Lil Uzi Vert Takes Unique Approach To Teasing “Eternal Atake 2”

Lil Uzi Vert continues to prepare for the release of their highly anticipated new project, Eternal Atake 2. Today, they even updated their album covers on Apple Music, which now feature its logo. While a release date for the project has yet to be confirmed, this latest hint has fans speculating that it could drop sooner rather than later.

“Bro dropping sooner than I thought,” one Twitter/X user theorizes in Kurrco‘s replies. “LETS GOOOO,” another writes. Uzi’s unusual teaser also arrives just after the release of their new 30-second song, “Uzi the Earthling! (The TV Theme).” The song features no rapping and appears to be a theme song for a non-existent show.

Lil Uzi Vert’s Album Covers Now Feature Eternal Atake 2 Logos On Apple Music

This too led fans to believe that the album is dropping sometime in the near future. It’s even rumored that Uzi has been finished with the project for some time now, and was planning on releasing it earlier this month before it got delayed. Reportedly, they were spotted filming the trailer for the project in New York City last week. Only time will tell when fans will finally get to hear Eternal Atake 2, which they’ve been waiting on for years now.

The teaser also arrives a few weeks after Uzi sparked concern due to their behavior in an interview. The bizarre conversation quickly led to speculation that they could allegedly be abusing drugs, as they appeared to be all over the place. This is unconfirmed. What do you think of Lil Uzi Vert updating their cover art on Apple Music to feature the Eternal Atake 2 logo? Do you think this means it will be released sometime soon or not? Are you looking forward to hearing it whenever it’s finally unveiled? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

DC The Don Makes Some Bold But Accurate Proclamations On His New “REBIRTH” Album

Los Angeles, California rapper by way of Milwaukee, DC The Don, has been making waves in the underground scene for a few years. He’s slowly been building his vision and his soundscape, which is a mixture of emo rap, R&B, trap, rage, and more. With every release, it seems that the 25-year-old is becoming more detail-oriented and mature. Sure, there’s going to be some carefree and ignorant tracks going forward (there are some on his new album), but overall, he’s growing exponentially. That is something that can be said about DC The Don on REBIRTH.

He’s recognized this himself, but he’s also noticed how the listeners are picking up on it. DC talked about in his recent interview with Our Generation Music, saying, “People are starting to realize that everything I’m dropping is high quality. My fans knew that, but I think now exposure is different. I think that moment (speaking on the REBIRTH single “VENUS”) allowed people to understand that people hear from me it won’t be some bulls***.” We certainly agree with them because there really isn’t much filler whatsoever on this 18-song set. You are getting a nice mixture of atmospheres, but yet they all come across as cohesive. Without much of a doubt, this is DC’s strongest effort to date.

Kanye West has shared the cover artwork for his next solo studio album, Bully, on Instagram. The artwork is credited to Daidō Moriyama. It comes after he premiered the first single from the project, “Beauty & the Beast,” at a listening event for Vultures in China, earlier this month.

West announced Bully during the Vultures listening party at Wuyuan River Stadium in Haikou, Hainan, earlier this month. Journalist Touré has since provided some insight into the project, taking to Instagram to reveal that Kanye is reportedly living in Tokyo to record the album. “He’s recording the album in the hotel room. Like, all the machines are set up in the hotel room,” Touré said. “It’s a concept album and he plans to be the only producer on it. Traditionally, Kanye is the product of a team, there are producers helping him, there are writers helping him, he comes with the big ideas but there’s others in. Not this time. This time, Kanye is gonna make this pretty much by himself. A fresh chapter in his life because in Tokyo he can be who he wants to be.”

West has yet to announce an official release date for the project, but it comes as he continues to prepare for a third installment in the Vultures trilogy with Ty Dolla Sign as well. TisaKorean Lives Up To The Title Of New Album “In Silly We Trust”

TisaKorean doesn’t take himself too seriously. The biggest advantage he has is the willingness to attempt vocal inflections and say things that his peers wouldn’t. It’s the reason his songs go viral, and the reason that the title of his new album, In Silly We Trust, is so fitting. The eccentric rapper dishes out 12 songs in only 21 minutes, knowing good and well that his schtick would wear thin over a typically bloated rap tape. The sparseness of In Silly We Trust not only makes it easier to listen to, but it makes the material that is here all the more potent.

TisaKorean is not one for dense wordplay. He does, have a Playboi Carti-esque gift for vocal melody that makes everything he says sound catchy. It’s anybody’s guess what the rapper is saying on “IEgs In tHe aIr,” but the beat is infectious and the hook is ridiculously smooth. It’s one of the more subdued songs on the album, but its solid execution still allows it to stand out. “SiLlY SuRf,” conversely, is an absurd piece of snap rap that sounds like it was unearthed from a 2006 D4L session. TisaKorean is able to churn out borderline parody songs, and then turn out a genuinely smooth R&B cut alongside Don Toliver on “lOvE LeTtEr.” The man’s got range.

Jean Dawson Breaks Down Genre Boundaries With “Glimmer Of God”

Jean Dawson has always blurred genre lines. He broke through as a rapper, but the more confident he’s become as a songwriter, the more experimental his albums have gotten. It was difficult to imagine a tape being more sonically adventurous than 2022’s CHAOS* NOW, but Jean Dawson has done it. Glimmer of God, the artist’s fourth LP, is a mesmerizing blend of sounds from different eras and genres. The opener, “Darlin,” is a bit misleading in this regard. It’s a beautiful, funk-tinged ballad. Pretty quickly, though, Jean Dawson drops the niceties and plunges the viewer into the manic “Black Sugar.”

The song feels like a hybrid of Black Messiah-era D’Angelo and Yeezus-era Kanye West. Take our word for it, the combination of the former’s crunchy instrumentation and the latter’s manic pace miraculously coalesce into a wonderful third sound. The rest of Glimmer of God follows suit. Jean Dawson is the rare artist who can pull influence from multiple artists while still maintaining his signature sound. “Slow Heavy Ecstasy” sees the artist try his hand at Playboi Carti-style rage music, while “The Boy and the Swan” is one of the best Frank Ocean songs you’ve never heard. Dawson even croons in Spanish on the elegant ballad “Murcielago.” There’s something for everyone here.

Yeat Delivers His Most Focused Album To Date With “LYFSTYLE”

Yeat is onto something. The rapper broke out in a big way with 2093, and now he’s back with a new batch of songs in less than a year. He confirmed to The Fader that LYFESTYLE was an attempt to lean into his rap side, and now that we have the album, we can confirm this is the case. Don’t worry, the wild rage elements that made Yeat such a sensation to begin with are still here. “SPEEDBALL” and “LYING 5 FUN” are peppered with the frantic synths and Autotuned riffs thats characterized 2093. The thing that helps distinguish LYFESTYLE, though, is the way Yeat plays off his collaborators.

The title track fuses a rage style instrumental with knocking drums more akin to a trap song. This blend of sounds is complimented by Yeat and Lil Durk swapping verses. These two do not really gel on paper, but they sound fantastic together. Don Toliver also shines on “NEW HIGH.” It turns out that Toliver really sounds like his mentor, Travis Scott, when his voice is given the distorted Yeat treatment. “NEW HIGH” has one of the best grooves on the whole album. On the solo front, “SO WHAT” and “GEEK TIME” are showcases for Yeek’s wildest vocal inflections. There’s a lot of music here, and fans are going to love it.

Let us know what you think of this brand new album, in the comments section down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will continue to keep you informed on all of your favorite artists and their upcoming projects.

Pi’erre Bourne Admits That “Made In Paris” Album Delay Is His Fault

Pi’erre Bourne has been teasing Made In Paris for close to a year. The producer has been dropping hints and teasing songs from the album since January. A quick scroll through the Made In Paris link on Genius shows over 25 leaked songs. We’re going to be getting a Tyler, The Creator album we didn’t even know existed before this week, sooner. Fans have been frustrated, and Pi’erre Bourne decided to break his silence on the matter. He hopped on Twitter and set the record straight.

Most artists would put the blame on the record label, or the fans who have leaked songs online. Bourne didn’t do that. He decided to own up and take responsibility for the fact that Made In Paris does not yet have a release date. The whole interaction actually stemmed from an interaction in which a fan voiced frustration with the label. Pi’erre Bourne clarified that the label has not made anything difficult for him, and that the album delay has been his doing. Plain and simple.

Pi’erre Bourne Claimed He’s Been Burned Out

“I really just got tired From traveling, shooting photo and videos,” the producer wrote. “Mixing album, going to fashion events same day and not sleeping.” Pi’erre Bourne noted that someone like Kanye West can pull such a demanding lifestyle off, but he cannot. He also noted that the polarizing superstar has a lot more help than he does. “Ye do it,” he added. “But he always surround himself with a great team in whatever setting. That’s all that I’m really missing. It’s not on the label. It’s me.”

ASAP Rocky Roasts Tyler, The Creator Over “CHROMAKOPIA” Album Cover

ASAP Rocky and Tyler, The Creator came from different worlds. The former a New York rapper raised on Dipset and Bone-Thugs. The latter a California prodigy who grew up on Pharrell and Kanye West. They’re an odd pairing on paper, and yet they’ve been friends and collaborators for a decade. Tyler, The Creator recently unveiled the title and cover art for his new album, CHROMAKOPIA. The art was praised by fans and hip hop outlets alike for its striking design. ASAP Rocky, on the other hand, decided to have fun with his OF brother.

ASAP Rocky went in the comment section of Tyler’s announcement post and clowned the rapper’s looks. “UGLY N***A B LOL,” he wrote. A comment like this would usually be grounds for a social media beef, but Rocky and Tyler have a sense of humor predicated on roasting. Besides, looks and style are big parts of both of their brands. ASAP Rocky literally branded himself “Pretty Flacko” early on in his career, and has spent the last decade as more of a fashion staple than a rapper. Tyler’s style differs from Rocky’s, but he has actually struck a better balance between music and fashion.

ASAP Rocky Clowned Tyler, The Creator’s Looks

Don’t believe us? Tyler, The Creator has dropped two albums since ASAP Rocky’s Testing in 2018. The release date for CHROMAKOPIA is also before Rocky’s upcoming release, Don’t Be Dumb. This means the Odd Future icon will have tripled Rocky’s output over the last eight years. This stat was not lost on fans, who proceeded to pester the ASAP Mob standout for an album update. Don’t Be Dumb was set to drop August 30, but the rapper told Billboard that it had been delayed due to sample clearances. He also pointed to internet leaks as an ongoing issue during recording sessions.

ASAP Rocky is back up and recording, though, as evidenced by the singles he’s dropped over the last few months. He was on the deluxe version of Tyler, The Creator’s last album, Call Me If You Get Lost. He also delivered a standout verse on the Flower Boy song “Who Dat Boy.” It’d be ideal if Rocky could hop on CHROMAKOPIA and Tyler could return the favor on Don’t Be Dumb. We will see if it actually happens.

Yeat Reveals Stacked Features For Upcoming Album “LYFESTYLE”

Yeat’s buzz is bigger than ever. The rapper has been steadily building his following up, and refining his sound. LYFESTYLE, his upcoming album, is poised to be his commercial breakthrough, though. All the information we’ve heard surrounding the album has only served to increase the excitement for what’s to come. Yeat recently sat down for an interview with The Fader, and he not only spoke on the sound of the album, but released the list of artists who will feature. It’s about time.

Yeat already released the tracklist for LYFESTYLE, which sits at 21 songs, but the features were initially hidden. It was assumed that we would all have to wait until the album dropped to find out who was on the album, and who wound up on the cutting room floor. Thankfully, Yeat took mercy on us and revealed who will appear. The list did not disappoint. Yeat will have guest features from rap superstars like Kodak Black and Lil Durk. There will also be hooks from Don Toliver and acts like Summrs and Lazer Dim 700. Yeat is known for his rage style, which often blurs genre lines, but he told The Fader that he’s going full hip hop this time around.

Yeat Will Focus On Rap Collabs For His New Album

LYFESTYLE [is] basically just my normal rap sh*t,” Yeat explained. “It’s not futuristic, it’s not like a whole different world. It’s the most polished I’ve ever came with the rap sh*t.” The features Yeat chose serve to support this narrative. Lil Durk, Kodak and Don Toliver are some of the most conventional rappers that he has worked with to date. Yeat has worked with stars like Drake before, but even then, the 6 God adapted to his rage style. It’ll be fascinating to hear how people like Durk and Kodak sounds on Yeat beats.

Those who prefer Yeat’s more experimental sound needn’t worry. The rapper told the outlet that his next album is already in the works. It will departure from LYFESTYLE in that it will sound like a refined version of 2093. “I don’t know when it’s going to come out, but it’s kind of like 2093,” he noted. “But a lot more refined. We’ve been spending a lot of time creating that sound in tandem with the LYFESTYLE sound for a couple months.” We can’t wait to hear it all.

Tyler The Creator Drops “CHROMAKOPIA” Release Date & Cover Art

Tyler The Creator shocked the world by teasing his new album CHROMAKOPIA yesterday (Wednesday, October 16), and in true Tyler fashion, he didn’t take long to deliver on the hype. He just announced that the album will drop on Monday, October 28, an exciting and curious decision due to this being a Monday release. Also, the Hawthorne creative unveiled what is presumably the cover art for the new LP: a picture of the unnamed, mysterious character featured in the visual tease. Whatever’s on the way, fans everywhere can’t wait to hear what world he transports them to next.

Of course, there are a lot of fan theories floating around as to Tyler, The Creator and his possible next vision and era. Some online users are already comparing the aesthetics of CHROMAKOPIA to other T releases such as IGOR and even CHERRY BOMB when it comes to the teased “ST. CHROMA” snippet from yesterday’s visual. The “VIRGINIA BOY” remixer is known for his quasi-conceptual or full-on narrative work, and with a new color palette, persona, and sonic style, it looks like we’re getting another record in that vein.

Tyler The Creator Unveils CHROMAKOPIA Release Date & Artwork

However, that’s the great thing about a Tyler, The Creator album: you don’t really know what to expect until the whole thing lands on your lap. If you’re excited to rep CHROMAKOPIA and support the rollout, pre-order bundles with CDs and commemorative boxes are now available, and you can click right here to get your merch. These include hoodies, T-shirts, hats, and more. Still, as surprising as this whole thing is, maybe we should’ve seen it coming when the multi-hyphenate complained about annoying fans asking for the album recently. Little did we know…

Meanwhile, there are also other projects on the horizon for Tyler The Creator that have other fans feeling just as excited. We’re talking about his role in an A24 film alongside Timothée Chalamet and Gwyneth Paltrow, under the direction of Josh Safdie. Marty Supreme is shaping up to be great, but CHROMAKOPIA has energized fans in the way that only a new era and album could. We’ll hear what Tyler shares with the world on October 28… Maybe a lead single is coming soon?
