own R&B heaven-sent duo of singer Majid Al Maskati and producer Jordan Ullman are back with a new single for 2023. In fact, this is their first solo release since 2021, when they released their last full-length studio effort, Wildest Dreams. That project featured some heavy hitters such as Swae Lee, Drake, and Diddy. Majid Jordan had some wonderful and whimsical tracks such as “Waves of Blue,” “Summer Rain,” and “Stars Align” with their label head, Drake. Unfortunately, the duo has remained fairly dormant.

We say fairly because there have been some songs remixed featuring the two Canadians in the past year or so. But, no solo material in over two years. But, now they are finally making a little return to the R&B space with this just-dropped track called, “Waiting For You.” They are not alone on this cut, however, as Naomi Sharon makes an appearance here as well.

Listen To “Waiting For You” From Majid Jordan And Naomi Sharon

We also get a music video for this song and the visuals definitely have a throwback vibe to them. The video is grainy and the soft fadeaways in between Sharon and Jordan give it a nostalgic feeling. “Waiting For You” itself is a stunning track, as expected. The vocals bleed so well into each other from Sharon and Maskati and the production from Ullman is sensual and sweet. It is about willing to wait for someone you really care about no matter the cost. Like the message of the song, we are always willing to wait on Jordan for new music.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand new track, “Waiting For You,” with Majid Jordan and Naomi Sharon? Is this one of the best R&B songs of 2023? Do you think this duo should collaborate more often? We want to hear what you have to say about all of this. Quavo Puts Out Visuals For “Galaxy” From “Rocket Power”

I gotta go up for Take’.” That is exactly what the head of the Migos, Quavo did back on August 18 of this year. The day reflects the release date of his sophomore solo project, Rocket Power. The 18-track LP is a tribute to his late nephew and trio member, Takeoff. He tragically passed on November 1, 2022, after he was fatally shot after a dice game went south. It put the world of hip-hop at a standstill as many, especially the Migos, mourned his untimely demise.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago, we received the rapper and singer’s new project. The album did not perform well sales-wise, with about 32,000 copies sold. However, it is most likely safe to say that Quavo cares more about the impact of the record and the music behind it, rather than the dollar amount. That shows throughout the tracklist in different packages. The opening track, “Fueled Up” is an epic way to start the album with Quavo rapping about doing this for Takeoff. Simultaneously, this all performed over some amazing production.

Watch The Music Video For “Galaxy” From Quavo

A track that takes a different approach to showing emotion is “Galaxy.” It is more of an R&B cut, where Quavo is doing more melodic singing here. This song is about showering his lady with love and wanting to splurge on her. The beat has a nice groove as well that you can dance to or just sit back and relax and feel the vibe. The music video above features him with a woman in some Latin American country while also taking in the surroundings of city life. There are plenty of gorgeous shots containing the architecture and the native people.

What are your initial thoughts on this music video for “Galaxy” from Quavo? Is this the best song from Rocket Power? Is Rocket Power the better album compared to QUAVO HUNCHO? Jack Harlow Releases Vivid Music Video For “Denver”

Four months have gone by since the surprise release from Jack Harlow. We are of course talking about his eighth project Jackman. An album that saw the Louisville, Kentucky native more raw than ever before, especially compared to his last few releases. A short 10-track, 25-minute long LP that displays what the long-time fans of his music know him for. Harlow talked a lot about white privilege, race relations, the harsh truths about being famous, and discovering the people close to you can hurt you the most in different ways.

Compared to his previous efforts such as Come Home The Kids Miss You and That’s What They All Say, Jackman. did not even come close to the first week sales of those two projects. Only reaching 36k in total sales, commercially it was not a success, but a good deal of fans were enjoying it more than CHTKMY. Harlow’s realness on these cuts cannot be ignored and a song that embodies that quality is “Denver.”

Jack Harlow Escapes From The City Life Watch:

Jack Harlow just dropped visuals for “Denver” and they look captivating. It was shot in the city the song is named after, and it shows Jack escaping the hustle and bustle of the city. He takes a drive through some scenic roads that eventually lead him to the hillside and mountains of this gorgeous city. It really is the perfect video to go along with the lyrics that talk about getting away from all the noise and finding a sense of peace and tranquility. Also, Denver Nuggets star point guard and 2023 NBA champion Jamal Murray makes a cameo in the video, as he chops it up with the rapper.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand new music video for Jack Harlow’s song “Denver?” Is this the best music video he has ever released? Is this your favorite song from Jackman., and is it still in your rotation? We want to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave all of your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below. Earl Sweatshirt Drops “Sentry” With MIKE Off The Alchemist Collab Album: Watch

Earl Sweatshirt and MIKE just dropped off the Alchemist-produced track “Sentry,” the first release off of the Odd Future affiliate and the legendary beatmaker’s upcoming collaborative album Voir Dire. While it didn’t officially hit streaming services or YouTube (and we have no official release date for the project), this new track and music video spread around the Internet and social media. With a release party scheduled for this Friday (August 25), there’s good reason to believe that we’re getting this highly anticipated collab soon. What’s more is that it’s great to see Earl and MIKE collaborate given how much they’ve inspired and drawn from each other’s work.

Moreover, the track (like most of Uncle Al’s production) is a dense, earthy, and haunting sample loop that perfectly fits the MCs’ more laidback demeanor. It’s also phrased and chopped in a very interesting way, as Earl Sweatshirt and MIKE take completely different approaches when it comes to flow. The former tackles it in regular 4/4 time, or at least sounds like it, whereas the latter employs a triplet flow, switching up how “Sentry” hits rhythmically. It may be a stark and minimal soundscape, but it heightens the abstract and personal lyrics at play. Furthermore, these three creatives make a lot out of a little, using unconventional and unique approaches to turn a chop and some bars into so much more.

Earl Sweatshirt & The Alchemist’s “Sentry” With MIKE: Watch The Music Video

Meanwhile, in the music video, they simply rap in an empty and coldly lit hallway, but don’t seem disheartened by their circumstances. This often sums up their lyricism: despondent, reflective, and downtrodden; yet always resilient, vivid, and hungry. As he celebrates ten years since his first studio album Doris, Earl is still putting out high-caliber material with remarkable consistency and an emotive punch. If you haven’t heard “Sentry” yet, find it with the link below or watch the video above. Also, stick around on HNHH for more on Earl Sweatshirt, MIKE, The Alchemist, and Voir Dire.

Bam Margera Disses “Jackass” Co-Stars In New Music Video

You may know Bam Margera best for his work on “Jackass,” but apparently he has a burgeoning rap career under his belt. Well, he only rapped to diss his former co-stars, but a verse is still a verse at the end of the day, albeit not the greatest one you’ll ever hear. Moreover, he tapped rappers Cult Shotta and Tanboymiguel for the “Feel Like Bam” single and music video, and it’s quite the doozy. Instrumentally, it falls in line with the current alt-rock and rap fusions that other artists in the mainstream are crafting. Where it really gets spicy are in the lyrics, and even then, most of his disses come through a spoke-word outro at the end.

Furthermore, Bam Margera specifically took shots at Johnny Knoxville, Wee Man, Steve-O, and director Jeff Tremaine. Margera covered a few bases, even though his paint point was to say “F**k them all” and to bash their skating skills. Another bar actually sees him challenging Knoxville to a fight, whereas the only direct and more serious diss on this track had Tremaine as its target. The former “Jackass” star said that the director held them under unfair contracts stating that everyone could get hurt except him.

Bam Margera’s New Music Video

Unfortunately, Bam Margera’s been having a rough time as of late, whether due to his own actions or his struggles. For example, Lamar Odom invited him to rehab, and he got himself into plenty of dangerous situations over the past few years. Despite that, some of his peers read between the lines, and continue to urge him to seek true help. One of these was Steve-O, who posted and then deleted an emotional and pained message to his colleague.

I brought you on tour with me in hopes that I could get you to see what’s possible for you if you choose recovery,” he wrote. “I’ve tried everything I can. But I can’t force you to get honest and do the work of recovery. I wish you could know how much I’ve hated feeling braced for news of your death, but you’re making it clear that I have no other choice. You’re dying, brother, and it sucks that I can’t do anything to save you.” For more news and the latest updates on Bam Margera, stick around on HNHH.

Lil Durk Pours His Heart Out In Video For “Sad Songs”

Lil Durk is currently in the midst of a huge moment right now. Overall, he is one of the biggest artists in hip-hop. He has been able to come through with numerous fantastic albums over the years. However, in the eyes of some, Almost Healed is his best. With this new project, Durk is getting introspective. He speaks about his role in Chicago violence while also delivering bars about his love life. Recently, he went through some stuff with India Royale, and he touches on it on some of the tracks.

One of the songs he does this on is none other than “Sad Songs.” Overall, you can probably tell the subject matter and tone of the effort by the title. With this track, Lil Durk decides to go a bit heavier on the autotune, all while detailing his shortcomings in relationships. Just like the track “Pelle Coat,” this song is getting its very own music video. While it may not feature Alicia Keys, it still has some cinematic elements to it.

Lil Durk With Another Video

Firstly, the start of the video shows a man in a Gillie suit trying to get into a home. He is on a Ring doorbell cam and is pleading with India Royale to take Durk back. Of course, Royale has already done so, however, this all makes for a very funny music video. Although, if you aren’t really tapped into the drama, then you may not actually care for this short skit. From there, Durk can be seen looking at photos and taking on the world alone whilst pouring his heart out.

Overall, it is another solid video that will certainly drum up some hype for the new album. It is on pace to sell about $150K first week, which is very solid for this day and age. Let us know your thoughts on the video, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the music world.

Tyler, The Creator & A$AP Rocky Spend Time At The Lake In Visual For “WHARF TALK”

Tyler, The Creator is having himself a very good day right now. Overall, there is a very good reason for that as he just dropped Call Me If You Get Lost: The Estate Sale. This is a deluxe edition of his 2021 album, Call Me If You Get Lost. This brand-new offering from Tyler comes complete with eight new songs. Although, two of these songs, “DOGTOOTH” and “SORRY NOT SORRY” are singles that we have already heard. Either way, fans were very excited about the new slate of tracks from the artist.

These eight songs contain a handful of features. One of those features is from A$AP Rocky on the track “WHARF TALK.” Rocky and Tyler are two artists who work exceptionally well together, so it should come as no surprise that they would bless fans with a new collaboration. Subsequently, this song has immediately become one of the most praised efforts on Tyler’s new deluxe album. Thankfully, the two artists are pairing this track with a set of visuals, that was released today.

Tyler, The Creator x A$AP Rocky

Overall, this is the exact kind of music video that one would expect from Tyler, The Creator. Firstly, the video begins with Tyler in an empty green field with gorgeous colors around him. Subsequently, he is transported to a dock near a lake, where he is rapping with Rocky. Consequently, the video finds itself offering up two separate sets of vibes that are both defined by nature. This makes for a visually striking video that suits both of their personalities exceptionally well.

“WHARF TALK” and its resulting visual is yet another example of how Tyler, The Creator has grown as an artist. Hopefully, he gives us something else, very soon. As always, let us know what you think of this music video, in the comments section down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world.

Lil Mosey Celebrates His Freedom With New Single, “Flu Game”

After being acquitted of his recent rape chargesLil Mosey is gracing the scene with more music. With his newfound freedom, the Washington-born entertainer is gearing himself back up for a major return by dropping his newest single, “Flu Game.” Not only is Mosey dodging a prison sentence, but he now gets a chance to redeem his honor in the public eye. The clearing of all charges on March 2nd allowed him to feel confident in dropping his latest track on March 17th.

The highly anticipated song was paired with the release of a music video. In it, Lil Mosey dons a stylish outfit akin to the one Micheal Jordan in his famous 1997 final’s game. The young artist draws lyrical parallels between his struggles with proving his innocence and Jordan’s poor health at the time. Through his heartfelt lyrics, Mosey sings, “Tryna ball like Michael Jordan (Jordan)/ Look at my left wrist, it’s gorgeous (Gorgeous)/ Livin’ the life that I wanted (Wanted)/ .”

Lil Mosey Draws Parallels Between His & Michael Jordan’s Struggles

Throughout his verses, Lil Mosey reflects on the feeling of being trapped in his situation. “They love watchin’ you fall/ And they gon’ try to knock you,” he laments. “When you’re back against the wall (Against the wall).” The verse perfectly encapsulates the feeling of not being able to win. But the track also reflects his feelings of rising above the darkness. He makes a not-so-subtle hint in his last verse, “Winnin’ any case a good feeling.” New listeners might overlook the lyric at first. However, fans of Mosey are definitely going to spot the reference right away.

Lil Mosey teams up with producers SephGotTheWaves, Geo Vocals, and ISM to ensure the song’s excellence. As he spent the last couple of years struggling through a storm, he wanted the best team possible. In his latest Instagram post, he captions a snippet of the video with, “This for my fans, this for the culture!” While he was facing prosecution, Mosey’s biggest fans consistently voiced their support. The artist returns the favor in the best way he can, by continuing to put out great music. Stay tuned to learn more about his upcoming music.
