Kanye West Is Reportedly Making Songs At A Rapid Pace Amid New Album Rumors

Kanye West has been in Italy for the last couple of months, or at least it has seemed that way. Overall, a lot of his moves in the country have been made public thanks to the paparazzi. Furthermore, he is constantly being seen alongside his wife, Bianca Censori. These two have certainly made a splash in the media, and a lot of rumors have come with that. Some say Kanye is controlling Censori, while others have noted that Censori allegedly just thinks her friends are jealous.

However, in the midst of all of this, it has also been reported that Kanye is working on a brand-new album. This comes as a bit of a surprise to fans when you consider all that has happened over the past year. Of course, he went on those anti-Semitic rants that had people swearing off Ye. That said, Kanye has always been able to avoid cancelation, regardless of what he does. This will definitely be put to the test with a new project.

Doja Cat’s “Scarlet” Sales Projection Jumps To Over 60k

Doja Cat’s fourth studio album, Scarlet, is now projected to move between 60,000-70,000 units in its first week, according to HitsDailyDouble. The bump is reportedly being bolstered by her “Agora Hills” track, which has climbed up to No. 6 on the Spotify U.S. chart and is following a similar trajectory on Apple Music. Even so, the new album likely won’t reach the top of the Billboard 200.

The figure is also a far cry from her previous effort, Planet Her, which debuted with 109,000 units and a spot at No. 2 on the chart when it released in 2021. Prior to that, Doja’s debut studio album, Amala, peaked at No. 138 in 2018 while her sophomore effort, Hot Pink, reached as high as No. 9.

Doja recently discussed the meaning of the controversial cover art for the album while going back and forth with fans over its merits on social media. She explained it’s representative of her overcoming her fears, including how he fans feel about her. “The art I chose for my album is beautiful and I like it a lot,” she revealed on Twitter. “The two spiders signify conquering your fear. None of my album covers had meaning until this album. You not accepting me was a fear I used to have. I don’t care anymore about satisfying you.” Check out the new music video for “Agora Hills” below.

Doja Cat Shares Painting She Made For Fans To Instagram

Over the weekend, Doja Cat released her fourth studio album Scarlet amid a wave of controversy. For months she had been dealing with backlash from fans online for her embrace of demonic and satanic imagery. She also picked a fight with some of her diehard fans after taking issue with their identity as “Kittenz.” The combined controversies caused the singer to lose hundreds of thousands of social media followers but it doesn’t seem to have stopped her commercial momentum. The second single from Scarlet “Paint The Town Red” hit number one on the Hot 100 earlier this month and is still parked at the number two spot.

Throughout the weekend Doja teased and promoted her new project through various methods. That began with the release of a music video for the record’s newest single “Agora Hills.” The song translated with many fans right away and it’s clear that Doja knew it would because she had the accompanying video ready to go. She shared a new line of merch with fans that poked fun at the entire Kittenz controversy. Shirts included had not just the “Kittenz” name but also one that said “Recovering Doja Cat Fan.”

Doja Cat Shows Off Her Devil Painting

Now, Doja Cat shared a new photo dump with her fans recapping some of the weekend’s events. Included in the pictures are Doja’s charming devil outfit and progress pictures of her painting. At the event, she stood in a mostly glass room while fans outside watched her work. She first painted a red and black painting of the devil before turning around and painting the glass separating her from fans with big streaks of red paint.

Early sales reports for Scarlet are pretty impressive. They initially predicted the album to debut in the top 10 before bumping that up even higher into the top 5. What do you think of Doja Cat painting a devil live in front of her fans? Let us know in the comment section below.

ShittyBoyz Finalize Their Collaborative Series With New Album “Trifecta 3: The Finale”

If you’re caught up with Detroit hip-hop, then the name ShittyBoyz should hold a special place in your heart. Moreover, the trio consisting of BabyTron, TrDee, and StanWill aren’t just prolific, but also endlessly entertaining with vibrant, fast beats, rapid-fire flows, and comical punchlines. While each artist is on their own path (Tron dropped various projects this year, including the 6 mixtape), their chemistry is often too good to pass up. As such, they just dropped Trifecta 3: The Finale, the last installment in their series of collaborative Trifecta projects. Hopefully that doesn’t mean that they won’t drop more full-lengths together in the future.

After all, their similar vocal tones and styles make this quite the consistent and straightforward listen. The more you tune in, you start to distinguish more elements between each of the ShittyBoyz while picking up their bars. What’s more is that it’s not all just non-stop spitting: tracks like “Mosh Pit” harden their drum tones to make more of a… well, mosh pit banger. It’s quite the lengthy LP at 20 tracks total, but features from Bfb Da Packman, YSR Gramz, and GrindHard E refresh the pallet towards the end.

Either way, there are a lot of moments for each MC here to shine, so hardcore fans will enjoy picking apart these verses and performances. Detroit is a fantastic scene for rap right now across many styles, and BabyTron, TrDee, and GrindHard E are among the faces at the forefront of this movement. If you haven’t heard Trifecta 3 yet, find it on your preferred streaming service and peep the tracklist below. Also, log back into HNHH for more on ShittyBoyz and the latest great hip-hop releases.

Doja Cat’s “Scarlet” Performers Take Over U.K. Streets As She Breaks A New Spotify Record

Scarlet is finally here, and if there’s anyone in the United Kingdom who didn’t know, they found out the hard way on Saturday (September 23). Moreover, Doja Cat sent out various actors covered from head to toe in red tights and paint to promote the new project. As they dance and make wild faces for the amused crowd, you can hear some of the Los Angeles native’s new tracks in the background. It’s certainly a creative way to create buzz around a new phase in your career, especially such a seemingly dark aesthetic turn. Still, it’s not like the “Paint The Town Red” MC has never played with aesthetics like these before in her music or with her image.

As such, this is actually quite the cool and fitting promo move for Doja Cat, especially in another country outside of her own. Lots of people are probably tired of hearing about her supposed satanic ties in the States, and maybe other nations haven’t caught up yet. Regardless, it’s something that clearly caught passerby’s eyes, as you can see people pulling out their phones as they approach the dancers. Also, with Halloween right around the corner, the move could be the dawn of the spooky season this year for anyone who saw it.

Doja Cat’s “Demons” Roam U.K. Streets

What’s more is that the 27-year-old’s promotional efforts proved to pay off, and will likely continue to do so. According to Chart Data, Doja Cat’s Scarlet officially broke Spotify’s record for the biggest debut for a female artist’s hip-hop album in the platform’s history. This puts her in the same league as titans like Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, and many more superstars. Of course, the hitmaker was already in that conversation, but this is just adding a little extra proof to silence any doubters.

Scarlet Enters The Spotify History Books

Meanwhile, this commercial success also hints that she will have a top ten debut on the Billboard 200 chart with Scarlet. It’s been interesting to hear fan reception to the album considering Doja’s public controversies and her change in aesthetics. Do you think she stuck the landing? Let us know in the comments and come back to HNHH for the latest on Doja Cat.

Doja Cat’s Flows And Bars Are On Point With “97” From “Scarlet”

Doja Cat has been prepping fans to get ready for her renaissance for quite some time now. She is ditching the radio-friendly sound (for the most part) and embracing a more “masculine direction,” according to Genius. She spoke with Variety about where she wanted to take this LP. “I also agree with everyone who said the majority of my rap verses are mid and corny… I wasn’t trying to prove anything I just enjoy making music but I’m getting tired of hearing y’all say that i can’t so I will.” Well, how did she deliver on that promise? We would say that mostly meets those expectations.

When Doja does, she really impresses and there are plenty of examples. The lead single “Attention” is one that boasts nice flows and bars about being unapologetic for her new style and musical approach. “F*** The Girls (FTG)” is another cut that displays these same qualities. But debatably the highest lyrical point on the record is “97.”

Listen To “97” Off Of Scarlet From Doja Cat

Genius breaks down the lyrics below and there are many meanings for them. Horses is referencing the horsepower in cars and the fact that Doja is speeding suggets her car has lots of power. Medicating the horses is another way of saying she is modifying the vehicle to be even faster. However, it also means she could be intoxicated behind the wheel as horses refers to heroin. The PETA reference dates all the way back to one of her first hits, “MOOO!,” and the response she got from the organization. The animal-fur coats also plays along with it, on top of the red paint that Doja sported for the promotion of the record and her track “Paint The Town Red.” PETA activists are known to throw red paint on people wearing animal print too.

What are your initial thoughts on “97” from Scarlet by Doja Cat? Is this her best lyrical performance on the album? Is this the most underrated cut here? We want to hear what you have to say about this. So, be sure to leave all of your opinions in the comments section.
