Cardi B Continues To Regain Her Trademark Confidence On “Enough (Miami)”

It was clear that over the past several months, Cardi B was not in the best mental headspace. Of course, one of the key contributing factors to that was her split with Offset. Additionally, her actions on social media were also hard to stomach for most people. But it seems that the New York superstar has been slowly finding herself again and having fun making music. Case and point, Cardi B’s newest track “Enough (Miami).”

This comes two weeks after her initial comeback with “Like What (Freestyle).” That single has been a hit with fans so far, racking up over nine million views and still on the trending for music page on YouTube. With “Enough (Miami),” Cardi B is showcasing a similar formula, which is be undeniably confident. Like we said earlier, she has been rebuilding herself, so the energy both songs have been giving makes sense.

Listen To “Enough (Miami)” By Cardi B

However, there is an even more aggressive fervor to Cardi’s track. The beat, crafted by OG Parker, Romano, and DJ SwanQo, is darker and punchier. Part of the reason that is because Cardi sampled Missy Elliott’s “She’s a B****” on “Like What,” which has a more rhythmic feeling. The gritty femcee is giving this track her all with fast flows, some funny and hard-hitting bars, and of course, her confident energy.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “Enough (Miami),” by Cardi B? Is this a stronger track than “Like What (Freestyle),” why or why not? What is your favorite element of the song and why? Do you think we are getting her next album this year? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Cardi B. Cardi B Turns Heads & Riles Fans Up With Provocative “Enough” Music Video

Cardi B is back with a new single “Enough (Miami),” continuing her recent hype for her upcoming and long-awaited album. While not everyone’s a fan of the song, there are plenty of people discussing the fiery, well-composed, and often provocative nature of its music video. Moreover, there’s a lot of scantily-clad outfit changes, suggestive posing, and attitude through both the body language and the lyrics that take things in a pretty lewd direction. It’s not a surprising move considering this catalog, but one that still aims to spark conversation regardless and, hopefully for their team, get more and more people excited for this upcoming LP.

Furthermore, the Bronx rapper is also dealing with some fallout thanks to a debate provoked by her comments on relationships. In fact, it doesn’t really have much to do with the relationship part, as she simply just said that she believes in a couple splitting all expenses 50/50. Rather, Cardi B remarked that she’s “not a feminist anymore,” and this is what caused a lot of people to push back and demand a more elaborate explanation. However, in all likelihood, she probably didn’t mean this as a direct attack on feminism as a whole, and it might just be a generalized comment for this specific relationship situation.

Regardless of all that, the 31-year-old is having quite the busy week, as Flo Milli also recently teased that she, Bardi, and SZA will all join forces on the remix of her hit “Never Lose Me.” We’re not used to getting so much material in such a short span of time, and if you’re part of the Gang, you’re probably buzzing with excitement right now. Hopefully this prolific streak is something that can continue throughout 2024. After all, it would certainly be making up for lost time.

Meanwhile, what did you think of this new music video from the “Bongos” hitmaker? Does she still have that provocative edge or will she have to focus on something else for her new rollout? Whatever the case, let us know your thoughts down in the comments section below. Also, come back to HNHH for the latest news and more updates on Cardi B.

Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign Showcase Violent Imagery In CGI Music Video For “CARNIVAL”

Since VULTURES 1 by Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign was beginning to be rolled out, we have received four sets of visuals. The first of which was revealed to us on Instagram for “TALKING” featuring Ye’s oldest child, North West. Following that, two versions of “VULTURES,” “Havoc Version” and “Juice Version,” got unique imagery. Now, after going number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, “CARNIVAL” gets the music video treatment.

Of course, this cut features Playboi Carti and Rich The Kid, and they have helped turn this record into a fan favorite. Its wild chanting backup vocalists paired with the EDM/trap beat is certainly a unique mix of textures and sonics. But it has won fans over in a hurry, being out for just over a month now. Additionally, like most things Kanye does, this video is anything but orthodox.

It takes the single cover art and turns it into a scroller-esque set of violent and raging CGI imagery. You will catch a shot of the artwork for “CARNIVAL” near the 20 second mark. Clearly a lot of time and energy was put into this as all of the shots really emulate the vibe of the cut. The song has been an utter success for Kanye, making it his fifth number one track and his first in about 13 years. Additionally, Ty Dolla $ign can say this is number two, while Carti and Rich nabbed their first.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new music video for “CARNIVAL” by Kanye West, Ty Dolla $ign, Rich The Kid, and Playboi Carti? How do you feel about the song going number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart? Who had the best performance on the track? Is it still in your rotation? How do you feel about the CGI approach rather than a traditional video? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Maxo Kream Gives A Touching Tribute To His Father On “No Then You A H*e”

These past couple of weeks have had to be tough for Maxo Kream. The longtime Texas rapper recently lost his father, Emekwanem Biosah Sr., on Sunday February 25. He shared a sad but thankful post on his Instagram, appreciating everything he had taught him throughout their relationship. The rap community came out in droves to support the mourning Maxo and it was great to see them come together and reach out. After letting this settle, he had decided to return by dropping a tribute to his pops with a single. “No Then You A H*e” is a spectral-like track, but it is also beautiful at the same time.

Maxo raps, “Real street legend, to me you was my papa though / Heart attack, a couple stroke, blood pressure, dementia / Papa Maxo was a soldier and through me forever livin’.” “No Then You A H*e,” as we mentioned, has a haunting feeling but it fits the tone to a tee. With its very faint drums and choral-esque vocals, it helps you get lost in the lyrics in a good way.

However, this is not the only solid drop from Maxo Kream lately. He and rising star evilgiane have been cooking up some stuff in the studio. “Bang The Bus” was about what the title says, but it had some inventive production. Furthermore, tracks like “Whatchamacallit” and “Bonecrusher” were both fun collaborations with Luh Tyler and Key Glock, respectively. Hopefully, Maxo can keep this up and deliver an album soon. Our continued condolences go to him and the rest of his family and friends.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “No Then You A H*e,” by Maxo Kream? Is this one of his strongest tracks lately, why or why not? What is your favorite element of the song and why? Nicki Minaj’s Sister Ming Luanli Enters The Industry With First-Ever Music Video

While Nicki Minaj is celebrating her stardom on the Pink Friday 2 world tour, her sister Ming Luanli is forging her own. Moreover, she just released her first-ever music video as a feature on Rakeem Love’s “Do It Again,” a slow, sultry, and nocturnal fusion of rap and R&B with a moody NYC visual. It dropped Friday (March 8) and got assistance from City Help Productions, who also worked on MVs from Ice Spice and City Girl JT. Also, the video was brought in part by Quantum Swap AI, a crypto exchange that both Luanli and Love co-own in part.

Overall, it’s clear that talent runs pretty thick in the Maraj family. While not everyone was feeling Ming Luanli’s career when she teased new material, that was also the case for Nicki Minaj, and look at her now. As such, we can only expect this career and talent to grow over time, or at least manifest itself in the best possible way to fit her abilities. After all, it seems like Roman’s little sister is already involved in quite a few potential areas of business and entertainment.

However, there are definitely some aspects of the music industry, an established career, and general public-facing celebrity status that she’s not that invested in. For example, readers already know that the Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion beef exploded in full this year, and Ming wants nothing to do with it. “Whatever beef that’s going on, I really don’t give a s**t for it,” she remarked during a livestream on social media. “That got nothing to do with me. S**t, I’m working on my life. I don’t really care about that. I don’t care about that s**t, bro.”

Meanwhile, what do you think about this music video from Ming Luanli and Rakeem Love for “Do It Again”? How far has she come since she laid down her own raps over “Moment 4 Life” just a couple of years ago? However you may feel, drop your thoughts in the comments section down below. TisaKorean Goes Absolutely Wild On New Single “UCCI”: Stream

TisaKorean is hopping back into the rap game in 2024 with his first release of the year, the wild new single “UCCI” and its accompanying music video. The “Rando” entertainer -– known for his rapping, his singing, and his dancing -– came through with an above all vibrant song that feels like ear candy in an almost annoying way, like a lot of great and fun rap songs tend to me. This is thanks to a high-pitched, nasal, and fast-flowing vocal performance that pairs up perfectly with the synth-heavy and rapid trap beat. The chorus melody will definitely get stuck in your head for an unspecified amount of time, and it’s a little over two minutes that wastes no time in kicking things off with a bang and keeping the energy on high for the whole duration.

Furthermore, this is exactly the kind of style that made fans fall in love with the Houston rapper in the first place. For example, earlier cuts like “GRoCERIES” or “Spongy” showed off his personality in a big way, and made his impactful entrance in the game all the more colorful. But TisaKorean’s stayed pretty prolific since then, and with cuts like “UCCI” as our example, it’s clear that he’s having as much fun as ever with his current material. As far as the music video below, it’s pretty much your standard rap video fare with a little more effects and aesthetic variations, plus different camera qualities and perspectives. But the real highlight here is just how effectively he was able to make this simple and almost annoyingly overblown song into something engaging.

Meanwhile, it would be interesting to see the 29-year-old collaborate with other artists for more long-form efforts to push his craft a bit forward. After all, Hope v2 with Sunny Galactic was a nice treat of an EP, and it’s always great to see how artists can pull each other into their worlds. Here’s hoping there’s some more evolution on the way for TisaKorean that’s as fun as “UCCI.” If you haven’t heard this new track yet, find it on your preferred streaming service and check out the music video above. Also, check some notable lines from the cut below and hit the comments section down there with your thoughts as well. Bktherula Goes To The Next Level On New Single & Music Video “THE WAY”: Stream

Bktherula is gearing up for her new album LVL5 P2 next week after its first installment last year, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most creative and vibrant albums of 2024 so far. Moreover, she already dropped the colorful banger “CRAYON” as a single, and now she’s back with perhaps the most overt and extreme display of her range yet. The Atlanta multi-hyphenate just dropped the single and music video “THE WAY,” which follows two women in love on a sunset-adorned coastline, dancing in their home, and eating ice cream by some palm trees. It’s a very sweet visual with a lot of creative animation towards the end and a simple, effective, and gorgeously shot and colored approach.

As for “THE WAY” itself, this is one of Bktherula’s most tender, acoustic, mellow, and structurally unique records in her entire discography. It might remind listeners of previous cuts like “SUMMER” or some material on the LOVE BLACK project, but with some added flair. For one, she mostly delivers refrains here about “the way” and “the light of the room,” with a brief verse longing to stay grounded to humanity and mortality with a special someone despite the sins of themselves, the world, and the forces like drugs that aim to replicate that feeling. Also, the “IT WASN’T ME” rapper’s vocal performance is very warm, and beautifully muted guitar strums, atmospheric synth pads, and what sounds like subtle conga percussion towards the end really makes this an excitingly lush taste of LVL5 P2.

We say “excitingly” because this is the same ferocious MC who brought us “CRAZY GIRL P2” with NBA YoungBoy. She’s always had incredible range, versatility, and talent, but with this new song in mind, we predict that this will be her most all-encompassing and definitive work yet when it comes to her many skills. If you haven’t heard Bktherula’s “THE WAY” yet, find it on your preferred streaming service. Peep the music video above and some notable lyrics below, and make sure to stick around for LVL5 P2, dropping on Friday, March 15. MIKE & Tony Seltzer Pay Homage To UGK On New Single “Underground Kingz”: Stream

MIKE and Tony Seltzer had an incredibly prolific 2023, but it seems like they had no plans of slowing down this year. Moreover, they just dropped another collaborative single exclusively on YouTube paying homage to UGK with the new music video for “Underground Kingz.” They dropped the track “R&B” a couple of weeks ago, and this new visual’s description on the social media platform indicates that there’s more coming. The New Jersey native included the following message: “MIKE & Tony Seltzer – Pinball 3/06.” As such, it seems like we’re getting a full collab album from this duo in just a couple of days on Wednesday (March 6), which is very exciting.

Furthermore, this track definitely adds to that hype with a vibrant, sample-led, and fun beat that speeds up and slows down for a completely different instrumental. In fact, each part of “Underground Kingz” evokes a Bay Area or Detroit bounce to some fast-paced or slower degree, and is also reminiscent of UGK’s Southern roots and artistry. We’re not sure if MIKE and Tony Seltzer actually sampled them for this song, but either way, their tribute came through both sonically and lyrically. Speaking of which, the “Mayors A Cop” lyricist comes through with some really sharp bars here displaying his consistently and mindfully talented pen. On the other hand, the beatsmith cooks up an amazing and cohesive atmosphere for him to ride on.

Meanwhile, the links between these two collaborators are quite curious. MIKE, Wiki, and The Alchemist dropped the project Faith Is A Rock last year, and Tony Seltzer teamed up with Wiki for their 14K Figaro album, also from 2023. As if that wasn’t enough, MIKE dropped his 2023 album Burning Desire, and they’re all excellent listens. Meek Mill & Fivio Foreign Team Up For “Whatever I Want” Music Video

Meek Mill tapped Fivio Foreign to appear in the music video for their collaborative effort, “Whatever I Want,” off of his new EP, Heathenism. Kid Art handled the direction for the upbeat video. In the comments of the YouTube post for the piece, Meek wrote: “We shot this vid to 7am it was just a fun day recorded by the scientist kid art!”

Fivio previously came to Meek’s defense, last week, amid rumors that the Philadelphia rapper slept with Diddy. “The streets ah never a weird industry n***a take out a n***a like meek..,” Foreign tweeted. “He do too much for the trenches. We gon hold each other down from now on it’s 2024.. It’s Blue World Order.”

In another post, he added: “Don’t tell me stop responding do something!” Check out Meek and Fivio’s video below.

Fivio isn’t the only rapper Meek teamed up with for the project either. He also worked with Future, although Meek’s promotion of that collaboration prompted more questions about his sexuality online. Sharing Future’s verse, he wrote: “When @1future sent his verse back to me on this I said what you tryna do to meeeeee Pluto lol.” Fans were quick to troll him for the wording of the shout-out. Sexyy Red & Summer Walker Tap Lil Scrappy For New “I Might” Music Video: Watch

Sexyy Red isn’t slowing down in 2024, it seems, as not even childbirth could keep her down for a music video shoot. Moreover, her (and her baby bump) star alongside Lil Scrappy, Summer Walker, and more in the new visual for “I Might,” featuring the latter as a guest artist. For those unaware, this rap/R&B fusion appeared on the deluxe version of the St. Louis rapper’s breakout album Hood Hottest Princess. It’s a romantic tale about lust that still deals with the fallout of another relationship, and this new short film parallels that story quite well and invokes a lot of colorful settings, tropes, and narrative moments that make it a pretty engaging throwback vibe.

Of course, this is not Sexyy Red’s first music video of the year, with that fact attributed to “Rich Baby Daddy” with Drake and SZA. That cut ended up on the Canadian superstar’s 2023 album For All The Dogs, and was definitely among the most fun songs to release last year in the hip-hop mainstream. Fittingly, its visual treatment is also pretty cheeky, as it portrays the “Pound Town” hitmaker and the 6ix God as a couple with some comical interactions. However, this definitely doesn’t answer the question of whether we’ll get more long-form new music from her this year, but that’s a pretty easy code to crack.

Sexyy Red’s “I Might” With Summer Walker: Watch The Music Video

After all, Sexyy Red recently teased some new material on social media, and if you’re not already a fan, it won’t convert you. But it doesn’t have to, because it’s clear that she’s building her following and artistry based on some pretty simple but salient core ideas. Say what you will about the content matter within, but it’s a wild double standard to pretend like it’s much raunchier than most other mainstream rap right now. Maybe one day, we’ll get the genre diversion that some fans think is warranted, and we’ll see for sure whether it was the right call.

Meanwhile, what do you think about this new music video for “I Might” from the “Somethin’” spitter and Summer Walker? Are you looking forward to new music from them coming soon?
