Fortunately, its leading MC Treach recently appeared on Drink Champs to provide some of this context and history. Moreover, he told N.O.R.E., DJ EFN, and the rest of the crew about his career history, his influence in the game, and his many collabs and friendships across the East and West Coasts, whether it’s with Biggie Smalls or with Tupac. Of course, they also had time to address wild tour stories, aliens, and other fun topics.

Even though he might not be the biggest household name these days, the New Jersey native holds a lot of respect within hip-hop. Whether it’s through his work with other legends or his presence and knowledge in the culture, he has quite the impressive resumé. Sure, there are also the parts of this story that fall more into the gossip side of things, especially with recent revelations. For example, Will Smith was scared to go on a date with Pepa because she and Treach were on a break at the time. Needless to say, the actor didn’t really want that smoke with him, both out of respect and fear for his life.

While that story paints the “5 Deadly Venomz” rapper in more of an aggressive light, there’s clearly been a lot of growth since then. Tyler, The Creator’s New Nardwuar Interview: His Festival, Influences & More

Tyler, The Creator and everyone’s favorite Internet interview sleuth, Nardwuar, go way back- at least over twelve years, in fact. As such, it’s always heartening to see them link up, because few figures are so perfect for each other’s brand, passions, vibes, and humor. Moreover, the two linked up for their fifth interview at the rapper’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival in Los Angeles. Backstage, they chopped it up about their history, the festival, Tyler’s influences, the gifts that The Human Serviette had for him, and so much more. We won’t spoil the whole thing for you, though; few music media treats are as wholesome and compelling as a Narduwar interview first-watch.

However, something from this interview that lit the Internet up was Tyler, The Creator’s comments on music journalism. “We’re at a point where a musician talking in detail about music and people are like ‘Why does he keep doing that?’” he remarked. “But if I was on here gossiping, people would feed into it. We need to get back to talking about music. We need to stop f***ing going sneaker shopping or deep-throating chicken wings for an hour.”

Of course, this made many people come to the media’s defense, particularly for Sean Evans of Hot Ones, while others completely agree with the “WHARF TALK” creative. A few hours after these comments started to make rounds on social media, Tyler, The Creator clarified that he doesn’t hold any hard feelings for Hot Ones and wishes that he would’ve used a different example. After all, he agrees that shows like this are not the problem, and actually has other podcasts or programs that he actually dislikes. Overall, it seems like the Hawthorne native just wants more of a balance between deep conversation and some fun.

Few artists fall into that “fun” bag as organically, respectfully, and interestingly as Nardwuar, so it’s clear that having less serious discussion isn’t the issue here. I mean, we’re talking about Mr. “So you just gon’ bring me a birthday gift on my birthday to my birthday party on my birthday with a birthday gift?” here. Even if people may think he has a big ego- and he would agree– it’s because of how passionate he is and how he wants to talk about his love of music, not about whatever Twitter is up in arms about. Amber Rose On Wiz Khalifa Breakup: “I Cried For Three Years Straight”

Sure, things aren’t squeaky-clean perfect, but their coparenting bond, love for each other, and admission of their wrongs is a wholesome contrast to their split. During a recent interview with Adam22 and Lena The Plug on No Jumper, the model explained how their breakup was very hard for her. Not only was it a long process, but you can tell that it was also born out of mutual love and an acknowledgement that things just weren’t going to work.

“With Wiz, I cried for, like, three years straight [following the split],” Amber Rose recalled. The three were discussing how letting go of relationships is sometimes easy, something that people look forward to, or something that folks relish in the moment. But she explained that things weren’t that simple for them, especially since they had a child to take care of that elongated the leftover feelings and healing process. “No, for Wiz, for sure. That was the love of my life. That’s why I said I can’t apply that to Wiz. But yeah, I cried for, I used to just sit in the shower and be like, f**k.”

Meanwhile, this is part of what Wiz Khalifa said of his relationship with Amber Rose during a recent Drink Champs appearance. “We’re like the ideal couple, even though we’re not together,” he explained. “We share the most beautiful thing in life, we have a kid. We got great memories, we were married. So everything we did was out of pure love, you know what I’m saying? We planned on being with each other forever. But, you know, that s**t gets difficult. And I think with marriage, with legal marriage, it kind of sucks because that has to be the end of something when that’s over. But I think we’re proving that it’s not the end of everything, even when that legal s**t is over.

Travis Scott Pursued Being A Kidney Doctor Before Music

During his recent interview with GQ, Travis Scott hinted at wanting to pursue a degree in architectural design at Harvard University. However, that’s wasn’t necessarily his first love in the world of academia, and in that conversation, he alluded to what he initially wanted to do with his life. Moreover, La Flame recalled his grammar school days, specifically a time when he slept over at a friend’s house. There, he met his uncle, a man who he found to be very successful and fulfilled. As such, the Houston rapper couldn’t help but ask what he did for a living, and his answer gave him one of his first career aspirations: a kidney doctor.

“We went to his crib,” Travis Scott remarked. “His crib was cr*zy. I’ve never seen a crib like this. It was OD. His dad was an ob-gyn. And I remember his uncle was at the house, and I asked his uncle, I was like, ‘What do you do?’ And he’s like, ‘I’m a nephrologist.’ He told me what it was, and I was like, ‘Yo, it’s cr*zy.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, I want to be that.’

“I don’t know why being a kidney doctor was just such… I think it was his swag,” Travis Scott explained. “Like, his whole swag was just, like, he was fresh. I don’t know. It was the idea of just, like, saving people at the time was dope. I used to go and shadow at the hospitals [during his college days at the University of Texas in San Antonio]. So I fell in love with it more there, just the whole process of it all. I wanted to own my own practice, know the business side of it, do the medicine side of it.”

Karlissa Saffold, Blueface’s mother, recently spilled a lot of beans on his life and upbringing during an interview with Jason Lee on his show, published on Wednesday (November 15). Moreover, it contained a lot of claims concerning her personal life and sexuality, her feuds with the mothers of her son’s children, and a whole lot more. Understandably, a lot of this didn’t sit well with him, even if he played it off in a pretty aloof way on social media. When these clips started to make rounds online, the California rapper took to Twitter to voice some discontent with his mom’s assessments.

“Karlissa why is you telling this sad a** story I like being disliked,” Blueface tweeted on Wednesday night. As such, he suggested that his mother painted his struggles in too much of a negative light when he’s actually becoming very successful and profitable as a result of his antics and obsessions with his behavior. For example, former Bad Boy bodyguard Gene Deal spoke to The Art Of Dialogue on Thursday (October 26) about this debacle. He didn’t claim to have any solid information on whether Puff did anything, but he knows that his client knew Duane “Keefe D” Davis, the main suspect in the case who is currently in custody and accused of taking orders from the mogul in many’s eyes in the rap community.

“Keefe D, I’ve seen him a number of times,” the security guard expressed. “[He and Diddy] were gambling together, they were drinking together, they had fun, they was hanging out in hotels. Yes, they did have a relationship. As far as me having any information whether he commissioned Keefe D to do a murder, nah bruh, that ain’t me. They can ask me, did I see Keefe D? Yes, I did. Apparently, there was once a time during which Blue Ivy didn’t see her dad as “cool,” and he confessed that things have changed. While it’s bizarre for us to think of the Brooklyn MC as anything less than that, we’ve also never had to hear him tell us to do our homework, so the young dancer has a very unique perspective.

“Do your kids think you’re cool?” King asked Jay-Z. “Um, Blue, she be fronting on me a little bit,” he confessed. “But she… I catch her, I catch her in the corner, you know?
