Juvenile Commemorates 25 Years Of “400 Degreez” With New Music Video

1990s Southern hip-hop star Juvenile had one of the hottest records in the latter part of that decade. 400 Degreez is his most popular offering of his career and is an essential tape from that era. It is currently four times platinum by the RIAA and has some of the New Orleans native’s biggest hits. “Back That Azz Up,” “Ha,” and the title track are the most popular in terms of streaming as of now. However, the latter of them, “400 Degreez,” has just received the music video treatment over two decades later.

According to HipHopNMore, Juvenile decided to make this move to help celebrate the song and record’s 25th anniversary. Furthermore, the rapper is going to be dropping a deluxe edition digitally and physically. The streaming version will hit platforms this Friday, March 29. However, vinyl fans will have a little while longer.

It is a double LP with orange-colored discs and that will release on April 26. However, neither listener will be left out in terms of the bonus content. Like most of his releases, especially as of late, YB has put the single on YouTube only. And once again, the track is already receiving a ton of views, with well over 400,000 in its first 17 hours. However, fans in his Instagram comments underneath his two latest posts about “Catch Him” have not been glowing. One person writes, “N**** must have gotten cloned bc this definitely not hitting I can’t be the only one ” Another chimes in, “Nah man you starting to lose me.”

We can see why a majority of people are feeling this type of way about it. NBA YoungBoy’s voice is way too overpowering in the mix and his cadence is all over the place. Future, Metro Boomin, & The Weeknd Reunite Once Again For “Young Metro” Music Video

Future and Metro Boomin’s collaborative project WE DON’T TRUST YOU has been out for a full weekend now and fans messing with it heavily. While we feel there are some sleepier and just meh moments on it, it is definitely a solid listen. Of course, everyone on the internet cannot stop discussing Kendrick Lamar’s wild appearance on “Like That.” Drake has somewhat responded to the chatter around it in typical fashion, but still crickets from J. Cole. But do not let this song distract you from the fact that there is plenty of other hot tracks on the LP. For example, “Young Metro” is one to keep your eye on, as the music video is out now.

During the weekend, the features were hidden from us, so it was really cool to hear The Weeknd appear, albeit minimally. It was especially surprising (or maybe not) to hear him do a feature after he said he would not be doing anymore. Clearly, Future and Metro know that this will be one of the hits from the record with “Young Metro” being the second track to get a music video. After watching the “Type S***” visuals, it is clear what the direction for the tone is.

The “Young Metro” video sports some trippy, mysterious and dark shots all throughout. Hidji World and Omar Jones are credited as the directors, and they bring some cool edits into the mix. Overall, the visuals and song itself are both very good and it figures to be one of the go-to moments from WE DON’T TRUST YOU.

Lil Mabu is an artist who has brought forth a ton of controversy since bursting onto the scene. Overall, there is a very good reason for this. He is a kid who has co-opted the Brooklyn Drill sound. Moreover, it has been revealed that he went to a prep school in New York and that his dad has a lot of money. Essentially, he is making music because his family has the funds to bankroll him. Additionally, he gets into a lot of viral antics, so it only makes his racket that much bigger. One could just look at his Fivio Foreign music video to understand what we mean.

Another controversial person is Lil RT. He is a young kid who has been linking up with some famous artists. Although his parents seem to be okay with what he is doing, many have criticized his involvement with people who are much older than him. Not to mention, he has been speaking about topics that a child should simply not be engaging in. His childhood is being taken from him, and most don’t approve. However, that has not stopped Lil Mabu from linking up with Lil RT, as you can see below.

In fact, the video below depicts Lil Mabu and Lil RT in Atlanta as they film the music video for “BIG DOG SH*T.” However, Mabu got spooked as he heard a gun shot in the distance. A security guard who was with him told him to relax, and he did so in the calmest way possible. The shot sounded as though it was far away, but that doesn’t make it any less scary. Whether or not it was staged to make Mabu go viral, remains to be seen.
